[Music] his mercy upon you my brothers and sisters whatever you may be um this topic of el jin is such a an amazing topic and the reason why we chose to talk really about this topic is that there's a something that's the difference between a myth and a reality there's a lot of myth out there about this world of jinn but in fact the purpose is really to shed some light from the quran and the sunnah on this world of the jinn and that people know you know about this word abdijin insha allahu ta'ala i will assure you at the end of this course as the norms people tend to be scared of something called jinn but insha'allah after this the end of this lecture you will be armed with not weapons of mass destruction you will be armed with enough knowledge insha'allah to not only protect yourself but to know more about this word of jin and it will be insha'allah from now on and you won't be uh no longer be um sort of uh when you hear something called jinn you won't have that that fear as the fear should be the fear to allah so let me share with you first of all an agenda of what we're going to talk about or the topics that we will cover today in allah we will talk about the word of jin the creation the dwellings the reasons for black magic witchcrafting epilepsy precursors testing for witchcrafting how can you test whether you've been hit by some black magic kinds of also witchcrafting there's different kinds of witchcrafting the cure from witchcrafting and how to protect oneself it's extremely important which is easy to safeguard and also we'll talk about briefly the evil eye and how to protect yourself from the evil eye so these are the uh basically it's uh this normally this lecture is uh spreading into like five series of lectures which i'm trying to condense and then deliver it for you my brothers and sisters tonight [Music] but first i'd like to show a little video nothing scary nothing really just a little video just to put things into perspective could girl was basically possessed by the gene so now let's go back and talk about this amazing world of the jinn after basically after the sanctions brothers and sisters after the sanctions because we need to have some history here after the sanctions that were exercised against the muslims against the prophet ali the persecution that the sahaba gone through the torture uh by quraysh to the muslims and the to the sahaba of the prophet the prophet is you may know he went to ta'if as he was looking for basically people who could embrace the religion of islam as he was finding it pretty much difficult in makkah so he moved to ataef trying to call the people of and you know the his you know the story of what happened in the taif but allah wanted to alleviate some of the pain on the prophet as you know he went to you know mecca tried to call people you know kicked him out from mecca he went to if trying to call people to the religion of islam people from thais you know they they build him with rocks and hit him with rocks to the extent that his uh he started bleeding alistar they broke his you know teeth his feet were bleeding so you could imagine the the suffering and the hardship that the prophet ali was enduring and by the way you know look at you here you know i mentioned the prophet satan so many times and i could not hear maybe few of them who are saying says whosoever you know whenever my name has been mentioned and whosoever does not make salat on me he is my he's he's not generous in fact if you want to be among you know with the the uh uh laws of the prophet sallam his neighbor in jannah those who makes and send this salam upon him so when you hear the name of the prophet sallam says so and so what happened was as we were talking about you know the ta'if and and and what not uh allah wanted to alleviate you know some of the sufferings on the prophet allah so what happened instead of humans embracing islam the jin on the other hand started embracing islam the jinn were looking they heard about this prophet so they went around looking for this nabi what used to happen before the coming of the prophet they used to hear the news from the angels the news you know all angels will be talking that you know allah will bless so and so with a boy allah will bless so and so with a with a wife allah so they used to hear these news from the heavens and they used to uh relate those news to witchcrafters you know as people used to believe in those with in in witchcrafting so they would go to those uh sorcerers and and and and and so sayers and charlatans and fortune tellers telling them about you know the news of the heavens and then they would go and then read those news so basically when the prophet ali came you know his message the uh the jinn would no longer could no longer hear what was happening on the news from from the heavens but there was the news that you know there was the coming of the prophet salam and this this is in the quran also there's a hadith in bukhari reported by uh by uh of the lab he was with the prophet and then the prophet went you know a little further and then abdullah said when he sought he saw the prophet salaam there were some people who were some different creations gathering around the prophet gathered around him so much so that abdullah could not see the prophet so abdullah moved and he went to see you know the prophet saw what's happening to him the prophet isaiah you know uh um gave a sign to abdullah to stay back there were the coming of these in their you know existing you know uh physical basically um shape we'll talk about whether you can see you know technically speaking whether you can see the jinn or not the prophet saws gave him a sign to stay back and then this was the jin who came you know asking the prophet some about islam and they embrace islam so this is the first uh acquaintance of jinn and this word the jinn from no say being the city called in the city it's called sabine it's in sham you know in the sha so now eljin what is el jin but before let me just tell you some of the resources or the sources that i uh basically uh relied on when and doing this research some of the books one of uh really a prominent book called the book of the uh of the jinn and the devils in the light of the quran and the sunnah it's a really really good book by uh it's one of the most authentic books i found out there that talk about the the word of the jinn and a shayateen in the light of the quran and the sunnah there is another great book by the by uh uh uh protection uh from jin and and uh and the devils were quite insane there is another interesting book that i just i found out just a few years ago interview with the jin interesting interview with the jin this shaykh who apparently was uh doing some rukia on someone and then the gene spoke in the you know the voice of that person who was possessed and he had this interview with jin asking him questions we will talk with her i mean we'll we'll talk about whether we you know when you hear something from a shaytan do you believe them do you believe anything they say or do the basically can they dwell human bodies can they come into different forms can you see them so these are some of the questions that we will cover in sha allah what is the jin linguistically i don't know if you're taking notes but i'm doing this presentation just to make it easy for you to basically take notes al-jin is the opposite of ins jin is opposite of ins when you say anes anesthesia in arabic ins is humans inc in arabic is human jin is in in seven allah he said to his family i perceived a fire i saw a fire this is musa nesto which means is from something that you can see in it's something that you can see something that you can feel comfortable with well as jin what it is something that is hidden that is concealed so this is the main difference linguistically between ins and jin inc is something that you can see well is something that is hidden allah says when the night covered him covered him which means again another evidence that jin is something that is hidden covered you can't see what as ins is something that you can see when you say in arabic you say majnun in arabic is majnun he lost his mind he lost his mind you can't see his mind he lost his mind majnun from jin again you can't see the jin basically but we will talk a lot more about this who was created first the jinn of the ins what's the evidence what here we go the jinn were created before man the jin were created before man and uh this is in number 26 27 says so we created the man from sound in clay from mud molded into stages and the jin race we had created before before from a fire of a scorching wind this is in swarat swarath number 26 27. jin are they muslims non-muslims believers non-believers hindus what are they they are basically just like humans they are you know some of them are believers some are not some are muslims some are jews some are christians some are hindus amongst us other muslims amongst us are muslims and there are others who are not you know wrong doers so they are good jin in fact my brothers and sisters could be jeans sitting with us today and we welcome them and we say salaam alaikum they believe in right so the existence of the jinn it is something that actually is proved from the quran and the sunnah the existence of the jinn it is proven in the quran and the sunnah and also from the consensus of allah that the existence of jinn is proven in the kitab and the sunnah and the consensus of the salaf he says similarly the fact that jinn can dwell in human bodies is also proven by the consensus of because some people do not believe that jinn can dwell in human bodies there is a hadith in bukhari and muslim and allah about this woman who came to the prophet she had a baby she had a son who was possessed the son was possessed so the prophet went to his ear and then he says [Music] in arabic means come out come out so what what what comes before coming in you know you guy where did your brothers come in from the from the window where did your brothers coming from from that door right so you came in from that door when you leave are you gonna leave from the window from the door hopefully from the door right so the prophet says before in arabic there's something called hodus exit the whole entry so when the prophet says come out which means that there was before there was the which means there was an entry so the prophet was telling us so it is proven that dwelling in human bodies is also proven by the consensus of imams imam abu when people used to let's say people who are possessed or or been hit by black magic they would go to imam ahmad and then muhammad you know so basically to do some you know for them just send his shoe you just take my shoe and take it there you know take it to that person the jinn will know that this is the shuv they will his mercy upon them also says about the the ayah from the quran says those who eat riba those who deal with would usury will not stand in the day of resurrection except like standing of a person beaten by shaytan leading into leading him into uh insanity allah says 275 reba will not stand in the observation uh resurrection except like standing of a person beaten by shaytan a person being you know hit by shaytan so this is another evidence that the uh that they can dwell in human bodies and then we'll talk a lot more about that there's a hadith in fact in bukhari bukhari and this is a beautiful hadith narrated by safiyah safiyah whosoever by the way the wife of the prophet was walking with safiya at night and then some sahabis the you know some some people from the ansar you know a couple men from the ansar they walked by and then they saw him they saw the prophet with a woman and as they moved he called them come come this is safiya this is my wife safiya they didn't say anything but the prophet saws didn't want them to have these bad ill thoughts about the prophet saw who is the prophet withyani the prophet didn't want to have him you know have him to have those bad thoughts so he said this is this is my wife this is my wife this is safiyah yeah we have any doubts and then the prophet aristotle says about the shaytan flows through the son of adam as blood flows shaytan flows as blood flows shaytan frozen okay with regards to their lives and wedding places they are like other creatures they have their own lives they get married they have children they have offsprings parents they produce you know they have their own you know kids but where do they like to basically live we need to know where did they like to live they basically like to live in very let's say uh ruins and clean places so you would you know they like these uh uh like places like toilets and that's why the prophet saws used to tell us you know entering the toilet so toilets dump yards garbage dumps deserted places deserted places why deserted places you don't know that you know they are afraid of something called ins they want to give you you know they want to give you space they don't want to be with you they're afraid of you instead of you becoming you know being afraid of them they are afraid of you that's why they don't want to live with you they live in deserted places deserts oceans uh filthy places haunted places you know it's an old house nobody leaves it so they like these very you know dirty places fireplaces empty places why they don't they want to be far away from from inc from man this is reported in uh in abu dhabi and classified about these um about the toilets inhibited by the by the devils so that's why the prophet is the hadith you know when you go inside the toilet this is also in a buddha uh that a person would enter with what what what foot left foot and come up with the right and what do you say when you come in you seek allah so they like to live in these again these uh garbage dumps and these ruins and clean places they also live in mosques they also live in mosques they could be they live with biased people's houses these are the muslim ones the muslim genes in giving them lectures just like humans muftis you know again it's just basically it's a very wonderful it's a intriguing world but very similar to that of man okay the shape the form the myth and the reality the form you know um different you know the eyes reds you know uh horns and tails and so this is when you talk about the gel on the jin of the devil you know this is how people normally you know picture them and it's a myth what's the reality but we have certain hadith from the prophet um that the form uh that the gene they take the shape they could take the shape of some animals that could take the shape of some animals and humans uh like reported by abu hurairah the hadith in bukhari the when abu hurairah was guarding the you know the bank of the muslims and came to him the shaitaan in the form of a man you know and then what did what happened was that you know the story was wrong but you know he caught him he says you're trying to steal from the money of the muslims he says oh please i'm going to take you to the prophet saws he says please let me go i have i'm an old man i have family i have kids i have you know and then the prophet then he let him go but he told the story to the prophet salallahu told him he will come back and then he came back the second day trying to steal you know he got caught please let me go i will not come back i'm gonna have kids i have to feed and so he let him go and the prophet told him i said he said he will come back you know come back for the third time he says this is it is i'm taking it to prophet he said please let me go and i will give you something i will give you a golden advice what is the advice shaytan giving advice what is the advice before you go to sleep and who says this advice a shaytan when the prophet told the prophet about this incident he told him which means lying he's a liar which means you don't believe that they're liars but here he spoke to the truth that you know when you recite question before you go to sleep no shaytan can't harm you in fact let me tell you you wanted to hear some of the stories right are you ready [Music] here's one the shaykh was not this one sheikh salam he was performing on someone who is possessed and then the jin spoke in the tongue and will give evidence the jin spoke in the tongue of that man who was possessed and he says if you don't leave me alone i will harm you leave me alone i will harm you he says you cannot threaten me and this is the thing you have to have firm belief in allah who is the one who can harm everybody allah who is the one who can benefit allah who is the one who can give life who is the one who gives death allah you have to have this firm belief in allah he says you cannot harm me i challenge you he says i know your house i don't know where you live and are you in a family and i'm gonna do this so i'm gonna just fine but come out from this man he says okay tonight i'm coming to harm he says come welcome and then the next day the sheikh went back again doing his trying to you know you know reciting on that man was possessed and then again the genie spoke he says i came to harmony let me even give you the evidence of how your home you know he describes his home to him he says i could not harm you know why you decided question before you went to sleep allah has sent you an angel guarding you i couldn't i couldn't harm you this is from jin to you know two men into a human basically a reciting ayatollah before you go to sleep is a key and sleeping with wudo as we will talk when we talk about you know um how to safeguard yourself sleeping in uh as much as you can in sha allah so jin they take the shape of animals and of humans in uh in in the battle of battle in the battle of buddha there was a report also in the bukhari that the shaytan appeared in the form of so he was you know calling the prophet has passed away muhammad died you know so that took the form of the shaytan took the form of sahabi uh also the shaitaan also appeared in the form of so they could appear in the form of humans or animals and we'll talk about that as well in fact there's a hadith in in muslim narrated by abu sayyaf in madina the prophet they were you know they spread and the prophet salallahu told the people of medina if you see snake in your home don't kill that snake until you give it a warning you know of three times and a warning come out or i will kill you come out i will kill you come out but i will kill you he says that could be a jin in your home so give that that snake if you see snake in your home or the black scorpion or the scorpion gave it a a warning before you killed that snake or that scorpion this was in this is inside muslim also and now we explain this as well something really nice he says jin may lead people astray the jin they may lead people astray by appearing in the form of sense some sheikh like this one of my students in in back in in morocco he says my mother came to me this is students mashallah who started you know becoming more religiously committed inclined so under his growing beard his his mother told him you have to shave your beard and says mom you know this isn't of the prophet ali i cannot shave my beard so she had a dream apparently and then she came to him the next day she says i saw i think it's the prophet heart of satan i think very good nice man wearing a white you know uh turban white taupe you know having a white beard he's telling me tell abdul aziz to shave his beard tell abdul aziz to shave his beard and then this mom that shaytan that is not the prophet so they could come in a form of of saints just to deviate people you know so be careful okay that wastes do they have waste do they eat and they eat just like humans so if they eat then they must have waste okay what happens to that waste or what kind of waste is it [Music] narrates the hadith that the person is that the prophet ali islam says a person whom is the person who is the shaitaan has urinated in his ear or her ear so this yodan is it a liquid but it could be maybe from smoke the prophet says that shaytan has urinated in your ear you try you know have you tried it maybe when you missed salah and you did something come out from your ear no huh so it's could be but the prophet says the shaytan has urinated in the ear of that person which means it could be well as some some people say it could be that the you know the the urine is from smoke not liquid but they have waste as well just like humans before i say this how about their dress how did they dress have we seen jane no we haven't i don't know about you but the zinn and how did this but the prophet said something interesting this is uh in bukhari is what narrated by abu hurairah that the prophet says do not walk on only one shoe why because the shaytan likes these you know he like he likes to walk on one shoe or he likes to sleep on the shade you know if you are like he's sitting on the shade between like the sun and the shade uh don't don't just go like half in the sun and half in the shade be in there in the sun or be on the you know on the shade don't be in the in the middle why because this is the the type of uh you know this is how the shaitan likes to be he likes to sleep on his belly he likes to you know he likes to wear only one shoe so in bukhari the prophet says when you walk you know when you wearing shoes don't just wear one shoe and then you know and and have the other you know food barefooted you know make sure you either wear two you know shoes or you know boat shoes poor pairs or don't don't why because the shaytan you know likes to you imitating the shaytan basically if you're doing that can they be seen can they be seen technically speaking as we said jin cannot be seen why because we explained the jin and ins jin is something that is covered it's something that is hidden well as ins is something that is that can be seen and can be uh but they can be seen under certain conditions what conditions if they appear in the form of humans or if they appear in the form of animals they could be seen other than that if somebody comes and tell you i've i saw jin there's a lot of things happening and i've heard them all maybe you know i've seen it and i've seen that uh um don't believe that it's there's no no evidence no neither from the quran and the sunnah that the jinn can be seen right they cannot be seen technically speaking again and as they come in the form of of humans but here's something else when the prophet aristotle says they flow in the son of adam as blood flows they're extremely fast there's a hadith in that as well you know they're faster than the speed of light do you know the speed of light what it is 186 000 miles per second 186 000 this is something happened to me personally okay i mean with my students who are wearing this masjid in ikna toronto and there was this boy who was actually who has been possessed so we've been trying to do loki on him and i had like four or five big guys trying to hold him and this guy's miss keen again miss keene what is the mesquite yeah this guy's a little little you know a little missing he's just a little tiny guy but four big guys couldn't handle him what happened was he ran away from the masjid we took a car and you know in toronto snowing very cold day it's no freezing so we took a card and he went you know running and we went you know following him with the car we couldn't see the guy he just just like the speed of light i said it's faster than the speed of light and he was barefooted and we saw the guy running in the uh under on the snow running in this field he crossed the field and we drove for about five ten minutes we drove about five ten minutes to go to his home he was there in his home he was inside his home we caught him in his home how did he make it allah [Music] but the guy is subhan allah i don't know how you know he ruled i mean we saw him some of my students were seen walking like you know and he was just so the problem you know faster than the speed of light the speed of light which is 186 000 miles per second they're faster than that and in fact this is one of the signs of black magic when you see somebody and we'll talk about this somebody who's like their eyes moving very fast very fast let me see here yeah so this is one of the signs my eyes moving very very very fast they can appear in the form of a cat black cat black dog or the dog they like the color black i don't know for some reason black snake so these are some of the animals that could appear how about the six categories of uh of shaytan to pay attention to there are six categories as per some of them there is one who's been appointed to whisper at the time of salah his name is the guy the shaytan who comes at the time of salaam then he whispers that's his specialty that's his job he's been appointed to just come to you and then whisper at the time of salah there is another one the one who likes to separate between husbands and wives in fact this is the most beloved to the big shaytan and this is in bukhari in fact because the shaitaan he sits with and we will talk about the shaitan the master shaitan the medical jain who um sits with his shayateen they're giving him reports so one shaytan says i made this man commit zina and shaitan he just hears him this is buhari and muslim so it's a sound hadith and he said another shatter comes and says i made this man steal i made this guy do this i made this guy do that i made this woman do this i mean this woman make you know they move for hijab so they keep on you know submitting their reports to him and then one shaytan one guy comes and say i made one man separate from his wife and he says you're the man come come enter and then he will bring him says six sit next to me you're my beloved one the one who separate between a husband and a wife he is most beloved to shaytan be careful don't let the shaitan trick you and you know with those who are married sometimes when you're arguing with arguing with your spouse what the shutdown comes and say are you going to let her say that huh are you a man are you going to let her say that why don't you respond respond tell her who's the boss and then she and then he goes to her you think you know you have to test him you think he loves you no he doesn't huh go tell him don't don't do because now it's now or never now never so don't don't be quiet give him give him yeah yeah and then and then he goes to him again and then and until you hear talaq and that's what he wants talaq he wants to hear that been getting phone calls from you know some people saying so what's going on i know and uh made talk but i was under anger i was angry with my wife and then i issued anger what should you say so people you have to be careful so this is another category just go through this category and then we will break for sallallahu the one who triggers fights in markets there's another category of society that just triggers fights in markets the one who beautifies lies to people it's a white lie it's okay to like it's a white line in what conditions what are these conditions three conditions which ones which ones are these conditions number one huh or well let's say you know your enemy basically going north you can tell them i'm going south you know the cia jews how about the second you know permissible type of lies huh yeah everybody knows this one to you the wife yeah to your wife so what does that mean to your wife you lied to your wife no let's say she was uh perfumes in masha allah this perfume is the best perfume a masha allah this dress is maybe a line but you're not like lying lying this dress is i bought you this dress you know how much i bought it for one thousand dollars what what you bought it for you know it was on sale yeah i bought it for 1 you're lying but she might nail you if you understand if she knows you know so this is this type of line is yes and then the third type of life to reconciliate between two it is okay to go to one brother tell him this he he wants to he loves you he wants to talk but he's just afraid he wants to talk to and then you go to the other man you say the same thing basically you know this guy he speaks good of you and everything so that's you know he wants to talk to you it's okay yes to lie here in this in these conditions in these uh instances number five the one who whispers at the time of calamities at the time of heart calamities he comes in and then whispers and then for women to slap their faces and to tear their clothes and you know this is another shaytan who comes at the time of calamities and this other category the one who comes uh who makes people fall into adulthry who makes people fall into adultery so we'll pause and then we'll pick up right after allah with some more very very in this is i haven't gotten into anything yet this is nothing this is just like i'm just giving you an appetizer wait for the main menu the main course subhanallah so we spoke about the different categories to pay attention uh the one appointed to whisper at the time of salah the one appointed to separate between husbands and wives the one who triggers fights in markets uh do you know from the hadith which is muslim the the from the back really i mean it's uh the that whispering is disturbing the brothers here so i would really request you if you could if you don't mind please um listen up um the most beloved sites in the in the our places in the site of allah are the masajid and the worst uh most uh hated sites or locat or or locations in the side of the entire markets markets the one who beautifies lies the people the one who whispers at the time of calamities and the one who makes people fall into adultery the prophet has indicated in several ahadid that the uh that the angels do not enter houses having statuses pictures of humans and animals these pictures of humans you know it's been a big discrepancy amongst but there's a hadith which is very sound and authentic uh that clarifies this this basically this uh discrepancy uh about statuses that the angels do not enter you know houses that have not those statuses and also pictures pictures of humans basically how about if i have a picture of uh let's say nature you know nature uh picture of uh it does not show the the exact let's say figure it doesn't show the eyes and the nose or the mouth you know uh or of either humans or not or animals uh as long as you know that picture doesn't show that details that it's it's fine uh also dogs you know uh angels do not enter a house with by these uh you know um their dogs inside how about toys there's a very well known question about toys is that okay it's all fine you know toys as long as you have something that you do not dignify meaning that there's some picture and and then you just step in on it like on the carpet on like a doll you know like your your your barbie you know you're throwing it and you know you you it's thrown here and there it's just not something that you value it's fine it is fun even if it has you know the eyes on the nose that's what you know toys are okay in town i mean in town in in your homes basically uh despite the the discrepancy but this is the opinion that i found to be most correct and this hadith she was praying you know playing with this uh you know and the prophet asked her what are you playing with she said this is like you know like a horse's you know she had some horses at home you know that she made uh that she was playing with you know like toys the book that i read you know the uh interview with the jinn this is not something that we would believe and something that we do not believe we say allah almighty because there is no not nothing strong that can back the statement up but this man when he was talking to this guy who uh to the jedi who who spoke in the mouth of that person that was uh sick he says you know he says you know why pictures he says we are attracted to pictures you know there's some sort of like uh like something that attracts the gene to these pictures so if you have something at home you know cover it cover it up you know uh if you have an album you know as long as it's covered it's fine videos are fine you know but if you if you let's say you know if you expose them that's where the problem lies that's where the problem lies so try if you have them you know don't don't expose them at least you know cover them or or or let's say you're talking about album again and it'll cover the album up it should be fine insha'allah the prophet sallam has mentioned this hadith when someone when someone let's say sleeping and then he wakes up to go let's say to the you know restroom or drink or something then he wants to come back to his um to his bedding he should sort of wipe his bed in three times and say bismillah bismillah you don't know who's been sleeping there who might be there so just you know the prophet this is muslim just say this milan then wipe your your bed where or when do they spread you know the you know this jinn and what time do they come out you know when did they spread they spread as per the hate of the prophet also to them at the time of sunset that's why there's hadith in the sound that the prophet saw says if your kids are playing outside you know they said during sunset let them go in you know take them in why because that's the time where the shayateen sort of you know they spread they spread at the time of sunset until after sunset then if you want to you know if they want to come out again they can but right at the time of sunset if your kids are outside bring them home bring them in so people have been talking about iblees where is he he is throne the prophet has reported you know in the very sound hadith which is in the muslim reported by jabba that uh is on water where what water what ocean [Music] but there are certain indications that could maybe tell us where his throne could be there's another hadith what it says in this is also in muslim and it's like a partition you know when you have the sweet water and the salty water you know whereby the sweet water does not merge with the salty water that's a bad zach that's a partition in this hadith he says he is on this burzaq his ash his throne is on this barzakh his throne is on this bazz again and uh and um somewhere in in in an ocean but now i want to bring something up here and this is again this in that book that book the interview with the iblees with shaitan with jin um have you heard of i'm sure you may have heard of this you know the um what is it called again the bermuda of triangle triangle bermuda triangle bermuda okay that's in [Music] in basically something in it's about it's a it's but what happens there i mean something that nobody could still explain up till today flat 19. have you heard of flight 19 that disappeared all these flights and ships that that disappeared the star aerial the the star tiger 1948
