The Walking Dead What If Frank Darabont Was Not Fired?

hello and welcome back to another Walking Dead video and today we'll be talking about Frank darbon and what if Frank darbon was not fired in season 2 and what would the Walking Dead look like going forward from season 2 with Frank Daron still at the helm and one thing for sure is that the show would look completely different what we know about his plan for season 2 before he was fired and had all those budget issues is that he wanted to turn the walking dead into more advant Anthology show and his plan for season 2 was to give characters and focus on certain characters like Andre and Dale and talk about how they got to their point for season 2 so it a lot of flashback episodes one episode that we knew quite a lot about was the walker in the tank episode where it was going to focus on a completely new character and it'll be about the full of Atlanta and how that Walker ended up in the tank where Rick finds it in the first episode so season 2 would be be structured very differently you'd still have the farm story however you wouldn't have as many episodes about trying to find Sophia and as many episodes afterwards just redoing nothing I feel like you would just get the core story at the farm but you get all these offshoot episodes to develop these other characters and the next biggest change of season 2 Dale Wouldn't Die the whole reason Dale dies in season 2 is because the actor was upset that Frank Darabont was fired so be asked to leave so you would still have Dale going into season 3 I don't think the impact of Frank darabond on The Walking Dead with him staying around first of all you still have the smart Walkers that were in season 1 and season 2 those Walkers that can kind of climb lunge and use tools would not just disappear after season 2 and pair back up in season 11 you would still keep those smarter Walkers throughout the entire run of the walk and dead and the Walkers would definitely be a bigger threat unlike they are on the show where they kind of get forgotten about because they're just generic Walkers they don't have all these smart abilities so you would have these more dangerous Walkers if Frank darbon stayed and with you still having Dale in season 3 I do not think they would kill off Andrea the actor for Andrea Lorie Holden she revealed that she had like a contract for like 10 seasons something like that with Frank darabont's still around and with a lot of the people on the original cast being such close friends of Frank Darabont you would have a lot of characters like Dale and Andrea lives so much longer in his version of The Walking Dead he probably would have killed darl very similar to how he died in the comments cuz Frank darbon did stick to the comics when he was adapting them he would do a lot of offshoots and develop the universe more with all these kind of one-off episodes and you would definitely have a couple episodes each season which is just there to flesh out characters and just there to flesh out the universe but when he's actually I definitely think when he'll be actually doing the story it'll be similar to The Walking with a few changes here and there we definitely would lose darl about season 5 or about the hunter Arc whenever he would get to that and Andrea would be a lot like her Comic character and you wouldn't have the annoying Andrea season 3 she would live up until when if they do The Whisper rock probably or maybe a bit longer so that You' have that relationship with Rick and should be completely different Frank daron's Walking Dead would definitely have none of those stupid big shocker deaths kle Wouldn't Die you would have a couple deaths here and there however all the Des about the story Frank Daron is very different to all the other showrunners because he actually cares about the source material unlike half the showrunners and he actually cares about the story he's telling and not there for money things like Glenn who just didn't care about the source material and killed off characters just cuz he felt like it and gimple who just only cared about money he would be completely different to them and his version of The Walking Dead would be paced so much better he would be try and stretch out seasons and stretch out these arcs like the Savior Arc could be so much shorter because he's there trying to tell a compact story he is there for the art not the money he'd be a bit similar to Kang however he wouldn't be as safe as her cuz Angela Kang was just there for damage control in the final three seasons and she cared about the source material I definitely think Frank darbon will be able to do what Angela k wanted to do in those leg of Seasons follow the source materal he would probably still have a lot of the characters around with some new characters that he would have added in that would have been able to do it he would been able to make the ending a lot more like the comics I definitely think Frank Daron would have made the show in maybe eight to nine Seasons I definitely think he wouldn't have stretched out some of these arcs but I do think he would have added some new interesting plot lines and stories in these like nine Seasons that we would give him I do think that big counters like Rick would make it to the end because he wouldn't have killed off Carl and because it would be a shorter show even though it's 16 episodes still a season I think AMC would wrestle him up to 16 we would still have rck till the end I definitely do think that and a lot of things that kind of gimple messes up with would just never happen the show would be completely different because you don't have gimple doing gimple things and what he did in season seven and 8 it would be a very different show by the end of it Frank definitely would have diverted from the comics as we saw in season 1 and a bit in season he would have diverted and I definitely think these would have been very interesting plots they would actually be good unlike what Kang did with the Reapers it would be a very cool new idea with Frank and the Way season 2 was shaping up I definitely think all the other Seasons would had a similar premise you would have the main story and you have this Anthology type of episodes 2 deep diving into characters giving us flashbacks widening and developing the world we definitely would have got deep dives into all the villains and maybe you would have got the rise of the governor story and you would have got his Negan way sooner soon as he got to the Savior AR his Negan would be told some point there you wouldn't be waiting until years and years later and with the final Seasons it wouldn't be as big I definitely think he would keep the cast focused and small like in the comics and it wouldn't be like this character is over here this character is here this character is doing absolutely nothing basically Frank would be what Angela Kang wanted to be frank would have the free reign because he wouldn't been screwed by a previous showrunner like Kang and he definitely would have been able to end the walking on his terms unlike K Kang was planning for a season 12 and the show just got cancelled and season 11 was a combination of two or more seasons The Walking Dead under Frank Darabont would have ended when it needed to end and I do think it would have had a different ending because he does like to make little changes here and there but the big things would stay the same you would still have that same tone and that same vibe from season 1 the show be way more consistent you wouldn't have this big kind of roller coaster in consistency adaptation pacing the show would just be way better it could even be on the levels of Game of Thrones really if Frank darabond stayed in charge it would have gotten what gimple always wanted which was make The Walking Dead like Game of Thrones or in the same level I definitely think gimple was more of a hindrance and without gimple on the show the show would be so much more like the comics with a few new interesting stories new characters and it would have this weird split between main story with the comics and this secondary Anthology type of show the show would be split into two halves really that's what I think it would be like if Frank Deron was just never F but please tell me down below what do you think do you agree with me about my
