The TRUTH about WD 40 vs Headlights!

hey what's up everybody okay so i just learned something wild something crazy that you can do with wd-40 so i've been having this crazy like haze over my headlights for like the longest time samantha decided to change my headlights but i was like i don't know what this is but it's crazy and i heard that you can solve that problem with w40 so that's what i'm fixing to try to do and i'm gonna try this with the paper towels i ain't using no fancy rack we're gonna see if we can do it the old school like out in the country way with paper towel and wd-40 this could be big guys so what i'm going to do is i'm going to spray the stuff lightly over that spot and see if it actually clears it up i think it's a myth but we're fixing to find out so a little history on this this is my 2011 toyota tacoma and the headlights are foggy on it they've been foggy for a while i don't know why i guess it's just part of the i don't know however that works but they've been foggy and i'm afraid to get pulled over because they're getting foggier samantha said i need to do this so instead of going to the hardware store and spending 15 bucks for a for a headlight restoration kit i figured i would just do it myself with some wd-40 holy cow check that out what before after check that out holy cow this can't be real no this can't work no way no way well that's pretty freaking that's ten times clearer it's just a little on the on the rack hold on we gotta do some more all right it didn't go through the rag so no i didn't get it on my truck see see all right let's try this spot right here all right dingy no way check that thing out it's like new again this is wild that's not bad right there fellas check that out right there versus that i never thought this would actually work but it's doing pretty good just for some w40 sitting on the the table in there all right so one thing i've noticed that the longer you scrub it the cleaner it gets it's hard to do with one hand and film at the same time but we're doing it guys the results on this are crazy so i only got my big camera to document this process the right way so this is this is crazy i'm gonna show you how we're gonna do the other one right now all right to explain this this is just wd-40 this is a piece of paper towel now look at look at these headlights all right hold on you know how foggy these things are the light really doesn't do it justice okay because this is the in the afternoon so the light's a little lower but look at that so i just got done doing the other headlight which turned out amazing now i'm gonna do this headlight i just showed it to you now we'll spray this on but i'm doing on towel first because wd-40 it's got a little solveness in it all right here we go all right i'm gonna start right here all right look at that look at that this is where i wiped it that's what was there that is wild absolutely wild i never thought this would work whoa it does work just gotta scrub it a little bit on some of this investigate this i told her it worked she didn't believe me i have pot roasts for him pot roast no way yeah thanks for the pot rest is it good i've never had i've never made it before that's really good it's got mushrooms in it but back to the headlights look at this look at this it's clean wow you want to do mine yours are brand new mine are like eight years old six seven whatever i still see something come on samantha don't ruin my my boat here i'm not through i'm not through uh polishing okay i'm just trying to keep him honest it does really work huh yeah that's way better than what it was yeah did you do the back ones since it's just the front okay when somebody told me about this i did not believe it i was like wd-40 i mean it works on fishing rails works on guns i tried those videos but on headlights this is a miracle stuff right here this is a miracle so there you have it that is like the coolest thing i have seen all day and they're pretty clean check this out i could keep scrubbing but they're good enough for me look at that one right there that is pretty cool cool it's good enough for government work right there oh yeah wd-40 all right guys that's all i got that was a cool trick i'm really glad i learned that trick comment down below if you've tried this before don't forget to like and subscribe and i'll see you guys next video probably tomorrow or the next day but i got shiny headlights all right here we go all right i'm gonna start right here wow that is crazy it's like new again
