I think you guys are a little to hasty in your comments. He is Mike Chao, a world champion in manipulation. I know everyone can be a critic, but you have to give credit where it is due. This guy is a beast at what he does.
Beautifully executed slights in a series for no apparent reason. Magic is such a great story telling device, I'm getting tired of these routines with no through-line.
Mixed reaction: impressive to watch, but ultimately boring for me. A bit too much form over function for me.
It's a shame the hidden deck wasn't very hidden. Not sure if that was an issue with stage lighting or the performance itself though. Still enjoyed it overall.
