The Presidents Play: Fallout New Vegas - 1

it's time boys I've been really excited to start this play through yeah it looked pretty cool from the stuff you showed us Fallout is a beloved franchise and you'll see why New Vegas is considered to be the best one by many people if you're such a Fallout Fanboy why were you okay with us voting me to do the playthrough even though I have never played New Vegas I know the premise of it so I figured I could play it at home if I really want plus I know how bad you are at video games so this should be great wrong I am the best at video games you just wouldn't know it because I have more important things to do like going to court real funny Joe you'll see what I've been up to in our next debate are you two actually doing that yeah I told him anytime any place well this should be a nice getaway from all that stuff you'll like this Donald I know you love to gamble a nice getaway from Ben's D and D sessions the last session stressed me the hell out so what difficulty are you going to be Mr House sounds like a smart man you are a courier I like his robed by the Mojave Express to deliver a package to the New Vegas Strip what seemed like a simple delivery job has taken a turn for the worse you got what you were after so pay up you're crying in the rain P guess who's waking up over here wait a second is this the grave site from earlier time to cash out will you get it over with maybe cons kill people without looking them in the face but I ain't a thinkink dig that guy on the right looks crazy you've made your last deliver would you two be quiet sorry you got twisted up in this scene from where you're kneeling must seem like an 18 karat run of bad luck truth is the game was rigged from the start man that line is so good not too bad you guys kept talking through the intro so we die yeah is the playthrough over don't worry you'll see what's all this crap oh yeah that's the DLC stuff just click through it Jesus man why is there so much of it you're awake how about so out of anything I could be doing in post-apocalypse Vegas I chose to be a mailman well you can play however you want but that is your backstory yeah you should be like a cool Cowboy or something Donnie yeah a cowboy would be badass i' you could just stay as a mailman if you want though yeah I'll stick with the cowboy Goodings now I hope if you don't mind but I had to go rooting around there in your Noggin to pull all the bits of lead out I take pride in my needle work but you'd better tell me if I left anything out of place how'd I do oh here we go boys I'm going to make an absolute Adonis I'm going to go raid your fridge while you spend 20 years making a character well what do you guys think he's he's he he's beautiful wow Donnie how did you manage to do something like that I told you I'm great at games you didn't use a tutorial did you don't be ridiculous why would I need one of those were you watching him while I was getting some snacks Joe H did he have a YouTube video on some lady was talking I don't know what she was yapping about though jaw sliders something like that Joe let's seeit can get you on your feet did the tutorial also tell you to use the must called ladies man good I just tried to make it as accurate to myself as possible over by that Vigor tester machine there take it slow now it ain't a race all right Ladies Man here's where you get to pick your stats for this part I can help you get good ones for a cowboy build you have strength perception endurance Charisma agility intelligence and luck we'll learn what needs to be the highest for a cowboy the one that matters the most for that is agility and the rest we can mix up to change how good of a cowboy you are sweet let's do this I still think one Charisma is a bit ridiculous Barry I think you having eight intelligence is even more crazy enough you too trust me Donald Charisma is really unimportant in this game and if you're a badass Cowboy why talk your way out of things when you have your big eye must be some frontal lobe damage wow Donnie the doc just called you a weirdo pretty much maybe we should teach him some manners good thinking Joe we'll have to start a [ __ ] list for people that piss us off well hold on you too you don't want to just go around town blasting everyone who makes a comment on you this is the wild Westberry of course we should you do that and everyone is going to have it out for you I'm going to say let try I want you to say the first thing that comes to mind dog what is this supposed to be it's like a test to determine what skills you have but you can pick custom ones if you don't like what it gives you I'm more of a dog person house investment there we go Knight how does something like this determine what his skills will be yeah these don't seem very insightful I'm sure there's some kind of science behind it but I'm not sure either land [Music] it vapor guys what the hell is going on in this game I mean this is a postnuclear Time surely vaporizing isn't the weirdest thing that you'll see in this game light mother okay now this is weird why would I correlate my mom to a human shield don't ask me Donnie it's your test what happens if you fail it it's not that kind of test Joe I think you should pick the cookie jar I'll take it into consideration okay now I got a few statements I want you to tell me how much they sound like something you'd say first one conflict just ain't in my nature is this part of the test to see his skills again yeah this is the same thing just pick what you think fits you best Donnie I ain't given to relying on others for support given I'm playing a cowboy and have terrible Charisma I'll try to stick along those lines I'm always fixing to be the center of attention there you go embrace the character you're playing just don't get too gung-ho once we leave this place Joe and I's [ __ ] list will be very specific can you collect Bounties in this game I'm slow to embrace new ideas not sure really I've only seen gaml on the character creation portion of the game that's why I know what this part is and what some of the perks do I charge in to deal with my problems head on almost done here what do you say you have a look at this tell me what you see [Music] I don't think any of these are that accurate really yeah I guess the chain kind of makes sense the others not so much I'll just go with this one okay how about this one too embarrassed to say what oh I get it last one W yeah this one is pretty obvious well that's all she wrote I don't have nothing to compare it to so maybe you'd better just have a look at the results okay Donnie see if it all seems for this part a guide may help you need certain skills to use specific guns in this game so just unselect them and we'll check it out real quick you sure about raising melee I'm using a gun it said that some guns require a specific melee stat so the quicker we can raise it the quicker we can ignore it before I Turn You Loose I need one more thing from you we got a form for you to fill out so I can get a sense of your medical history just a formality ain't like I expect to find you got a family history of getting shot in a head whoa what's all this stuff the guide mentioned it these are like perks that change how we can play the game thanks for picking wild Wasteland Donnie just look how cool that dog is well I just hope that guy wasn't lying about being able to pick skill twice to get double the benefits if it works it'll be a big help before we go let's see what he has around this place take all the stim packs and rad X you can find we'll need it for healing and ammo too oh hell yeah a free gun man this guy doesn't really have much here huh well no but take those bottle caps on the Shelf call it a Pip Boy I grew up in one of them vaults he made before the war we all got one ain't much used to me now but you might want such a thing after what you've been through I know what it's like having something taken from you and put this on too so the locals don't pick on you for lacking modesty never was much my style anyway maybe the doctor isn't that bad of a guy yeah he did call me weird earlier though so he's on thin ice before you leave town she can help you learn to fend for yourself in the desert she'll likely be at the saloon I reckon some of the other folks at the saloon might be able to help you out too and the metal fell Victor who pulled you out of your grave anyway you ever get hurt out there you come right back I'll fix you up but try not to get killed anymore looks like we should go find sunny and Victor we can find out whoever that was that tried to kill us are you doing hardcore mode I really wouldn't recommend that Donnie it seems way too tedious screw us now I hunt geckos mostly the meat's pretty good and I can always find a buyer for the hides I also help keep the town clear of rad scorpions and coyotes not many people live in good Springs so Wildlife is always creeping in yeah I guess there's a thing or two I could show you sounds like you need all the help you can get after what they done to you meet me outside behind the saloon Donald favorite I'd have to go with the scene where they're cornered on a bridge by mola RAM and a bunch of cultists when Indie cut the bridge it was so cool to see the fight as they were all dangling okay I'll explain why your opinions are trash in a second what the [ __ ] are those things you weren't here when Joe killed some of them they're geckos it's okay they're not that scary Don don't take that as me being scared but anyway back to Indiana Jones literally every scene you guys talked about was full of crappy CGI and was beyond unrealistic does that include the CGI Gophers those most of all wow what's going on with that gecko he's lost the will to even try to kill me at this point he's in love with an emo girl the Miss shots tracker is rapidly Rising yeah well I got a present for this little [Music] [ __ ] so about your CGI comment this comes from the guy who insists how amazing The Mummy was what Joe liked it too yeah I love the rock Donald that movie has gone down in history because of how bad the CGI was what scene you really need me to tell you here look oh uh I forgot about that scene gosh the rock is so cool that's not the point Joe the point is that Donald likes CGI yeah I'm questioning those too now come on horror games would be awesome just as long as they aren't some crappy ones hey crappy horror games have their own charm those developers can be real creative hey there hi there sticking around good springs for a while longer sure can take the road NCR patrols do a good job of keeping the highway clear but I'd keep your gun where you can reach it easily you never know who you'll run into off the road you'll probably start running into hostile Wildlife my advice would be to stick to the Highway when you can until next time I'm what's going on here I don't him that's not our way even if Cobb is scum he can Bluster and threaten all he wants he's holed up at the abandoned gas station up the hill well now we know where to find Ringo I remember seeing the gas station earlier some of the others like Sunny will probably stand up for Ringo if he asks for help which he hasn't personally I hope he sneaks out of town one night and takes the powder gangers with him Chang gangs really the NCR brought them in from California to work on the problem is it turns out that giving convicts a bunch of dynamite and Blasting powder isn't the best idea was a big Escape not too long ago some of them stuck together so they could make trouble that's what we're dealing with now you're telling me this town pissed off a group of prisoners strapped with TNT that's what it seems like not much other than there a bunch of freeloaders who expected a few rounds on the house I was able to get them to pay up though of course one of the great cons did knock my radio to the floor by accident they were having some kind of argument about it but the guy in the checkered coat kept shushing them sounded like they came in from the north through Cory Junction if that's the case I can't say I blame them for not want to go back that whole area is overrun with the kind of Critters that just get mad if you shoot them Merchants avoid that whole stretch of I15 like it's radioactive which it could be for all I know I didn't hear exactly but the leader was talking about the strip fella wants to get there and avoid the 15 he'd have to go East take Highway 93 up sounds like we just found a quick way to Vegas she said it's full of creepy crawlies though we have guns Joe I cleaned off my controller so we should have no more issues looks okay but I think something broke on the inside there'd be caps in it for you I do like to hear what's going on in the boom baby let's fix this thing and get paid oh we got our first level up nice let me even out this repair stat then I'll put the rest into guns I guess more perks too awesome that one looks pretty strong I agree we should take the XP one looks like it's probably the best option here if it isn't I'm sure the comments will call us out for it let's check out that radio now easiest money I've ever made feeling thirsty yeah I heard it turn right back on after you got 50 caps bro what that's some bull it's
