perhaps your steak skills aren't really on point and if you've spent the money on a quality piece of meat you really don't want to screw it up right reverse steering a steak for me is almost like cheating and if you don't have that skill level right now to perfectly execute a steak in a pan well then make sure to watch this video through because this is a foolproof way to cook any steak now let's go first of all you can do this with any steak but using a bone-in tomahawk ribeye like this is definitely going to be great this is so easy just a little bit of olive oil that's going to help the seasoning stick the one and only rosemary salt definitely recommend making this i'll put a link up in the corner right now for that recipe if you know you know really take the time and get this everywhere around all the edges both sides along the bone here sergeant gilbert in the house find the ground and get that everywhere as well now i'm going to insert the probe dead center boom now if you don't have a probe thermometer that's fine you can always just pull it out of the oven and stick a regular thermometer inside so now really simple on a wire rack we're just going to bake this at 275 degrees until it hits an internal temp of 120. the reason i'm pulling mine at 120 so i can give it a really hard sear get a super good crust on it and then baste it and by the end of that it's going to be a perfect medium rare all right here we are one hour later it's hit 120 internal now we're ready to search still very rare right now and that's what we want now we're going to turn a pan on super high heat let that get ripping hot open your windows disconnect your smoke alarm temporarily if you need to because it's going to be smoky okay now we're switching to a high smoke point oil i'm using avocado oil adding a little shallot to flavor that oil and just carefully lay that steak in just about 90 seconds and then do the other side now drop the heat all the way down and we're gonna add some crushed garlic and some unsalted butter wait till that butter starts to foam and then start basting oh yeah and now we'll add some fresh thyme another two three minutes of basting and it should be a beautiful medium rare give it a good five minute rest pour some more of those juices over typically you're gonna rest a big cut of meat like this a lot longer but because it came up to temperature in such a gentle manner just a few minutes and it's gonna be perfect now all we need to do is slice this off the bone here i'll probably hit the fridge with it today i don't know then we'll just take off this cap right here now all we need to do is slice and enjoy my friends holy lord this looks good cuts like butter oh the cap is my favorite part so that's what i'm slicing right now you see how beautiful it is oh my god what did i say oh oh my god hit it with the bone end my friends that is absolutely mouth-wateringly insanely delicious also please remember if you want this channel to do well remember to like share comment all that good stuff it tells youtube that i'm awesome and i'm i'm just well until next time my friends i hope that helps you know i love you anime
