this time we want to uh move into our children's study which will be brought to us by dr denise edwards uh be blessed by this powerful children's story good morning and happy sabbath boys and girls it is a privilege and a pleasure to bring you today's children's story so i just want you to sit back and put on those listening ears february was a very special month can anybody yell out even though i noticed by video yell out what month it was i think i hear it yes it's coming through it was black history month that's right black history month during that time i hope that you were able to learn a little more about the history and the heritage of black um about black people now did you know that the month of march is also another very special month and you're probably saying to yourself but what's so special about march springtime is coming and we know that it is going to be spring break for those that are in school but yes march is a very special month it happens to be the time that we celebrate women's heritage month it is during this time that you learn more about the contributions that women have made to society so yes it is only fitting that today the story that i'm going to bring to you happens to be about women in the bible and we all know some women who were in the bible but before we get started i want you to turn to whoever's sitting with you whether it's your mommy your grandmother your auntie whoever just give them a great big hug and say i love you go ahead do that right now turn say i love you and give them a hug now i know that made them feel special and i can feel the love coming through the video so thank you for doing that i have a question did you know that your mommy your auntie all of us at some point or another be with little girls we would hope that we had looked like this but we probably didn't but in our minds we thought that we did but we were all little girls but we grew up at some point or another into women and during that time certain things have happened and we have learned to grow so as we go about this story you're probably saying what does this have to do what are you talking about what does it have to do with today's story well just listen you'll find out do and as i said before do you know any women of the bible i'm sure that you have heard of people like eve and even mary martha maybe delilah queen esther the queen of sheba jezebel let's see there's jochebed and there's the porra there's mary magdalene there's miriam there's the wife of lot and you know the list can go on and on and on we know of course that there are plenty of men in the bible we've heard about them we've heard their stories over and over again but we may not have heard as many about the women but the women have played a special part god had women here in the bible who have left us messages and certain things that we can learn from them to help us even in our daily lives so we can still learn a lot from them today now i want you to listen as we talk about some of the women of the bible put on your listening ears because you will need to listen for certain words i want you to see if there are certain words that you just keep hearing over and over and over again and your parents if they have a pen or a pencil they can write down these women then they can go back later on during this month and maybe read your story or tell you a little bit about them but let's start with eve we all know about eve eve was the mother of us all if there was no eve guess what we wouldn't be here then as we continue on we have the mary we we're going to talk about mary i should say mary the mother of jesus she was full of faithfulness and i can't say that all of us could have been a mary mother of jesus but she took her responsibility very seriously she was faithful and if it wasn't for her we wouldn't have jesus in our life right now who is a very central a major focal point in our lives so we can thank mary the mother of jesus for that there are a couple of women that i'm going to talk about that we have learned what not to do remember samson and delilah delilah taught us what did we learn we learned from her that we should not lie we should not trick people and also at the same time we should not be selfish so keep that in mind we don't want to be a delilah then we have somebody else which i'm sure the parents are all going to sort of talk about is jezebel you do not want to be a jezebel and if you want to know more about jezebel i'm going to let your parents tell you why you don't want to be a jezebel we are going to continue on though with positive aspects of other women of the bible for example we have abigail abigail was very special in that she knew how to talk and she knew when to talk what to say and how to say it she had a lot of courage remember that word courage which means she was very brave and she was a strong woman then as we continue on we have deborah deborah she was very thoughtful she thought about others when whatever she did and she was also very courageous [Applause] then we have esther we have queen esther who had a lot of courage and she wasn't boastful boastful about what she did a woman that we don't hear a whole lot about jl jl was courageous oh are you hearing some words over and over again about these women courageous courage bravery then we have martha martha was a was one of mary's i was a sister of mary and she was a very kind and hospitable woman let's see who else do we have we have hannah who is just full of gratefulness then we have two people we have rachel and we also have hold on we have rahab both of them were very faithful if it wasn't for their faithfulness there would have been a lot of things that have happened that shouldn't have happened and then the last person that we're going to talk about right now is ruth ruth was a hard worker like i said there are many more women of the bible these are just a few but did you notice anything in particular about some of their characteristics or some of their traits some of the things that they had in common wait a minute did i hear somebody say it yes i heard it they were cur they they were courageous they had courage they were brave and they were very strong women and most of all they were faithful and even though we're talking about women of the bible it's not just for women it's for the boys also and for those of you that will become young men and then later on into men and those of you that are little girls right now that are going to become young ladies and then women but they all had characteristics you are developing some of those characteristics now and we just want you to then find other people people that you look up to it could be your mommy it could be um other women of the church or whoever look up to them that you look up to and you see these characteristics in them you're developing it now and if you start now or if i say you should continue being faithful in what you believe and have courage be brave at school at home at work at play you too would be just like the women and other people in the bible jesus wants you to be faithful and brave for him the bible verse first corinthians 15 10 says but by the grace of god i am what i am and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain let's bow our heads it's a very simple short prayer jesus help me to be brave strong courageous and faithful every day give me people to look up to but more importantly may you be seen in me amen until next week bye good morning church family my name is emmanuel junior and today i'll be reading our scripture it'll be found in isaiah chapter 43 verse 19. and it reads but now thus saith the lord that created thee o jacob and he that formed thee o israel fear not for i have redeemed thee i have called thee by thy name thou arts mind may the lord bless the reading hearing and doing of his word happy sabbath [Music] [Music] so [Music] come to the time of the service where we all participate there are a couple of times in church when we can all participate this one is really special um i'm always blown away by the fact that we get to talk to the creator of the universe it is a fantastic thing and he he hears us he understands us he made us and he knows what we need so we need to come to him as often as we can to either thank him for all the blessings that he gives us to let him know what our needs are so he can supply them for us as he has promised to do so if your week was exactly the way you wanted it to be wonderful you need to run down here and thank god for that if your week was absolutely terrible horrific then you need to run even faster down here to ask god to heal you from whatever you had to go through this week that was difficult he will hear you he understands he loves us all he has proven that time and time again so as our praise ministers sing and get us in the right attitude come on down to the altar and we'll talk to god [Music] jesus [Music] [Applause] [Music] has to say [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] our heavenly father we come before you this morning as empty vessels we are so unworthy to be in your presence we are lost sinful beings without you we are nothing we can do nothing we can accomplish nothing so first we want to thank you so much for the blessings that you have given us you watch over guide and protect you provide shelter and clothing and food and the things that we need to circumnavigate this life and we are so appreciative i know we don't say it enough we don't pray to you like we should and thank you for all the blessings but you promised you would never leave us or forsake us so even though we may fall down on the job you never do and we are so grateful for that we're grateful that you have given us this time to come aside to worship you in a special way yes we worship you every day and we praise you every day but there's something special about coming into the house of the lord and worshiping you we have been told that our god inhabits praise and so therefore we know that you live on praise and we are happy to be here to praise you we we thank you that you have brought us together on this particular sabbath day and look forward to many more to come lord we want to lift up the names that are on our health status report we know that you are the master healer and we know that any problem that anyone is facing you are the answer and the solution and so we asked lord that you would have all who are suffering in any way physically emotionally financially spiritually psychologically that they would seek your face and you have promised that you would answer so lord we want to put that list right in front of you today and ask that you would give a special blessing to those members on that list now lord we're living in the end times we know it the signs are fulfilling every day [Music] at this point in time lord we're dealing with a situation that has oh drastic drastic complications we have a leader who wants to rule other people and so he has invaded another country and he is threatening nuclear activity now lord we know you're in charge so we don't worry about it we we pray that you would stave that off and you know save the world that's wonderful but we lord need to be ready no matter what happens the main thing the important thing is that our souls are ready and right to go home with you so lord we know that there are some things we need to do as has been said we need to pray more often we need to study your word every day [Music] we need to be sure that we're prepared for whatever happens and so we can be ready to live and go home with you we want to thank you for our church for the organization of the church and also for our particular church here at kansas avenue it's been a blessing to so many and with technology the way it is today it's a blessing to those all over the world and we thank you for that and pray that you will continue to help us to reach souls in that way we want to do it greater than now lord bless our speaker of the hour give him a message that we are seeking and needing touch some soul today that has a special need and let them hear the words from you that they need to hear so they will turn their hearts to you forgive us for our sins lord for we we've all sinned and come short of your glory help us to be ready when you come and take us home to live with you we want to praise your name throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity these blessings we ask in your son's holy name and for his sake amen [Music] dog [Music] cheese [Music] what the heart has to say [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] how [Music] me [Music] me [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] yes yes yes yes oh praise god it's our time of giving amen how many of you have been blessed because somebody gave to you amen i believe all hands should be raised because god has given to you i'm not going to beat you over your head but i want you to know that only when we discover the grace of giving do we experience the joy of living [Music] someone said the most sensitive nerve of humanity is the pocketbook nerve uh a pastor spoke to the deacons about uh a proposed missionary offering one deacon objected we love our deacons not a deacon from kansas saying pastor if you don't stop talking so much to our people about giving money you are going to kill this church the pastor replied i don't think so i've never heard of anybody or church giving itself to death but if that should happen i'm going to conduct the funeral i will stand on the front steps of the church building and read loudly revelation 14 13 blessed are the dead which die in the lord and so we want to give on this sabbath we want to make sure that we give liberally we want to make sure that we give intentionally we want to make sure that we give with wisdom there are needs there are ministries in our church today we have children and pathfinders we have our praise team we have our band we we have our pastors we we have we have uh uh education so you can give uh informatively and and worship leader we just need a good memory cause when you start thinking about [Music] i was clowning the other day i said if god was to have a nickname it should have been campbell's soup because he's um good [Music] [Applause] yeah yeah [Music] you [Music] [Music] y'all this week take that with you this week come on clap your hands and give god [Music] sometimes we get in situations and they used to say old folk used to say he may not come when you want him but he's right on time and in a process like that you have to wait on the law and be of good courage again i say wait and sometimes waiting isn't the easiest thing to do because you know we we want god to do it like right now right now but if we just wait on the lord he will renew our strength come on lift your hands and worship lift your hands [Music] there's not a mountain too tall there's not a problem too small in time you can't reveal god will get it involved my god he cares about us [Music] so wait on the lord [Music] wait on the [Music] and he'll renew your strength there's not a lie too dark a journey too long to embark jesus will see you through in time he'll make you new cause all god he cares about us [Music] he'll renew your strengths [Music] i'm not turning back now i'm not turning back now i'm not turning back now [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] don't let the church say amen yes yes yes i i keep telling our praise and worship team and our band that uh we want for them to feel comfortable to worship we understand the significance of the structure of worship the significance must not be limiting to the extent that when the spirit flows we close the spirit out but we allow for the moving of god and we thank you thank you so much for allowing god to use you in a powerful way um thank you even as we worship today i want to bring to your attention that sister skinner whose birthday is tomorrow she's asking us for prayer for pastor skinner her husband who is currently in the loma linda hospital you know he has been having some health promised that i would make it public today so that as a church we can lift them up in prayers will you do that will you do that yes we celebrate this month women's heritage women's history month we transition not from black history but in collaboration with black history women's history month and throughout this month as we come before you each of us as pastors and on the last sabbath when we celebrate women's ministries emphasis sabbath we shall be seeking to elevate from scripture some of those individuals who made significant marks today i want to lift your attention to [Music] something that i spoke about before but every now and again you go back to that same well if there is fresh water second kings chapter five and verse one through to three second kings chapter five verses one through to three when you have found it if you will just stand with me in honor of god's word second kings chapter five verses one through to three i read in your hearing from the classic edition of the amplified bible the word of god reads thus amen commander of the army of the s king of syria was a great man with his master accepted and acceptable because by him the lord had given victory to syria he was also a mighty man of valor but he was a leper the syrians had gone out in bands and had brought away captive out of the land of israel a little maid and she waited on naaman's wife she said to her mistress would that my lord were with the prophet who is in samaria for he would heal him of his leprosy i want to put a tag on this and entitle our message for today made of honor your head's about your eyes are closed father we acknowledge that without you we are nothing but with you we are everything once again we thank you for what you have already done in this worship experience we have felt your spirit we have felt your power you have moved in a mighty way now as we open the book to take a look as we open your word it is your voice we desire to be heard i pray i pray i pray as i've prayed several times before please do not allow the sermon to get in the way of the message please do not allow the preacher to get in the way of the cross but i i pray that jesus will be lifted jesus will be seen jesus will be heard ah then when all is said and done may only his name be glorified because we pray with thanksgiving let everybody who love the lord say amen come on say amen again you may be seated in god's presence made of honor maid of honor maid of honor one of my favorite and all-time interesting memorable bible stories is that miraculous healing of naaman naaman in our text naaman the leper this compelling story graphically portrays the destructive power of sin upon humanity and contrasts it with the mighty restorative healing power of god when we teach or preach the story of naaman there are great divergent themes underscored to communicate different spiritual lessons profound effective practical and paralleling when we talk about naaman we preach about him when we talk or preach we talk or preach about pastor ricketts the contradiction of naaman how the power the fame and the military renown of this man were all wrestled down to common normalcy by the destructive conjunction but in our text naaman was a mighty man of valor but he was a leper with all that he was all the acclaim all the fame leprosy made naaman simply the most influential sick man in syria and this immediately teaches us that it doesn't matter who we think we are life can take a dramatic and drastic turn to make all our accolades and all our accomplishments of none effect when we are stared down by the threatening inevitability of death we we talk and we preach about naaman's preference for a political solution sister montgomery rather than the prescribed prophetic suggestion how he went to the king rather than to the prophet where he was told his help was to be found and this tells us that our faith our trust and our dependence for the resolutions in important things of life are not to be left solely upon or up to politicians it must not be left up to policy makers must not be left up to presidents because politicians policymakers and presidents will fail but god will never fail we talk or preach about the reluctant obedience of naaman how his arrogant prideful human nature kicked in when he went to the prophet and rather than simply accepting the prophetic prescription to be healed in the muddy waters of jordan he attempted to negotiate his way to the popular rivers of his choice aren't obama and farpara cleaner waters than the water of jordan and this teaches us that we must be willing to submit and surrender to the way of god in order to be completely healed by god oh we we we talk we preach about the totality of seven dips in jordan and we recognize that only after he dipped the required and prescribed seven times that he was healed and this helps us my brothers and my sisters to recognize and realize that we cannot deviate from the instructions of god and yet expect god to grant healing in our disobedience to god when god says seven six will not do do i have a witness yeah we we have talked about it we have preached about naaman but in as much as we we like the story of naaman and we like to have naaman as the main character in the story we need to feature the fact that had it not been for the intervention of the little unnamed maid there probably would not be the prospect of hope and healing for naaman this young girl she warrants the star of witnessing placed in the crown upon her head because her simple act though though stated with few words provide some reflective lessons for us today this this little girl we don't know her name but she becomes so influential in this story and the first thing i'd like to point to your attention is this dr parker she remained connected to god do i have a witness what did i say she remained connected to god although she was isolated from home her persistent connectedness to god is on full display watch this she she did not allow her new status in the white house to cause her to forget her upbringing come on somebody she was now living with the upper class that's where she was remember naaman was a mighty man revered regarded by the king he he was upper class he was high born he he was connected but but but she was not trapped by the high rolling life she remained connected to god undoubtedly undoubtedly undoubtedly being captured from her homeland meant there were significant adverse psychological influences and impacts think with me for a moment come lend me your minds come think with me on this text think of the trauma think think of the tears think of the tragedy wrapped up in her being torn away from family from homeland and brought captive in a strange land you have been watching the news you have seen all these refugees you have seen people moving especially in recent times where the media focuses on ukraine you have seen them moving from their homelands you have seen people from other countries less fortunate and in turmoil you have seen them struggling to move to a different place for a better life she was not asking for a better life she was torn from her homeland we do not know what time or day the raid took place but one bible scholar by the name of loch here describes the situation he paints the scene he says perhaps it was at night and she was aroused by the groans of those who were being slaughtered in her homeland among them possibly her own father was slaughtered we do not know all at once her life was turned upside down the grasp of a cruel raider was felt as she was wrenched from all that was dear to her heart her freedom's gone her liberties gone her independence gone now she was taken now she was just as they call it the spoils of war this designation is given to the property captured or confiscated in accordance with the laws of war she was the spoils of war can you see her look with me can you see her see her puzzled and panicked see her frightened and flustered see her angered and aggravated being dragged away by the syrians this must have caused her to turn her heart heavenward for the protecting care of the god she heard so much about the god she was taught to trust the jehovah her parents said would be a strong tower can you see her looking up to god the god who should be a shelter in the time of storm can you see her praying to the god who should be a mighty rock in a weary land can can you see her beseeching beseeching this god who should be a refuge and strength but she was not delivered can you imagine brothers and sisters come with me can can you imagine the questions in her young mind can you imagine what she was asking where is god in the midst of all of this where where is god now that i am hurting where is god now that things are going so wrong in my life where is god and this was a legitimate inquiry it was legitimate for her and it's legitimate for us right now because there are some of us we are having challenges in our lives we ask those very questions when our negative destructive experiences contradict the promises of scripture where is god when we must deal with the injustice of evil people prospering getting away with backstabbing and manipulation and deception while those who choose to do the right they are languishing and discriminated against where is god am i the only one in this place who asks that question where is god when pain sneaks through the window and dead comes creeping in the room where is god but the lesson we learned from this little girl today is that rather than losing faith in the god she could not see she remained connected by faith to the god she was confident was still there her trying condition did not make her lose confidence in god yes she was brought to live among people who did not worship her god but she still remained in the attitude of worship yes she had all the excuses legitimate as they were for relinquishing her faith but no she clung to the god of heaven do i have a witness in this place she she she she held on to the faith that she knew while she was growing can i spend a moment right now to to acknowledge her parents can i just spend a moment to do that who who followed god's instructions regarding his laws you shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house when you walk by the way when you lie down and when you rise up can i give kudos to the parents who spend those diligent irreversible influential moments without fail to help their children understand that this is a tough sinful world and it is only by god's grace that you will make it through can we put our hands together put our hands together for parents who will not surrender their responsibility to demonstrate faith in god with their growing children showing them that worship is still essential prayer is still the key of heaven and faith unlocks the door can i get some help in the place to celebrate those parents who will tell their growing children that church is not an option it's a requirement for good living so that when you get into situations where you are unable to handle it by yourself you will know to turn your eyes upon jesus and look full in his wonderful face can i get some help in the building to celebrate this young lady's parents oh okay okay okay okay you're not feeling me so let me put it like this you're not giving kudos to the parents so let me talk to the parents myself stop depending on the church to do those things that you need to do as parents with your child are you listening to me come come here you see the church hear me saints of the living god the church can provide programming but the church can never fill the place in the heart of your child that needs your attention and your love the church can provide activities and it should but the church can never substitute the intimate time that you need to spend with your child the church can provide friendships but the church can never substitute the parent parent-child relationship let me tell you why i stayed in the church it was not because of the activities at church that enticed me let me tell you why i stayed in the church it was because of parental example it was not because of parental admonitions i know my parents are watching and they know it wasn't because they were on me every day read the bible come to church it was because they read the bible every day they went to church they showed me how to pray by praying they showed me how to have faith because there were times when we did not have anything but i saw them asking god to provide and it was because of their example that as a kid not only did we sing the song give me that old-time religion i learned to understand that if it was good for kenneth and lola it is good enough for me and i'm telling you parents if your child will see it in you that you trust god and god comes through then they will say i want to have some of that are you listening to me can i take my time huh hear me your child's faith will not go further than the example you set the conversations you have at the dinner table you cannot develop faith and confidence in the structure of the church when your dinner conversation is berating the leadership of the church you cannot get your child or children to sing on the choir or praise ministries if all you do is talk down the music of the church hmm are you listening are you getting what i'm trying to say when you speak negative about church how long it is how loud it is how this it is how that is it and they hear you why on earth should they go to the place that you are criticizing so much i'm coming too hard at you they they they didn't force me but i saw in my parents people who enjoyed working for god they enjoyed doing the things for god and i said to myself i gotta be a part of that that's why i stayed in the church my parents never forced me to pray a meeting but i saw them diligently attending they never forced me to study the sabbath school lesson but i saw them studying the sabbath school lesson they didn't force me to work in the church but i saw them parents you got a set come on somebody i know you ain't gonna shout for this but that's fine thank you robert if you don't believe me come here ellen ellen white says the conduct of the captive made the way she bore herself in the heathen home is a strong witness to the power of early home training i see her can you can you come with me can you see her she did not assimilate and say when in rome do as the romans do she didn't vacillate and say since i'm in vegas what happens in vegas stays in no she stayed connected to god connected she stayed connected but not only was she connected the bible illustrates clearly that she was also converted are you listening to me not only was she connected but she was converted now i need to pause here nestor and differentiate these two because you you can be connected but still not converted are are you with me huh to to be connected glenn means you are attached to god but to be converted means that you are transformed by god huh are you with me okay a couple of years ago pre-pandemic i had to travel to durban south africa so i sister hughes went to to target come on somebody oh am i wrong did i should i say tarjay huh huh i went i went to target at least i didn't come on so i ain't gonna mess with nobody right now i went to target because i i was traveling with my mini clothes steamer yeah i'm not gonna iron i'm just gonna steam come on somebody so so i went to to to get a an adapter because i know the electrical outlets are different huh they're different so so i got me an adapter when i got to south africa when i got to durban the the the adapter it helped me to get connected i i connected but but eating after a few uses when i plugged my steamer in since the pad it burnt up too much power but i was connected tony hear me when i came back i went to target and said you sold me something that was not good the attendant looked at me and said sir it was good why do you believe it was not good i said because when i went on my trip and i plugged my thing in it worked for a while but then it burnt up the attendant said to me more kids it said what you bought was an adapter that's not what you needed you didn't need an adapter you needed a converter huh because an adapter can get you connected but a converter regulates the voltage that's what you need you see the problem with many of us is that we are connected but not converted and because we are not converted the power oh i wish i had a witness the power dynamic is messing with our lives you see sin cannot stand in the presence of god that's why we need to be converted so that what flows from god will flow through us you're not converted it will burn you up maybe that's why some of us are so frustrated in church when it gets too hot because we're not converted and so it's too much for us i'm so glad that jesus lifted me so that when i get into his hold me down today hold me today lord i see this young girl not just a connection of heart but a conversion of heart see see see when we intricately observe the text her conversion is brightly displayed in the fact that greater hear me hear me hear me hear me greater than her personal pain was the demonstration of kindness to her captors sister romy sister romy understand if you will that within her jewish orientation and religious tradition anyone suspected of having leprosy was seen to be touched by the finger of god they were seen to be having robert the judgment of god upon their lives that was in her orientation that was in her mind therefore she could have easily said good for you the finger of god has touched you because you have wreaked havoc upon my homeland she could have easily said i'm gonna keep my testimony to myself good for you die for you go to hell for you but she did not allow for anything that was negative inside of her to overrule her kindness she said i know a man in my homeland if you ever need some help come and go with me oh i wish i had some help in the building when you get into a tough spot on the job somebody backstabbing you you don't have to say the f word you can say come and go with me to my father's house to my father's house to my father's house come and go with me to my father's house there's joy [Music] joy joy yes yes [Laughter] [Music] she said i i i know a man i know a man over on the side that you messed up the country that you tore up i know a man who can help you there are some bible scholars who suggest that it is possible that naaman himself was part of the army that destroyed her homeland and captured her here is the question can you be kind to the person who seeks to destroy your life mess with your people and do all kinds of bad things to you can you still recommend your god to them come come come here sister white come here one more time satan takes delight in ruling the hearts of children and if he is permitted he will inspire them with his own hateful spirit that's why i celebrate the parents this young girl she was displaced but she remained converted i got two more for you do you have time not only was she connected not only was she converted but she was convicted verse 3 says she set on to her mistress would god my lord were with the prophet that is in samaria for he would recover him of his leprosy not now it is easy it is easy for us to view this act in a triton trivial way mr fletcher i i contend to suggest that she simply stated something out of sheer youthful impulse was just youthful impulse may be correctly rendered or or stated as interpretive mis or malpractice it's it's a spiritually insensitive mistake this was not just a casual statement that she made this was a statement from the bowels of conviction she was not willing to hide her light under a bushel although only a maid she did not feel too unimportant to influence those who were above her the witness of this young girl reminds us today that whatever station we are in life whatever our situation whatever our tests are our trials whatever our location or position we must remain unashamed about the conviction in god or circumstances must never defeat the desire to display our beliefs the bottom line is that when we have the light of god in us we must be so convicted that we see it as an obligation to shine for him but but but conviction must have foundation her statement was a strong belief but it was based on evidentiary knowledge and personal faith she was not just sharing theory she was not just sharing theology she was sharing a personal testimony huh she was sure i know a man you can't say i know jesus if you don't know him huh what has he done for you lately what have you done with him for you to come and tell me you know jesus this young lady said i know there is someone would he come over i know that he would be healed why because she had a testimony she knew what elisha had done in the past and i hear say to you that you can stand as someone with conviction when you are able to enunciate what god has done in your life you can tabulate you can testify you can glorify his name because you know what he has done for you you can look for witnessing opportunities and tell somebody i was broke but he blessed me i was sick but he healed me i was down but he lifted me you've got your own testimony i'm not telling what somebody told me i know for myself what the lord has done for me [Music] i'm done i'm done i'm out of your way i promise you i'll see you another time may the lord be with you may he cause his face to shine upon you but i see this young lady she was connected she was converted she was convicted but finally she was convincing because the bible tells us that they heard her and they followed her i don't know when it took place maybe at the dinner table or maybe when she was washing the dishes i don't know when she said it but when she spoke it she was so convincing that neyman he got up and he went on over to get his healing it was so convincing that words got to the king can you imagine a little girl saying something so important that it got to the king may i suggest to you that youthfulness doesn't stop you from making the word of god come alive in you i tell you i'm adam out of your way but can i shout this day to you and let you know that because of this little girl naaman went over saw the man of god the man of god said to him go dip in jordan seven times at first he said it was too dirty it was not the kind of church he wanted to go why should i go over to kansas avenue oh no that's not my style of worship why should i dip her over there but the prophet said dip and if you want to be healed you better dip well he dipped one time and it didn't happen dip two times didn't happen dipped three times didn't happen dip four times didn't happen dip five times didn't happen dip six times didn't happen but it feels like sunday it didn't happen monday did it happen tuesday did it happen wednesday did it happen first day did it happen friday did it happen but on the sabbath day on the seventh differ he came up clean i wish i had some help in the building you're not ashamed to stand and testify that the goodness of god is greater than your challenge can we celebrate the fact that god is still good he's a mighty healer mighty rock weary land he's a shelter in the time of storm say yet yeah i celebrate her she's a maid of honor [Music] in the annals of scripture her name may not be written down but her influence stands supreme i challenge all of you that somebody is depending on you to be a witness for my god come on put your hands together and celebrate the goodness of god come on praise team let me hear you whatever you got [Music] to you [Music] use me lord to show [Music] to you [Music] oh [Music] you say [Music] away [Music] to [Music] lord [Music] to you [Music] to shove someone away [Music] [Applause] [Music] is [Music] is [Music] wherever you are go ahead and stand with me at this time stand with me stand with me stand with me [Music] the spirit of god speaks clearly with a desire to use you to impact your surrounding your your world wherever god has placed you wherever god has planted you god desires for you to to blue bloom where you're planted your age your stage these are not challenges to the mighty power of god god has great enablings whoever you are wherever you are the question today simply is this do you want to be used by god if that's your desire i'm going to ask you just to raise your hand simple question do you want to be used by god to testify of his goodness wherever you are wherever you go do you want jesus to be seen in you [Music] this is your desire [Music] my storage is empty but i'm available [Music] here here's my other question do you want to have the power of god to enable you to do what god wants for you to do if that's your desire you need special prayers today and you want to say brother preacher pray for me yes i desire to be used by him but i need special prayers today why don't you come on down just come on just come on whoever you are just come on you want to be used you want to be used you just want special prayers come on come on [Music] you just need special prayers just come [Music] my on is empty and i'm available [Music] i sense that you need to sing it one more time i store it and i am a [Music] eye closed come on villain pray right now father in heaven we we thank you for the power of worship all throughout today we have felt your spirit in this place we we sense oh god that you desire to use us in a in a mighty way the challenges we face the difficulties around us they seem insurmountable they seem so gargantuan they seem so overpowering but we know god that [Music] by your grace by your power there is no obstacle that we cannot surmount in fact if we're unable to climb over them if we're unable to push through them you have a way of removing obstacles you have a way of making ways through red seas you have a way of breaking the chains you have a way of breaking down prison doors because you have all power so today we surrender ourselves to you throughout this congregation and online there are those who are declaring they want to be used by you like this maid of honor in a strange place in a difficult circumstance she was still willing to remain connected she was still converted and convicted and convincing oh god we desire to be just like that no god we celebrate your goodness today [Music] but in a very special way god there are some who walked from their seats to the altar the desiring of you to empower them and be a source of strength in their life i pray your presence upon them so that as they leave this place today they will feel renewed in their commitment revived in their spirits knowing that you are with them then i pray for every person who raises her hand today i pray that your peace and power will reign supreme those online who have indicated in the chat oh god i pray that you will be with them i pray for parents who are influencing the lives of young ones this young girl stands as a model to the great parental care and guidance we know god the struggles are different but oh god we know that you are the same god you are able to help even in these most challenging days so god i pray right now that you will hear our prayers look upon each heart and hear what we desire from you and then ultimately heavenly father when your kingdom shall come may it please you to welcome us then oh god even as we close this prayer we continue to render our conviction we continue to declare to you we want to be available to you we continue to declare god that we open ourselves up so that you can flow in and through us then when all is said and done oh god even as we close this worship service may your peace your presence your power be with us now and even forevermore because we pray with thanksgiving in the mighty and the matchless and the powerful name of jesus christ our lord and our savior and together we shout amen put our hands together and celebrate you for who you are we shout amen and we shout amen again [Music] [Music] do so [Music] all of my life i've never known you to fail you remain the same and wonderful is your [Music] and you remain the same and wonderful vision [Music] [Music] [Music] you
