Weird coincidence: I was talking to my dad last night and telling him how I've become rather obsessed with Westerns, and asked for his favorite. This was it, and the only one of dozens we discussed that I hadn't seen. Renting it as we speak.
My favorite scene in this movie is when the snake oil salesman approaches Eastwood and tries to sell his tonic and Eastwood spits tobacco on his white suit jacket and asks if it works on stains.
I love all of the Leon and Corbucci spaghetti westerns and Unforgiven is my favorite movie of all time, but for some reason I just have never become a fan of this movie, after several rewatches too. Can’t explain why but it never grabbed me at all and I dont like any of the secondary characters.
