I do love that interpretation but I think itβs just a creepy song humans sing as it goes with the general distrust and hatred they have of witchers. Also the lyrics include a soul being afraid of ghouls, hags and wraiths which I doubt would apply to an elder monsters youngens. The song is just awesome!

Well, it's more that Witchers are reviled by humankind just as much as actual monsters are, thus they sing scary songs about Witchers to their children. Especially given that Witchers can demand to take their children as trainees for their reward in certain circumstances.

The trailers and music were so epic.
