The REAL Reason We Went To Glamis

[Music] [Music] all right it's bright and early we've been up since 4:30 in the morning that's not normal for me or you really we are bound for glam right now we got the kids in the back we've got a caravan going on so Shane Shan papar and Hunter oh yeah I'm PJ so there's six of us headed to glamas right now so 5 and 1 half to 6 more hours good morning we're finally heading out it is 9 almost 9 we left just after 5: this morning I'm pretty tired stayed up late it took all night to get stuff loaded we got a long ways ahead of us but hopefully we can stay awake and make it there with no blown tires no tickets just hurry up and get there so we can blow these things up okay it's no longer dark it is 11:03 we have 2 hours till we get there what are you thinking so far I've just been sleeping the whole time starving starving I am so hungry and ready to go we've been dragging this sand rail all the way through Vegas traffic let's use it I would like to drive it that'd be nice eventually eventually all right well we will show you when we get there we're like 45 minutes away we're almost there it's been a good trip no tickets yet so we're just leaving Burger King and we'll see you guys there in just a minute well we've been driving forever it's been 9 hours it's been a long while but we're about there says 30 m and we'll be there so then we just got to get this stuff all unloaded and see if it still runs Vol wagons have been known to break down on the trailer without even getting touched so we'll see how this goes what about you guys you ready to get out of here Prett much unload you use the tow truck all right we came to glamas mainly for Merlin's birthday party but for the last couple of weeks you've heard us trash talking each other trying to get this figured out who had the best buggy we've decided that we're going to do a hill climb competition a drag race competition and a long and high jump competition we'll see if they all make it through there let the competition begin good job boys good job all right it's been quite a time since we got here I haven't videoed a lot but we've been working on all of them Jace lost an air cleaner we've got that handled Michelle's battery died mine was running terrible I think it's good it's ticking a little like Motor problems but we ain't worried about this much Landon's his is good mine's good PJs way to do some carb work on it it's uh it's about to go back together and see if it runs again oh yeah and then OD Dar he's sand or grinding rotors down or calipers cuz his paddles hit the calipers but we're winning this battle we're going to we're going to ride in the sand at some point while we're here in the next two days so that's the point I forgot about grading we got it here but he jumped it broke the motor mounts off of it so we got to do some uh work to the motor and get it welded back in and then I I think he's good to go again meanwhile all right evidently PJ is already broken down we'll go see if we can get him lots of fun it's loving the sand oh yeah oh yeah hold red out someone will have a hub we'll figure something out it was doing good though was it yeah it was it hanging in there I'm pretty sure that this will outrun my rail really oh yeah that wasn't even getting on at hard that was like half we're going to have to go for a ride tomorrow yeah hoy was it ripping though it was doing good it was keeping up up until it ripped the tire off I had to keep it up at first but it was keeping up I mean it made it to he had to go through stuff know all right you'll need to just keep this tire straight we'll just KN back well first one of seven one of seven we're all we're all going to get get a turn I think how's your buggy it's good it's it's good so far me and L got a oh thank you it's good good this thing is bad he you got you got freaking Sandrail people trying to show off for you after [Music] they well getting towed back it was fun while it lasted [Music] we might make like an hour without breaking something down I think we're going to give her a try we'll figure this out he'll be back doing again hanging in there [Music] PJ [Music] how was that how was it it was good but it didn't last very long so we got the parts laying on the shop floor to fix it did it hurt oh no we were stuck we were just trying to get going okay and the tire spun and then dropped like see in did you guys watch I was P I was trying to push a little bit and then it fell off like no stop all right so PJ stripped some lug studs out it's not a big deal we looked around trying to find lug studs and we found a guy that is going to bring us a whole new drum so we'll put a new drum on this thing and PJ will be back in business good as news so but we're going to leave PJ setting here I got to pull up and weld gr's go-kart back together he jumped it broke the motor mount so we got to fix that okay so as promised even though we're here at Glamis and it's still not painted we're painting it right now we got like probably 10 more minutes of daylight for the day but we're doing [Music] [Music] this Robbie L eat your heart out I mean it doesn't get much better just paint over the zip ties you know like all the things there's probably going to be overspray on stuff but it's [Music] fine boy going [Music] [Applause] how was it it was fun until it wasn't yeah tell we were screaming now we were going to die how far did you jump probably like 10 ft yeah you guys voted and the top boat was hot pink they didn't have hot pink pink at Walmart so pink is all we can do with some help from friends yeah she's beautiful like she's pink you can't see it very good cuz we're almost at of daylight but she looks good she's going to be bright and shiny tomorrow morning so a dude gave us all the parts we need to fix PJ's bu well Brad had an adapter we found a four lug Hub we're going to make him run again so put this thing together and he'll be back in business okay the brakes are different do we're going to have to steal the brakes the backing plate the backing plate on it yeah it's on it brakes were all there one of the Springs fell out but we can put it back in I'll uh which one you want to take off first that's impressive she's Hing she's got warm now just like that turbo on it oh there we go okay you set it back in that Rim okay is that you can set it down It Don't Fit we got drill the rim out what they're bigger yep all right well we're really close we just got to drill the rim out and we got it we'll find a drill bit and get it handled bingo all right that's it she's built all right it's morning there's C graters let's get this go-kart fixed let me show you what we did to graters last night they had some trouble should have rolled the windows up probably all right so we broke the motor out so we welded it all up put it back in we'll Bolt the motor in it and he should be good good to go all right we're just getting ready to go for a ride she went for her first little Drive good one you're doing it you're doing it first GE okay you're do just like like this you just roll back and forth okay there you go it's a sand dude go give a guas go go go go go yeah there you kiding you just got to remember that some speed is your friend in the sand this is not going to go over well I think I'm a professional possibly going to be a long day for Michelle and Volkswagen all right so Ruby is with us in Ruby and she's a brave gal because I don't know what I'm doing yes you do you're just going to send it I'm going to try all right we're ready Uncle Shane's is still okay jars Jeep's good Michelle's is still good so we're and PJs and Hunters oh PJ and Hunter are still ripping so theirs are good so we're down one currently and some other halves so we'll get there we'll get them running we'll go race them [Music] okay other news we just broke down again this time I think it might be fatal I'm not sure Joe said said that there's oil spurting out of the motor we got David here that pulled up that has a tow rope a brand new a brand new one and we get to use it for the very first time so he's going to tow us back into Camp because me and Ruby are in pain right now yes cuz we need to use the bathroom something fierce and and these little Hoops these whoops aren't helping at all yep they just reaffirm every time we go down what we have to do yes this is so funny we need to get the full experience well we made it back to camp and I'm headed straight to the bathroom what happened we sent it a little hard it happens your mom's an animal and she broke she is she went all crazy what happened here I got to the bathroom so that's really all that matters okay what happened to your buggy um well I was sending it with send it Ruby and and it just wouldn't send it didn't send anymore or what yeah so it was like it's always the whole time I've had it it was kind of like puttering the whole time but then like when we were on our way home it was just like losing like power yeah it was losing power and I had it down like I had it down to the ground start that [Music] L what that you blew it up you can shut it off is it that or is it all the fan and then Joe said the oil was leaking out of it I think the squirrel fell off the wheel it might have been cuz it was in first gear the whole time but he told me to keep it in first gear the whole time cuz I tried second and it died so I kept it in first two down all right Sean's roke down it's not good it's got a bent valve so they lost keeper that hit the piston and bend it so it's not good we're going to go try to find a head and see if we can find parts to fix this thing let's see what we got Jace's we figured out it melded aead on it and it's venting so it's not good either all right we're going to run down to Joe's Fab shop see if he's got Volkswagen parts down there and then uh see if we're going to fix this or if we're not fixing it yeah it's a toss up right now if we want him to have parts or not so we don't know all right we made a trip to Glamis Fab we'll see if they happen to have some parts so we struck out but we got some numbers we got to see what we even want to do with this and we'll figure it out we may go pull Jace's head off take his valve out and put it in your head and make that work we're we'll see how ambitious we feel well Sean what's the what's the outlook here well no new parts that's fitting for us really we need to look at the back side so we're thinking that if the backside is half decent and there's no hole in the Piston we might be able to straighten this with a hammer and some wood and make it just good enough that we can go out and whip hunter in a race that's all it really needs to happen one of us me or sea has got to beat Hunter last night we should have done the race we should have we should have done it mine was running pretty good yesterday the longer it went the worse it got running today so you want me to be Hunter on my dirt bike you may have too I may have to just take the tow truck and run him in there then we can do it so they tear this thing apart and we'll show you what's going [Music] on [Music] competition for this competition if we keep going at it like this we were having fun got JD hooked up we'll uh back out of here so J doesn't have one I don't have one Sean will have one by the time we get back but who else mine's still good Hunter is good PJ's is good all right so new development Landon he blew his up so I may win this drag race today if all goes well mine's mine still runs Hunter still runs we're going to see who's in this drag race when we get back to camp and we'll see how it goes I said one more yeah you can't you can't say one more all right dar's going to that was your good one it was it was 5 minutes ago now it's not it's probably a good thing we're going home tomorrow cuz the tow truck's going to be the only thing left running at another one bites the dust I said we need to get back to camp now so far hunters and mine still run we're going to do this drag race and Sean's is work he's working on SE Sean is working on his right now and we're Dragon JDs and wheeel break I was over for sure so we saved it tomorrow we still got how many more content two we got the jump on to tomorrow still y so I'm driving the tow truck currently and this is going to be my very first tow job Jace rode this little little motorcycle over here and doesn't want to ride it back because it was kind of uncomfortable so we're Towing at home hopefully it makes it we'll see how good of a tow truck driver I am for my first tow I think I did pretty good pretty good so the the motorcycle's back and it's not broken so I did a good job all right so it's Saturday here Merlin's getting ready to give his uh voltswagon away there is some people here climb up on the trailer so you guys can see but there is people as far as you can see 15 nuts that people come out here to see us we appreciate it thank you very much the number 8961 78 that's Che freaking Joe Joel just want it that's pretty cool that is pretty cool all right things are uh happening here we're about ready to go out for our final competition we're going to go do a little jumping and then it's time to load up and head home but the day that it's beautiful out here I kind of want to stay longer yeah it's pretty nice can we maybe might have to if we break down I mean so we're going to get this all we'll get everything fueled up and we'll go for it all right so this is the jump portion of our competition we found a little Dune here we can jump DP so it's going to be the best out of three and we're going for height and distance we'll see how I got a feeling Hunter I feel like you're not going to get three jumps out of these I'm the judge I just want you to know I'm the official judge I just made myself official perfect I love it we need an official judge all right it's a it's a done deal okay we're going to see how this turns out okay so I gave it a little test shot it's not good this buggy doesn't jump for beans smells like oil for some reason guess I'm not worried about that but uh the hill climb competition kind of ruined everybody's stuff so Landon was dominating the hill climb portion of this we were at OS mobile Hill he was ripping it the old paddles doing are good he went up everywhere this one clumb but his was way better so basically I think I've run won the drag race Landon won the hill climb portion and I feel like Hunter's probably going to beat me in this I'm going to try it we'll see what happens you want to go first I'll go first all right me Lu oh my God [Applause] that wasn't great it wasn't terrible so we'll see all right JD one out of 10 one out of 10 that was about a eight I'd go with an eight that was an [Music] eight We Roll We Roll all right they gave me the thumbs up here comes Hunter oh stuck we'll get the camera out we'll get it we'll get a angle of Hunter oh my God oh what was that one I go with a 10 on that one uh he landed sideways there so if he's not broken holy how did you not break something right there how is that not broken I don't know was it good it was good your camera's a little tilted that was pretty good all right well uh we've got a couple more I think all right is is Sean going he said no but I told him just break it why not is it all right JD gave Paul an eight out of 10 and he gave Hunter a 10 out of 10 let's go hunter is in the lead so [Music] far w [Music] [Music] all right that didn't go great good job TJ here we okay it second was probably a nine too so all right one more round I don't think there's any reason for me to jump again I think you've beaten me I used should be done so I have to be done yeah I don't think there's any reason for me to jump more no I think we're done but I feel like the champion should go one more they are goting you into it one more time Hunter Grand Finale hey remember what probably a seven his first jump over there was actually better than the one right here here yeah it was we're still at 10 for both hun well Hunters that was pretty epic though and this last one was Paul distance he's definitely got the T the the the whole thing but style I think Hunter still got him on the side Hunter wins I don't know it's a tie if you ask me the judge says it's a tie so basically we're going to have to throw this to the audience yep you guys are going to have to tell us did Hunter or me or PJ win this jump competition so that was second gear you hit second that was second all she had right there and I thought honestly I was going to Endo I thought I was going to Endo it all right let's go load these things and go for Utah hey Hunter how fun pushing yours to Camp we'll get the tow truck all right just for the record my weld held it broke the bolt so not my weld so just for the info [Music] all right this is the priz hunter paid to win it was worth it right there it was worth it you know it I show you my butt but he took he took the W well you guys can decide but I'm pretty sure that amount of effort deserves win so we're just getting loaded up we got to pick this up stack it up there it's going to be a lot of work and we'll get home we back all right glamas 2024 that's a wrap done thank you guys to everyone that stopped by and talk to us it's awesome
