Its interesting to see a solved case on Unsolved. I liked how respectfully this was done.

God I can’t wait to see what they choose for the absolutely final one

RIP Ryan - About to be killed by the Queen

All of these theories seem to rely pretty much entirely on “sure there’s no proof but the royal family are shady so it’s probably true”. Not saying they aren’t or anything, but this case sounds pretty open and shut.

There is no mystery here, the guys obviously know that, but I liked the episode anyway. I think it never hurts to remind people how much the royal family sucks, and how while they may have gotten better at PR nothing much has changed on the inside, and we're seeing that now with Harry and Meghan. I think it says a lot that Charles had to resort to finding someone as young and sheltered as Diana, who had no clue what she was getting into, to get married and produce an heir.

Charles said something WAY worse on that call than "I wish I lived in your knickers". I was dreading hearing it and I'm glad they decided not to go there.

I remember watching TV on that day as a kid. The BBC didn’t say a damn thing, but Nickelodeon had a sticker on the bottom of the screen saying - turn over to sky news for some sad news.

Even now, that seems bizarre. Who gave the OK to directing kids to one of the first 24 hour sensations, watching live footage of a tunnel entrance and somber news readers? Who decided ‘no Rugrats for the little ones today, they must grieve!’

Maybe English kids felt different, but as a little Scottish person it felt bizzare and uncomfortable for mass media to try and make us feel deeply for a rich stranger.

TBH I don’t really like how they got acted like it’s not at all possible the royal family could have used their power to hide it, and they also underplayed the paparazzi being at fault

Sort of 'eh' about this one. Diana died because she wasn't wearing a seatbelt. I don't really feel it's more complicated than that. Nor was she the saint the world wants to pretend she is. She did a lot of good things and loved her kids, but she also played a part in the failing of her marriage. PRobably far more than she let on to the media, that she knew how to manipulate.
