[Music] foreign back to the real boxing I love my little influence I know thank you KSI and all the boys but gotta talk some pro boxing now we gotta talk Anthony Joshua where does he go from here I said after he lost the first fight well actually you know if we want to get really accurate I said before the first music fight he was going to lose a decision and I actually thought he'd be stopped in the second fight so credit Doom that didn't happen but he did lose then narrative is so all over the place with Anthony Joshua because Anthony Joshua is so loved but whenever you're loved you're also here people love to hate a successful guy the guy is handsome he's got every [ __ ] thing any man could want in life people love to see someone fall and what I want to do is bring a little bit of level-headedness to this scenario I've heard big friends and fans of AJ saying oh he dominated periods and I say oh the fight was level going into the tenth round and all all of this I've heard a lot of people saying oh he was always [ __ ] he was always terrible he was never the champ yeah neither of those are true the reality years Alexander yusick is was and always will be on a different level as a boxer than Anthony Joshua if you re-watch that fight a lot of the people that were there in the arena thought it was close because they were getting all emotional carried away watch that fight again you will see You've Won about three rounds some would say two some might say four but you're being generous you could say four if you literally are friends and love Anthony Joshua you might say more than that and if you've been paid off as one of the judges probably was you may give it to Anthony Joshua I still cannot believe they found a judge who was willing to do that they were about a Rob you're sick and broad daylight thankfully a couple of Judges had their [ __ ] eyeballs working that night he has the problem right Alexander yusuke is he a terrible stylistic matchup for Anthony Joshua in order for Anthony Joshua to hurt you he has to hit you in order for him to hit you clean you have to stand still Alexander usick does not stand still AJ would have a better chance against Tyson Fury theory if you look at Fury Fury does stand still Fury does get caught as Deontay Wilde approved like I'm not saying that means you sick is is better than Fury we'll get into that in another video I'm just saying music is a nightmare matchup for AJ AJ was never going to win that fight if you gave him [ __ ] 50 rounds with using we could run this back another three times it's the same [ __ ] thing every time there's one major reason why AJ can't beat usick and it's the mental side of boxing I'm not saying AJ is mentally weak he certainly isn't you don't become heavyweight champion of the world by being a weak-minded man but he isn't as strong as the others are at that level if you look at Fury and what he was willing to do to beat Johnny Wilder another level if you look at Deontay Wilder and what he was willing to do to even have a prayer a beaten Fury I mean he was willing to die in there and whenever you see you second in those Championship rounds where it looks like there may be some tiredness creeping in he just switches gears and it and he blows you out the water he is willing to dig as deep as it takes to get that [ __ ] Bell another level when you look at Anthony Joshua against Andy Ruiz in the first fight when it was time to dig deep when it was time to are you willing to [ __ ] die for these belts he's in the corner shaking his head not there doesn't want to be there that was when the referee was asking him are you ready to fight did not show that and in the second fight yeah he won but he certainly wanted nothing to do with the hands of Ruiz he was gonna oh box him get the [ __ ] up out of there he did not put pressure on Ruiz the way you sick put pressure on AJ get back AJ that's all it was about and you see that lack of mental confidence in Egypt when he is about to fight you sick the first time and he's asking the security guard what do you reckon of this guy what do you reckon I should do in the run-up to the USIC fight you had uh the guy Spencer Oliver on talksport saying how he's in a group chat with AJ from the boxing club and that AJ was saying like what do you do and you know and Spence all of us saying you should do this and should do that I'm like I'm hearing that before the fight I'm like you're definitely losing because if your new coach has not got it in you that he is the only man you listen to and you do exactly what he [ __ ] says and you're asking the Geezer on talksport what you should be doing in the group chat there ain't no way you have the level of confidence needed the knowing what you should do not the asking and what the insecurities of AJ are there for everyone to say at this stage do you think Dyson Fury's [ __ ] in a group chat asking on the WhatsApp what the [ __ ] you should do before [ __ ] world title fight I [ __ ] doubt it I remember interviewing Tyson Fury and he said there's nothing anyone told me about boxing and at this stage in AJ's career as a veteran a man with 11 World title fights or whatever it is at this stage he shouldn't be asking especially not the guy of talksport no offense but like this is the same guy who was saying he was out boxing him after the fight and it's like mate there's just enough yes men out there for this guy right now and um I know he did out of the love for AJ and I respect that he's watched this guy grow up bullshitting him at this point you know what I mean like it was clear as day what was going to happen there's only one way you beat Alexander yousik you get in there and you [ __ ] hurt him and you could tell by the sixth run that wasn't happening it was the same [ __ ] as last time why because Anthony Joshua did not want to risk getting knocked out that is it he doesn't want to be knocked out and unfortunately it's like the scene in Batman right go with me go trust me on this and sound like a crazy person listen you know what he's got to jump from one thing to another and he keeps doing it with the Rope because he's scared but it's the Rope that's holding him back and that's Anthony Joshua's insecurities you need to cut the rope you need to risk your [ __ ] life because without that you ain't getting to the other side you don't outbox a music and he tried to do the same thing again I'm frustrated because if Anthony Joshua had that one component that Deontay Wilder has he may be Champion do you know what I mean because he's got the physical attributes and they were and the people don't say this fight accurately because they look at that one round where it looked like AJ had you second trouble you watch it back in slow-mo you see that he barely was Landing he was missing four five shots to for every 60 through music was in no trouble at all and that's why in the next [ __ ] round he's like yeah it's my turn now [ __ ] so where are we at now with AJ what is he well he's a top five heavyweight in the world he's still great I I still think he's improved a lot I mean if you look at him in his first few fights then now for a big man the the skills that he's acquired the footwork harm position all of these things that he looked good in that fight against seasick it wasn't although Yusuf dominated it wasn't like he looked bad you know what I mean like you you've done 24 rounds with music you're not a [ __ ] poxa that's just not the truth he's just not quite there but he's still gonna rip the [ __ ] heads off of most of these guys uh heavyweight the issue now is you've just signed a massive contract with the Zone you've got a lot of fights left how on Earth do you get your way back to the Belt crushing a few guys will help that it's not it's not the way forward in terms of long-term progress but mentally short term that will make him feel like a killer again if he goes in there against dillian white which is what Eddie Hearn has mentioned I think he beats dillian white and that will give him a lot of confidence then give him the Dion airwilder fight the fight with Dion airwilder for me is one that they should make it is a [ __ ] such an exciting fight man I'm I I can't wait for that but if it's ever going to happen you'd think now when they they both have been knocked out of this title picture it's the perfect time is Anthony Joshua better at almost everything than Deontay Wilder absolutely but Wilder has two things that make him a nightmare for AJ in my opinion and that's confidence and the power when they're trading it's that is going to be the test of AJ can you [ __ ] handle this are you how bad do you want it is really what it comes down to and against music he didn't want it bad enough but that can come I remember when Mike Bisping got knocked out by Dan Henderson and this is an exception of the rule don't get us wrong most people get knocked out or beaten up the way Ruiz beat up AJ it never comes back if I'm being honest but with this thing it did come back and it came back stronger than ever and he became a bigger Warrior more of an animal where he would just dig deep and showed that he had the chin and the Heart of a Lion a conversation with Whispering might Doom the world of good for example but you know ultimately it's got to come from within I think the wake-up call should have came a while ago that being said if he can overcome Deontay Wilder and overcome a dillian white then we might see that eye of the tiger that he needs in order to get in there with the USIC or Tyson Fury and overcome it or at least give the best possible showing and he has to do that for his own sake not for not for winning the belt for regret because when he's an old man he's going to wish why didn't I just [ __ ] go for it so what you get knocked out how many great fighters in the history of boxing have been knocked out you know we're always banging on about Muhammad Ali Mike Tyson Lennox Lewis they all got hurt but that was almost part of the Legacy that's what made them you know that's why people bang on about fury because yeah he got dropped by well he got back up kept going I remember Teddy Atlas giving and Italy I think it was on The Joe Rogan podcast where he said you know what what is my Tyson's record 60 and five let's say something like that well it's really oh and five and Joe Rogan's like what do you mean he said well every time there was a real resistance there a real fight where the other guy wasn't just allowing him to do what he wanted he lost now I'm not saying that's the case with AJ because there has been resistance at times for example Klitschko and he did dig deep and he did get it done but you don't want to look back at your career in the way that Teddy Atlas described my Tyson's career not that I agree with that completely but you get the point fighting isn't just about winning I just wanted to put a bit of perspective on it I think I've heard a lot of silliness about this you know it AJ's people over compensating for what in the AJ saying he did great in the fight are you dominated periods of it oh you're winning a part no he wasn't but that doesn't mean he's [ __ ] either but there's a long way back and it starts inside here and right now I am not seeing him making the steps to to make that happen I still see the corner for example in the last in the first fight brilliant AJ brilliant it a load of [ __ ] they were lying to him right and you see the new trainer he got in lying to him saying oh you're winning every round yeah [ __ ] I don't know why they feel the need to tell AJ it's going great when it's not you're lying them why do they need to do this is it something to do with the fact that AJ is a squad full of people wearing [ __ ] Under Armor behind them at Old Times buttering up his ego trying to make him feel like everything's great or whatever I don't know but you don't win titles by being a lie to the people around him again may need to change but the thing that he has is the thing that you can't you can't buy and that's the talent that's the ability and he has it all there it's just how bad does he want it look I've rambled enough I hope you appreciate where I'm coming from here I want to see the best of AJ I want to see Wilder versus AJ let us know what you think in the comments below thanks for watching don't forget to subscribe to True Geordie extra and I'll see you later [Music]
