welcome to the nintendo room 2020 room tour edition hey nintendo fans and collectors lithium here from my channel nintendo collecting i've been a collector now for over a decade for roughly 12 years i actually grew up on the sega genesis loved sonic back in the day still do today but all of my friends would have nintendo systems and my cousin would as well and i would go to their place and basically have the time of my life playing nintendo games so then roughly i would say in 1998 i bought a nintendo 64 with saved up birthday money and then slowly but surely this happened now why did it get this ridiculous in this 500 plus square foot room and there is a side room behind that secret door which i will show you obviously at some point sometime soon this got a little bit ridiculous for a few things i think i want to re-buy back my childhood of all those great gaming experiences i either had at my friend's house or that i grew up with i was one of those kids who would sometimes trade in my games to try and get the new system but then eventually i started to regret that and buy back all of my games so when i was in college i decided i want to get all the super nintendo games that i missed out on i never had a super nintendo i started on the n64 and then gamecube loved the gamecube and then the wii the wii u and the switch so that's what happened and basically got me kickstarted with collecting and just trying to get all those great games so this room tour i updated the display for the games that's one of the main things the side room i will show off as well and there's tons of other minor little changes throughout the room to make it look even better for this year you might notice some different posters and as well as coming down the hallway which i'll show down the staircase in a second if you have any questions whatsoever obviously feel free to comment below i'll try and read as many as possible just do me a favor and put the actual question mark if you're asking a question that way i can search it and try and find it i do have a collecting tip series called collecting tips 101 that is 101 videos of how you can start your own collection on a budget that i would recommend you check out there's a link in the top right hand corner i started that series over five years ago and i do want to update it again at some point if i can help it what is included in this room well first of all i can tell you that i've got a poke wall with the entire pokemon handheld collection and every single plush for the original generation one and other knickknacks as well then i have a mario wall featuring most of the main mario game series which is back there i also have a super smash brothers wall featuring all the amiibo which i will get to later in the video over here and then i have a legend of zelda wall here with my zelda collection because it's one of my favorite series of all time the other little section piece that i have is a mario kart a real working mario kart it's a lot better for children so if i have a my nephew come over or anyone else that's younger they love that mario kart and i have some posters up for mario kart as well also in this room just to give you an overview continuation i have the series of systems from nintendo in order from the nes to the super nintendo then all the variations for the nintendo 64. and a lot of different variations for the nintendo gamecube which gets a lot of my love right now in terms of collecting and then the wii collection and the wii u handheld is here separating kind of the wii u to the nintendo switch virtual boy box right there and then the nintendo switch collection is here which has been changed dramatically since the last room tour i also collect nintendo power magazines i am missing one magazine but because of time i haven't been able to go through them recently yet because everything just got busy in life so i love collecting nintendo power magazines i also designed some tables so you'll see tables throughout this video like this nes coffee table there's one for nintendo 64 and gamecube over there i also have a wii remote table right here and even a pokeball table over there and it's definitely time that i just show a brief glimpse of what the side room looks like in terms of the beginning of the video check out this sound bite for my secret door and this billy bookcase i do have a video up about this as well that's wicked so just to give you an overview of this side room and then i'll go through everything in detail after that so this is my sealed amiibo collection over here as well as my world of nintendo items that are just either duplicates or anything like that this side room i've been slowly finishing off but i haven't quite got around to it yet and then over here i've got my clothes for nintendo that's included in this video that's never been in a room tour before my sealed other figurines my sega genesis collection from my childhood my uncle's in television collection as well as a lot of my other doubles and my nes coffee table the old one that i used to have a lot of boxes for storage some of the board games a zelda collection and all of my pokemon cards because i really want to have a space for that too the super nintendo table is right here it's something that i've been working on i'm not done it yet so i do have to finish this off these buttons aren't even down yet they're just kind of sitting here on the table for now but i really wanted to show it off in the video just that i've been working on it i just i just ran out of time okay so let's get back into the room and let's start doing the entire room tour going piece by piece but i think i'm going to start with something that you guys have never seen before in a room tour which is the staircase down into the nintendo room with all the posters my nintendo room is in the basement i'm really fortunate to have a wife that supports my hobby and she also likes collecting and gaming on nintendo systems as well she's the one who likes pokemon way more than i do in terms of gaming and really has just a knack for gaming and we love the hobby together so as you open the door to the basements everything we have nintendo is located in the basement if you were on our main floor you couldn't even tell at all that we have a nintendo collection so i have some posters here that i put up just for this room tour to update it so we have a legend of zelda 25th anniversary poster and a twilight princess poster a lot of people love twilight it doesn't get enough love as much anymore especially with breath of the wild being so good then we have a skyward sword poster up here below that i have a super mario poster most of these by the way are from the club nintendo poster series so it's really cool that i was able to finally put these up and then we have a donkey kong and diddy kong poster that i really like as well the final poster in this space is one from the original donkey kong game so this is one of my favorites i just love the way this looks on the black back and it really just pops out i really wish this could be under a certain light to make it look even better but that's really neat and then thanks so much everyone this year we surpassed 100 000 subscribers if you're not a subscriber of the channel feel free to subscribe and that would be great to support the video and the channel i try and post videos on wednesdays and sundays if i can at 10 eastern time this year we also added cats so we got two cats basically during this time of year this one's named evie she's not supposed to come downstairs and i also have zelda who are just both named after nintendo characters i named zelda and my wife named evie that's how much of a nintendo nerd that we are beside the donkey kong coaster is a donkey kong country poster all three of them actually the trilogy these are from nintendo power magazine one collecting tip i can give you is that nintendo power magazines sometimes you can still find those for really cheap you might be able to find an issue for five dollars or less and there's some issues that have great posters in them there used to be a list available online of all the posters in nintendo powers if you can find that list because it was taken down from somewhere maybe it's still possible that you find it on reddit or something like that you can probably get a poster for under a few dollars and put it up in your room just the size of them is kind of really strange it's like a 10 and a half to 11 or 9 inches actually by i think 23 so it's hard to find a poster for that hey evie nintendo cats are amazing this one has a little mohawk you can see right there and zelda's nowhere to be found right now but maybe later in the video all right i'm going to continue and now i'm going to go through all of my systems in the box to start all the box systems we have nes on the right then super nintendo on the left they're both on billy bookcases that i modified to be pivoting so they can open up on this secret door and they also are on wheels so it's a kind of a smooth process so first of all nintendo started their home consoles with the famicom the family computer system right here that you see displayed with two controllers then north america got the nes the nintendo entertainment system here we see it displayed with two controllers and the super mario bros original that game is so wonderful i play that all the time still when i try and speedrun it and i'm not very good i can't even get sub 5 minutes yet but it's still a great time and it's never been easier to speedrun this game especially if you have it on nintendo switch online or if you have the nes classic edition up here so i do have two of them one sealed one open that i am using and then i have the famicom mini here as well they have 30 games on them but to be honest you can just use the switch online and it's just as good for the most part it's not all the exact same games then the nes had a console remodel so we have the control deck here is what it's called and that one sometimes people call it the nes mini sometimes the dog bone controller right here that's really really a cool controller now the buttons are a little bit different but if i were to game i like this one just the buttons feel a little bit farther apart so a lot of my other friends who are into speed running say they don't like using that controller they prefer the nes classic controller i just think it's a really cool unique item and piece of nintendo history this one is probably one of the rarer ones to find it's not that often that you can kind of see it in the wild especially i have some accessories here with this action set including rob the robot which is new for this room tour now rob the robot is something i would love to get the big box for because there is a deluxe set that comes for the nintendo entertainment system i just don't have that yet but i would love to add that to my collection at some point just rob is so expensive i found him locally with all of his accessories and even the baggies and the instructions so that was really cool what nintendo room doesn't have rob the robot not just the amiibo then down here we have a power pad a zapper in the box nes controllers an nes satellite nes4 score and we also have a deluxe joystick controller here and a few other accessories for the nes moving over to the super nintendo it started with the famicom which you are seeing here now the famicom is actually the super famicom and this box design just blows the one out of the water i think for north america i really like the color scheme on this the famicom had the colored buttons as well all four buttons though are kind of like they're con vex i want to say and then on the super nintendo we had two convex and two concave i believe so i prefer and a lot of other people do prefer trying to use the controller that's actually from north america just i don't know it's just a preference basically speedrunning but let me know what you think so on the super nintendo we had this classic edition that was released basically but this is the donkey kong one what i mean by classic edition just the original release of the super nintendo because it was also remodeled to be the control deck which is a mini super nintendo that is here so i do have them displayed other than super nintendo it just wouldn't fit beside the box because the box that i kept is huge i also have this box here which is the original release i guess in north america we do have the mini versions of these systems in north america and in japan again i have one open and one sealed again if you want to play on the switch online it's very similar just not all of the games from the classic edition of these systems has made it to switch online quite yet so just keep that in mind i have an inbox controller over here then i have this super gameboy which is great for playing a lot of your handheld games in color and down here is the super scope moving back to the nintendo 64. this is my first pride and joy for nintendo and it's probably one of the things that got me into basically making more and more youtube videos trying to collect all the different color variations especially these six fantastic series of consoles was a lot of fun there's a tremendous amount of different color variations with nintendo consoles particularly on the n64 and the gamecube and the switch seems to be having more and more especially with the docks and the joy-con colors too so i like nintendo for this having the different color variations it makes it seem more fun makes it seem like it's a toy which it is so the system itself started with this one the charcoal black edition of the nintendo 64 worldwide i do have behind that the japanese release which is a little bit hard to see but you can see the box right back there as well i don't like doubling up on box systems and i also try to face out as much as possible so i have all the systems here facing out which takes up a lot of space but it looks kind of cool in my opinion especially having the consoles and the controllers right beside them so it started with that black charcoal edition we also have the gold edition of the nintendo 64 which was released in japan and also at toys r us this is the more expensive edition that has the two pack with both controllers it is crazy expensive if you can find it on ebay and not only was that there the gold version of that there was also the factory sealed edition of the controller mine's not in great shape over time these blister packs is what they called they are called they sometimes crack and crease and have some damage to them i don't want that to happen but i'm okay with it some people are getting them graded and actually get them factory sealed i guess twice because they already are and then they get them graded as well so you will see the entire series of those blister packs on the side there that are quite expensive over time as well so north america we've got that charcoal black then the gold and also in north america we have the pikachu nintendo 64 set this thing is cool so it's two-tone it's got a yellow back and a blue front with the pokeball power button it also has a reset button as pikachu's foot and i like the controller here as well the design is still two-tone it also comes with some other accessories here in the box there was this one in north america and there was three other pikachu variations worldwide which i will get to in a moment i just want to stick with the north american releases so we've got those three the black the gold the pikachu and then we have the six fantastic series sets here the most common one is jungle green i think jungle green's the most common because not only was it released as part of this fantastic series as you see here it was also released as this donkey kong 64 set this is the exact one that i wanted to get originally back in 1998 or so i remember trying to go to costco i was told they had it in stock this is before there was popular internet you could check stock online and everything like that but when we went in they were sold out which caused me to go buy this specific nintendo 64 right here used without the box with the controller eventually i actually bought super mario 64 and star fox 64 before i even found the system because they were sold out so i had to wait another week anyways this is the most common fantastic nintendo 64 probably because of that fact it was released as both different variations this zelda controller by the way is not official it was painted for me so that looks really cool and by the way any of the display stands you see throughout this video so these kind of display stands right here for the nintendo 64 and all of them for all of my controllers were supplied by rose colored gaming check them out if you would like they have fantastic variations of stands for all different types of systems and controllers so thank you so much to them and i really appreciate it they make my collection look a lot better this time around especially with all those stands for all of those controllers jungle green most common above that one we've got the watermelon red this is probably one of the harder defined systems in the box in north america it's definitely the hardest to find watermelon factory sealed controller previously there was only maybe two or three of them in existence that you know were in the collector's hands but i think we're up to five or six of them out there that controller alone can sell for i mean probably a thousand dollars and up a lot of the collection that i have here i paid a fraction of the price because i bought them locally for the most part and i also collected them so many years ago so for almost every single one of these box systems i paid 100 or less even though some of them are worth 5 to 10 times that which is crazy jungle green watermelon red christmas colors looking kind of really neat then beside that we have ice blue to me this is the second most common fantastic series system so ice blue looks really cool it does have its matching controller below that though is grape purple now a really cool story about this one this is one of the systems that i bought on ebay and when i bought it on ebay they said bonus comes with an extra controller when they shipped it to me and this was i think eight or nine years ago they sent this factory sealed blister pack controller and then it started basically then i was like all right i'm going to go after every single blister pack controller this one's in pretty good condition but look at my ice blue it's got all these rips and tears on it and there's nothing i can do to really stop that i don't really want to re-buy it and switch it out at this point so cool that i got a free blister pack controller and then that started me trying to get all of them and it took me a few years to get all of them so we have the great purple the ice blue and then we also have the last two over here which is fire orange one of my favorites reminds me of halloween combined with smoke black now i think the smoked black one is a little bit harder to find as well you can let me know what your thoughts are on the rarity of these systems in order especially the fantastic series i just don't think that many people wanted a clear black system if they could buy one that's see-through they probably wanted a cooler color but it depends on the person and the individual down here i have a nintendo 64. this is to display or use cartridges a lot of people were telling me hey i used to have that when i was growing up so it's kind of cool to see that i don't have any controllers in that right now i also have different accessories down here for japan so we have different things like extra pack the expansion pack the ac adapter and so forth as part of those accessories to transition into the japanese systems so not only were there the fantastic series released in north america but in japan and some of them in australia but not all of them we had them just in a different box so here is the smoke black system but it's actually called clear black so this clear black system is the exact same as smoke and it's sometimes a little bit less expensive if you can find it in the box i'm kind of out of the realm of pricing for that so i really need to do a new pricing guide for all the n64 systems the grape purple was also released as midnight blue what a cool name here for midnight blue let me just take the box out i love the style packaging for these two looks cool midnight blue is a perfect name for that even though it's probably closer to grape purple than anything so those are not different variations so what we're looking at so far is the nine different variations from north america you've got the six fantastic series then you have the pikachu one the gold and the black so nine released in north america going back to the pikachu edition i mentioned that there were three other variations worldwide now the one that was released in north america has kind of a partner in japan over here but you can see that they're different colors of blue that's really the only notable difference also in north america the games are playing north american games but in japan they play different games they can play different console variations or they can play different game variations from different regions of the world all you have to do is a soft mod on your system but that requires cutting a little bit of the plastic in your north american system just as a heads up so in japan you have this blue system here and then you also have the orange pikachu edition which i think looks really unique but i don't think it looks as pokemon as the blue and the yellow one so that one's kind of really cool as well and then in pal regions we have this battle set so this one's actually not exclusive to japan it's exclusive to pal pal meaning australia and europe from my understanding this is called the battle set this one has the exact same footprint as the normal nintendo 64 as opposed to the pikachu ones which which are a little bit wider it just has different decals on it they're not really stickers they're actually on the system and this one is two-toned the controller is the exact same opposite two-tone as the one in north america so this one's yellow then blue on the back as opposed to one in north america which is blue on front and yellow at the back okay so that's so far 12 different systems the final four building up in rarity we have the blue and white sometimes called the clear blue and clear white console this one is a little bit different in the fact that this cover right here is gray not blue like the one it is for the ice blue system and also the bottom of this controller and the system is white i do see this controller sold even in north america sometimes imported but it is not the actual ice blue controller with the white on the bottom it still looks really cool we have a hoary mini pad over here which are really popular with speed runners that one's actually ocean blue in the box brand new and this one is the red one i'm not sure what's called red and white for the hori mini pads they were released kind of more recently and they have the exact not from hoary but they have a very very similar design that's really popular right now but the originals so cool they're just not great if you have huge hands the 14th system is the clear red system it does say clear red right here so that's where i'm getting the name from the other one was called clear blue which is where i'm getting the name from right here actually written in english so same thing this one is the watermelon red system but with a white base same as the controller as well now the two rarest nintendo 64 systems are right here we have the just go 30th anniversary and then we have the diet hawks i don't know how to pronounce it i usually pronounce it wrong i've been practicing but the orange and black system it's debatable which one is rarer of these two in my opinion i think the die hawks is probably a little bit more common now this system is a different orange on the front and it is a black on the bottom you can see it right here now that is a see-through black but it's different than the smoke black for the fantastic series and the orange is different than fire now a popular thing with these consoles is it does have some whitening here with the plastic just the way it was formed there's no getting around that especially on the system so if you see that it's very very common with these systems the justco 30th anniversary is again slightly different to the smoke i can tell the difference between this one and the smoked black system but it's a very small difference the bottom of this is also white the white matches the systems it looks like it matches the systems for the clear red and the clear blue this one was only released in just go stores as celebration of their 30th anniversary which you see their logo up there making it a very limited release so those are the 16 different color variations of the nintendo 64 but there are at least two other editions one's called the lawson and one is called the ana but it's the exact same system as the black the only thing different is this little jumper cable that's it everything else is the exact same otherwise okay continuing on we have accessories beside all these systems also in factory sealed blister packs we have the expansion pack that's right here the rumble pack then we have the transfer pack and this is the n64 controller memory card which plugs into your controller too and then we have the rf switch or rf modulator back here the only other thing that i don't think i've mentioned yet is this lodge net controller which was available in hotel rooms does anyone else remember going to hotel room and they have this controller you pay by the hour i think to play various games and the end of this is actually looking like it should plug into a phone line which is kind of cool there are two different variations of this this one has a joystick that's more similar to the nintendo gamecube it's not the same but normally the joystick here you can see down into the base there but this one it has that stopper the other variation of this controller is up here which has that classic addition of the joystick so that's what i'm talking about now the next line up is all of my boxed controllers so i'm going to start with north america over here there is a set of eight of them in the box just with the solid six colors here gray black red yellow green blue then we have atomic purple and extreme green the extreme green is the rarest one it's been selling for hundreds of dollars in the box and it's probably the coolest color i think anyways it looks fantastic it's right up here with the extreme green so i do have those controllers displayed up here and i think they look so cool with these stands they just look really neat the extreme green though the best here we have these four different controllers that match the fantastic series that was released in australia these are insanely hard to find and pick up there is only jungle green fire orange great purple and ice blue interestingly we never got smoke black or watermelon released in in australia for some reason so just those four moving on to the accessories right here so these are from north america and a little bit of europe as well just all the accessories are now in the box but they were also blister sealed we also have the cleaning kit right here which is kind of interesting then moving over to japan we have the same different controllers that are the solid colors so we have gray black red yellow green blue but then we have two pikachu edition controllers which match the systems so this one's the orange one this one's the blue one they look exactly like the orange and the blue scene right here but they're released separately then we have the clear red and the clear blue which are the exact same as this clear red and that clear blue we also have this two-tone box so this is actually the mario kart controller this box variation is amongst the rarest nintendo 64 items in existence i almost never see this one sold i always see the black ones sold in the gray just never the two-tone one so the two-tone one is just the same as the mario kart controller it's black on top gray on the bottom there's no difference from that otherwise you could technically just get a black controller and a gray controller take them apart put them together boom you've got a mario kart controller and there's no telling otherwise you can't tell the difference but at least this box is really rare this box is not the mario kart 64 edition with the controller then we have some box controllers from japan that have a different packaging the atomic purple the dia hawks the midnight blue now these two i always confuse one another so one of them is the smoke and one of them is the justco but i'm not sure which is which so i can't read japanese i think this is the jessico and i think this one is the other one for smoke but i'm not positive yes this one should be smoked that one should be just go then two different gold editions they're the exact same just different box packaging so continuing the nintendo 64 controllers here are two of the rarer ones from japan especially trying to find them in the box we have the hello mac controller right here and we also have the jeffrey controller the hello mac controller and the jeffrey do have boxes associated to them that look like this kind of packaging however they usually sell for almost a thousand dollars for some reason i don't think these controllers are all that rare you can find them on ebay quite often almost constantly they're up there just not always in the box and the people who do have them they sell them for a lot of money so these are gray on the back they are black on the front and they have this little insignia on them so i'm just happy to have them at all but that is on my wanted list to get the boxes for those to finish off with the nintendo 64 collection i want to talk about these three controllers right here before i do there is an e3 controller that has an n on it it is black on the bottom and gold on the front but it's so easy to make a fake of one of these this one is a fake item in my collection i sent it to finngamer who's a collection in finland collector in finland he has a real one we authenticated that this is not a real one and to be honest guys all you need is a gold decal and a black controller and a gold controller put it together and people are selling them for so much money and they always claim that theirs is real and that they have some story about some uncle who had it in his attic who got it from some employee at nintendo i'm telling you that most of them just as a heads up are fake there's not that many of them out there they certainly didn't give a one away to every single contest winner so there's only a handful of them in the world and yet over i think a hundred people now claim they have them so most of the ones out there are fake and rant anyways these three controllers right here for the nintendo 64 are amongst my favorites these are all kind of associated to giveaways and things like that so first up we have this dk-64 controller this one's special because the banana tips and of course it says dk 64 on the top you could get this one as part of a promotional giveaway i believe it was part of nintendo power magazine it never came with its own unique box or anything like that it just came in a box from the company so you'll never see a box like one of these obviously and it was only in north america so they sell for it's going up but usually a few hundred dollars if you get one you just want to make sure the banana tips on the controller look pretty good what a great idea by the way for that controller design next up is the nintendo power 100 issue controller same thing with this one it's a gold controller fully gold though and it has this insignia on the top that's like a sticker put on top of it and it's not always put on all that well but it's really hard to authenticate and replicate this sticker so these aren't as commonly faked as the e3 controller is i don't even know why i actually have that displayed up here but whatever so if you're trying to buy one of these again hopefully maybe they have some paperwork from nintendo power or something like that if not it's really hard to make sure that you're getting the right one that you can compare it to real ones but honestly the sticker on top is just slapped on it's not even always level just to give you a warning lastly my favorite controller probably in my entire collection this is the millennium 2000 controller it has black special basically the bedding here for the joint stick right here is black rather than gray so it does have a black kind of casing around the joystick the buttons are all black or red it says millennium 2000 you would think there are 2 000 of these controllers but there's not there's only i think 1 000 of these controllers in existence kind of a missed opportunity there and it did make it a bit more rare the back of this controller is black it is a two-tone controller we have a silver tip here for where you plug in the controller into the nintendo 64. this is one of the reasons why i got into collecting all the different variations of colors and everything i just really fell in love with this controller in the past i did have two of these but i traded the other one away it never came with its own unique box but it did come with some paperwork i'm pretty sure just like this one came with some paperwork as well these three should have come with some paperwork if you have them in a really good condition or really good shape so i've never used this actual game i plugged it into my system and just to make sure it works the joystick is in still pretty good conditions someone obviously used this a little bit when they were gaming in the past wonderful controller to end the nintendo 64 collection on let me know what's your favorite color of all these variations and also which one would you think that you would want to game on or which one do you remember gaming on the most either at your own house or at your friend's house or anything like that for me it was probably the jungle green and the normal one as much as possible i think one of my friends had the pikachu edition but i don't remember it that clearly anymore just so many cool different colors for the nintendo 64. moving on from the 16 different color variations of the nintendo 64 to 16 gamecubes now a lot of these gamecubes are duplicates i collect the face plates as well as the box systems there's actually more than this that's out there i'm missing a few of them let me know if you can see which ones i'm missing before i mention whatever i need to get later so 2020 for me for gamecube collecting has been insane this console is so nostalgic for me my wife and i both grew up with a nintendo gamecube so i really liked collecting the systems this year playing the games and collecting the games some of the consoles i've never really talked about in the video before either which i need to get to let's start with north america first so in north america we had the jet black system here the console also had a matching controller that had a variation of the blister pack that you can see back there and there's also the game boy player that goes onto the bottom of the system that you can see back there as well so there's many different colors of the game boy players that i'll get to but we have the one for the black system in north america now next up is the silver console sometimes called platinum platinum silver if you will also has its own matching controller and back there is the matching gamecube adapter i'm almost out of room for the nintendo gamecube if you haven't noticed so that hopefully will happen next year's room tour i'll have more room for this kind of stuff the third system in north america is the indigo system a lot of people call this purple or blue depends on your preference i guess so this one has a factory sealed controller and this one is a solid blue on both sides but there is one that was released in north america that was blue on the front but clear on the back so that one is taking us down to here so this is another one released over here in north america this is called the gale of darkness super pac this one did come with its own face cover right here so i'm talking about these name plates this one is not removable usually when you open up a system let me try and show you right now so when you open up a nintendo gamecube there are these little clasps that you can use to take out the jewel this one does not have it because it's one of the original released systems same thing with the gale of darkness but this one should have it so let me take a look at this silver one this one doesn't have it either so you'll have to check your consoles and see which ones do now one that i know for sure that has it over here is this donkey kong one so let me just put this down on the table and show you what i'm talking about so underneath this system you can see right here these these two little clasps right there you would just use your fingers to hold this basically and after you do that this jewel will pop out so that's something a lot of people don't know there's a lot of these collectible jewels that you can get there were none really released in north america most of them are available in europe or in japan like this donkey kong one which i will get to later okay so in north america we got this gale of darkness pokemon xd this is a unique system kind of because of this different variation right here same thing as the lawson for the n64 and the ana is this really a different system variation kind of so i wanted to get this one because the price was right and it was available in north america this one did come with a normal controller but this is the one that i was talking about that is two tones you have the clear on the back and clear blue on the front and the other thing that was released in north america was the spice orange but we only got the controller we only got this controller right here this transitions us into japan so japan actually got the system for spice this is one of my favorite gamecube variations in terms of color i really like this one i think it's cool i wish it came out over here i don't know why it didn't come out over here and actually when nintendo announced the gamecube they also had like a pink variation that never really saw the light of day or was released but we did get something that was similar which i'll talk about in a second just to touch back on those factory sealed controllers i do have the spice orange one from north america the jet blue then we have the platinum and the black and there's also two wave birds that come factory sealed in blister packs which i don't have yet they're on my wanted list so we've got the four from north america then we have the one that's the spice orange so far from japan also from japan is this starlight gold system right here the starlight gold system looks so similar to the platinum color if you're looking at an image of it when they're side by side you can definitely tell but just looking at a quick image of it alone it's sometimes hard to see what you're dealing with this is one of the harder to find game cubes it was exclusive to japan and for that reason it's a bit more money than most of the other systems especially not the special edition systems there is one more that is a plain solid color release and that one is the white one from pal regions and i don't have it yet i really want to import it there's a smash mario football otherwise known as mario striker's north america edition that i really want to get so if you're in europe and you can help me out find that system that would be so cool i've been looking for it for a long time for a reasonable price shipping always gets me just crazy okay sticking with japan we now have some really cool variations of the systems so this one down here is called chars customized box this one is from gundam if you know the gundam series this is kind of like that pink console that i was talking about that was never released this one not only comes with the controller and the system this is actually two-tone and it's really hard to tell so let me just put this down this is the only system that has a different front face plate for where you plug in all the controllers all the other systems have this as gray but this one has it as black not only that but the system itself does have two colors on it and it's hard to see maybe not the system but at least the controller does i always thought the system was to color i was probably just thinking of the fact that it's black on that one side so let me show you the controller and how it's actually a two-tone controller right here you can see the front of it is a certain type of i want to call it red pink and the back is more of like a ruby red so it is a two-tone controller color and it is extremely rare and hard to find there is also a wave bird edition of this that has been released which is available up here which is actually the rarest nintendo controller i would say the rarest nintendo controller in terms of the wave birds yeah that's definitely the rarest one it does have a box here from club nintendo and it's very very hard to find okay sticking with the ones from japan by the way this one even has a figurine in it which is so cool there's the figurine back there that you can kind of see next up is the tales of simphonia pack this one has its own game boy player as well unique color and it comes with the game i don't have room like i said to display it beside it so i do have it up here this is the green one that i'm talking about and there is the game boy player right back there again i need more room running out of room in this giant nintendo room thus the room expansion hopefully i can expand into there once i finish the ceiling and the floor and everything like that so that's a really cool system i got that this year also in japan is this hanshin tigers champions from 2003 i want to say yeah 2003 even says it on the box so this is such a cool system i do have an unboxing video up of most of these by the way this one has pin stripes for the baseball team when they won the championship in 2003 so this controller is black but it does have the hanshin tigers logo right here it even comes with the jersey mine even came in a bag this is a ridiculously cool set and i love the theme of this system next up i believe this one is from the pal regions both of these are from the pal regions so this is a metal gear solid the twin snakes premium package this one comes with just this right here the fox hound face plate and a normal controller normal platinum silver controller but then the resident evil system i'm quite certain this was also exclusive to pal and this one was released with its own unique controller so this one does have this little decal on the top that's on the controller itself it's not a sticker that one says it's pre-owned for 24.99 i found that one locally even though it was imported which is so cool now i think the fox sound system did i misspeak did i say this is from europe it's definitely from japan you can see on the bottom of the system it even says jpn down there so this one is unique to japan this one is unique to pal regions i don't think we ever saw this in north america okay next up is the donkey kong set that's all the way down here this one was for donkey konga now it looks like a platinum silver system but top right corner it also includes this specialized jewel that i've been mentioning so that system is this one right here just the same system as the platinum silver just a different jewel so that leads me into all the different jewels that i have i also have one for pokemon this one is a different one than the xd this one looks like it's more like for a pokemon colosseum maybe again the texas in japanese this is 2003 from game freak so this is a really cool one as well pokemon colosseum was a game on the gamecube then up here we have a metroid prime one this one did have a box variation that i don't have the box for it yet again i think this one is from the pal region then the last two that i haven't mentioned yet are for mario kart this is one of my favorite ones because double dash is a game my wife and i play all the time still to this day we are so competitive with the game it's a lot of fun playing some double dash multiplayer did you know you could play 16 player double dash if you just basically chain game cubes together locally it's crazy 16 people double dash i want to do that once we're finally out of this ridiculous hazard of 2020. next up is this mario kart one that was just arrived literally i didn't have it at the start of this video my wife said it arrived and i ran and i put this in the video so the beginning of this room tour if you click back when i was showing off everything that was not in the video so brand new fresh nice to have this i just added this into another platinum system basically so that's everything i have for the different variations of the face plates and the systems but i do have a few other boxed systems so down here i have the mario party 7 bonus set it's just a normal jet black system with two controllers and the game and then i have this twin pack plus down here the reason why i have this is exclusively because it comes with a clear controller this is the only way to get the clear controller for the nintendo gamecube most people never knew this existed this is probably one of the items on the system that a lot of people have never ever seen before which is such a cool little item right down here other controllers that i don't think i've mentioned or discussed yet i will get to at the top here so up here we have the emerald blue or emerald green controller another one that i wish came out in north america it's one of my favorite variations of color it pairs really nicely with the spice orange when you're gaming just just a comment by the way so this controller was released in japan in the box right down here so from japan we have the box variations of the emerald green the spice orange the jet black platinum silver indigo or you know i think it's called indigo yeah and then we also have the uh the indigo and the clear controller and then the white controller so this one has a much much much longer cord i have one of these factory sealed and the prices for it have been going up a lot the controller cord is so long on this controller that's why a lot of people want to pick that one up here's two more boxed variations from i believe pal region so blue and another one i'm not sure what color this is it's orange so that one's a different box color of orange but it doesn't say so on the side of the box i just ran out of room again then up here we have the boxes for other controllers including the mario controller from club nintendo this is actually produced by nintendo many companies like hoary and pdp have been releasing their own variations of those controllers but they're kind of knockoffs to me this is the original this one has blue on the back and red on the front it was available in europe in this mario limited edition box but then in japan it was available in this one and it never came out in north america it has the club nintendo logo right there the jean prince on the side of this is really cool this is mario jean's colors this is luigi's jean colors for luigi's controller and this one is wario's jeans for that one up there so this one is blue and green but wario's is purple and yellow so luigi's looks like this right here with the club nintendo logo and then wario down here looks really cool as well i can't believe purple box packaging looks so neat these are very expensive the wario one in particular in the box is crazy hard to find and very expensive there is also the club nintendo controller right here this is the wave bird so that's the wave bird up there for it this one has blue on the back so it's a really light blue basically for club nintendo this controller is also released not as a wave bird that is on my wanted list it's been on my wanted list for seven years probably and the prices keep going up and up and up so i really need to get around getting that hopefully in 2021 after the club nintendo controller is the gundam chars customized controller this is the rarest nintendo item that i have that's officially announced how many numbers were released i think i'm pretty sure this is one of one thousand making it the rarest gamecube controller the rarest variation probably out there that i will ever get my hands on one of the 1000 is very limited especially considering it was imported from japan so this one does match the system that i mentioned previously it is two-tone except the receiver that plugs into the console on your gamecube it's the exact same gray receiver that it is for the other wavebirds so i thought it would be a unique receiver at least it might be like red themed or anything like that but it's not so just keep that in mind such a cool color variation and the controller that is came with the system does match it as well just to give you one more look let me just grab this and bring it down next to the system because really this set together is where it's at this is so cool to have in my collection and i really have tried gaming on this before but of course it only plays japanese games and i only have one or two of those so really really unique and there's the two tone there that i said all right after the wave bird controllers the two special edition releases i should probably talk about the normal releases we have the platinum one and we also have the gray one those two were released in north america in blister packs in japan they did have a box for them so this is one of the boxes from japan i believe this is for the platinum silver one i don't have the gray box yet and in europe if you're from there or australia let me know what wave birds released over there i think that's all four of them in the world after those we have some special super smash brothers edition controllers so here are a few of them i think these might be better on the super smash brothers wall that i have i just wanted to put them also with all the gamecube controllers because they're different gamecube variations so we have three different ones here from my understanding these two are for the wii u they have this logo that kind of looks like it's on fire and then we have the one for super smash brothers ultimate that was released for the nintendo switch which is this one here so smash brothers controllers there's a lot of other ones that are third party like i mentioned previously like pdp and hoary but these are the official ones made by nintendo so you have two black and one in white which is pretty neat alright next up is the gamecube adapters that i did mention already so you have orange platinum blue and then you also have jet black however there's all the different variations of colors for those that match the systems unique to japan so the one for gundam char is down here the red one that's kind of hard to see then you have the green one that's over here so that makes six so far and then there are other ones that were released in the world i think the one for hanshin tigers is just a normal black one that you see right back here so it's not a different color variation for that one but there are other variations of colors so there is a few other ones out there i think there's a white one that i don't have yet so far i have six of those the other things that i have for the nintendo gamecube that i haven't mentioned yet or just some accessories they're kind of hidden behind the consoles again that room problem considering i need that expansion to be used for nintendo stuff so back here we do have a memory card that is sealed we also have that was nice light from that platinum reflecting we also have another memory card one is the 1019 one is the 251 in terms of size of blocks then below down here i have a sealed blister pack this is a game boy player sealed let me just move over a little bit to give you a better shot of what these items are so that one right there actually i don't think this is fully factory sealed it might have a opening on the back of that one we also have here the modem adapter the modem adapter blister pack sealed i almost never see for sale this one's hard to pick up you do use this with fantasy star online i think you can also use that to daisy chain all the game cubes together for mario kart then we have the memory card 59 so 10 19 251 and 59 i think and then we also have the rf switch all factory sealed there's the two different types of blister pack packaging by the way one is actually the triangle and one is not other little accessories here just basically random things like memory cards that i couldn't fit anywhere else so i just kind of had them tucked away so that should be everything for the nintendo gamecube that i have in my collection except i haven't mentioned the giant controller back here that's kind of just been waiting now this giant controller is ascii it was available for fantasy star online you can use it like a regular controller there are two inputs on this controller to plug into your system one is for the controller itself and i think one is for the keyboard so you do take up two different things if you just want to use it as a controller apparently just plug in one of them now since i've tested this this year again it's it's not working anymore so i'm wondering if i can get this back working otherwise i do want to get this complete in box working it would be hilarious to show up to a smash brothers tournament with this as your playable controller i just think that would be pretty ridiculous i wonder if someone can get that working on a pc if they haven't already another thing that i want to mention is above the nintendo gamecube i do have this sign this one is also from rose-colored gaming i have some nintendo gamecube signs that i made myself that you can see back there one is blue but it's covered up it has olimar on it the other one is orange it has samus on it and then for the nintendo 64 you can see i have some but they're really hard to see behind everything which kind of sucks this one is fox mcleod the next one has donkey kong then it has link on one of them and the last one over there has mario let's see if i can get him in shot just a little bit back there so those signs i designed myself and i decided just to cover them up with the controllers once again i really wanted to display everything optimally and that's why that happened the nintendo 64 sold pretty well but then the gamecube didn't sell that great it was the worst selling home console other than the wii u so this one just sold over 20 million units and the n64 sold over 30 million units the super nintendo sold over 50 million or roughly 50 and the nes sold i think around 60 million units and then came along the nintendo wii which appealed to everyone nintendo really did hit a home run in terms of sales this one sold over 101 million units of the console so there's different variations of this as well i have five of them there's technically a sixth that is in existence which i'll talk about at the end of the discussion of the five the first one that was released is this white wii this one i waited in line outside of target like overnight a lot of you are trying to get the new playstation and the new xbox and i really empathize with that because you just want the new system you just want to play so this one and wii sports took the world by storm then we have the black wii this variation has two games with it wii sports resort and wii sports so you can get this without those games now just a note about these two these two play gamecube games so if you're into collecting or if you really want to game you can play both wii and gamecube games on this what was great about the wii at the time on the virtual console you had nes super n64 then you could play gamecube and you could play wii you could almost play nintendo's every single system from home console and even sega games and various systems as well on virtual console if you want to get a wii that plays gamecube games not every wii plays gamecube if you look at the system and the wii logo is written like this when the system is vertical then it plays gamecube games you'll have a little compartment that opens up here for the gamecube controllers and at the back as well the black one has the same thing it has that flap however the blue one note the writing now it's not written the right way like this one is so this one does not play gamecube games the top does not open and that's really unfortunate they took away that functionality out of this i assumed to save costs so the blue one really cool and actually i think my wife's family has one of these factory sealed somewhere in their house that they've never used before another little collecting tip is to ask your family and friends hey do you have any of your empty boxes of your consoles a lot of people throw them out and recycle them you could ask them ahead of time don't get rid of it i would like it or do you have any boxes just sitting around i probably need to buy that one factory sealed off my mother-in-law and father-in-law one day the last normal weed that was released is this red edition this is mario's 25th anniversary edition this is 10 years old so this one fortunately does play gamecube games this might have been released before the blue wii i'm not exactly sure which one came first this one comes with new super mario brothers and wii sports so cool with that logo on there i wish the console was more themed other than just red but red alone nintendo red looks so cool that one brings back a lot of memories to me as well the fifth wii console is called the wii mini down here i have two different box variations mostly just because i found them locally so this one and the one with pikmin 2 included inside this one does not have any functionality in terms of gamecube it also only has one usb port from my memory back here so it's really difficult to plug in things if you want to play rock band you need that adapter for sure and the gamecube controller adapter will not plug into that either because you need two ports for that so then we have here some different variations of accessories too before i get too far into the accessories i want to talk about the controllers so here are the pro controllers for this system these are a fun little thing to collect there's a white a black then a samurai warriors three gold in black and then we have the gold one and the red one now the red one's hard to find i don't think this one ever came out in north america from my understanding we do have english text written on here but this one i think was from europe i'm not sure if this ever actually officially came out in north america like i said the gold one is from club nintendo but the black and the white one did come out in usa and canada and mexico at least in north america so the samurai warriors one is the rarest one even though this one's from club nintendo which is probably maybe the more expensive one the samurai warriors one is one that a lot of people don't know about that one came in a special edition which i have all the way down here which is samurai warriors three treasure box it is kind of hard to find especially complete in box like this and the only reason why i got that is for the controller then we have the nunchucks of course you have white black blue and red and the different controllers most of them although i do have pink blue and black over here most of them i have displayed over here with the wii u so more on that when i talk about that console other accessories we have the wii wheels there's a white one and there is a black one there might be other colors in the world as well and i think on the wii u there is variations from pdp from mario luigi and peach which would be cool to pick up and there's also a gold wii wheel at some point that i might want to get here we have the lynx crossbow training i love links crossbow training i actually held world records in this i'm still top three in a lot of the leaderboards for this game i really need to pick this back up and play it again it is really inexpensive you can probably find it for like five bucks you don't need to use the zapper for it but it's kind of cool if you do it's just more you know authentic in that experience it's not a full-fledged zelda game it's a shooter but it's kind of cool if you're into little shooting mini games and stuff like that and a few of the levels you actually run around using the crossbow which is really fun here you have the gold nunchuck we also have the gold controllers which i will talk about a little bit later because not only do you have the gold nunchuck there's also the gold wii remote for the legend of zelda but again that's coming this is new the wii points card factory sealed i found that locally and i thought why not i'm never going to use that but i just thought hey it's sealed then we have the nintendo wi-fi usb connector which also won't work anymore but it's factory sealed a nunchuck and the wii remote all sealed as well and then the classic controller that most people are used to without the handles is up here this one i don't like as much because the cord is at the bottom also the everything just seems a little bit crunched together the two joysticks you might note are a little bit closer together than they are in here and also the cord is towards you as opposed to the cord being on the top so i greatly prefer the one with the handles not just for the handles so let me know your thoughts on the wii it's one of the best systems in terms of sales but a lot of people wouldn't put it at the forefront of having the best games of all time a lot of shovelware on this system because like i said it sold 101 million units a lot of producers or game developers flocked to makes games for the system which means there's a lot of bad games for it but if you want to get into collecting there's a ton of games around 20 bucks that you can get that are fantastic i have a collecting tips help series buying guide which is a starter guide series that you can check out for this system as well nintendo had a home run with the wii and even the name the wii was a little bit strange but it worked so what do they follow that up with but the wii u this was very confusing if you know about me i worked at gamestop it was eb games in canada and not back then quite but a lot of people were so confused about the fact that the wii u is not just a peripheral for the wii it looks like it's just a game pad that you would use on the wii system even the system itself if you look at the design looks way too similar to the nintendo wii which confused a lot of people there weren't enough exclusive games for it that were just home runs for people to buy even breath of the wild which was guaranteed to be on the system was released on it and a nintendo switch which made a lot of people leapfrog this system not only that but nintendo's been porting almost every single great game away from this system on to the nintendo switch so there's not a huge reason to get this system anymore other than the fact that it can play wii games it can play wii u games and there was a virtual console on this and i still think there's some great games to be had on this system and the repertoire of games or the library is actually pretty small so let's start off with the base set the basic set the eight gigabyte console this system has only eight gigabytes of space which means if you want to play breath of the wild it almost takes up the entire system if not it's unplayable on this system you need an external hard drive it is crazy that they release the system and advertise that it only has eight gigabytes so this is the white system that you can see with the gamepad right here in the nunchuck there's also a different variation there which i'll get to at the same time nintendo released the deluxe set now the deluxe set had 32 gigabytes whoa that's still not enough back then it might have been enough for a few games but today you know that that's that's nowhere close so a lot of people do use an external hard drive or you can just use your disks and even then it's sometimes a problem like i said trying to run breath of the wild on that base basic set is crazy so beyond that though there's only one other variation and it's not a console variation it's just a gamepad variation which is this legend of zelda this one comes with wind waker hd and hyrule historia in a electronic form right here this is the one you want to get if you're only going to have one wii u in your collection look at this beautiful gamepad it is way better than the standard black gamepad in my opinion i love all those different artwork on the system and it really is spectacular but that's it in terms of console variations for the wii u i also decided to pick up a few other of boxes just because i found them and they were a good deal i'm not going after every single different box variations for systems by the way it would be way too much to collect but this one's really neat this is the super smash brothers for wii u and splatoon set i predict this one will be worth a lot over time as well as the mario maker one if it's not expensive already the skylanders swap force i found that one for a really good deal it was like 40 or 50 bucks with everything basically other than the system so i thought i would get that as well and then here is the refurbished box from nintendo there's probably one of these for the white wii u as well that i might try and get my hands on just because that's such a unique piece there is a collection of refurbished games for the wii u that you can collect that are harder to find but they have that red line on the system if you want to get into those and the last one i have up here is the super mario 3d world edition with two games this comes with super mario 3d world and nintendo land and they come i think pre-installed yes they're not physical copies of that nor was it over here for the wind waker i wish there were physical copies though it's great to get a special edition or a different release but i wish they were physical copies rather than the downloadable options other wii u accessories there are the pro controllers here is the white one and the black one the white one is far more rare i do have them factory sealed as you see later in the other expanded space and these are going up in value a lot i do have a set of four of them open that i can actually game with my friends on them then we have the wii u stereo headset and the fit meter but also the wii u gamepad this is an additional battery that's a larger battery this is 2550 and i think mega amps or something like that mega amperes i'm not sure exactly what the name is i do have a video of inputting that into my gamepad and it makes your battery life 10 hours on the gamepad at least rather than just a handful of hours so it's harder to find i bought it for a really good deal but it was like six years ago we have the white nunchuck and the black nunchuck that have the i guess packaging for the wii u and then we have all of these controllers up here so now it's time i talk about those as well we have the red nunchuck that came out in japan i don't know if this was ever released in its own box in north america it did come out like i said previously over here with the red wii for the 25th anniversary edition just not as its own box so here's all the wii remotes we have the boxes below their various editions as i said that re-remote the red one i don't have the box for that i don't know if there is a box for that so we have the black the blue the white the pink the mario luigi peach bowser toad and yoshi comment below what is your favorite of all of those i have to be honest the bowser one is pretty neat looking we've got green we have yellow we have all the logos on here i love this i wish nintendo did this with the switch pro controllers rather than just what splatoon we have one for we have one for xenoblade we went for smash brothers but i would love a mario themed official switch controller not made by a third party the last one is the zelda edition wii remote that you see down here this one came with skyward sword so this one you would have to get in a box that would look like this right here that also came with the music cd so that's really neat so in total we've got 2 4 6 8 10 11 there's 12 different wii remotes again all of these stands that they're on are from rose colored gaming love that site and it's so useful to display your collection next up are these pdp controllers up here that i've been mentioning that are not official made by nintendo they're officially licensed though so they look like this they're called wired fight pads you can see the official nintendo logo at the top but they're made by pdp a lot of you mention these or uh link me to them which i do appreciate and they're also up for the nintendo switch however i'm not going to collect all of them for the nintendo switch i think i have all of them for the wii u though so here we have zero suit samus we have samus from metroid of course donkey kong we also have metal mario mario luigi peach wario toad yoshi and then the one for link is down here just because it didn't fit up there lastly we have some more boxes for the wii u pro controllers the four that i have opened i mentioned and then one pokemon battle pad again this one is not official this one is from hoary so it's not first party from nintendo but i did get that at some point in my collecting experience as well nintendo's newest console i'm sure you're aware is the nintendo switch so this has been updated a lot this year i collected a ton of stuff for the switch i do not have every variation out there honestly even though this room is crazy like i said previously i try to only spend maybe a hundred dollars on most of the items i get but it's just not possible with consoles so the cost does get away from me a lot and that's why i don't have every variation quite yet i do want to get them in the future i'm just hoping the prices for some of them come down a little bit so what we do have here is the original release nintendo switch this one is the black one with two black controllers or joy cons up there i have the system but i display it with two different color joy cons of neon green and neon orange just because it looks cool why not then my other system that my wife games on is this one right here this is our nintendo switch light it's the only switch light that we have this is the zatian and zimazenta edition i do have an unboxing video of all of these switches i believe up on my youtube channel if you would like to check them out so i got this for her for christmas i believe it was last christmas crazy so this one is one of our favorites i would like to get the other ones i'm actually trying to use the shoppers drug mart points to get these for free the other switch lights for free if you save up enough points over time you can cash them in and if you can find the location that has the console you can get stuff for free basically so that's kind of a neat hint or trick here is the animal crossing new horizons special edition the game is not included with this one so we do have the white dock we have tom nook with timmy and tommy on there and the island theme green and blue which is really quite wonderful i love that console in the different dock then we have the fortnite edition right here with the various different decal of the characters and we also have the bus right there as part of the home button which kind of looks neat now we have orange and blue but it's not really neon orange which you can compare the two oranges up there to it and also the blue just seems like more of a solid normal blue the other joy-con variations i have my joy-con boxes right here we have the neon red and the neon blue some of these actually came in like a mario party game so here we have the box also for the neon pink and neon green and then purple and orange so i have those ones kind of displayed down here we have the neon yellow on the right and the purple over there and then the two colors here on a rose colored stand and also the black controller i just put it right there because it fits and i wasn't sure where else to put a black joy con for this i'm going to move towards these really neat pro controllers so there are four of these pro controllers the first one is the original one right here that was released but then we have the xenoblade chronicles 2 split soon and the smash brothers ultimate this one was released in this special edition which you can get for the nintendo switch which is over here which i'll get to when i talk about the super smash brothers wall so these are quite expensive the normal one you can find in stores you can also find this actually with super mario odyssey right now i believe that's available in walmart it comes with the game i guess is a download code and the controller for really good price the xenoblade one and the splatoon and the smash bros ones there are lots of fakes out there make sure you're getting one that says nintendo switch up here and it doesn't say anything else or just a picture of the i guess system itself so there's tons of fix be really careful if you're buying the controller and make sure that you're getting an authentic one if you really want the authentic one there is a code or a little secret hidden message in here behind the joystick that says thanks to all gamers i believe thanks to gamers and i do have that in my unboxing video about this as well so those are really cool that i have those four variations that's all of them above here i do have a box for the online nes controllers and the super nintendo controller and ring fit adventure wasn't sure where else to put that in the video so i put it there here is my other boxes for these so i do have the nes controllers and the super nintendo controller i have ones opened up there and ones closed you can order only order one of these by the way from the nintendo store online so i had to get a second one second hand basically just because i really wanted to keep one i guess new sealed and i found it for a pretty good deal too sticking with the nintendo switch just for a moment we're going to skip down here to nintendo labo section so i have all four of the variety kits down here it's kind of hard to see all of them but they are all there and i also have a nintendo labo bag that came with a pencil and also a little insert so those are kind of neat little items that came with this and the label i have kind of constructed a little bit so you see some there and actually hidden back here which i'll try and get out just right now for you so let's see it is not going to work okay i'll just show it right here then i do have some of the labo way back here kind of hidden away that you're never going to see anyways also on the switch wall though i have my legend of zelda breath of the wild collection so this is the master edition with this uh shield that i have and also with jordan's set for creating a champion basically for breath of the wild so more on that when i talk about the zelda wall but it's a great display i love that game so much now transitioning out of the nintendo switch i'm going to go to the handheld collection of all of my systems starting this off we have the game and watch i have the game and watch ball and also the game and watch super mario bros that just came out this year but i also have a donkey kong too this is from my cousins my aunt actually gave this to me it doesn't have the box or anything it's just authentic and it's so cool i haven't collected the game and watches yet it's just in the future maybe once i run out of other things to collect i'll get into the game and watches it's not that nostalgic for me because i never played those growing up however the game boy is next now this was purchased from me by jordan so thanks again jordan this is the original brick this is the game boy original and it only had two colors tetris was the main game that came with this hours were spent batteries gone and lost playing on this system i didn't grow up with one of these either but i do remember my family playing with them my cousin's playing with this such a cool system and really gaming on the go super mario land 2 is incredible links awakening the pokemon games there's tons of great experiences to be had on that system now after the game boy of course we have the game boy color so i am just going to jump down to here for the moment so here's my game boy color boxes i do have the lime and the grape or the purple one and this is from my friend kevin and his brothers his siblings so i do have the boxes from them which is really really nice of them and i wanted to keep that in my collection and he wanted me to have them too after the game boy color there was the game boy advance of course this one went back to the kind of wider variation so this one does have the l and the r buttons and i really think this design is comfortable but they redesigned it to look like the game boy advance sp with the clamshell design but this has no i repeat no audio jack that's such a weird decision from nintendo so the ones that i have for the original game boy advance i do have this one which is called glacier i think and then spice orange but that's it so far for the game boy advance sp i have the black one there but that's actually an iq special edition then i have the cobalt blue i think it's called and the red one and then i also have over here the classic nes limited edition series so that one's really quite cool and i even have a game boy rechargeable battery pack that's for the original game boy though around the same time we had the game boy micro released this one is factory sealed i don't want to open it but i do want to try it out at some point so i do have another box which is it fell behind back there for the black i guess this one's black with a silver box and there's another one that is the opposite color tone so i do want to get this and actually have it opened because i'm terrified to open factory sealed things especially considering how old they are and how expensive they're probably worth at this point after the game boy advance we have the nintendo ds so here is the original nintendo ds just the box i actually don't have the system yet i have no idea how but i always thought the game boy sorry the ds lite was a better variation to get and then there was the dsi which i got from my wife this one right here and then we have the dsi xl over here as well which i got a few years ago at a game swap maybe it was last year i really missed game swaps great for getting a lot of games so after the ds you guys probably know we have the nintendo 3ds so there's tons of nintendo 3ds variations a lot of them the top two rows are basically all 3ds variations that i have as well as a few others so let's go through all of them here first up though i have a ds light which i didn't mention so this is the zelda edition of the ds lights this one is very plain it just has the triforce here but it's cool because it's gold but here is the first 3ds the first one that i owned ah so many memories i remember getting this one no i don't play this system very often in 3d i usually have it turned off but it is really neat and it does have additional gameplay components like in super mario 3d land it is really neat to play it because some of the levels you actually kind of have to play in 3d the camera plays tricks with your eyes especially in those bonus little mini levels so this one comes with ocarina of time 3d i believe it came with the physical copy and i do have an unboxing video of all of these i believe up then we have the nintendo 3ds xl so this one here has the triforce logo but this one is specific to a link between worlds it's cool right here you have the two colors and even the system is gold but the inside is black with the triforce looks pretty sweet ninety percent larger screens then you have the new nintendo 3ds xl this is the majora's mask edition this is gorgeous i really love this one and i've been getting into majora's mask more and more the depressing game and the overall mood from majora's mask is actually way more compelling to me in 2020 than it's ever been before beautiful special edition there is another one that is available that is i think a bit more plain for the legend of zelda that's a 3ds that i don't have yet after the 3ds or during the 3ds we have the 2ds released as well so here i have the 2ds xl this is the hylian shield edition this is my favorite handheld console i believe in my collection it is gorgeous i love the emboss and the raised pieces on this it is a fantastic system especially considering i don't like playing in 3d it's perfect for what i need then the original 2ds system right here this comes pre-installed with ocarina of time 3d this one is more matching zelda's zelda's lynx clothing so it's not gold it's more brown almost like the brown from his gloves right here and the grain of what he is wearing i wish it was gold but it is not other 2ds's that i have down here i have the super mario brothers 2 edition red and white then i have the new nintendo 2ds xl this is the orange one it almost reminds me of a creamsicle and we have the black and blue turquoise one as well these went on sale and they are discontinued which is crazy but it makes sense because the switch has been so popular i'm just going through anything else that i missed over here the main thing that i missed down here is the virtual boy this is the box the instructions the inserts the manuals everything but the console and the controller i found one locally i paid was i think 275 us dollars for it brought it home and one of the eyes didn't work and i was able to return it and i am still on the hunt for a working virtual boy but i have this in really good condition and i thought i would just hold on to it of course i also have some accessories like the e-reader that one's factory sealed but behind it i have some others that are opened and i have some other little accessories like i already mentioned this rechargeable game battery pack for the game boy this is a carrying case i have a few carrying cases back there and even the nintendo ds wi-fi usb connector that is now pretty useless i think overall but it's kind of neat to have that kind of stuff so that takes me through every single console what am i missing a ton of different variations for handhelds i would personally like to get into the game boy colors and try and find those i've been slowly looking for them as well as picking up 3ds variations when i can find them and 2ds's and ds's but there's just so many out there i actually almost forgot to mention the coolest part of my handheld collection is right here the pokemon consoles and the metroid consoles the entire second row so here are the pokemon systems for the 2ds we have the pikachu blastoise charizard and venusaur all of them are 2ds themed consoles on stands made by rose-colored gaming for the 20th anniversary of pokemon next year is the 25th anniversary of pokemon which i'm really excited for in the middle we have the game boy color with pokemon yellow version this is another one of my favorite handheld systems it is two-tone it's blue and it is yellow and it has different characters on this there's another one that is out that has the starter pokemon on it for both the first game and another one for the second game that i would really like to get my hands on at some point as well the other special edition systems that i need to go through are the nes there's also one for the super nintendo that i don't have yet this one's not the best it just has like this basic controller on it it's not that great in terms of the system design then we have the new super mario brothers to the gold edition this one's pretty cool pretty neat and that's super nintendo one just makes me really wish they did a better job with this one basically now that i'm thinking about it the individual stands for these are a nice touch too then we have the other probably the third favorite system in my collection in terms of handheld this is the samus edition and it has hexagons on it great color scheme really love that edition it is two-tone so the black is kind of a yellow chrome for samus then the super smash brothers red console there's also a blue one that i would really like to get my hands on beautiful system design as well really like that one i just don't know why it's not in color it looks a bit more elegant i guess black white red but i wish it was in color then two more for pokemon we've got the x and y pokemon editions ones red and one is blue the red one i got from my wife and the blue one i picked up more recently at a game swap a few years ago okay so that is all of my handheld systems that i've gone through in total if you're wondering how many systems do i have i'm roughly at nintendo systems and then i have some other systems in the other side room which i'll talk about later after we went through all the systems that i have for nintendo now let's talk about all the games in general overall for nintendo games i think i'm at roughly 800 a lot of people always want to know like how many do you have and i'm not really a numbers person in terms of trying to get every single game on the console i'm trying to get games that i want to enjoy that me and my wife and my friends want to play that i might want to have my children play one day or games that i do see are rare and they're fun to collect so i'm not going after a complete library for any system there are tons of collectors out there that focus heavily on completing their systems and completing every single game on the system that's awesome that's for them but it's just not for me look at the rest of this nintendo room i clearly collect a whole ton of other stuff rather than just the games i guess i could trade all this stuff in and get try and get every single game on a system but to me i just want the ones that want like i want to play the ones that are good basically there's so much shovelware on systems i just don't think it's always worth it so this display has been updated a lot this year not only do we have the bullet bill garbage can down here but above that we have all the mario kart games kind of on the side there and we also have all the mario party games on the right side these are not every single release for the mario party series because there's a lot of handhelds and they just wouldn't fit so i just had the sides of the billy bookcases there and i thought it would look better if i put the games here are all the boxes for everything though but i want to talk about what i really updated this year and that was these displays for all the cartridges the cartridges have great artwork on them also the boxes do too but i thought there must be a better way than displaying all the cartridges like everyone does kind of like this so this led me into kind of doing some research looking stuff up and then ultimately deciding i'm going to build my own so i built these myself i do have a how-to video here on youtube that i'll link that you can check out if you want to so this is basically 50 games this is a little bit more than that but this is i think 52 games for the nes all here my idea with this is to try and get the top 50 nes games eventually of all time and put them on display then the top 100 super nintendo games on these two tiers and then the top 50 n64 games roughly was my idea the zelda games as a heads up aren't here because they're on the zelda wall just as a warning so going up to the nes these look so cool on display like this and if you're wondering why aren't the games falling over i do have this right here as kind of a barrier and then every three or four rows i have another barrier so they're not going to fall over which was the main problem that we were having originally because i mounted these properly and it really does look great especially with the lights mega man games out front right here i want to mention my friend from work basically he loves the mega man game so that's really cool and then i do have games that i really enjoy playing i love playing battle toads the simpsons bert versus the space mutants is so nostalgic the dragon warrior games there's two more i would love to get one day and ducktales fantastic on this console same with excitebike of course and final fantasy and the mario games are really good as well and then you have a little bit of a repeat up here with super mario bros 2 i just have two cartridges for that and also we have metroid and i think the other one that i should probably mention star tropics is great too but also is kid icarus is fantastic so just note the best games in the system are coming i didn't grow up on the nes so i do want to get all the rest that i think are the best on the system if there's another game on the nes that you would recommend let me know the super nintendo though i collected pretty hardcore 10 years ago and got tons of the best games of all time so here is roughly my best 50. this should have 10 or 11 rows all the mario games are out front here as well as super metroid is down here then we have super punch out and the legend of zelda links the past other standouts for me of course are the donkey kong trilogy right here chrono trigger dracula x is just really rare by the way contra's pretty good as well it's just that one the overview levels where your top down i guess shooting around in a circle are so difficult for me to play breath of the file fire good games too then we have evo kind of a rare game that isn't as good as i want it to be but it's still a great experience f-zero final fantasy games especially final fantasy 3. we have the final fight games and final fight guy the kirby games are really really good as well as ghoul patrol nice hidden gem on the system i really like playing through lion king considering i played it through on the genesis growing up and then back here we have the luffia games and the mario's missing games are terrible along with fun with numbers those are not very good games don't know why they're in my top 100 right now they should probably be swapped out i just wanted to display them because they're mario games below that we have the next 50 down here they are mostly alphabetical from the bottom then moving up so we have the mega man x games so good mega man 7 as well metal warriors the mortal kombat games we also have ninja gaiden trilogy and ninja warriors and ogre battle and pilot wings almost every single one of these is so good secret of mana we also have soulblazer i really like playing the street fighter games with a friend in star fox the super bomber bam games are great multiplayer games super ghouls and ghosts super turrican the ridiculously difficult star wars trilogy turtles in time i'm playing a lot of with jordan right now and then some of the other like zombies ate my neighbors so down here i have anything else that just wouldn't fit in my top 100 on the shelf so i do have quite a few of the other cartridges here basically there is one fake game in my collection and that is hagane which i have all the way up here it's definitely fake you can look at the different color of the cartridge when i bought it though they did know that too so i didn't get swindled or anything like that the street fighter 2 cartridge is the blanket really limited edition cartridge that is available from up here you can see it's part of the classic cartridge series but i'll talk about the boxes for everything in a moment all right moving down to the nintendo 64 next i don't have the zelda games again over here they are displayed on the zelda wall just as a heads up but this is my start of my nintendo gaming experience at home in my own house mario kart 64 star fox super mario 64 paper mario donkey kong banjo kazooie such a good childhood so lucky to play through those back then so here again the rarest game probably is sculptors cut i have the cartridge for it i don't have the box in the manual because those are probably a thousand to two thousand dollars just for those it's not a great game it's just really really rare from blockbuster harvest moon was also part of my childhood conquers bad fur day mature game on the system that's really really excellent and then what i have going on here basically is all the mario games are in a line going up here and then we have all the games from rareware going up there and then star fox kirby pokemon games and yoshi and f-zero and then basically random others going up like beetle adventure racing fantastic 1080 snowboarding love it tony hawk's pro skater trilogy the turrock games jordan loves those star wars games as well even mega man 64 my work buddy loves that game and then you gotta have gex if you watch other youtubers who makes videos about gex a lot or at least comments about it there are several other youtubers that do that tons so that is my display for the cartridges next up let's get to the boxes the boxes for everything so let's start with the nintendo entertainment system if i have the game then i pulled it out of the box and i displayed the cartridge over here so the boxes for the nes i have up there i don't have that many for the nes i think i have just over 50. so i i really didn't want to focus too much on the nes yet i don't think prices for that are actually going that far up for most of them they went up for a while and now they've kind of plateaued for a little while i think most people already got most of the games they want to get but let's just go through some of the ones that really speak to me castlevania i really want to get the first one of course then the dragon warrior games there's two more for me to get duck hunt is so cool duck tales in the box the black box nes games i really have to go after eventually soon too final fantasy in the box that's cool to have fire emblem this one is from this year which is so unique that this came out in 2020 it's not a real cartridge it's an acrylic you can look that up as well i do have that on youtube as an unboxing video a factory sealed copy of kirby's adventure marble madness up there because it didn't fit anywhere else and then gun smoke which i regretfully bought because i thought it was a different game for 10 bucks but now i'm really happy i got that and then mega man i have mega man 3 4 and 5 but i don't have one two and six in the box yet i do have them just not in the box metal gear the original which is so cool and then i do have some other games here obviously from uh super c super contra basically tetris and the ninja turtles trilogy wizards and warriors is quite new and the yoshi games as well so this is really cool to have all this in my collection but next up is the super nintendo seeing all these super nintendo games in the box really does make me happy it's crazy how expensive a lot of these have gotten over the years i display a few of the games by the way face out just to leave room to grow it's a great strategy so essentially donkey kong country here is displayed because it's one of my favorite games it's my wife's favorite game from the super nintendo so eventually i could display this like this on its side and have more game space so rather than have to constantly redisplay everything and move things around if you leave a few games like that kind of face out you'll leave room to grow in your collection already and you won't have to redesign the entire space so here for the box variations act razer is actually a fantastic game on the super nintendo that not enough people play i like the original compared to the second one aladdin great game on the system the breath of fire games there is chrono trigger but my box is slightly damaged you can see that up there on the top but i do i'm just lucky to have that at all donkey kong one two and three it didn't quite fit in order because if contra went here there wasn't the room for the box and i really want display donkey kong country such a good trilogy of games then we have the earthworm gym i only have the first one evo this is the box that has the blue kind of front rather than the colored front but it's such an expensive thing especially the manual as well in terms of collectors final fantasy games i don't have the box for final fantasy um what's it called i guess mystic quest i don't have that one yet in the box then we have the final fight trilogy but the very very expensive i dropped something that's fine this is final fight guy in the orange box so this is exclusive blockbuster direct from japan so hard to find the box for this this one does have some sticker damage here that you can see but it is probably one of the most expensive super nintendo boxes other than the one for earth bound just going to leave that up there for the moment all right moving down next i have a google patrol box that's in really bad condition then i have killer instinct which i like a lot the kirby games kirby dreamland three kirby's dreamland three my favorite of the bunch but a lot of people would say kirby superstar sagon the super nintendo was their favorite lion king the luffy games i remember getting these for 40 bucks each basically complete in box crazy deal and then the mega man games these as well was around 40 to 50 each i'm just missing the manual for x3 but the prices for these have gone insane 40 each for them crazy price mortal kombat i'm missing mortal kombat 3 i believe in the box ogre battle another rare one to try and pick up this is i think um terminator let me just see what this is this is robocop versus terminator in a hard shell case basically so it really doesn't display nicely no matter how you slice it it doesn't display well face out because it's just black and on the side it says nothing on it secret of evermore but more importantly out of order i have secret of mana over here which should be over there but oops so secretive mana has one of my favorite covers of any game you'll see the poster for that later on fantastic multiplayer action rpg game on the system sky blazer another hidden gem on the system star fox lovett street fighter this is that box that i was talking about that is the special edition box that's more new that was released not sure if i should have that displayed here with everything else super adventure island games are excellent super castlevania 4 is too everyone knows about super metroid and how it's a top game on the system if not the best game on the system i should probably have this one face out as well because it is just so good i'm going to leave that up there for the moment the super star wars trilogy like i said really really challenging i really want the box for turtles and time but i don't have that quite yet the ultima trilogy i guess different games on the system and then we have wario games and yoshi's safari to round out all the super nintendo games finally for the super nintendo the big box games of course we have earthbound this one has gone up in value as well it's like 800 with that player's guide that smells terrible with the scratch cards this i bought in pieces i couldn't possibly buy it all at once and actually it was a gift from all my groomsmen in my bridal party so that was really cool at my bachelor party they all chipped in and helped me get that and then three other big box games mario paint bomberman party pack and lethal enforcers there's also one more big box variation in north america for the super game boy but i don't have it yet next up is the n64 my childhood with all these boxes so cool so these boxes are neat because the four different sides have four different colors on them so what i mean by that for banjo-kazooie what a great game probably better than mario 64 but a lot of people wouldn't agree with me but honestly so much better in a lot of gameplay mechanics so you have yellow on one side of the box then green then red and then blue so you at least have three different variations of ways to show it where it always still says the game title this side doesn't so i always put the green side face out because it's christmas right now but it's just such a good game goldeneye how did i not mention that one already and 1080 and beetle adventure racing almost every single one of these is so good to me banjo-tooie blast core conquers bad fur day diddy kong donkey kong 64 already right here with golden eye included we have one two three four five six seven of games made by rareware i believe that is crazy i'm pretty sure yes blast core is rareware they dominated the console and then they just fallen off so it's great to have banjo-kazooie and smash brothers this is a gauntlet legends special edition that has one of the figurines which is one of the rarer ones that's released on the nintendo 64. and i really need to mention conker's bad fur day such a mature great game on the system diddy kong racing this might be better than mario kart again i don't know how many people would agree with that statement i like mario kart better personally but honestly we need to give more of a chance to diddy kong racing donkey kong 64. i don't know how great this game is playing it in 2020. the collect-a-thon is huge it's a little bit cumbersome but honestly it's so nostalgic it's so fun then we have harvest moon was my childhood i'm really sad what happened what happened with that entire series harvest moon games now are not the same way they were because it has changed hands story of seasons is the games that you want to get now instead of harvest moon because like i said different developer now and then we have kirby 64 the crystal shards love this box set i had it growing up and then someone helped send that to me if you were the one that sent this to me i just forget your name thank you so much then we have mario golf and mario tennis love these games i loved mario tennis growing up so much everyone's like you can't beat me in mario tennis and then i play you and then we'll see what happens but mario golf is one that i didn't play enough in my childhood i've been playing that more in my adulthood mega man 64 most recent game that i got on the nintendo 64. the box and the manual here mickey speedway usa another game made by rareware they made three racing games on the system diddy kong this i think and then mickey speedway usa i think i think they made that one as well just want to check this is a rareware game yes it is wow they made three racing games yeah this one sorry three two two racing games diddy kong racing and mickey's they didn't make beetle adventure racing that's the one i always confuse myself with over here there's not many rpgs on the system so ogre battle is probably your best bet or one of your best bets in the system it's a bit rare though pokemon snap can't wait for this game to come out on the switch perfect dark i didn't mention that but this game is definitely better to me than goldeneye just goldeneye is more nostalgic but perfect dark has more settings and bots and multiplayer then you have this pokemon stadium games love that you can also play pokemon red blue yellow on your big screen quest 64 an rpg you don't want to get for the nintendo 64 probably snowboard kids i have snowboard kids one but not two the star wars games really really fantastic on this system i'm surprised how many games they got on star wars on the n64 but star fox 64 big box edition is where it's at just like the big box edition for pokemon stadium love this game i love it so much that i got it before i even owned a nintendo 64. crazy crazy good then we have the tony hawk pro skater trilogy love playing through that even with jordan to this day we still play through that all the time turok trilogy his other favorite trilogy probably on this system and then we have wave race and yoshi's story wave race was a launch game if i'm not mistaken and yoshi's story is so wonderfully replayable but such a strange game that you gotta try it to believe it next up is the nintendo gamecube i collected so many gamecube games this year you might be able to tell that i don't have any more room on these shelves especially with the big box editions and all the mario parties removed from this basically so let's go through some of the greatest gamecube games of all time i do have some here that are a bit of a dud but they might just be a really good deal that i got locally or something that i wanted to try out but my idea here is to get the top 100 but i believe i'm over 100 gamecube games already okay so games that showed out to me 1080 avalanche animal crossing of course it's the n64 version i guess ported to the gamecube kind of bait and kaitos i played eternal wings and the lost ocean but the prequel but it came out second was bait and kato's origins i do have that factory sealed over there great card playing rpg games the batman rise of sin shu i think that's how you pronounce it the big box edition with the lithograph then you have beyond good and evil so good even though it was re-released the bomberman game is crazy taxi we have i think def jam fight for new york i need to mention we have def japan vendetta but the fight for new york is the more expensive one some of the disney sports games i have football and skateboarding but i don't have soccer or basketball yet the donkey konga games are all kind of really interesting on the system but we didn't get a normal release donkey kong game here because miyamoto likes new gameplay mechanics rather than giving us what we really want sometimes then we have eternal darkness excellent hidden gem on the system fire emblem path of radiance one of the more expensive ones f zero the harry potter games the original one went way up in value i only have the third and the fourth ones prisoner of azkaban and goblet of fire so far gauntlet i didn't talk about gauntlet enough but honestly this multiplayer game and on the gamecube is so wicked to play with friends goblin commander a game that's really expensive only on the gamecube for some reason harvest moon trilogy i remember playing through these quite a bit especially magical melody ikaruga that was re-released on the switch i believe killer seven fantastic kirby air ride great racing game as well lost kingdoms one and two pretty expensive overall then we have luigi's mansion it's really hard to find this one the black label for some reason for me anyways mario golf the mario party big boxes mario tennis mario superstar baseball mario strikers is later on i think because alphabetical reasons but i really really like these games i think they're a really fun multiplayer exactly what i think of when i think of nintendo the mega man games here are great but not as good to me as the metroid games on this system they're not really always for me but the metroid series is fantastic atmospheric and you feel so isolated while playing it then the need for speed games i got these recently because i grew up on need for speed carbon love playing need for speed carbon and most wanted then down here we have need for speed underground one and two as well some of the pac-man games fantasy star i do not have fantasy star online episode 1 and 2 plus yet i would like to get that the pikmin pikmin 1 and pikmin 2 so good on the system and probably the most expensive well definitely the most expensive gamecube game i have is pokemon box ruby and sapphire i have done the top most expensive gamecube games that i have in my collection gamecube prices are crazy video then the normal pokemon colosseum but also the bonus disc for jirachi i believe that's what that one is yeah and then pokemon xd gale darkness prince of persia honestly fantastic on the system all the resident evil games i just finished that off recently i got code veronica was the hardest one for me to find i think that one's probably the most expensive one too but resident evil 2 is pretty expensive as well four is the best though resident evil 4 is the best one out of those skies of arcadia legends another pickup from this year that i've been wanting to get for a decade sonic adventure 1 and 2 so nostalgic to me even on the gamecube and the sonic gems collection and sonic heroes mega collection and writers and all that shadow the hedgehog should be here as well somewhere earlier right there awesome finishing off the gamecube i should mention first soul calibur 2 just because link is a playable character that's really neat spy hunter no idea why i like this game on the gamecube so much the spyro games are pretty good definitely if you like 3d kind of games star fox i love star fox but not as much on the gamecube star fox adventures though my wife and i both played through it it is made by rareware it feels like legend of zelda light i should call it ends the flying missions are not nearly as good as i wanted same thing with star fox assault pretty good though these star wars games on the gamecube there's more i don't have all of them yet i don't think i have the second lego star wars but those are a lot of fun collect-a-thons super mario strikers one of my favorite multiplayer games on the gamecube that one you can body check people into electrified fences with mario powerups classic awesome gameplay i like it more on the gamecube because the wii edition of that game super mario strikers i think charged you can score way too many goals on one play super monkey ball fantastic i actually got into the multiplayer experience with those recently with my wife and her best friend that was really fun the attack games i don't know if i should keep these or not a lot of you are saying definitely try them out but i haven't quite yet tales of symphonia that one is not increased in value um really that much but it is a fantastic game time splitters games are really good too they're kind of like the golden eye games of the gamecube the tony hawk games there's so many of them i would probably prefer tony hawk 4 over everything once you could kind of get off the board and roam around the level it felt a little bit strange to me beautiful joe games definitely worth picking up uh kind of hidden gems but a lot of people do know about them and then the wario games are pretty good wave race another game i have factory sealed in the other room 13 i think that's how you call it not x-iii and then um zoids was something that a lot of people told me to get nintendo collecting what's that oh the face reveal if you haven't seen the face reveal video it is up on youtube as part of the 100 000 celebration and then the freeloader disc allows you to play games from other regions big box games for the gamecube i have two dance dance revolution mario mix dance pads these are the action set one of them i actually paid six dollars canadian for at value village so that's kind of a neat pickup these have also gone up in value over time especially this big box variation you can find the mat from time to time but it's not always the official one with mario dancing in the middle of it and then also on the nintendo gamecube over here i have the donkey kong jungle beat big box right here for the bongo drums which is really interesting that that exists at all now the other games that i should mention of course from the gamecube that i really like and the n64 and all the other consoles of course it's the mario parties and it's also the mario karts so for the nintendo 64 my favorite of these three is probably mario party 2. i like that one the best probably in the entire series along with mario party 6 for the gamecube would be the one i'd pick and then mario party 8 on the wii and then on the wii u i would pick not to play anything because i don't like mario party 10 that much and super paper mario sorry super mario party on the switch took a step in the right direction and yet the boards are way too simplistic there's only four of them they're way too small and they never released an update for that game or dlc which i really thought they would the mario kart series over here just to get to that as well because i'm talking about it now mario kart 64. definitely a top three for me personally in the series followed with double dash and mario kart 8 probably deluxe is the best one of all of them look at that bullet bill garbage can my wii collection hasn't grown tremendously over this past year just filling in some of the holes that i'm missing in my collection and games that i still want to play but i'm over 100 games for this system so there's tons we'll go through the normal ones then the special edition releases as well again the mario games and zelda games are mostly pulled out of here as are the mario karts and the mario party so a boy in his blob hidden gem animal crossing of course oh i could talk about every single one of these games my goodness i can't talk about all of them all right bit trip complete i love bit trip runner on this castle of shigakimi shigegami3 i can't pronounce that one i always butcher the pronunciation of that one that's actually becoming pretty rare dead space did come on the wii the blobs good little hidden gems that are cheap donkey kong country returns was fantastic on this system the endless ocean games are really good for relaxing gameplay the excite truck series fire emblem radiant dawn excellent but there's a lot of factory sealed versions of this out there that are the united arab emirates version i think so just be really careful with fire emblem if you're buying a new copy epic mickey's worth the play extra beats one of the best exercise games that my wife has ever played she said it also went up in value for a little while excite truck f1 is apparently a rare game on the wii that's why i picked it up but it's not fantastic because it's a wii game and there are better variations of f1 for you to play there are some final fantasy games on here and fortune street a game that i predict would have been a hidden gem this one's a nice um kind of quick play as well that you might not play forever it depends you'll either sink a lot of hours into the geometry wars or not golden eye is not very good i would play the original version now guitar hero or rock band which one do you prefer more i grew up on guitar hero but then i eventually got into rock band with the drum set ivy the kiwi another one that's increasing in value that's a really simple 2d platformer i believe um you should definitely try it out mine's still factory sealed though the kirby games especially kirby's epic yarn has wonderful graphics and where kirby's return to dreamland is great clinoa is excellent there's the sequel i think on the playstation though and then you have the lego games lots of lego games so many that they carry over to the next line lost in shadow another great 2d platforming experience that i think you should definitely try out kateku says best of e3 cool mad world crazy good graphics very gory very bloody mostly black and white except red for blood mario party new play control tennis the mario and sonic olympic games are pretty neat to play especially the originals and then we have mario sports mix which has four games on it i believe the games you get is dodge ball volleyball basketball and hockey if you're interested in those those never really got their own game other than basketball in the ds i think super mario strikers charge the gamer i said you can score way too many goals off one super charge kick mario super sluggers i really want a new mario baseball it's been too long nintendo make us one of those the metroid games especially metroid prime trilogy in this steel book is highly collectible it has all three metroid prime games on it definitely recommend you get that before metroid prime 4 comes out if you want to play those games muramasa one of the best graphical examples of gameplay and style that you can play on the wii highly recommend that one mushroom n2 kind of a little hidden gem nba jam's a blast knights knights is a game not usually on the wii uh it was ported over to the wii no more heroes these have gone way up especially no more heroes too but they are really good it's almost like fighting like a lightsaber with lightsaber let's be serious okami excellent fantastic game this one's factory sealed i did have it opened in the past pandora's tower but more on that one later phantom brave is another one that i think is highly collectible the pikmin games are also kind of hard to get the pokemon games pikachu's adventure and then you also have poker part 2. those ones are getting up there a little bit as well because a lot of people do enjoy playing pokemon games at all times red steel is a hit or miss depending on what your style is rock band is where it's at for me again love the drums even rock band 3 has the piano which is really cool shout out to leia leia rock band you know and then also we have rune factory which is a futuristic harvest moon and sakura wars so long my love highly collectible as well in the system next row sin and punishment you can still get for pretty cheap but it is fantastic sonic colors probably the best sonic game for me on the system soul calibur legends is good the star wars force unleashed one and two definitely worth playing if you're a star wars fan then we have trauma center new blood i couldn't stomach it sex wait sorry let me try again tatsunuku vs capcom highly recommend you play this if you want to play a fighting game on the wii then we have two trauma centers separating that one that's really funny we'll have to put those back in order later and then wario land warrior where all of the wii games that are kind of shovelware made by nintendo in my opinion other than wii sports and wii sports resort i do enjoy we play has a little bit that you can get out of it but we music was not for me zak and wiki the last hidden gem that i should mention on this system i can't talk about this one enough and get people to play this it's still pretty inexpensive definitely worth playing one of the best games on the system so here we have the last story pandora's tower and xenoblade chronicles with the art book this is a larger special edition box so let me just pull this out to show you it is from europe it is very hard to find it is from hmv and it is one of the rarest items in my collection i'm not sure how many of them are out there if you're a hardcore xenoblade fan and you're looking for something else to collect because there's only four or five games to get in that series definitely try and find find and hunt down this bigger box variation it was just the shell and then you got all the games independently it did come with the art book though i should say then we have the special edition of last story goldeneye kirby mario kart wii we play we resort animal crossing is back there and excite truck we also have mario this is wii sports i should say and then lynx crossbow training which we'll see again later in the video so those are all the wii games over 100 i wouldn't say this is a definitive top 100 in any sense it's probably over 100 games but i do really enjoy playing so many of them i also have the maracas up there for sam basama just because why not for the wii kind of in combination with the wiis the wii u is next up so let's start with the special editions this time we've got mario party 10 nintendo land star fox we fit you we party yoshi's wooly world with the amiibo the green amiibo zelda twilight princess but you'll see that later in the video too as well as wind waker i do have two of those very fortunate to have two of those and then the best game of all time to everyone animal crossing amiibo festival no one no one likes this but the best part about this is it comes with three amiibo cards so if you can find this for like five dollars you get three amiibo cards axiom verge they promised that this game would come out and it did on the whis which is really cool i'm just going to keep it factory sealed probably bayonetta 2 definitely worth playing bayonetta fantastic action series crazy set pieces captain toad treasure tracker my wife really enjoyed the dark cider games are excellent actually donkey kong country this is tropical freeze the sequel the donkey on country returns probably one of the best games in the franchise honestly so good overall and i love the fact that you don't have to use the wii remotes to kind of move or roll in that one ducktales remastered again i'm gonna keep that factory sealed because i play the original but it is really good given wario worth a play kirby in the rainbow curse i just picked that up a few days ago finally have that in my collection i have to try that one out the mario and sonic games at the olympics 2016 is the rarer one apparently but 2020 exists i think it's on the switch i don't know if it came out on the wii u but there's no 2020 olympics so i wonder if that'll be collectible in the future mario tennis not a fan at all of this game it feels like it is just an arcade game ported over they could have done so much better with mario tennis on this system new super luigi u and nes remix pack i love playing three mix pack it's really cool to play those games like in a fresh new way monster hunter i have not played enough of but a lot of you love it so i do need to give it my time nintendo land such a good game honestly multiplayer mario chase so good animal crossing the candy one great and then the one with the ghosts kind of like luigi theme ghost themed is really really fun with friends pokken tournament shovel knight even scribblenauts is fun sonic transformed racing is great as is splatoon of course and then the star fox games again miyamoto stop with this new types and styles of playing games just keep it simple and we'll love it i hate the fact that you have to use the wii u gamepad i wish they would release this on the switch and fix all the controls they're wonderful 101 all supported over to the switch tokyo mirage sessions sharp fe most people don't call this sharp my friend justin told me you're pronouncing it wrong it's not hashtag it's sharp fe and then that's for fire emblem by the way i just got that this year we party you again wii sports club not bad xenoblade chronicles x and yoshi's worldly world and zombie u the game that everyone thought was really good on the system when there was no games to play on the system and a steel book and of course mario teaches typing too didn't know that was on the wii u also on the wii u is this limited edition for xenoblade chronicles x up here so that's everything for the wii u next up is the nintendo switch so let's go to the special editions i have here xenoblade chronicles the first one the re-release and then also xenoblade chronicles 2 as well as fire emblem 3 houses and here is fire emblem it's the same one here for shadow dragon and the blade of light it's just the bigger box for it and we also have starlink up here that starlink is totally worth getting on sale if you can find it just for the fact that it comes with an r-wing our wing for fox mcleod definitely get it if you can find it on sale for like 10 bucks i know arlo bought like a hundred of those sticking with special editions then we'll go back to the games i have a celeste factory sealed i'm gonna keep it factory sealed from limited run that is something i got this year in a trade fire emblem warrior special edition sonic mania plus probably the best sonic game if not the top three for everyone i think if you've played it splatoon 2 yooka-laylee this is the special edition set from limited run as well it looks like n64 and super mario party with two of those joy-con colors other switch special editions how could i forget we have mario kart live home circuit and stardew valley sitting up here new for 2020 i love this edition of the game it looks so fantastic with all these wonderful things inside but also mario kart live home circuit i do want to do a room tour maybe with this going through my nintendo room at one point that would be cool and then all of the games i have here doesn't seem like that much yet i've seen stacks of switch collections but honestly i have so many games and i don't want to pay full price for most of these i'm waiting for them to be used and go on sale eventually but animal crossing new horizons game of the year for me for 2020 i can't believe it didn't win game of the year considering how many people played this for the majority of the year arms is excellent astral chain i haven't given that a shot yet but i need to then we have kirby star allies definitely worth playing as well as luigi's mansion 3. my wife's still playing through that one mario tennis aces again not as good as it should be i don't know what they're doing but they're just nintendo can do better than that labo i also showed off all the labo previously with the switch consoles ring for adventure honestly a really fun fitness game i know andre at game explain is going crazy over that and tweeting about it all the time definitely worth checking that one out we have run bow i love runbow runbow is one of the best multiplayer games you can play eight or nine people local for runbow which i have played before i think on the wii u and then also of course now on the switch sonic mania as i mentioned before south park i'm a big fan of south park my wife is too so i've got one of the south park games splitsoon2 stardew valley the update is finally here for co-op couch mode on the pc but i don't know if it came for the switch so comment below do we have couch mode yet co-op for stardew valley in terms of playing locally not online with co-op the elder scrolls and turok turok 1-2 i wonder if i'll keep these or not there's someone who would love these more than me and then it's jordan by the way untitled goose game i finally got that as well this year but i do want to open that one up world of goo which is over from the wii which is so strange and then we have xenoblade chronicles definitive edition and the game i always pronounce wrong the golden country i always say the golden country the company from game of thrones and yoshi's crafted world which i just picked up recently as well so those are all of my switch games next up is my handheld collection of games again all the pokemon games mario games zelda games are removed so there's a lot more i have that are box complete they're just on the poke wall which i'll actually go to very soon so on the game boy and the game boy color and the game boy advance i don't have that much i really need to get going on collecting these especially games like fire emblem have just been out of my collection for too long but i recently got kirby's dream land one and two that was within the last year i believe f1 race this is the big box with the four player adapter wario land two i need wario land one and three i think the donkey kong country games are great to play on this as is f zero this is maximum velocity and the two golden sun games i got in the last two years those are fantastic games rpgs to play through on the system kirby's nightmare and dreamland really happy i got that one in the kirby's dreamland games too mario and donkey kong i got that pretty recently too mario party advance again didn't fit on the mario party wall mega man and bass or bass and then we have mega man zero 2 and metroid fusion as well as warioware twisted and mario party e again just doesn't fit on that wall i do have some games just sitting right here i've got mario tennis conker's pocket tales harvest moon friends of middle mineral town and more friends of mineral town and mario tennis on the virtual boy the ds has a ton of great games that i had and i sold them off and i'm really trying to buy all of them back so games like animal crossing chrono trigger final fantasy golden sun even grand theft auto came on a nintendo system with chinatown worse then we have four kirby games an actual mario basketball game mario hoops three on three mario tennis mario and sonic of course mario and donkey kong there's two of those another mega man game with star force pegasus and then metroid prime hunters and pinball and resident evil deadly silence is one of the more expensive ds games that i have in scribblenauts super princess peach peach finally stars in her own adventure on the ds definitely worth checking that one out the legendary starfee another one of the best games i believe but not a lot of people play that one and warioware special editions for the 3ds are next up transitioning to the 3ds so we have kittychris uprising mega man legacy collection that comes with the gold mega man amiibo metroid samus returns project x zone which looks like it is backwards it should probably be this way not like it matters but it does because i'm trying to read them right now shin megane say four this one is factory sealed i don't want to open it because i feel bad opening that and then yoshi's woolly world without amiibo so then moving over to the games again way more handheld elsewhere in the room but new leaf for animal crossing and bravely default and bravely second top 10 on the system right away codename steam was kind of a dud from nintendo it didn't do that well you can find that for like five bucks donkey on country returns 3d fire emblem awakening another top ten top three maybe top game on the system and fire emblem warriors and echoes hey pikmin definitely not a top 10 game on the system definitely not kid icarus uprising probably in my top 10 mike crackit kirby's extra epic yarn a port of the game that we saw already on the wii kirby planet robobot i picked that one up this year as well kirby triple deluxe kingdom hearts of course luigi's mansion fantastic dark moon i feel like i like the original more than dark moon but that might just be me mario golf world tour actually a pretty good mario golf game you guys recommended i got this after i did my mario collection video because i didn't have it another mario kart 7 i have one factory sealed here and one up there as well mario party games the top 100 was such a good idea it just fell so flat mario tennis open was okay mario sorry metroid samus returns and then the monster hunter games are quite good as well i still have pokemon art academy because i thought i would get into art one day but i never really did and then we have poochie and yoshi's wooly world which is a port the wii u game professor layton there is a trilogy i think on the switch which a lot of people are checking out and saying it's really good star fox 64 3d one of my favorite games but in 3d and then steel driver i'll probably talk about that later made by nintendo it was a downloadable game but also put on a cartridge tomodachi life did really well in japan and then ultimate nes remix and yoshi's new island kind of not the best game considering what we wanted from the super nintendo but it was all right next up i'm going to talk about the poke wall because it kind of transitions nicely from handheld games with all these pokemon handheld games and a plush complete collection from the first generation after i talk about the pokeball i'll get into the zelda wall the barrio wall the smash brothers wall amiibo and so forth but first of all pokemon was huge this year especially the trading card game it was so big that it made me go back and collect a lot of the cards that i was missing from my childhood from the first set i was missing charizard machamp and blastoise i got a charizard this is a four very good excellent condition from ksa which is the canadian agency that grades games i know canada doesn't start with a k obviously but i also got this binder all the way from wizards of the coast circle like 1999 or 2000 or something like that did you cash the collecting bug for trading cards for pokemon cards this year because i definitely did more on that later let's get to the games first then the games pokemon red blue and yellow was the first generation of pokemon red is crazy expensive and these factory sealed are now thousands of dollars they're kind of following the trend of charizard pokemon cards i personally like blastoise the most i've got a copy here i collected and my wife's copy as well and her brother's copy of pokemon blue and my copy of pokemon yellow so this is such a good trilogy to get they're all kind of the same game but you know you have to trade to get all the characters i'm sure you know what pokemon's all about now gen 2 we have gold silver and crystal crystal's the most expensive one and if you're wondering for a completeness guide rarity guide about this and pricing guide i did do a video about all that again i'll try and put it as a card in the video if not in the description then we have ruby sapphire and emerald emerald again is the rarest one of those three and the most expensive one i think that's a series that a lot of people have slept on most people tell me that gold silver and crystal is the best because you kind of beat the game then also go back through kanto but honestly emerald is so great especially the fact that it's the third one and they fixed some stuff and made it even better then also on the game boy advance you have leaf green and fire red along with my battle moves pikachu right here that scares the living daylights out of my cat so those two are really neat to collect as well and they're remakes of the first two games from japan but i have the player's choice version of fire red so i really want to get the adapter version there's one that actually comes with an adapter inside that's not players choice so generation four we had diamond pearl and platinum that are slowly increasing in cost especially platinum diamond i can find everywhere pearl's a little bit harder to find platinum's a lot harder to find then we got remakes of gold and silver kind of right behind them they do have big boxes the big boxes for those two are over here that come with the pokewalker those are probably like 200 us dollars at this point which is nuts then we got generation five i want to call it we have black white black and white two as well so i think all of those are part of the same generation and my wife like those a lot i haven't played through those enough yet to give you my full thoughts but great games almost every single time from pokemon you basically know you're at least getting an 8 out of 10 every time then we have x and y my wife played x and i played y awesome games i really enjoyed those my wife blew through that one though way too fast she consumed that so quickly then we have remix we have alpha sapphire and we have omega ruby kind of hard to see these on the display that i made for this then the next generation was sun and moon and ultra sun and moon we got those also came in many different box variations that you see back here some of them came with a keychain some of them came both games in one pack some of them came with the figure this one is both games with a steel book for the original this is both games with a code this has in-game codes but i really do want to get the steelbook edition of that one as well and the figure one of pokemon sun that's one of the steel books right there looking at wicked and then we have the games for the switch so we have let's go edie and let's go pikachu a great remake of the original games as well i think those are really nice i like you can see the pokemon in the field then we got pokemon sword and shield and i also have the steelbook edition right here there's the steelbook but there's also the addition you can get where you already have loaded up i think is the download dlc available so that's really the crown tundra comes with it basically so the game looks a little bit different i'll probably get those at some point in the near future i have this pokemon gotta catch them all sign that i made and the clock and a poster a pikachu and ash up there as well as one of the coolest items in my collection this is a frame set of all 151 of the pokemon plus togepi being another one which is 152. some of them are discolored and that's just what happens to the set so squirtle looks particularly green and also we have at least one more vaporeon i believe down here which is brown basically looking rather than blue so they do go discolored over time i do have the box for this set if you're trying to find it on ebay you would have to search like pokemon frame or pokemon set of 151 it's really hard to find because there's no really good name to search it on this side of my fridge here i've got the pokeballs from jordan that are hard to see some of the different glasses of the starter pokemon of course and the pokeballs going all the way down with another pokeball and then the pokemon fridge we have an omega ruby and alpha sapphire sign here as well as decals all over the fridge for pokemon love the different evolutions there and even a pokemon poster here on the side from nintendo power that i just want to mention right now going all the way back over here are the figurines and some more cards so just big card charizard up there from the trading card game but these tommy figures are crazy hard to find and very expensive these probably go for eighty dollars each and up this is such a cool set because it has all nine of the evolutions of the three starter pokemon from series from generation one generation two and generation three and then they stopped making them in this style of packaging or at least i can never find gen 4 anywhere i can find them in different packaging later on the video you'll see that in the other room back there but it's just i really wish they had all of them in this packaging it's really neat and prices for tommy products go way up over time i also have a few of the tommy figures down here charizard lost his wings keeps them grounded blastoise pikachu and dragonite love dragonite i would love to get like ho and lugia and all the different pokemon maybe one for each would be pretty neat pokemon glass over here for all the evolutions from my wife and then all the way over here is a pokeball plus i should probably use some goo god on that sticker right there and a battle moves pikachu looking a little bit angry he turns on he flies around on the ground and like i said terrifies my cats lastly or not quite lastly is all of the pokemon gen one plush these are called pokemon fits in japan so that's the way i collected them but they are available in north america at the pokemon center at the pokemon store online they're called sitting cuties i don't like the name sitting cuties as much as pokemon fits so just to show you one of the tags down here this is what it looks like for pokemon fit so i imported these before they were available in north america they are a little bit like beanie babies blastoise is my personal favorite pokemon they have some beans or beanie babies they have some little bean works in the bottom of them kind of and then the rest of them is just a plush they cost i think 10.99 us dollars each for some reason i got a few of them and then my wife said well you can't get some of them you've got to collect them all so we did we got the entire series in order here from one going back for all the numbering if you wanted to look it's every single one last year i think i was missing one of them a lot of you guessed and said which one it was it happened to be cubone cubone will come up in a second and that was the last one i needed to get the full set so there's cubone right down there beside marowak and they look so similar it's so hard to tell the difference the guy in japan had to go with his son when he was buying these for me my contact in japan just so that he could make sure he wasn't buying duplicates because so many of them do look almost identical as part of the pokeball but not really these are part of all of my plush collection these are more pokemon fit from generation 2 that i collected all of them are out i think there's over 100 of them but i only got roughly 20 of the ones that i really wanted including all the starters and some of the legendary ones that i thought would be cool and the evolutions and i had to get pichu and togepi just because and then on the side of the pokemon wall i've got a sword and shield emblem right here and a pokemon trading card game this is the sun and moon eclipse 25 day advent calendar this is such a cool item that almost no one has in their collection that's probably insanely rare it was sent to me by pokemon themselves so that was really neat to pick up so that is my entire poke wall with all the games plush some cards figurines there's a lot to pokemon to be happy about especially in 2020 let me know who's your favorite pokemon what's your favorite game i would pick blastoise and i probably would pick pokemon crystal if i only had to play one of them ever again here is what i call my zelda wall all my zelda games and some memorabilia as well so to start this off let's look at the legend of zelda games the main series part so zelda one zelda 2 was on the nes then we had a link to the past which is probably the best 2d zelda game we have link's awakening the original we also have ocarina of time the collector's edition this is with the gold cart prices for that went crazy as have they for majora's mask collector's edition with that hollow curt i'll show that in a moment then we have oracle of ages oracle of seasons i believe these are made by capcom it was supposed to be a trilogy that was put into only two games my favorite probably or top three is wind waker along with i think ocarina of time and breath of the wild at this point then minish cap twilight princess a very mature take on a zelda game that is fantastic i prefer it probably now on the gamecube because you don't have to waggle the whole time with your arm phantom hourglass and spirit tracks skyward sword i really hope that one comes out on the switch a link between worlds fantastic game on the 3ds another top three on the system probably and breath of the wild probably definitely my top three i'm really waiting on breath of wild too which will go beside it i can move the shelf over a little bit more four inches probably and then i can fit the game there and rearrange everything on the zelda wall a little bit sticking with the games let's just go through what i have first and i'll show off all the cartridges and everything else i have the legend of zelda the classic nes series on the gameboy advance and then links awakening dx if you're going to get links awakening retro style get that one if you can find it then a link to the past with four swords ocarina of time 3d two more boxes for ocarina of time because i have the million seller players choice and the original and the collector's edition is up there for majora's mask i have the 3ds edition that came with the skull kid that's not amiibo somehow and if you ever see two copies it might be because i have one factory sealed or one i'm holding on to for a friend then we have ocarina of time the two game bonus disc but not only that one with master quest there's also this one that has wind waker and the two games of ocarina time master quest this might be one of my favorite discs of all time if people say that just because it has so much goodness on one disc two of my favorite three games for zelda on one four swords adventures this one comes with the game boy advance cable included i should probably use more goo gone and try and get that down try and take off the sticker but but cardboard boxes are going way up anything cardboard box nintendo then the collector's edition four games zelda one zelda two majora's mask ocarina of time a little bit out of order but you get the idea twilight princess on the gamecube i would prefer to play it that way rather than the arm waggle i think of the nintendo s yeah of this wii then we have skyward sword the bigger edition with the gold wii remote and the soundtrack that's literally in my car i also have a steelbook for this from best buy which is neat to have we have the ganondorf figure right here from the wii u wind waker and there is another different variation of the game that does not have the gold box art it just has the normal colored box art which i should probably look into this one is actually an amiibo this one is the wolf link that comes with twilight princess hd right here and i have another copy of twilight princess there just because for now i got in a bundle then we have the nintendo switch legend of zelda breath of the wild explorers edition guide and map not a lot of people know about this one there's one for splatoon one for mario odyssey and one for breath of the wild it has cardboard so probably get it if you're a collector values just keep increasing the wii u edition of breath of the wild and lastly the legend of zelda link's awakening dreamer edition so this is a special edition it's a remake of link's awakening of course on the switch you should definitely check that one out also i need to mention though hyrule warriors right here on the wii u on the 3ds and most recently released hyrule warriors age of calamity i'm not supposed to have this yet i'm supposed to get this for christmas but i have it included just for this video so thank you to my wife for letting me include that in this video then going back a little bit i think i haven't talked about link's crossbow training on the zelda wall yet but again one of my favorite games in terms of just going for world records and high scores triforce heroes four swords adventures just pulled out of the box so i think i now talked about every game the cartridges for most of them are pulled out and they're here just so we can quickly grab them if you ever try and pull out a game out of an old school box like this you frequently damage it so that's why i pulled out every single cartridge here three cartridges of ocarina of time the special edition collector's edition the regular and the million stellar players choice two from majora's mask the collector's edition hollow cart reminds me of poke reminds me of getting i guess hockey cards at like i guess various places like mcdonald's back in the 90s and 2000s the regular edition release was still a gold cart and then this one was sent to me this is master quest but on a cartridge so you can play with an n64 controller it is not actually released by nintendo but it's just really cool to have that other stuff on the zelda wall i've got majora's mask decals on the side here that were sent to me over 10 i think almost 10 years ago so i can't remember the individual's name but thank you so much for sending me those decals i have on either side i also have a triforce clock but the battery doesn't work right now and the lithium dice roll for board games because my name's obviously lithium the zelda set is right beside here for the wii u and on the other side we have the set for breath of the wild the master edition this one comes with a map a cd a coin and also this figure this figurine this statue of the master sword this shield here i got because it looks really good and it matches breath of the wild of course the creating a champion edition right here is jordan's which i do need to give back to him now that he has his own game set up and then here's my other i guess shield that's up in the room this is the hylian shield this one also has a master sword but it's actually just a backpack and a foam sword and it displays so well if you do it right for posters i have a link between worlds and wind waker and breath of the wild and ocarina of time all up kind of in this space but i will go through all of my posters at a later time so that's my entire zelda wall let me just see if i can grab the clicker and make it green for you so here's the clicker if you point it down here there we go legend of zelda green led wall which looks pretty cool speaking of the colors on the wall moving over to the mario wall i'm gonna see if i can get that to go red if i can try and turn on the leds for that one as well so i do have red leds to line this wall but they don't show up on camera that well so i have i have leds actually lining the entire room if i turn this on i can make it any color i want we'll put these into white which looks pretty cool and the last spot for my leds just to show them off is over here so i can light up the space a little bit more it just doesn't show well i think on the camera but it does look spectacular in person so i'm gonna turn them off for the most part and then go back to the mario wall so let's just go around the room see if we can get that awesome mario red all right let's get to the mario wall i'll start with the mario wall with the light off just so that you can see everything because if the lights on it kind of shows some glare so just to give you an overview this is the main series of mario games and a lot of the spin-offs that i enjoy but i couldn't fit everything on the one wall it just wouldn't make sense so let me move over here i'll turn on the light and then go through the entire history of mario's games so we've of course got mario one two and three on the nes i have two copies of mario one because one goes with the system that i have for the nes and the other one i got black box nintendo game so cool i like mario 3 is probably my favorite 2d mario game then we have mario all stars mario world a lot of other people's favorite 2d mario games it's so close it's so hard to argue i just like the power-ups in the world more in mario 3. then we have yoshi yoshi's island of course this is the for display only i do have another copy of the regular game i just don't want everything to fall super mario 64. i just got this one this year this is not the player's choice edition which i do have behind there this is super mario sunshine one of my favorites as well but super mario 64 is my favorite mario game of all time mario sunshine though i've got three copies i've got the display only copy then my copy and then kevin's copy i'm holding on to for some reason the new super mario bros wii this one has a normal release and a white box release mario galaxy another top three mario game for me personally but mario galaxy 2 is probably better than mario galaxy 1 it is better i know it it's just i played galaxy first and i'm more nostalgic to it and i love the entire open concept first world i'm not the world but the hub world i like that better than moving around as a mario like on a map the 25th anniversary of super mario all-stars and new super mario bros u right here featuring luigi as well then beside that we've got super mario 3d world which has been ported over to the wii u from the wii u to the switch and new super mario bros u deluxe as i mentioned that's also now on the switch so super mario 3d world i think that one's on the switch already i think it was announced was it isn't it was it announced i'm not sure everyone i'm losing my mind i think this is coming to the switch if it wasn't announced already it's coming for sure and then we have super mario odyssey that is the traveler's guide big box definitely get that one if you can and then mario maker a note on that in a second more about mario maker coming and super mario 3d all stars i'm really happy they released the update for that one so we can actually play the games the way they're supposed to be played with the controls and inverted camera and then you have a soundtrack for mario galaxy and a steel book for new super mario bros u alright moving all the way over to here i want to talk about mario maker at this point mario maker 1 in the big box and mario maker 3ds and mario maker 2 but then we have this mario maker book this is graph paper i really want to thank my fellow uh my fellow worker basically he's a friend at this point so russ thanks so much for getting me this this he got by standing in line when he was in japan if i'm not mistaken and the game wasn't even released yet and they were handing them out in line so thank you so much for giving me that i made sure i showed that off my collection this time around so this transitions us into a lot of the handheld games above was all the home console games and these are all the handheld spin-offs and variations so down here bottom left you've got super mario land and super mario land 2. land 2 is probably one of my favorite handheld games of all time then super mario bros deluxe super mario bros the re-release and new super mario bros one and two but you also have super mario 3d land here 3d land is a top three handheld mario game probably along with mario six golden coins that's mario land 2. and then my other favorite handheld is probably the re-release of mario 3 right here so we have these are players choice versions which i would like to get the regular we have mario advance 1 mario advance 2 mario advance 3 and mario advance 4 and they each feature different games basically and the order is a complete disaster so just make sure you look up and you get the version that you would like to get here we have mario 64 ds this is two different variations one is the black one is the red and the red one's still factory sealed so those are all the main mario games and most of the ones that were remade but then we have the mario rpg series so super mario rpg legend of the seven stars the isometric controls always gets me but it's such a good game and it was the inspiration to my favorite game ever nostalgia goggles on paper mario on the n64 love it can't speak highly enough about it but the thousand-year door was probably better i have two copies one mine one is mine one is my wife's when we were growing up we both play this game every year almost i feel like we get back into it it's such a fantastic game and it really did up the original paper mario then nintendo gotta be nintendo and change things up and super paper mario has one of the best stories of any mario game ever best story i would say but i'm not in love with the gameplay compared to the original paper mario games because i missed the rpg true style and this one was more like a real time action rpg then we had sticker star which i might gloss over a little bit quicker but it's okay it's just not great as is color splash but all of those games help to inspire origami king which came out this year it's no longer really an rpg at all it's more of an adventure game and you're just playing out the story that's not a bad thing but i really wish the crowd system was done but i really wish they went all the way with it and kind of went back to the original yes i should say it the super mario the paper mario games on the n64 and also on the nintendo gamecube i'm one of those people let me know what your thoughts were on origami king though it's still a fantastic game it's just not quite as good as thousand year door in my opinion then we have the mario luigi series we have superstar saga partners in time bowser's inside story dream team and paper jam which is an amalgamation of both paper mario and mario and luigi all of which are great but i would probably say superstar saga gets it for me because i played that one first but partners in time bowser's inside story such a good game series overall and now the series is not being made any longer which is sad so that is my mario wall of games there's also posters up for the super mario series for mario 3 and for super mario odyssey more on all the figurines coming up really soon for that mario wall on the side i have a mario tennis poster but i'll talk about the posters too later the next themed wall i have is super smash brothers also featuring all the amiibo from north america super smash brothers obviously a very highly competitive game but you can also just play it casually with friends and to me that's where i'm enjoying it the most so here we have super smash brothers on the nintendo 64. then we have melee or melee on the gamecube we also have brawl one of my personal favorites just because i put in so many hours on brawl on the wii with my friends in college then super smash brothers for wii u and the 3ds and of course super smash brothers ultimate sakurai just keeps releasing more and more characters along with that on the other side we have a few of the different variations of the controllers that were released and special editions so first up for wii u we have the white controller there was also the same controller but black that came out in north america in this special edition that's getting a little bit harder to find and prices are slowly increasing this one has the controller but it also has a gamecube adapter and the game so it's a pretty sweet special edition then next to that we also have a soundtrack a smashing soundtrack from club nintendo so thank you so much someone sent me that one in as well and then here we have a super smash brothers game controller for the ultimate edition of the game on the nintendo switch and here's the special edition for the switch so we have the white pro controller also the steel book and the game but you didn't get a normal game case so i actually went into a game store and they gave me the game case for free when i was buying some stuff so that was really nice of them if you don't ask you don't get basically then we have a gamecube controller adapter out of the box for super smash brothers ultimate and we also have another gamecube adapter but this one's for the wii u they're the same it's just the top one says nintendo for ultimate on the switch the other one says wii u on the top of it so what i'm talking about basically is this right here on top but they both work on the switch from my understanding not only that but we also have a steel book down here for that switch ultimate that was in that pack right there and also a steel book for super smash brothers for wii u this one has pikachu link and mario on it that one was from best buy originally on this wall for super smash brothers i have the poster of everyone is here and it is fantastic it hasn't been updated with all the new dlc characters it's just a silk screen poster and it's so cool look at luigi kind of flying through the air up there some notables i love the expressions on so many characters faces we've got pikachu and peachy with the lightning bolt right down the middle with our amiibo matching right there which is a cool nice touch then over here as well villager just looks awesome i love the starter pokemon but the best character on here for me is wario look at that face on wario and kingdom dd almost stealing the show with those different facial expressions they look really cool i do want to get this updated when the final edition is finally released i just don't feel like buying it every two or three characters that are announced that come out then we also have in poster form the smash ball with everyone chasing after it this is from nintendo force magazine and it is a great poster to include and have this up there is creases in the poster because it came out of the magazine but when you put it in a frame like this you can't really tell again love the expressions and all of the characters on that one it would make a great screen saver as well ganondorf in the top with meta knight kind of going after the smash ball and so many other unique characters mario is grabbing fox mcleod's nose almost it looks like and it mario's face is just gets me all the time same with link up there they just look so funny but i know there's a lot of glare coming from the lights here's the super smash brothers champion belt that you got at gamestop or eb games for pre-ordering one of the games and i made the belt look a little bit shorter because this arm extension actually went a lot farther and i kind of regret that i folded that at some point but it looks really good and now it looks centered in this space alright so this leads us to the amiibo is next after the super smash brothers wall so let's get to all of those my wife was just commenting on how many we have it is crazy there's roughly 35 per row and there's five rows so you can do the math it's roughly 175 180 amiibo with some of them out of the box as well that is a lot of videos and it's a lot of money to spend on these but they're kind of cool i really like them and i have done unboxing videos for the most recent ones that were released joker and hero so those are coming out really soon on youtube as well i do have an unboxing video basically of every single one of these if you want to check them out you could probably search it and it's out on youtube and i also usually give my own mini review in those so the top two rows are fully super smash brothers rose so all the super smash brothers characters in the top two rows and then a little bit of the third row as well any characters that had like duplicates are in this third row meaning rob and the me fighters and cloud core and bayonetta and then i wasn't sure how to fit in joker and hero and they're also kind of more featured when they're here right now in the video so they're right there then we have all the legend of zelda amiibo so all of them the guardian one's the only amiibo that's kind of posable in north america anyways tons of legends zelda amiibo then down here we've got four kirby amiibo we have four fire emblem amiibo not like there isn't enough in smash bros then the super mario line you can see three of them are identical with different color variations like gold and silver rosalina looks so much she's supposed to be so much taller than peach daisy and mario she's just a little bit taller here the wedding amiibo for mario is so cool kevin i miss you bud and then we have the donkey kong and diddy kong and boo koopa troopa bowser goomba wario waluigi and sue moore for mario's 30th anniversary five years ago we have two metroid ones a pikmin one and a chibi robo amiibo and then we have some from shovel knight there's a set of five of them here with one gold one on the end and shovel knight on the left goblin from diablo literally goblin was sold in dollarama for three dollars in my area but i couldn't find it when i went in to dollarama but someone in my area did find it i saw a post on twitter we have a mega man 30th anniversary and a gold mega man that was part of the legacy collection and then a series of splatoon amiibo this is not all of them because some of them i have sealed still down here that i have not got to unboxing yet so i do hope to do that sometime soon these two are really expensive those ones i just never got around to it quite yet and then we have all the animal crossing amiibo which should have worked in the game properly just like the amiibo cards but they don't and i don't know why they don't work the way i wish i thought you could just scan them in and they would join your island that would have been the best way of doing it but animal crossing so popular in 2020 continuing with amiibo over here we've got the yarn yoshi amiibo set so here is mega yarn yoshi i'm going to keep them in the box not only is it more expensive but it is yarn so i just want to keep it in best condition possible then the pink green and blue ones as well as factory sealed ones behind there even we have poochy here is the amiibo which is the rare one i do have that factory sealed later in the video and then pikachu detective pikachu the largest amiibo figure that's a solid amiibo figure probably the heaviest i would say not as big as yarn yoshi but that's not really a solid that's more like a plush a plush meets i guess amiibo i also have solaire down here from dark souls don't know why i never unboxed that one yet but i haven't and also from superchargers from skylanders we have quite a few of them so let me just move this little lamp here we have hammer slam bowser and also i think it's called like turbo charge donkey kong and there's also the dark variations of them down here so you have both of them in the dark variations i thought i would get those factory sealed and just have them i'm trying to get them opened as well so i only have the one dark one i need to get the others when i can and then there are amiibo cards so i do have animal crossing factory sealed amiibo packs over here series 1 2 3 and 4. i wonder if these will ever go up in time nintendo keeps selling out of them and eventually the price will probably hopefully come back down once they're back in stock but right now secondhand prices are a little bit crazy and also i'm not sure if i'm going to collect all of them or not let me know should i be opening up the packs what do you guys think all right let's take a look at my factory sealed amiibo collection we're in the secondary nintendo room behind the secret door over here these are all of my factory sealed amiibo i have been trying to get every single one from super smash brothers also factory sealed as well as a few others that i just collected over time i am currently missing two from super smash brothers let me know if you can figure it out before i let you know who they are after i go through what all the factory sealed ones are briefly so up here at the top i have some different game variations that have amiibo in them the yoshi's woolly world that i mentioned amiibo festival uh but at least it comes with two amiibo and amiibo cards the legend of zelda twilight princess hd factory sealed copy of that one of course and then a legacy edition with the gold mega man then we have some of the mario line but not all of them so peach luigi yoshi toad gold mario mario 30th anniversary both of them the silver mario and bowser i think that means i'm missing boo and maybe i'm also missing a few others i think daisy also came out in this set i'm just trying to remember you can comment below who else i'm missing from the mario set from the legend of zelda i haven't been getting those factory sealed jordan's been trying to collect those i've been trying to help them out with those so i only have the majora's mask one and from fire emblem i have almond celica and then from splatoon i've got four of them here i have inkling boy and clean girl and then i also have marina and also pearl these are from japan i'll probably unbox those rather than the two pack that i have from north america because the two pack in north america is crazy expensive and then we get to the super smash brothers all of them now if you notice that i'm missing any please let me know and then i'll go through that after i just give you a pan shot of all of these so i didn't think this was something that i would do because i was opening them up but honestly i keep finding them for a good deal like ten dollars locally or i bought them when they originally came out and i've just been holding on to them so the original wave kind of here it goes kind of right to left and then eventually the order kind of loses itself in some circumstances i do have more than one this one is from i believe i have one from north america and sometimes i have one from japan so sometimes i do have doubles if not triples these are something that i think are really fun to collect they display insanely well and to be honest guys i think the value of amiibo right now is at the lowest it'll be i think once they're completely out of print and out of stores the value will go way up and people will want to collect them all because super smash brothers is such a great series and value is just going up over time i think right now they're not so i do predict in a few years these are probably going to be worth at least 40 bucks each the rarer ones are being reproduced by nintendo a little bit so we'll see if that process continues and you know normally i don't try and collect doubles and triples but in this case i couldn't stop myself i see these being great trading pieces for the future so like i said i think the order of these was generally it was generally in the right order and then at some point during the dlc they kind of just fell apart so here is where the dlc kind of starts i think the dlc starts or at least the newer amiibo the reason why you can tell is the backs for these are fully different colors and then down here the backs are no longer different colors they're all white and we also have the red insignia for nintendo rather than the white insignia for nintendo anymore so the dlc characters i'm not even sure if these are all dlc characters necessarily but we have the new and improved packaging for everyone simon looks so cool i love that dark samus too looks fantastic going through all of them just recently i picked up a few more of these locally so who am i missing i am missing two of them i am missing corn player two i don't have yet and the other one i'm missing is i already mentioned from the mario series i'm missing daisy from super smash brothers so those are my entire amiibo collection and sealed collection of amiibo but let's get to my other figures as well following amiibo i want to get to all of my figures for nintendo these are something that i collected before amiibo were a thing when i was kind of trying to create my own super smash brothers trophy series of figurines at the top we have the donkey kong set of eight i believe these are all made by takera the best ones are crusher crusher i should say and king k rool but honestly you could just get the amiibo king k rool has a golden belly on his amiibo which might look even better these are highly collectible and they are quite expensive below that kind of continuing the rare idea the rare of the company we have diddy kong banjo and we also have wiz pig on various modes of transportation from diddy kong racing all of these are kind of like pull back and they move forward which are really neat then we have kid icarus from well we have pit from kanikaris i should say this is a figma figure i do have other figma figures i'll show later in the video and a metroid prime samus upper torso bobble head as i almost bobble her over i think there might be one of these that exists for mario from the gamecube and also one from fox but i've never found them in the wild before then some die cast mario kart little figurines especially considering hot wheels is so popular right now with mario not just lego and then we have the earthbound set of figures these are the larger figures there's also smaller ones that are maybe a third of the size these ones feel like they're actually made from clay i do have a video up about these guys on youtube already great attention to detail fantastically designed and not only are they out for mother too which is earthbound but they're also out for mother one they're just very very expensive most of them are at least like 50 bucks a pop now which is crazy below that we have fire emblem and kirby so six different characters from fire emblem before fire emblem got really popular over here the last one here though his hand broke off i tried gluing it back and it fell off so it's just kind of behind him on the shelf and another one broke and i found a new one at a game swap which was really neat five different kirbys all looking very cute different kirby variations with a pink little fluff ball right here it's almost the same design every single time for kirby so it's great to see them in different suits basically because that's really neat and then below that we have legend of zelda i'll see if i can get the light on this a little bit better slightly better anyways these are all these different various figures that i've got throughout the years some of them are a lot smaller from choco eggs like these ones that are closest to us the set of four of them here are more expensive and harder to find and then we have the horse editions so we have zelda and impa are the ones i'm missing they're supposed to be in the middle of there but i do have those factory sealed which i'll show you in a little bit and we also have ganondorf from the wii u we have a world nintendo link and then majora's mask from the 3ds edition of majora's mask below that we've got pokemon and pikmin so the pokemon figures i remember unboxing these guys love pokemon with team rocket we got ash we got misty and we have brock and then really tiny we have all these pikmin figures which are really expensive and hard to find as well let me just turn off this light maybe i'll make the a little bit better i'm not sure if that's better or worse so finding these little mini characters are great and expensive to find and try and buy off ebay especially however they're so tiny that if i ever had really small kids in here i would probably want to put them on a higher shelf because someone could probably grab them and maybe accidentally swallow them the last row here is my mega man figures we kind of have red and then we have blue on the other side mega man there's two different variations of him here obviously so you see two of them so that's kind of really neat to get and just try and collect these sort of things especially like i said what did we do before amiibo were a thing i tried to create my own whole collection sticking with figures i do have three up here of yoshi mario and luigi and then i have all these other figures kind of in this space so we've got yoshi's down here that are just from japan i believe these were originally knock-offs so i don't think that these are authentic but they look just as good as world of nintendo which i will get to in a moment so we've got five yoshi colors we've got mario luigi on the side of my tv five toads and then also two more toads with toadette and i believe that is toadstool toadsworth right there as well we also have all the koopa kids i say all but one of them likes to say geronimo and fall off the top sometimes so let's put him back beside wendy right here just gotta try and prop him up so he doesn't fall over again which is really common come on bud you got this there we go that looks pretty good so all the koopa kids right here they kind of look adorable i love the koopa kids but i think they should bring them back into games and make their fights a lot more unique they just feel like the same kind of fight every single time and i know i really liked having the brutals i think the brutals are really cool in super mario odyssey something different but they can use the koopa kids just kind of vary it up a little bit more on top here we've got a fire mario and bowser they just didn't really fit anywhere else and they're kind of on top of the space right by the mario wall which makes sense and i also have a micro lens set right here and i'm wearing a christmas sweater right here of mario that you can see of course other little mario things in the room we have world nintendo castle right here which is a good transition into world of nintendo and other figures but before i get to that too far i do want to just mention a few more that i have from hot wheels i do have mario luigi yoshi princess peach bowser toad and donkey kong there's way more that are released than those now i think for that series more figures these ones are factory sealed i already mentioned these in the poke wall but we've got the nine evolutions from gen 1 gen 2 and gen 3 along with a in frame kind of sealed pokemon set of all 151 figures jumping to the side nintendo room here are all of my factory sealed figures that i have quite a bit actually once i threw them all up on this shelf i was pretty surprised so just starting at the top kind of continuing the world of nintendo stuff just to mention that's the bowser's castle and then i have figma figures not that many of them right now i have on display an empty box so it's not factory sealed for kid icarus i do have that figure on display but then we have samus we have a few different variations of link for pokemon these are different tommy packs of pokemon so not only do i have the first three generations i also have the ones from x and y right here factory sealed still of course and then i also have this one from one of the gens i can't remember what gen this one's from for oshawott oshawott what gen is this one i can't remember what gem that is i want to say it's around black and white but i'm not positive and i also have a sealed bulbasaur ivysaur and venusaur from tommy and then a ashes battle arena back there that was given to me by tommy themselves a little while ago below that we have some mario figures so on the left here before amiibo were a thing i collected the series 2 series 3 and series 4 of the mario minifigure collections i don't have series 1 i kind of want to get it and i also kind of want to sell this off at some point it's neat to have but i feel like amiibo and world of nintendo took over instead same thing with diecast this is mario kart ds and mario kart wii three different figures die cast i got from target before they closed down in my area which was kind of sweet to find those they were not 1999 they were definitely on sale and then mario bros the movie mario and luigi looking terrible that movie is awful and also so good at the same time below that we have legend of zelda we have the superstars we have impa with zelda link and also ganondorf along with their respective horses and we also have the only lego i have for mario so far is the starter course along with the super mushroom surprise is what it's called i think i might get into nintendo lego next year in 2021 obviously you can tell i have so much stuff in here already it's crazy the only other thing i should mention is i do have an amiibo stand in box over here because i have one opened already in display in the nintendo room so that's all of my sealed figures in this space the world of nintendo figures are fantastic to collect there are the larger four-inch figures then there's two and a half inch figures micro land figures and even some larger ones and a lot of plush as well look at all the mario editions that are out and i don't even have the one that's from mario maker that's finally the end of mario there are so many that i lost track for a while and i've been trying to create my own database of all of them these aren't sorted by series these are sorted by character order nintendo has since changed the way that these look in the packaging so they've updated it and they're almost now exclusively mario characters being released very infrequently do i think there's any other characters for other series when nintendo decided to change the way that the packaging looks for all of them i decided to get out of the collecting game of world of nintendo look at this it's ridiculous i mean the whole room is ridiculous let's not let's not get carried away it obviously is ridiculous but i just thought i don't have any more room to display all of them and it was a great point for me to stop and kind of say like okay that's enough of that basically so that's the end of the four inch figures then there are the smaller two and a half inch figures look at all of these marios and all these power-ups and everything there are so many they even have trophy series they even have 8-bit series they just keep pumping them out and they have so many of them the yoshis they just release almost all the different colors of yoshi's which is cool to collect and try and display all of them if you ever wanted i really like how we did get wario waluigi and bowser jr though in that set because they do look really cool so many for the mario series and then it transitions to the legend of zelda for the legend of zelda they predominantly seem to focus on wind waker and majora's mask for some reason i wish they got into the other series they did for the four inch line but they didn't for these for some reason and then also the original legend of zelda but there's so many other games that they could draw from then we have the metroid series we just get two from that one there are various packs that sometimes have many of the different characters from that series you could get a samus with like three different metroids i think in one pack which is kind of neat then you have the donkey kong series so there's five of these right here i believe this is all of them just the main staples donkey kong diddy kong dixie kong cranky kong and then an 8-bit donkey kong as well next up is animal crossing with villager kk slider and tom nook and then pikmin with olimar four of the pikmin colors but not the pink pikmin for some reason and also olimar as a prototype series then from splatoon we get three squid colors while i'm up here these are the six different tape racers that i have there's more of these i think there's a whole other line it's really interesting that bullet bill is its own character here because i don't think bullet bill was a playable character that's kind of interesting and cool all at the same time more from world of nintendo are the larger figures these ones are six to eight inches we've got bowser donkey kong metroid and ganondorf these are all huge it makes sense because they're kind of boss figures so i understand why they made them so large there's only series one one and series one two and they never made more in this size in this style ever again after that there's the tiny figures called microland sets now these are fantastic you have the first series of micro land which basically shows a deluxe set for acorn planes from new super mario bros u and also for the desert so this one is called layer cake deserts beyond that though you have different style packaging again this one goes back to acorn plains there's two different ones for that one and then there's two for layer cake desert but then after that they released only worlds three and four and then they stopped so this is called frosted glacier there's two different ones right there and then after that we have sparkling water as i believe what this is called and this one is called so i wish they went through all eight levels in the game or nine actually that would have been really cool but they stopped after the first four in addition to that they have little mini packs of three that you can get in different series so this is series one one there's six of them in series one one in series one two you add more characters a lot of them just have another mario at some points there's six of those as well but then series one three was only three packs of golden figures after that there was a series 1-4 but it was the legend of zelda so then you had outset island as this micro land pack and king of red lions and you also had smaller forms here of outset island hyrule castle and also the ocean the open ocean i should say next up we have the plush for world of nintendo with link mario and luigi these are as pillows basically but i don't think i'd use them as a pillow they're just great little display pieces then we have all the mario line which i will go through splatoon as well star fox and animal crossing and pikmin and zelda so let's go through this we have fire mario ice mario tanooki suit mario regular white tanooki suit mario cat suit and metal mario looking awesome i am missing the penguin suit mario on the next line we have a baby mario kind of rounding out all the marios with baby luigi diddy kong baby kong or baby donkey kong and we have luigi pinkyoshi green yoshi and cat toad i am missing cat luigi and i think i'm also missing the blue yoshi from these then we have two goombas making different faces monty mole bonsai bill chain chomp and a bullet bill then we have a cheap sheep a boo a piranha plant a shy guy a blooper and a red bubble as well as a coin block a warp block or a green block a question block and a ba-bomb and also the red back there the red mushroom the star that's hard to see and the back there is a shell now those all make sound so let me see if i can get one of them to make a sound for you there we go so those ones those seven have a sound bite installed inside of them so they say try me basically on the sticker all right next up is five different bloopers these are not bloopers these are squids from splatoon so it's cool to get all five of those different colors those are cool the green one's the most rare i think out of those five then we have three only three where is slippy from star fox you got papi falco and fox but no slippy that upsets me world nintendo come on then we have three characters of course from animal crossing you've got tom nook you have rover and you have timmy and tommy just as one because they're the same i guess and then also you have legend of zelda you've got link outside link and tingle and then you have all five of the pikmin just to mention the world of nintendo i do have a sealed collection also even more sealed world nintendo and doubles everything that got throughout the years so many duplicates on sale buy two get one free and so forth and i got them in trades and everything so the six inch and the four inch figures i've got a lot of them as well as the micro lan sets some of the two and a half inch line over here and then even some duplicates of the world nintendo plush i have over there i don't know if these will go up or go down i don't know what to do with these probably trade them off and see if i can get other items i'm missing in my collection so many world of nintendo items the very last part of world of nintendo is this huge 20-inch tall fire mario not sure why that's not a regular mario and then on the other side of my magazines is link this one's from series 1-3 but there's a more limited one that's the exact same that is released in this gold box back here that does have a little bit of damage on it so that's pretty neat i do want to mention i have sonic in my nintendo room because i grew up on sonic so sonic's right here love the guy loved the games had to mention that as well and this is a good transition because both of them are kind of lining my nintendo power magazines mario on one side then we have sonic on the other with link my bookends to all of my guides speaking of the guides let's go through all of my nintendo power magazines and my walkthroughs for the games this is a complete collection of nintendo power magazines except for i think one addition i counted them and i can't quite yet find the one that i'm missing so i am going to change the way that i display these in the near future because right now all the spines are covered up so i should probably display them the exact opposite way the reason why i did this is because i want issue one out front facing but i probably should have put each of them in front and then the one on the right side would be the one that's exposed just at least so i could read all the spines nintendo power is something that has been increasing in value over time most people got rid of them they thought they were worthless so many of these have really useful posters inside that i did mention so if you can find an issue for cheap that has a poster in it that's a pretty cool way of getting display piece on your wall possibly for a series that you really like most of these you can probably find for like three to five dollars each but a lot of them are becoming more rare and now people are asking on ebay for like fifteen dollars for a certain issue so it really depends issue 1 and issue 285 the last issue are amongst the most expensive ones to try and get so collecting nintendo power has been a lot of fun i made this display myself and i will talk about that more in a moment and i even printed this nintendo power little sign down here which is probably this is probably one of the coolest displays in my collection i really like this the colors pop and it's a perfect way to use the space behind the couch it works really nicely behind that i have all of my guides for games so guides from nintendo power mostly that's what i'm trying to focus on i do have donkey kong the trilogy donkey kong 64 banjo tsui but not banjo kazooie quite yet this is conquerors bad fur day goldeneye perfect dark star fox pikmin metroid then some from the pokemon series super smash brothers then the super mario rpg line basically i do use those quite often when i was playing the games i used this one originally when i was growing up for the original paper mario game on the n64 then super mario sunshine double dash just love the gamecube also this one is for i believe new super mario bros then the legend of zelda i've got several guides for this but not only do i have all of these i do have more guides in the room elsewhere there's my nintendo power magazines we're now in between the two chairs behind so right here we have guides for the legend of zelda most of them came in this very cool chest that you can use to display as well from the legend of zelda so this series is fantastic a few of them were not released in this box set so you had to get them separately and this one right here for example for triforce heroes doesn't even match up the rest doesn't match the rest of them basically with the spine up here we have the comics for the legend of zelda and then all of my different club nintendo accessories we have some cards we have hanafuda cards we also have a coin set that is from xenoblade chronicles last story and pandora's tower then we have this right here looks really cool i'll put it right down there just so that we can see it from nintendo the figurine and luigi's mansion as well as a coin for the year of luigi's right here kind of hard to make out this coin when it's in the case so that's pretty cool we also have a pin set right there lastly kind of in terms of guides right in between the two chairs i have hyrule historia and super mario bros encyclopedia so these are great little pieces that you can sit down and have a read if you just want to get into the series or anything like that and i also have two smaller books right here for zelda and for mario as well as a piranha plant lamp some more on that let's get to all these cool little unique items in the collection that i have this piranha plant lamp looks better than it actually works it does work on batteries it has three different forms of turning on basically and it doesn't really provide that much light it's just a really nice neat piece to have on a desk or somewhere like this in a collection this is a mario lamp with a drawstring with mario on the end of it which is kind of fun the theme on the bottom even looks like it's from new super mario brothers so that one works pretty nicely because otherwise the space in the room is kind of dark beside that i have a question mark block that you actually hit here is a lamp modeled after super mario bros 1 that uses a controller design to turn it on and off the a button turns it on the b button turns it off and the d-pad arrows turned it up or down in terms of brightness the start and select buttons do nothing though i do have a video up about that and the last one is this chain chomp block light so this one looks fantastic you turn this on with a switch that i have right here on and off and i just love the look of this really nice having that in the collection the last light that i should mention that isn't really a light that's back here this is part of the metroid series this is something that lights up as metroid or samus's canon arm cannon it's really hard to get back there and turn it on but that's new to this year's video another thing that isn't really a light is this arcade cabinet that i have right here for the original donkey kong from nintendo this is from 1981 it is original look at the artwork on this it looks hilarious i'll even turn this on just to show you what it looks like look at that it's even blinking probably on the screen as i recorded but it's not here in person and my wife and i can actually play this from time to time i sit down and say hey try this out and she does and it's it's awesome just basically to share that kind of thing with her i really do want to get an arcade cabinet donkey kong would be the main big arcade cabinet i would love to get one day other cool electronic pieces i have in here is an 8-bit dew or 8-bit dough this is a speaker cube basically with a d-pad as the power and you can turn the volume up and down and change songs like that as well so this is really neat they sell these for like 20 bucks basically that you can find i have one pixel pal right here of mario giving the peace sign so on the back of this you can put batteries in it you can turn it on and off which is kind of neat this one belongs right between my desk right here i have a donkey kong little holder here for my pens and various memory cards and stuff like that and donkey kong kind of protects guard over there but i also have this mouse that's new also from 8bitdo this one actually works wirelessly on your computer in the bottom of this is the usb that you plug into your computer and then you can use this for scrolling and zooming and you can use this as your left click and your right click and there's a touch sensitive pad right in the middle which is pretty unique this is a hyperkin super nintendo themed mouse not mouse keyboard right here it does light up as you can see the lights are on right now let me just turn them to off and blinking mode basically so that's really neat eventually i do want to have that on my super nintendo themed desk which i will get around to showing you even more of another electronic item in my collection is this working mario kart now it doesn't really work that great with someone who weighs over 150 pounds obviously it's made for kids but it is something that you can kind of put your feet up on maybe on this blue little platform right here and you can technically ride this my wife and i have kind of written around the street just looking absolutely hilarious in this thing prices for this have gone a little bit crazy it's not usually selling for over 200 us dollars that is and i just think it's a great piece to have in my collection i saw it in a gaming store locally and i was really jealous and i thought wow what a cool item if i can get that somehow and eventually put it in my room so i did find it used you can find it new still in box but even those go for double the 200 what a cool thing it does have sound effects and it does have the gas pedal and everything works i do have a second one of these in the garage but it's much more sun faded than this one is and i even have a blue shell chasing after it with all my mario kart posters back there too after all those electronics it's a good time to talk about my gaming setup i have eight cubbies below my tvs that have the ability to show every single home console even though some of them like the wii u is backwards compatible with the wii i still thought it would be a good idea to have every single system displayed here and some different special editions so we've got the nes down there with some controllers the super nintendo with the famicom controller and super mario world looks like it's in the box right now or it's in the deck then we have a jungle green n64 with super mario 64 and four different jungle green controllers right here with the rumble pack then we have the nintendo gamecube with four different colors as well and we also have the game boy players installed below there so we can play handheld games on one of the big screens and we have the nintendo wii the red one the reason why i want red is because we have red and green it's like christmas colors right now and then we have the wii u and of course also my nintendo switch which kind of says like it's almost out of battery because my wife and i were gaming recently and some controllers for it as well that work on the nintendo switch online now when i run out of controllers or if something goes wrong or if someone doesn't want to use those variations this is something i don't show very often but back here i have all these extra controllers kind of ready to go this is the atomic purple and the smoke black controller the bongos for donkey konga even some wave birds and other controllers everything's ready to go down here and also in my nes coffee table which opens up i have extra cords that look like they're a bit of a mess everywhere just in case i need to get to some accessories like the zapper guns or a super nintendo mouse or more rumble packs or anything like that or one of the cables to connect your handheld system to the nintendo gamecube tons of accessories just kind of here in my table that opens up if you never knew that opened up it's pretty cool more about that a little bit later also in terms of electronics you might be wondering what cds am i gaming on well i like the sony trinitron i actually have a backup in my garage that's just too big to move down here because this one sometimes gives me some issues when i'm changing inputs and then i have an hdtv that's not great it needs to be updated i just really like it because the size is great and it's the same height as the other one i have a third screen that's in this space right here in case someone wants to play another game separately and room to put one more if we want right there but then when i am playing games or streaming or editing videos i have a three screen set up over here i have my own crt tv with a splitter so that the game systems can all connect to this one other than the hd systems so i can game right here if i want to stream or play games on the computer or anything like that sitting at the computer then an hdtv that i can hook up the hd systems to and my monitor for my computer but both of these work with my computer monitor as well so that means i have six screens in here during mariothons and zeldathons where we when we raise money for charity we use all six screens and sometimes a seventh screen which makes me want to mention i do have the hooks right up here installed it's kind of hard to see so that a projecting screen does hook up to here and i am going to mount a projector in this space so i can put down the projecting screen and put it up if i want and then when we're doing mariothons i can project from my computer what's going on onto that screen because i know i should probably get a better tv at some point but that's what i want to do with my entire setup how am i switching between all the systems and only the tvs that i have i do have a four port splitter right here where the nes the super nintendo the n64 and the gamecube all connect to this and all i have to do is to hit the buttons basically to change between all of them to finish off my gaming setup i have to mention this couch this couch is gigantic it actually came from my wife's grandma now my grandma of course so this has at least six seats on it but you can sit probably eight people on this quite comfortably six you're very comfortable on this i'm looking to replace this couch because to be honest some of the springs aren't working as well anymore it's probably 20 years old 15 to 20 years old it just fits so well in this space and i like how each individual piece is modular and you can move them around and design it the way you want not only that but i do have two more chairs back here so you can kind of just be in the waiting ground read some nintendo power magazines and read up right there and you can also participate in the action and then i have four seats over there as part of the pokeball table not only that let's get to the different things that i have here in terms of blankets and pillows and stuff like that so i've got a mario kart 7 blanket mario sunshine pillow mario galaxy then mario party 6 mario kart then the legend of zelda this is com in combination with pokemon so it's actually a super smash brothers uh pillow another super smash brothers one zelda 25th anniversary several ones from link from various games including way too many from ocarina of time really love ocarina of time so many iconic fights right here with bulvasia with ganondorf that i had to get those and i also have one for super mario odyssey which is a blanket and then over here i have another blanket which is for super mario that's there i also have a few uh pokemon blankets that are around i'm not sure where my wife is using them right now and then on one of the chairs i have a super mario odyssey pillow and on the other chair i have a pokemon pillow that has some of the different pokemon on there not just pikachu which is quite cool i like these just having these in the space which makes it a little bit better for gaming sometimes in place of the nintendo power magazines during the thons the zelda thought and mariothon for charity we put a bar table so that you can watch and overlook everything that's going on as well so in total in here we can have like 12 to 15 people sitting down quite comfortably we also have a nintendo fridge as part of this setup the nintendo fridge is working it's actually a keg fridge that i won for free and it happened to be nintendo red which was so wonderful not only does this place have a nintendo fridge but it also has a bathroom over here which i will show you i didn't have time or money to work on this right now but i will show you what the bathroom looks like voice change in the bathroom so in here we have a clock for mario we have a super mario bros 3 designed item that i put here with each of the worlds kind of like that beer pong flip cup table some mario items the nintendo power poster a double dash poster which looks cool and a towel that's actually controller themed so in here my idea is to take down all the wallpaper paint the walls blue put up mario decals and truly turn this into a mario washroom once i have the time and you know the budget and everything to get going on it we just ran out of some time and money ran out of money look at this place but it's true you gotta prioritize and we haven't been prioritizing that bathroom so technically during 2020 if you never want to leave this basement i guess you didn't you don't have to considering there's a fridge and there's also a bathroom setup next up i'm going to talk about the things that i made or designed for the space i'm going to start with this nes coffee table this is one of the best things i think i ever made i designed this and hand painted the top of it and printed out some decals for the custom work like the lettering and it really does look spectacular the reason why i like this table is not only does it function like a table but it also lifts up and it acts like one of those coffee tray tables that you can eat at if you're sitting on the couch it's a little bit high for this couch but i am going to update the couch at some point because the couch is really old also though it has storage so not only is there storage underneath in that first section there look at those mario socks on it has storage underneath here with all my controllers and my remotes but it also has storage in the table it normally only has storage on both sides but i added a shelf in the middle to store even more stuff so i can have all of that out of the way also when you're putting it away i can do this with like one finger or one hand it goes away nicely gently doesn't cause any damage to this and it's also on wheels it just doesn't wheel that great on carpet also in this space i have a table for the nintendo 64 a table for the nintendo gamecube but hopefully i want to update those within the next year or two and make my own custom and maybe logo table and maybe even a custom gamecube design table we'll see if i get around to that for the next room tour in 2021 in this space is also a wii remote table that you'll see over here the only problem with this one is i lost the plus sign that should be right there on the controller but otherwise this one's from ikea you can just print your own things kind of put them down on the table and it works really nicely and it does have a shelf for storage that i have a mario blanket on that right now over here is my super mario brothers 3. this is a beer pong and flip cup table otherwise known as that activity table that i'm currently using as my desk which isn't fantastic more on that in a bit so i designed this with sprite work and i literally cut every single sprite out on this table pixel by pixel for all of them and then glued them down to the table and then i urethaned over top of it after i painted it blue this had quite a bit of fair use the reason why it is four levels on one side so you have grassland desert land water world or water land and then big land that is for four spots to basically play flip cup originally then you have the bowser's castle and it's really hard to see on this side but we have the sky we had the ice world we had the pipe world and we had bowser's castle or bowser right there as well so that was insane how long this took making this table back in the day i probably spent two to three hundred hours cutting out all these things while i was doing different things while i had some time on break anything like that basically so it's just a normal table with foldable legs but i do want to update this table at some point for a better desk before i get to that better desk i just want to mention this pokeball table over here that's kind of been in the video the whole time this is just a circular table that i painted to look exactly like a pokeball and then i found these four stools at target before they closed that perfectly fit underneath the table really nicely in this space they don't really block that much of a view if they had a back they would it's great for maybe sitting down for a little while but it's not great for sitting down for a really long time other things in this space that i have designed are the beam block so if you look up to the ceiling there's beam blocks a beam block all the way throughout the nintendo room so i designed this with my wife my buddy luca printed all these decals for me going all the way down the entire nintendo space and my wife and i put these up together and it took hours and hours to do it but the final product does look spectacular it looks really cool especially anything that's actually in 3d i do have a video about this as well on my youtube channel not only do we put up all of these we also put up some other decals so we put up some i guess clouds on the sky but not only do we put up clouds throughout that space this entire space has clouds on it if you just kind of look at the ceiling and there's also an angry sun in the middle of the nintendo room right here looking so angry so cool over where you sit which is really quite something i think it's ridiculous so the last thing that we did with these decals is we covered up this block right here it's kind of a pillar support system in this room so on the one side we have luigi with a one up but on the other side of course we have mario getting a star and a goomba at the bottom and in addition to that we also have the flooring by the mario kart so the flooring is something that's actually quite slippery i put down anti-slip or anti-skid but i need to try and change that and fix that when i need to do the room floor or over there eventually when i get to the room floor i'll probably update this so enjoy this i'm not sure how much longer this lasts in that design but i do think it looks remarkable it just is pretty slippery so other things that i've made of course is this secret door right here so i'm just mentioning that one more time when you open this up you'll hear the zelda sound effect and that takes us over here into my next space so this is the super nintendo table that i've been working on i would say it's over halfway done the decals on it as i said are not glued down or anything like that i got a table i cut it to the design i wanted i painted it by color matching and then i printed these decals and i want to glue them down after i paint the circle and various other items on the table so this will hopefully eventually be my desk if not a bar table sitting at the back of the couch now that this room is being finished not only did i make that i just want to also show you my original nintendo entertainment system table that is over here i had originally put this up for sale and sold it but then the guy backed out so i still have it not sure what to do with this i would love to sell it locally and donate most of the proceeds to charity so hopefully that's something i look into doing over the next two weeks or so if you do live in the greater toronto area in canada and you are interested in purchasing this feel free to email me my email is on the about tab in my youtube channel just kind of a cool little item and i would love to give back to charity at this time of year especially considering i can't do the zeldathon this year which is being really frustrating but we all have to be patient the other things i designed were all the signs the nintendo space that you kind of see around the room as well which leads me nicely into the posters so let's talk about all the posters in my space next to start off the over 40 posters i have up in the nintendo space we have these from club nintendo i mentioned earlier in the video i'll just show them off really quickly we have one from donkey kong one of diddy kong and donkey kong one for mario one for skyward sword and then one for twilight princess and lastly one for zelda's 25th anniversary right here so it's great having these posters in the space i would love to put more posters up in this space especially along this wall because there's nothing and maybe something right here too it's just so dark coming down in this hallway i almost want to get an electrician one day to properly install a light as you come down the staircase so that's the first six then there are three for donkey kong country right here the trilogy's so good my wife loves that trilogy and i feel like mario got his start right there in donkey kong so i have to give some love and some respect to the donkey kong series and i love the donkey kong country series it's so good the platforming on the super nintendo moving on to other posters we have the nintendo logo up there but it doesn't count as a full poster we have super mario rpg i just thought i had to put that poster up somewhere with super mario galaxy 2 one of the best mario games of all time i really wish that comes to the nintendo switch then we have super mario kart mario kart double dash and mario kart 8 with an eat my shell the reason why those are there for mario kart is kind of this is a mario kart little zone right here with my working mario kart and the mario kart posters then we have the ones that i made of course that i've already mentioned behind the gamecube and nintendo signs which leads us into the star fox little zone love how they actually got puppets made so that they could film or at least take pictures of this i used to love star fox it was so good and i feel like it's lost its way for the last little bit star fox 2 had to get a poster of that as well especially when it finally came out north america on the super nintendo classic edition then we have star fox 64. maybe not the best poster just so nostalgic for me i wish we have a larger fox in the r wing in this poster it's right there in the bottom just so you can note but it's just such a cool item and it's such a cool poster to have moving on from that we have my zelda posters which i showed as part of my zelda wall but here is the breath of the wild poster perfectly encapsulates the game in climbing then ocarina of time i love that fight with ganondorf so memorable we have the decals on the side from majora's mask as well as the legend of zelda wind waker poster that is my favorite zelda game along with ocarina of time and breath of the wild it's hard to always any day i could change my list like value up there too on that poster in ganondorf in the background and all those characters here is a link between world's poster it is a really neat colorful poster that fits well in this space i needed another zelda poster that was horizontal like this and this perfectly fit in and it's also a great game the other majora's mask decal that i showed off moving next over here we have a secret of mana and a fire emblem poster so let me just bring you over to those secretive mana poster here is one of my favorite posters and art pieces i have ever seen the cover for this game is very similar we have just a giant tree the characters right down there and it looks like they're about to fight against or at least battle it i mean it's it's so beautiful i love this one with the red birds on it too down here is from this year fire emblem shadow dragon in the blade of light this poster seems like it's maybe from europe though in terms of sizing it was released in north america and i thought i would put this up we have the grid system background i did just unbox that 30th edition of the bundle that has no actual game just tons of cool physical goodies including an acrylic cartridge and then the super smash brothers for everything we have the smash poster up there from nintendo force magazine as well as the really long diorama of everyone is here all the characters then four more posters from club from nintendo power mega man x and banjo kazooie and then metroid prime 2 echoes and super metroid along with this cannon that's there for metroid i thought i would just make this little metroid area to give metroid more love for the mario posters we have a mario tennis poster is up on the side of one of the bookcases a super mario poster from club nintendo a large super mario bros 3 poster and a super mario odyssey poster that i designed to be that size so it could fit inside this space on the side of this space here it looks like we lost mario party 4 i think my wife might have just borrowed that for a second i wonder if it fell maybe during the video too alright so we've got f-zero from nintendo power we have splatoon that i just got that poster i think is a pre-order we have pikmin that came out of a magazine i believe and then diddy kong racing because again that game needs more love hey there's the game right there it did fall over i'll put it back in a moment then we have a pokemon gotta catch em all poster from nintendo power a kirby poster that i decide to print it baffles me that nintendo almost never puts out a poster of kirby that i just couldn't find one especially of that size from nintendo power 285 issues of nintendo power over 100 of them have a poster and no posters of kirby that's baffling then we have pit from kid icarus here as well that i thought this is from the mario superstars i believe and also from that series is luigi's mansion a poster with him and king boo it looks like lastly or getting close to the end of the posters we have an ash ketchum with pikachu poster as well as a decal like i said for pokemon gotta catch em all such a cool poster collection it's crazy that there's over 40 posters in this space that is a lot i'm fortunate to have that much space and be able to put them up and actually after i put these up my wife said they look spectacular i was always kind of hesitant about putting them down the hallway i want the nintendo room kind of separated from the rest of our house but it looks so good i definitely have to find more frames and put them up on the other side for next year's room tour as a part of the room tour this year i want to give you a little bit of a side room tour that i've been working on over here so in this side nintendo room this pivots open it swings all the way by the way so we can turn this and it perfectly just sits right in spot right there so when that is done we can also open up this one too but then i would be blocking off the space a little bit so this can open up eventually i might not even have doors on here and i might just open up this space entirely so it's part of the nintendo room and it's truly a full expansion you can tell that i've been doing some work in here i put up some drywall i have a ladder here that i've been framing the basement right here i also have done a little bit of the drywall work on this side of the room but there's just more to go so what do i have in here right now well i have all my sealed amiibo which i should have already shown you in the video as well as a lot of my other world nintendo items and some nintendo labo that i've just been saving because i just really think with labo especially with the future people are going to use them and i want my children one day to be able to enjoy labo and i don't want them to miss out on that opportunity so i got them while they were on sale because i thought it was definitely worth it also pokemon snaps coming out so you might want to consider trying to get one of those for pokemon snap i would love to frame around this right here and do it properly and safe so i'm kind of leaving lots of space to kind of build a proper door for that because obviously that's where our electrical panel is rock band by the way do you guys prefer rock band or guitar hero i'm more of a rock band person in terms of a band but i really like guitar hero if i'm playing individually as the guitar earlier in this video this actually was guitar hero and i swapped it out for rock band love it especially the drums with the cymbals lots of fun also in here is my clothing collection which i will get to specifically right now so let's go through everything i have for the first time for clothing for nintendo i'm just going to start this off with a few other blankets that i should have mentioned up here i have one for mario one for the nes and then one for super mario odyssey below that i have my hat collection for nintendo roughly 12 hats enough this is probably my favorite one the nintendo 64 one i wear this one in public probably the most then we have another one for n64 and one for the super nintendo i'll put the link to the gentleman who's selling these it's throwbackgamer on instagram even this right here he sent those to me and they are fantastic i love wearing this one in the winter where i am in canada it gets pretty cold and we're all about wearing our toques then for pokemon i've got a blastoise one because that's one of my favorite characters if not my favorite pokemon the starters i had frash ketchum that i used for my halloween costume and a team rocket but i'm not sure how often i'll wear team rocket just seems like i'm evil a mario hat i made when i was mario for halloween one year zelda hats two of them i prefer to wear the black one usually and a zelda tsuk as well then we have some puma shoes and some van shoes these are brand new i'm actually getting this pair for christmas from my wife so thanks again to her for letting me include these in the video these are super mario 64 shoes they even have a star for mario on the back they even have a super mario 64 level inside something really sweet then we have these van little mini shoes that i really want to give to my nephew but he outgrew them way too fast so i'm holding on to them for the next child in our family because i thought those are just they're too cute they were the right deal and then super mario shoes also from puma these ones are wonderfully designed as well with mario on the back we have the blocks they're so cool they're almost worthy of me talking about their own video below that are all of my t-shirts for nintendo all of them i think i might be missing one or two that's elsewhere so the idea here is mario shirts so many mario shirts then nintendo other shirts for the nintendo entertainment system some more mario shirts some donkey kong shirts are over there then we have the legend of zelda shirts i have like seven or eight of those and then pokemon shirts my wife's evie shirt that she said please put this in the video all the evolutions are on that shirt which she loves some more pokemon shirts a splatoon shirt kirby sonic and even chrono trigger that is a lot of different clothing items basically that i have that i just never included in the video before we also have a belt buckle over there for paper mario and one just with the one up basically mushroom from mario tons of clothes but that's not all there's more clothes out from nintendo these are also from puma so we have a galaxy shirt right here we have a super mario galaxy hoodie a super mario sunshine hoodie a super mario 64 one and a super mario 64 t-shirt right here love that one with the wing cap and even a nintendo 64 button up that's not from puma i just want to include those as part of my clothing line as well my wife is giving me some of these for christmas and for my birthday so i really just wanted to include them in this video to be full encompassing of everything and i put this bar up there just for this video because behind here is the furnace space we're kind of blocking it off like this beside all the clothes in the nintendo room i also have all the sealed figures that i already talked about but below the sealed figures i have a lot of my sealed items that i really haven't shown off before previously like sealed accessories and games so these are two factory sealed items from japan this is the rf modulator there's 10 of them in here i actually have two of these with 10 inside and these are the rumble packs also 10 pieces inside never used directly from the factory kind of really interesting to have these in my collection not sure what to do with them some controllers that were technically sealed at one point but they're not in great condition a lot of these were never actually factory sealed from the company this is a rechargeable battery pack for the gamecube two controllers for the gamecube as well this one looks really faded though these two are for the nintendo switch i believe there's the super nintendo controllers for the switch still sealed in the package and then here are all of my sealed games i actually have a lot more sealed games they are located in the nintendo room but if i had a double i have the game open then i would put the sealed copy over here in the fact that i only have one copy even if it's sealed it would be with the rest of the games so i have a few special editions up here like xenoblade and fire emblem and street fighter from the re-release of capcom the legacy cartridge collection some sealed gamecube games notable is debating kaito's origins fantasy star online and wave race then sealed wii games here i think the metroid games are pretty cool that factory sealed as well as the pikmin games the last story i have two copies of that factory sealed the special edition amiibo fest never mind then some wii u sealed games as well so the wii u sealed ones i have mario and sonic of the 2014 olympics some other mario games super smash brothers xenoblade yoshi's woolly world i got all these for a really good deal and then star fox guard i have ds games right here factory sealed as well a lot of these i bought for like five or ten dollars each steel diver i bought for a buck it's not a very good game i just happened to find it and then back there i have any duplicates or steel cases or anything else that i have factory sealed that i've just been collecting throughout the years as great trading pieces beside that kind of to continue my doubles i guess you could call them i have a white wii u right here as well as three controllers the mario luigi and peach controller and the wii u pro controller still factory sealed and a controller from controller chaos that they custom made for me this one looks great with that samus edition honeycomb design that i asked for them so that's really cool and then i have down here i have a frogger arcade that matches the donkey kong arcade i'll probably clean that up and sell it it does work well these are from rose colored gaming they are n64 cases plastic cases for games and they also hold an instruction manual and a memory card and then over here are all of my empty or doubles of games that i have collected throughout the years whenever i do a condition upgrade i usually just put the box over here sometimes i buy the box alone so some of these do have games in them some of them are just empty most of them are empty on the top row most of the ones in the second row have games inside for trading pieces gamecube i keep finding gamecube bundles and then i keep the games and use them as trading pieces so i do have some for the super nintendo some for the nintendo 64 and even a lot for the wii down here tons for the wii down here that i've been collecting every single time i buy a lot every time i buy a lot of wii games it seems to come with mario galaxy 2 donkey kong country returns smash brothers brawl and like new super mario bros every single time look at how many copies i've got this year just this year of super mario galaxy 2. whenever i buy a wii collection to get one or two maybe five games new in my collection this happens over and over again and then a lot of the different pokemon games here as well as one from europe that i got swindled i thought i was buying this for north america but you can tell because it says peggy right here three plus this is not from north america that is definitely from europe so tons of duplicates for trade and things like that you can message me on instagram if you really want to make any trades i should probably put up my wanted list at some point beyond that though it's time to talk about and show off my own sega genesis cola actually wait a second before the genesis collection build that hype for another moment i have some box systems up here as well so i have the nintendo 64 jungle green set that i've kind of been saving for a friend for a long time right here then i have the fun machine nintendo 64 with two controllers that i didn't have any room to display that in the collection in the main room and another tales symphonia box that's just the empty box up there for the nintendo gamecube and something really cool this is a star wars limited edition set for the nintendo 64 unused cardboard for the console that i did buy on ebay when it was a really good deal probably six or seven years ago okay that's all the nintendo stuff now we can get to my sega genesis collection so this genesis collection is mostly exactly what i had from growing up here is a box for this original sega genesis with sonic 2 in it there's the console so nostalgic for me this is where i started my origins of gaming and all of my box genesis games so these games there's a lot of sports games in here too but there's a lot of gems i did like aladdin on the system battle toads i played a lot of bells quest whenever my sister was playing i would watch her play that one contra hard corpse great game echo the dolphin actually really difficult for me to play in 2020 earthworm gym is fantastic as is gun star heroes and ghouls and ghosts my dad and i used to play sports talk football joe montana that was a lot of fun back in the day the lion king i got a lot of use out of the mortal kombat games then we have the nba games and the nhl games a little bit out of order here but i remember the nhl games i remember going around the net for like a wrap around and then shooting to the opposite corner and scoring like every single time in some of those games pebble beach golf links i should really play that with my dad again it's been two or three it's been two decades since we played that together rock rocket knight adventurers is one of the best games on the system shinobi 3 is getting up there in price a little bit the sonic games here is my origins right here in gaming which is so cool i personally love sonic 2 and i also like sonic 3 and knuckles those are my favorites in the sonic series of all time splatterhouse 2 very expensive just like splatterhouse 3 actually as well and we have some street fighter games streets of rage strider with the most hilarious cover ever but it's actually okay game and we have tailspin i remember playing that one a lot what's this one oh this is taz escape from mars wimbledon i played a lot with my brother toe jam and earl and then comics zone is actually one of the best designed art games on the system we have risk thunder force genesis six-pack streets of rage and road rash and a game genie let me know if you ever used a game genie in your life on any system these were the jam they had so many different codes that you could use in them and unlock various things in games they were really cool next up is my sega game gear my own from my childhood this is nuts to be taking a look at this again so that i only had so many games for it and i actually i think i had a game that was in japanese soccer game because we couldn't find any soccer game in north america and we found it at a flea market or something like that so i played a lot of the sonic games the lion king and also the sports games predominantly on the go in color and i also had the magnifying glass right there and a battery pack which is connected to the back of the system that you can see right there so i didn't actually have to burn through batteries next up is my uncle's atari collection so he asked me please take this for now because he moved away and now i have his atari collection in my own collection which is kind of really neat to keep it in the family this is the super system more games more fun i have not played this that much but it's nice to hold on to this for him mainly we've got donkey kong on here et was terrible we also get pac-man and various other types of these big box games like indy 500 and star tropics here is the original system that i cleaned off just for this video as well and i do want to plug it in and try it out which is really cool again to keep that in the family i think there's one for mario on the original atari that i should probably be looking into getting as well at some point lastly on the opposite side of the wall this is it for the nintendo space i have a lot of the storage boxes here that just holding various cords and items i have some duplicates of the nintendo power magazine some of them have great posters inside so i decided to keep them and then we have here all of my board games and drinking glasses up here which is kind of a really sweet thing to have down here as nintendo my wife made this suggestion for this shelf so i do want to show it off game boy stackable coffee mugs the cases for the pokemon glasses i showed beside the nintendo fridge in the other space just various i guess knickknacks you want to call them some mini little systems that were tins that i think had candies in them also some coasters right here some coaster sets from various things kind of in 3d then we have yahtzee for mario and donkey kong and super mario checkers super mario level up the board game and chess mario chess wicked set right here because it has so many different figurines in it it just sucks that you either get i think shells there's way too many shells in that set or coins as all the pawns chess went crazy this year with the queen's gambit such a good show by the way too then we have a pokemon edition of monopoly a zelda edition of monopoly and a nintendo edition of monopoly as well as uno cards that i got from one of my friends as well so thanks so much if you gave me that next up we have a zelda kind of shelf with some more glasses so drink wear right here with sauble i made this right here it's basically just a giant way of pouring then we also have a glass set for mario kart we have a glass set for zelda with it's dangerous to go alone drink this mug which i do want to start using then we have three of the cups these are really cool these are from links awakening available at 7-eleven i only found one of them locally so thank you so much for helping me get these by the way you know who you are then we have one of the door openers for the legend of zelda we also have a ds just an extra one right here the gold ds and a pez dispenser click it looks like then a lunch box for twilight princess a watch for zelda a i guess you want to call that something that goes on your key chain also another hylian shield tin that used to have candies in it a factory sealed prima book guide set as well as a sealed iron astoria and from my buddy dylan a clock that stopped working for the legend of zelda i do want to see if i can get that working again it's not just the battery the final shelf i haven't discussed yet in this nintendo space is for pokemon and pokemon cards some pokemon collecting i have mentioned already briefly i did get a charizard this year it's a level four or it's a psa i guess ksa graded four and i do have my other cards there in one of the binders however i do have these from when i used to work at gamestop they were basically selling these for a few dollars each they were factory sealed and about 10 years ago i decided to open them up and take a look for no reason two of them here i did keep factory sealed from hidden legends so i am happy i did that i also have this pikachu edition right here with the funniest eevee card i have ever seen in my life right there that is hilarious he looks like a chubby pikachu basically so i did get that directly from the pokemon company want to keep that a sword and shield booster box i guess that i unbox with jordan on this channel and an elite trainer box from cosmic eclipse for sun and moon that i have not opened yet three of the starter sets for pokemon sword and shield featuring the various different starters and main characters like cinderace intelion and rilaboom and then my own pokemon card collection down here other than charizard these are the original sets of pokemon cards so this is so cool to go through there's venusaur i am still missing blastoise i'm a champ and electabuzz i think from the first set from jungle i'm only missing a handful of cards i believe i think in jungle i might also be missing less than five down here and i should probably go through these at some point individually and then fossil would be next i'm also missing i think four or five from fossil such a cool way to collect so easy so small so much money into these cards then in a digimon binder i have the other sets like team rocket neogenesis base set two and stuff like that that i'm trying to get going on and then all of my duplicate cards as well i have a whole stack of duplicates from fossil a whole stack of duplicates from jungle and some duplicates from the original set so many down here i want to finish off with a sylveon christmas themed plush from nintendo because it is christmas happy holidays everyone by the way and then my tree falls group thank you so much for giving me this adorable blastoise i've kept it the whole time hopefully you watched this video at some point smile as well thanks for getting me that so that's an overview of the side nintendo room i really hope to finish this off properly within the next year hopefully i can hire someone to come in and do the mud and taping finish off the ceiling frame around that utility box get the flooring done as well because right now it's just concrete and finish off this space and truly expand the nintendo room into this space for the next room tour and not just do it in part thank you so much for watching my nintendo room tour for 2020 especially if you made it all the way to this point in the video this is definitely my longest youtube video of all time if you have any questions please question or comment below put a question mark in your question or in your comment i will try and find all the comments that way search for them and answer as many as i possibly can if you have any suggestions to try and make this space even better please also comment below and let me know i'm always trying to up my display game try to make things look a little bit better have gaming events with friends especially in 2021 raise money for charity and various things like that you can tell i definitely have my hands full with projects especially with the room expansion putting up posters down the staircase and trying to finish off that nintendo room if you're curious about what's behind that door right there it is just our cold cellar so that will never be part of the nintendo space now definitely a lot of you are going to ask the question though how much did it all cost keep in mind i've been a gamer for 27 years i've been seriously collecting for over 10 years to 12 years this room does not happen overnight this is a slow process this takes a long time of talking to people on forums of networking of going to swap meets of basically buying in bulk or buying a lot selling off what i don't need keeping what i want and you know here are there piecing things together and slowly building in something that builds up to this so how much did it cost well basically it all turned into being free because i made so many trades and i was so patient and i bought so many items on a really good budget over time so many of the items i have in this collection that are now considered to be worth quote unquote hundreds of dollars i paid less than a hundred dollars for and a lot of the games in my collection i paid just a few dollars for i remember finding gamecube games like a lot of gamecube games for 15 back in the day or finding inbox super nintendo games for two bucks at a garage sale and stuff like that and then i also do supplement that with youtube videos anyone can make money on youtube which is a great part of youtube so that leads me into please share your collection i would love to see what you've been collecting what you've been getting into what you've been gaming do you have your own little nintendo space playstation space xbox space pc space it doesn't matter if you're a gamer we can kind of correlate to each each other we can kind of have something in common with each other and share this passion but clearly my passion is nintendo which leads to the next question why nintendo because nintendo items kind of maintain their value and honestly they're the best multiplayer experiences that i've had with couch co-op not playing online but playing with friends on the couch which to me still feels like what gaming should be all about and that's why 2020 has been so difficult so in total what do i have in my collection i have a memory that will last a lifetime so many games for my kids to play one day i have so many toys and things that when people come over they have a great time especially taking that trip down nostalgia lane of just saying like you know i miss playing mario or zelda or pokemon or rock band or in television or sega genesis or anything like that so in total though i have roughly 800 games over 100 systems but it's not about the numbers with me it's about the feeling you get it's about stepping down into this basement and honestly it's so cool to see people's reactions i almost don't like if my wife shows this space to someone else when i'm not here just because i love seeing their reaction to this and you just don't know where to look look at everything it's crazy there's stuff everywhere i totally get that but also it's completely usable you can walk around there's enough space there's a fridge with some beverages in it you have games right here that are pretty close to where you would actually sit down and enjoy them you have tons of screens and a crt tv to game on and uh hdtv i just think it works for me and that's what really matters it works for me my wife and our family and our friends so that's it that's really cool thanks so much for watching everyone go collect them all keep smiling while gaming stay awesome and i can't wait for 2021's room tour when hopefully that space is actually done bye everyone have a great christmas have a great holiday and definitely have a happy new year 2020 is finally almost over
