The Secret to Catching Fish in Galveston Bay! ( catch clean cook)

[Music] [Music] what's up everybody welcome back to another mole man episode me and you good guest Joe everybody we're going down to Galveston to stay at his house me and mullet senior they grew up together they went to school together we just got out of the fishing show this guy talked me into buying a rod and I got a bunch of baits and stuff so it wasn't huge it wasn't as big as I was expecting it to be but we're gonna head down get a bite to eat we're gonna stop and get some waders and then he's got a house on on the beach so we're gonna get there and hopefully go fishing this evening before it gets dark hopefully doesn't right so we're at fishing tackle unlimited I've never been here before we're stopping here and get some waders all I have is duck hunting layers that's all my dad has too so we're stopping here and get some I guess they're like the thinner was it's like fly fishing waders and then some some booties for protect us from the stingrays what who got slashed last year so if I can find the picture I'll put it in the video but it is pretty nasty it barely nicked him and he had to go to hospital and everything so we're gonna get some waders and then head to Joe's house [Music] know what senior try them all well we came out of there few hundred dollars later but we are ready to go fishing so like we're stopping Bucky's get a bite to eat and then only like 20 30 minutes from from his house so we're gonna try to get down there and fish it is windy but I'm this glad that is not 30 degrees like it's been up in Central Texas the past couple days look at that flat boat that is sick so me and my dad are talking about going in on hats on a flat's boat leave it in the comments on what boat you think we should get because we don't know a whole lot about flats boats he has a bay but and I got a bass boat so we really want to get a flats boat that we can go out and just come down here once a month or something and redfish and fish for trout and flounder and stuff like that so leave in the comments what you guys think is the best flats boat out there and hopefully we get one Joe big time and this is awesome this is sick yeah blue wave heck yeah I want a little that's what I want right there guys I want a little flats boat like that a little 60 horse that got take a 50 horse but this is sweet I think I'm gonna do some fishing here tonight all these dogs have lights on them so far go fishing and I on kayak I'm being taking that baby out tonight [Music] well Joe jinxed us so this is the brand-new rod I just got at the show this so like it's 100 percent american-made all carbon fiber and just said on the way out he was like y'all slam it in a door see if it actually breaks and gotten hurt you only got to his house and I slammed it in the door I don't think it really I don't think it cracked it but it definitely a squished that cork in half we are about to load up get in the boat and we're not waiting today cuz we don't have that much time so we're just gonna get in and troll around see if we can't find a few fish for dinner couple of those chunks of it all of it is now we're gonna plate one on the other side you just close it but I come in right here yeah I mean at certain times hopefully we have some pads in the chapter we'll give that condition hopefully get some more fish so we have more Baker it's the magic wand this is one that got second place turnip it's not one go who won so so my dad comes down here all the time with his buddies and they had a tournament last time he was down here he but that claims he got second and Joe claims that he won so there's like four or five other guys so I'm sure there's a four or five other stories today that's the appropriate thing to do there lovely lau the owner of the place to win so you get to go back so that would at least let him feel like you that was appreciated [Music] well we didn't have to run too far made it to our first spot we're gonna drift a little while and see if we can't pick up a few fish but uh I got a fish on hold the camera that guy here absolutely just dropped my bait in the water oh wait till you see this fish Wow oh man we got raw oysters tonight that is a fish right there man I thought I had a fish dang it hey that'd have been cool though wouldn't it anyway we're gonna get to fishing I got the GoPro rolling we're gonna let that roll and hopefully we catch some dinner all right Joe's hooked up on the first fish what is it chowder head over it already what's the sizing on those guys 20 it's doesn't quite make that first fish guys thank you place color Joe's got the first place color finally small little flounder heck yeah so I don't think he's gonna make the cut but I love flounder I hope we catch some keepers lots of trout so I just switched to a gulp bait in first cast kind of keep her trail Hey yeah we got dinner boys we're gonna eat good night guys caught a little under throw him back keep fishing hopefully catch some ball keep us there you got dinner d14 baby all right see if he keeps it's gonna be a close one or more let senior said well he is 12 Papa would write called him know be a good play your daddy I want ketchup what you got mullet singer Oh big crowd yeah small red alright it's an under I'm put the camera down so I can good 14 not so late it's alright we are finally on another keeper and hopefully catch some more we're having tacos tonight at that y'all again Biggio flounders get smaller just a wee little lad gonna keep fishing we need a few more for some tapas mullet senior hook up again you might keep another trout man a child are active tonight so are the flounder we haven't caught to me your ads make with car to read that it's too small red that's all we've caught is getting out 15 I know that 14 I'm not that tall you I like to do what it is something different to cook oh yeah black dog first sheep says okay heck yeah I had a few people say they're delicious if you want to clean them I'll clean them don't film the Lord all right so we're wrapping it up about the head ain't clean fish yeah a few last cast and so we ended up switching over to Joe's brothers favorite bait and it's the gulp white shrimp he said that that is just his all-time go to bay any time of the year you can catch pretty much anything out here he goes laughing because he doesn't like to follow what his brother just playing Big Brother and acting like he he's too good to throw the baits at his little brother throwing something we're gonna head in and clean these fish up and then eat good [Music] [Music] [Music] it took us about three minutes to get back to this house so we're going to pull these traps up and see if we got any cramps not nothing yet nothing I'm not one either huh hopefully I love you in the morning those ribs just follow that follow that backbone down put a little flood take your fillet skin it take that meat run off the skin I got this knife at the show that I went to in Houston and it is super short it's pretty cheap to come in here and cut your ribs out and we're saving those scraps for crab traps but that is your that's your clean trap fly all right so this is a black drum I'm gonna do them on half shell Joe's brother Mike yeah Mike he said that this is his all-time favorite fish to eat catches him on that go white shrimp and this is the way to do it so [Music] it's all true get past those ribs come through and then we'll just work it down the ribs and that is your buck drum on the half-shell whew pin bones in here straight up take care ow oh we also did a see what it tastes like I've never none of us have ever tried to throw it out on the drum so see what she teaches I'm all the seasoning as well gonna make tacos out of these and I guess you see these by themselves so see you guys at the grill vices a cheese or feta cheese or anything like that when he's talking so we've got some Bucky's pepper jack and the idea of it I'm hoping is it'll just melt and then take a fork is laid in your tortilla and then put your fish all right I have only used the Traeger before yeah that'll work I've used a Trager one time before my brother-in-law has one and it's awesome I love it I won't want but this is a Memphis wood fire grill he has pellets in the back and he just plug it in to plug in the wall and he's got set for 250 so we're going to smoke our fish trout fillet wrapped up in foil and I sit there so the butter kind of melts and gets on every on each one come wait for the cheese cuz I think I don't think that's gonna take very long then you got your job on the half-shell let it do its thing and then checking in about 10-15 minutes hi guys it is ready we got some tortillas in here heating up got some rice got some beans and dad and Joe didn't believe in me but cheese it's just working out better than they would have done check out my cheese in there put a little better ice and some black beans and I'm gonna go with ciao to start off [Music] that looks delicious got the mullet man seasoning on there but we've got some with some green Mexican salsa ooh a little too much wrap it up see what it tastes like hello ma'am that is delicious that's so good I don't know about you but this grill is absolutely awesome I might try this throat real good I have a feeling it's gonna taste a lot like redfish throat butt [Music] tastes like redfish to me it's good definitely how to build definitely something to keep in not ways that's a good chunk of meat well we're gonna finish up eating there's an awesome day we got a lot done today in a short amount of time so I'm gonna wrap this video up here the next video will see me leaving this dock in a kayak and I'm gonna go fish the lights for trout reds and
