this Billy Brooks is very much he's very he's prominently featured in the background [Music] booby itself well it was no good I think you're having trouble I can't believe those whooshies aren't going to show up what the hell is this I forgot I completely forgot about this movie I was like how the hell I mean we're just watching the trailer trailers don't they're not meant to give you everything but right here I was like what just happened tell me now before I go see this movie right here [Applause] have to make her say who's your daddy while respecting her as a woman the new guy okay and to make her say who's your daddy or people's funny the new guy got a lot of old as far as like humor and everything that goes on in here is a pasty [ __ ] oh boy full of old jokes I mean jokes that were old at the time yes people is an hour 25 minutes of what the hell is happening [Laughter] I have to ask myself was I like this when I was watching it at the time because I really it was like you're doing man I mean it said you would not think this if I just told you the premise you watched this trailer and you're thinking like what does any of this have to do with each other but the uh the premise for this movie you got a DJ Qualls who is uh they call it the new guy because that is old school he was uh as I showed you earlier on the in the trailer radar as a trailer showed you itself uh you know he's he's the geek the the nerd is always getting beat up at school getting mocked and made fun of and as he goes to prison and he's gonna wait till we tell you how it happens but hey we'll get into that a little while but he goes to prison where he meets when he meets Luther and Luther mentors him into how to be a badass the only thing is you can't do it at your old school because I already know that you a [ __ ] but if you find a way to get to a new school you can be as the title says the new guy who comes in starts fresh and starts to make a new name a reputation for yourself yeah rearrange yourself yeah and reinvent yourself as Madonna says now so uh now the thing with this movie is why is he on the bad movie roles is because unlike a lot of movies where it might be getting some bad reviews but some people they see it more favorable after time or it's got an audience that loves it it gets a cult classic it's got fans this movie and I'm sure this movie's the same but it's got It's one of those those films that has the red dreaded one digit approval rating or percentage or Rotten Tomatoes all right it's got seven percent on Rotten Tomatoes wow yes seven percent I mean like you surprised I ain't surprised no no no no it's it's because you're right seven percent are rotten tomatoes on IMDb 77 yeah well like I said you could never score I know exactly and I'm gonna tell you something about the audience called IMDb if you read some of the reviews even for the worst movies those people go in there joking oh they just they just they just start yeah they throw they just start giving great reviews like go look for the look go look at the reviews for uh Battlefield Earth you could tell these people are full of [ __ ] oh my God this is the most amazing science fiction film ever better than Star Wars better than Star Trek I'll be you just don't realize that you know people they go in there playing so you can't know don't ever trust the audience on the internet yeah yeah yeah no I you know after time we look at movies and even we say well listen we watch this at home it's not under the same conditions that we saw it at first and I mean maybe we feel differently about it but I can listen I would tell you this right at the beginning I can damn sure understand why all those critics hated this and why has a seven percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes that's not a big mystery no not at all this right from the beginning this this this move is desperate this is this is uh this is a desperate yeah that's the word this is this movie is a look at me do anything for a laugh movie oh God yeah it's like that kid who goes and puts on funny costumes and just does crazy dances just for attention when your parents friends you know kind of just how the movie starts sometimes I feel so nice good God hey that poor kid they pump that kid full of soda and red bulls and sugar and they just put in let his ass go yeah and open the open the cage I give it to the kid he was really into it he was that's because he's high as hell exactly boy kick it in yeah okay yeah look at me now Mommy try harder to get a kid that looks less like yeah they even have to make a joke about that in the morning which I'll tell you a little bit but so the movie starts out with young DJ Qualls whose name in the movie is dizzy before he reinvents himself and he's dancing a little kid dancing with the and his gold underwear boxes with a big ass afro wig on and looking at Disney as a kid kinda has something to do with the story but not really at all it's just it's it's I tell you what it is it's just fun to see a little white boy dance Crazy the afro wave yeah that that that's the only because you could take this out and it don't have nothing a damn thing to do with this story right here all you gotta do is mention like he was named after the Dizzy Gillespie and he likes funk music this was not necessary it was not necessary at all which by the way Dizzy Gillespie funk music not the same thing well he I'm just saying it yeah it's for some reason they were just all in the Black Culture yeah yeah what happened was they said somebody told them listen you ain't got a movie you need about three more two more minutes of some footage right here to do something hey hey [Applause] man all right why are you doing that kid hey hey you told the two hey is your Netflix your nephew still in town you still got that afro wig make it happen man yeah give them gold draws yeah so we cut to to dizzy as an adult who now we see is portrayed by DJ quas and really they must have put that in later because they have narration I don't have the clip but they have narration when you hear uh uh Eddie uh Eddie Griffin say well he grew up to be a lot skinnier a lot dorky and it's like all right you just you you shot some [ __ ] that didn't match come on yeah you put narration in lately yeah different hair yeah yeah you found a kid that doesn't look nothing like him you got to explain to that because they probably orders are tested this like I I don't who was the little kid in the beginning because he don't look like that [Music] what was that kid who was he you got a nose job [Music] yeah people like that did he get AIDS or something I'm sorry he is woefully skinny no he he he looks like a young old man in real life he had cancer did he yeah but DJ Qualls look I like him it just you know this this movie well well I'm talking about but you know he so he's a he's actually a he's he's in he's in high school now he's like 17 18 years old and um and we see uh uh how this anything for a laugh approach plays out with this character now because it plays into him becoming the new guy the title character and it all begins with him of course being a being a nerdy guy trying to talk to girls did you really think that would work no but I thought it was worth giving by the way the hottest girl at school like he didn't he didn't work his way up though hey man he he shot his uh he took his shot fell miserably but he took it did you really think that would work no but I thought it was worth giving it a shot you know something and listen she thought she had to go and touch him I know why she put up why she put her finger on him like that because your arm again on his arm right there why you wipe girl why'd you put that thing on his arm like that because you know you you nerds cannot talk to girls nurse can they can barely talk to girls but touching them girls nurse cannot talk to girls without getting a hard on talking exchanging words innocent conversation yeah oh hell stop it how dare you be a nerd and get an erection in front of all these high school jocks by the way he's getting you know after that happens he gets beat up by these uh 26 year old high school students hey man he's not gonna have a 30 years he's down 28 29 year old high school students right here put a jacket on him what is that man of course since he got a heart on how dare he be a nerd to have a heart on in front of a hot girl so you know they had to take care of business though damn 30 year olds took his drawers off they took his drawers off and wrapped it over his head and shoved him right into the first teacher that they could find [Music] all right so you see that he's in front of a teacher right here who's randomly sitting there so just who's missing it the whole time Amen in the middle of the hallway got a desk in the middle of the hallway right here [ __ ] that means that she just she don't want to retire they just try to give us something to do yeah just be the hall monitor yeah yeah you just sit right here yeah you doing something we'll put you somewhere you give people the key to the bathroom yeah exactly but but see so they put those those 30 years they put his drawers on his head spin them around with that erection and that erection goes right into the the This Woman's face and she's lining it up too yeah yeah she like a field goal yeah you setting up a shot yeah when she got a damn nerd dick in her face you gotta she's got to do something about this now and uh yeah hard I said this woman has got to do something about this and she does she grabs that [ __ ] are you smart now [Applause] talking about I gotta compensate this weapon she want that dick that's what you wanted right right she grabbed so hard she got dragged across yeah yeah and she's smiling while she's doing it yeah keep in mind again she's just sitting around the lockers randomly in the middle of the courtyard in her wheelchair like she was going from one place to the other oh yeah and she's talking about well it's mine now it's mine now look at it you horny bro you she was holding on so hard she broke that [ __ ] I'm showing this to physical okay I said she broke it he broken and I said was he so was he trying to break it off so he could Escape like you know like a lizard loses tail or something I guess but the way the way they act I thought it got pulled off his body that's what I thought I was like I thought I thought it broke off yeah about she's gonna be sit up there holding it while he was down the street yeah yeah so that's that's Top Notch human right there yeah oh yeah so only the best so he gets bullied he gets sexually assaulted by this school librarian get his get gets his dick broke and he's the one that's got to go to the principal's office uh so he gets put into a contact with the counselor at school him and his dad played by Lyle Lovett if you recognize the hair and the perfect casting oh yeah it is physically uh so he has to go talk to the counselor and they give him a lot of meds and uh by the way the this this movie is never one to pass up on a nice penis joke you're not going to cure him with Force papa bear it's gonna take a lot of hugs and a lot of drugs now only take one of these a day that's pack get it man I I I the decision to say like it'll be real funny if you do a exaggerated southern accent oh my God why yeah Texas I guess what's that name Atlanta yeah she's she actually used to date Martin Scorsese yeah she's a good actor she wasn't good Fellas yeah she looks like a female Jeff Goldblum wow we should have just told people that's just go over the dress because people would have believed it that's when the real trouble starts y'all uh because he's a he's he's all he's all medicated and everything and uh while he's on medication for some reason decides to go out in public decides to go to the mall and he runs it too he runs into a black choir that's led by Gene Simmons of Kiss now do the rest of you young people know can I get an amen on that cause you usually find black cars at the mall led by some Iranian dude Israeli Israeli excuse me who's preaching abstinence and the kids love hearing it right but it's funny because it's Gene Simmons who's always talking about yes yeah so no that's not you're right that is that's the irony of the joke right there dizzy is actually hopped up on drugs so that's when he decides to hop up on stage and disrupt Mr Simmons in this whole black choir over here that boy's got the spirit he's an idiot if you're ever a member of the opposite sex ever told you you are not her type if you've never had duct tape ripped off yeah cause they've all had to happen to them they into it wait yeah yeah he does get one of those if you ever had this happening this have already happened but and apparently interrupting a black choir led by Israeli guy at the mall is a serious offense I'll be that they you can go to prison with serious sex and and violent offenders over there taking a microphone away instead of [ __ ] interrupting the block and preaching about getting duct tape off your buttocks they had to find some way to get him in that prison but that's what I'm talking about but they forced it you committed no no serious offenders oh but hey we had to get him there somewhere hey he had to meet his mentor Luther one way or another yeah [ __ ] we didn't have time to be [ __ ] yeah we got Gene Simmons for the afternoon and somebody better figure out something yeah yeah let's get him in jail as quick as possible so yeah he don't commit no crime but he goes straight to the pit who was serious Defenders and uh that's where he meets his mentor Luther who's played by uh uh Eddie Griffin over here and Luther starts teaching him uh certain things but you know that's before you know Eddie Griffin gets the mug for a little bit rubber breasts my brother so as you can see they are bonding over being [ __ ] at one point can we change these lines so after bonding over being [ __ ] that's when he says you know what you good peoples man that's what I can I can really start taking you under my wing and teaching you things like the look watch this that's what I gotta do switch prisons and start over you know what I will say this I wish the movie was better because they do have some clever moments in here because I thought it was I thought it was funny how he did compare prison to high school yeah which which is kind of uh it's kind of spot on it's on point you know High School bad food high offenses you want you ain't getting sexy getting I can speak from person experience myself uh it is funny because it is kind of true people even say you'd be surprised how high school is preparing certain people for prison when you get there well especially movie in high school with you when your bullies beat you up in the yard you and Stephen King movie you don't get shamed going out in the Stephen King moving down they threw a crippled kid in front of a car with a car ran over here hit his ass with a car and then got out to beat him up you ain't Through Me Yeah Yeah from there your boy gets expelled this or he's from what he learned the whole thing of hey you got to be a badass but you got to start over you can't nobody know you from where you came from because oh everybody can always hold that against you but hey if you want to start over well you know I did some crazy [ __ ] to get sent to another prison you're gonna have to do crazy stuff to get expelled which is where we lead to all these crazy Antics and gags right here A bunch of lame at the Antics and gags from from from Disney trying to get expelled yeah yeah like like when he steals uh a camera with the world's longest power cord endless he pulled out the wall it just runs down my heart with it man runs down and what is he running what is he running to he's running he's running to the bathroom film his principal taking a [ __ ] who's [ __ ] a cinder blocker I turn into a werewolf she killed the dinosaurs it gets them expelled and uh gets them expelled to where he where he dreamed of going the place he desired to go to the most the worst high school in the city which when you look at this it's worse than the prison the prison the prison is actually hanging out and getting along this these little monsters over here your little badasses They are tearing the teachers are running for their lives they're tearing that school up oh thank you that's been his first time exactly I was like what do you mean oh thank you that terrible ADR by the way y'all missed a great opportunity cause where was the Hey whenever you hit somebody with a bad person because they're funny you're right that's the only reason no disrespect to the bagpipers out there but y'all know that [ __ ] is hilarious I was that was so disappointed when they did that hey you hit him one more time you get the heart the dying backpipes uh you blew it yeah so yeah and listen uh you know when he gets there on his first day it is kind of funny I did laugh with it I wish they'd done the bagpipes down but I did laugh when he beat that mascot down and he also left with uh there is see this is the thing it's frustrating because there are some jokes that actually work if only the movie was better I know you you right when you were ready to just write it off and go screw this it'll be a gag or some joke that'll work yeah and it's frustrating he's like y'all could have kept this going yeah if you just if you weren't in such a rush to just crank out another Adam Sandler light movie you could have had something that was maybe a classic you could have it because dizzy who's now Gil uh he goes to the school and takes the advice of Luther you know using prison yard rules go there and take out the baddest person and beat his ass in front of everybody in front of everybody but you got to be quick before the Bell Rings otherwise ain't nobody gonna see it [Music] you guys might want to come scoop up your friend drag the joke out but there were some funny things going on it is fun the premise of it is very funny yes it is and I give him credit for that man but from that point on you can kind of predict what happens here now I I would say this and this is what we said in the movie this is how I remember that you saw it because I said man you know what DJ Qualls his comedic acting is actually pretty good yeah another reason why I wish the movie was better because you know the predictable things happen there's nothing wrong with that because you know we expect that like you know all the all the dudes fear Him all the girls start to adore him and to see him because he's not cool but the more he tries to act cool the more uncomfortable he is the more silly he looks but they don't know that and they think that he's just being yeah hey he's just being uh he's just being himself eccentric yeah eccentric badass he's been to prison he's aloof he's a Loof he doesn't get when he doesn't get it he's aloof yes yeah nice to be somewhere without bars you were in jail you know this is the 90s back when chicks used to love that yeah yeah nowadays it's like you've been to jail you still got plenty of girls that go for the Bad Boys it was it was a little bit more back in the day yeah um [ __ ] now they know they have those dudes got boyfriends [Laughter] see there's some things that they could have worked with that they don't really really run with because he's as badass to them now and all the girls like him but he don't know he don't know what to do with that ass yeah you can't close the deal yeah the girls girls uh girls throw themselves at him now and he'd rather kill himself than have to get close to that vagina okay oh I forgot something I did not understand what happened there on the roof yeah it seemed like he was into it and actually I know he rolled off because I didn't know what to do with it Hey listen I gotta tell you I laughed at that because I didn't I'm like what he tried to eat roll right off that right there was working oh that cat was everywhere he's still getting a little bit more yeah I think what he was trying to do was go get to get his pants he slipped off and he's clums and he's clumsy yeah it seemed like he was sorry that it didn't happen but yeah I was like that was so weird the way that was shot hey and now also the big bully that's at the school the one he knocked out of course you know these once he does that they don't care about that dude no more he's two-timing chicks she's like well [ __ ] I mean this new guy right here oh who caught me yeah and that's why I want to use you boy you about to break that dick again look at his face that they can to show you people in the background of wheelchairs that dude back there oh yeah yeah where they all come from like the scene suddenly yeah all over some school converged yeah I see you by the way I will I I do appreciate the movie showing you all these people in wheelchairs and all these outcasts and saying have some compassion but also saying yeah but let's let's be real a lot of those people still dicks too they got one dude in a wheelchair or maybe it's a little maybe it's a girl she laughing at everybody else getting beat up like like like like she's one of the bullies she's laughing at somebody getting their ass beat that's right she's part of the problem but you know why they're trying to act like they're against bullying you know the movie's doing the same thing that the bullies do you know oh yeah literally picking on the little guy literally picking on the little guy for a laugh over and over again but cheap land real cheap even when the bullies are backing off they go like yeah yeah people lay the door you know they gotta they got a uh you can see uh you can see something about to go down yeah Manny they you can see something about to go down they got a dwarp in this movie Why for some nice easy lazy laughs up in here uh they just the dwarf walks in they just throw his ass around why just because it's funny that's what the movie says because he's little when he walks up from yeah because he's little like when he walks up for no reason like the bullets don't even it's like almost like an instant kicks in yeah right it's like muscle memory kicks apologized to him after Gill comes in and starts showing everybody like hey man we need to be nicer and cool to people man we can still be edgy and then badass but let's stop picking on people man everybody has a place in my world uh you know everybody starts to say you know what he's right look man I'm really really sorry I mean the guy's pissed me too but even when the movie is uh not beating them up they still find ways to just make fun of like when the bullies when those bullies ain't but they ain't messing with him bullets from other campuses come over and start beating his ass and look at Cuba how are you doing man thank you I was like that wasn't even funny it wouldn't have necessary he came up it was nice and lick it too but how are you doing man this is how I'm doing get yourself I'm doing this yeah I mean that's shriek I'm sorry this is not right but the these noises that they give them damn that's a whistle like all right if you if the movie's true about like hey let's not go for the easy gags and bullying people then you should quit but the movie don't quit they still find ways to make fun of his little ass like he they got him oh no we were talking about earlier they didn't want to put the bagpipes out of there when they beat up the mascot but when his little ass is running down when his little ass is running oh they got them bagpipes on full Force [Applause] like he's a little Leprechaun or something yeah they do him bad here at the end and the end credits they put everybody's name and they show him and don't put his name up what yeah oh yeah because I was like oh who's this who's this like you said that that right there Billy you summed it up that was cheap Richie he's having a hard time catching up with everybody to keep it up and you see everybody's just blowing this running past them and then you and then with the bagpipes down it's like let's come on y'all yeah and the movie is so Random it's just confusing yeah that's that's that's probably the bigger problem so in the movie no one goes to any of the football games at this high school because they suck and so people like why even go even the bullet don't go on the team he's like shut up look I'm an [ __ ] I'm too cool to be playing on this team right here no one no one goes but Gill is so popular that the coach who's you might recognize yeah you know I ain't gonna say number when you hear him you don't know who it is when the coach and the principal they bring him in they say well look man everybody loves you so you know if you could just do a solid and go out to one of these games people might show up you have any ideas you might turn this thing around good music music who was that actor right there no yeah he's he's kind of funny in this man oh he's oh he's yeah he's real funny so it's cool that I like the idea that you know the irony of it the nerd is the one that's getting all the all the cool people and the Jackson went out to come to the game that's what that's what principal was there the coaches do yeah we can't win a game hey let's go talk to the popular kids school yeah they're desperate just like this movie is To The Challenge so I thought that that was a cool idea again a lot of things just like when they were talking about prison being like high school I was like man y'all got some good ideas here that was kind of a good idea right there and then they gonna pull some [ __ ] like this thank you even like what the [ __ ] yeah why is he dressed like the general from that insurance commercial how are we a run down school but we have a huge budget for constant props and a huge yes I mean listen some people will get this and even but even if you get it you'll be like why right but there's a lot of man when this movie came out people my age some half the people probably wouldn't get this I'm just like you know it's it it's so dated it led to one of the funniest lines in the movie my goddamn horse yes my goddamn horse that if y'all y'all recognize that dude that is sure enough the Shogun of Harlem right there also Bucket from disco Godfather bucket what have you had man but sometimes the randomness of this movie actually works because they you know they would hit on something just out of nowhere and it would be so crazy and I didn't expect it that I I just I I laughed out loud if I could even catch myself oh shut up man that's not funny I did not see that coming I know it's like why but I'm glad you did it but yeah man because even that dude's like damn yeah because him in the main bully they've had this prestigious thing going on the whole time no they should have that but that one so it comes out of it catches you off guard yeah I mean they they then you man you're right they start doing some some straight up Three Stooges stuff in here they got Tony Hawk in here man um at first I was like what the hell is Tony Hawking here just for just other than just the Cameo but they did some him with him that's funny man it just again another head Three Stooges joke that caught me off guard I laughed so hard at this [Applause] man [Music] they took Tony Hawk skateboard and busted upside his head and I laughed so hard at that let us just do whatever we want and then something and just weird stuff would happen like I don't even know why I can't explain it like they just started yelling random things at the principal at the at the show they have that they have at the end of the movie thank you it's badass badass and the way he actually responded hey why are you that that stuff like that in the movie is where Randomness works because the movie can have random stuff happen and if you do it cleverly enough or just you know have be consistent with how funny it is that ain't happening here this movie ain't about consistency but other things didn't make me chuckle man uh you know like a uh loud love is in this man again with some of the cameos who as you said is perfect casting because he looks just like DJ qua's father if you look at the features of physical features but again something that just happened out of nowhere and I should have seen this one coming right here I repeat do not do that I think they got one person to scream for everybody in this movie I know that sounds like the same one uh and it's cool to see law loving him because a lot of love looks serious as hell he's a singer if you didn't know country singer uh and what was married to Julia Roberts everybody was like what but he seems so serious even though songs are kind of whimsical sometimes but to see him loose enough and have fun here that was kind of that was fun uh there's another thing that had me laughing here Vanilla Ice just beating the [ __ ] out of an Asian dude that's my microphone bring your ass in here and I'm gonna tell you something he's pretty good in this no he was yeah and he was so good I didn't know it was Vanilla Ice and I'll be honest with you I said I don't but back in that back in the day in the like in the early uh 2000s late 90s A lot of these uh new metal guys and and rock guys they kind of start to blend together yeah and I sure did back then and some of the old Rockets start adapting uh or adopting this that that new style and I looked at that and I thought is that Tommy Lee and I'm not being serious but I say I think that that's Tommy Lee trying to rock one of these new fashions that are going on but then the real Tommy Lee showed up hey anybody know where the VIP room is you can see he's making his transformation uh Henry Rollins is in this Henry Rollins this Cameo is actually pretty fun it was pretty funny yeah it was so funny I had that he was sitting right there and I know Henry Rollins but I didn't even if you don't know Henry Rollins Henry Rollins uh punk rocker gone poet gone actor uh but he was sitting right there in the scene and I did not notice him at all [ __ ] up curly pants [Music] what phone call for you Warden and also you see Jermaine Dupri and cool mode too many people barely getting that line now Boy Billy you were right about that Focus that's one of those takes where good enough [ __ ] yeah yeah phone call for you Warden you know now so folks before we get on out of here you know I saved one of the best things for last as we've been saying our dear friend Billy this is this might also be called The Billy movie for us yeah Billy Billy is in the film and as I said Billy is prominently in this movie he's everywhere you know because if you when you watch the movie did you I I did what I had to call Billy sightings uh-huh you know it was it was my you were my own personal wherever in this man because you because you're always in the background and I tell you man uh it it goes and it went in phases for me as I was as I was looking for you because it starts out where you know you're kind of blurry and it's like is that is that Billy but then and we're not gonna give up and you look back here and I was like yeah is that is that Billy and then you get a little clearer anything you spot building the background like yeah I I think that's Billy baby face Billy right there oh yeah yeah you got hair and everything man oh smooth baby face Billy back there now you've aged well man yeah I appreciate it but I looked at that and I was like yeah I think it is but uh you know I'm not I'm not really sure but but then there'll be a moment that comes up where you look you look and you say oh [ __ ] that's definitely Billy [Laughter] I mean I guess he would he would tell us he would have just done it did he get his stuff knows how to make it wider I wouldn't tell y'all but I'm like oh that's the other dog black dude never mind never mind um but then uh but then you see something and you like you know what climbing more cheerless that is definitely bill you got that white girl that is yes 100 Billy Brooks right there he's blurring everything but got that white girl if you still had any doubt I mean you shouldn't after that but if you still have any doubts then they finally get to that close-up of Billy he's there once you know it's him building no disrespect but you get kind of creepy because that's when you just start lurking I mean you just start lurking in the background I mean look at those [ __ ] yeah you don't know what I'm about to do yeah you're about to kill everybody in this hallway right now and like you look at me's lurking it and and and it is yeah and then there's there's other shots where you just are in the background just over people's shoulders like listen to Insidious right here man this is Blackness I'm like damn Village is lurking the background for your ass yeah man you lurking in so many shots I'm thinking you can make a cut where it turns out Billy has been orchestrating yeah Martin uh do you notice something about this scene right here indeed anything oh is that Paul plus Paul okay because Paul as I say the other Billy oh yes yes because I remember we saw we see Paul I was going to ask you about this because I was like oh that's Billy I was like wait that looks like Paul's people this guy so they filmed this show or this movie they filmed this movie in Austin so there were a lot of people trying to get into this movie whether it be trying to get a a big role or trying to get you know an extra part and this dude right here that looks like Billy he's the only dude in the scene this dude right here uh the show that we used to do at the WB back in the day he worked there and he was supposed to be you in my movie oh he was the first one that can that I that I tried to get to come over and and be your part and he completely flaked on me oh wow yeah yeah like yeah yeah he didn't show up at all I remember I caught him later and I just said man you know that was kind of messed up that you just left me hanging we had people there but he I did get him to come in and double for you there was a scene where you're hiding under under a table and he came in and I used the top of his head for you oh yeah so uh in the movie you got a uh Zooey Deschanel I have to do something that I've been wanting to do for the longest time so let somebody know how I feel about it um that caught me I'm going I laughed at that she went from uh the new guy to the new girl in that TV show yeah uh a few years later also she sings when they when the band plays because I was like Dana singing is good and it's actually her singer yeah the band um she her saying is good I thought the band sucks ladies and gentlemen oh that's not you know they about to introduce me I thought because the one thing I thought I was like hey you know her voice is good but I thought that band sucked foreign [Music] wow you took that song that I used to like and just mangled it I'll get the drop mixing he's really playing the drums there yeah that's cool that's real cool um I would you know with like the movie open up with a little white boy wearing you know afro wig dancing to James Brown and everything I was about to cause some kind of approach appropriation thing with this but then I was like damn you know I'm not saying this is what they should be I'm just making an observation what they do and why I can't really say that because I noticed at the movie they had a little they they hooked up a lot of black dudes with white girls yeah I mean that I'm talking about because I thought my man here wasn't gonna get anything even they even hooked him up man gave him a little something before I met kill I probably would have just looked at you with disgusting yeah well the universe is upside down and in a few minutes you will be too yeah good luck with that yeah he's gonna walk away with chlamydia yeah yeah in a few minutes wait who else that's a school hole right here oh you ain't heard no you don't want to do that yes I didn't know you don't know how to do that no I do you don't know I'm about to catch this [ __ ] yeah you give it to me twice oh [ __ ] but that's in a glass of Love You Dragon yeah man one thing I noticed is that this director must really love Creed man because they made a big deal about creating this ladies and gentlemen that should be the opposite way around you want to hear something funny something funny about that yeah hold on because this is how it worked out in the sea ladies and gentlemen free will not be here tonight well it was this is how behind this movie was when we were shooting that scene they were like let's jump a Cree and everybody we're on the audience going yeah like what's our reaction to that like we're supposed to be happy like wow and they were like no you're supposed to cheer like wow y'all pick a different band I'll be like come on y'all I mean like like I mean people making fun of creed when I was a freshman in college you know what I'm saying like it was like I I listen I ain't trying to talk bad about Creed but [ __ ] back then at that point people it's like kind of making they were the Nickelback of that time right yeah this was filmed in Austin and so they had a scene where that last performance or that last party scene that last concert scene that was filmed at this place called The Broken Spoke which is still here in Austin now the funny thing about the Broken Spoke looking at it here you know that's 20 some years ago so a lot has changed in Austin you can see where that background right there that sky is gone you can see it built all around it yeah this big condos all around yeah the exterior was filming there the interior was filmed out okay yeah somewhere uh I got you yeah you notice like over here all that this just they try to make it like it's some Backwoods country place but uh some you know some backwards country roads right right but uh it's actually in the middle of the city but still this area was pretty clear not much development was going on and uh it's crazy as you can see now look at that it's uh you know what it reminds me of reminds me of oh yes just like that that's what it looks like when you dropped yeah it is it very much is Just wedged in there and uh last thing for you speaking of cameos it's easy for a man like myself to forget what most poor slums will do to get a woman David Hasselhoff so there you go folks the Billy Brooks movie aka the new guy yeah through all the people in there for these little secrets that's what he that's all he does did what Tommy Lee yeah oh that's right all he says he's worth the VIP rule what okay let me ask you at the end in credits they show a longer scene with him oh they got cut yeah yeah I got cut but when you watch you like that yeah yeah let me ask you this Billy how did they get all these cameos man why did they get all these cameras well the producers uh it was when they they did uh does Joe Roth and Todd Garner you know when they first started revolution revolution Studios oh yeah yeah yeah Joe Roth was a Disney and had just tons of cloud that's when he broke off of Disney and took Todd Garner within Todd Garner my brother still knows when he's produced Mortal Kombat but just calling those favors I mean they got and they got Ed dector who was a uh you know a Disney Studio director who you would director Yeah Yeah Boy Meets World and all that this is back when Austin I mean Austin's his way now but this back when Austin was really really getting this reputation as well yeah yeah yeah people coming in partying yeah yeah right yeah two bars let's be honest and uh yeah so he just you know produce like that call you know you think I'm gonna make some more movies down the line I mean look at me if you think about look Jerry O'Connell did Tomcats with Revolution Studios that was like the first or second one they did yeah I mean that movie was terrible but yeah you know starting it so okay then it was just it was just just calling in somebody just knew a lot of people in favor call the people to party yeah yeah yeah go ahead and do a couple of lines and do a couple of lines right exactly well I mean you got people like Tommy Lee and Gene Simmons ain't nobody asking them to act in anything right yeah they probably came running funny thing is Gene Simmons he wasn't so bad in this man no he wasn't you know he he had probably in a scene that didn't make no sense right he probably had more more to do than a lot of people you know he was Gene Simmons I've seen it's been a few other movies too he's not terrible well he was uh the villain in uh what was that Tom uh Tom Selleck uh Hardware or something like oh oh oh sci-fi movie yeah I forgot what it's called Dance not Hardware but what's up yeah I know he was he was walking around with a suitcase and [ __ ] yeah yeah I'll take him okay run away run away that was it yeah run away thank you Chad [Music]
