The story from the pilots.

I really wish they would have put the survivors' story over the video, like a narration. I am lucky enough to have heard this story and knew the context. It really did move me, such a wonderful animation, thank you.
I love the human factor and that even in war we can show camaraderie and mercy to the enemy. It's what makes peace and forgiveness possible.
LOOK THE RIGHT AND THEN LOOK AGAIN
AND SEE THE ENEMY IN THE EYE
NO BULLETS FLY, SPARED BY HIS MERCY
ESCORTED OUT, OUT OF HARMS WAY
I believe this story is also relevant here, Richard Peterson still seemingly pissed off about people shooting parachuters.
An absolute masterpiece, seems to be from a very small animation studio. Everyone should see this. It depicts a very moving story of camaraderie between enemies during ww2. I hope you enjoy.
Good share, thank you.
It’s so strange that the enemy was shooting to kill until he saw the actual humans inside the plane.
Had the first shots been more effective and immediately destroyed the plane, it would have been “mission accomplished”, but seeing the actual injured humans gave the enemy a change of heart.
War is old men talking and young men dying.
That was awesome. Really enjoyed it. Thanks
