actions just on the widget settings okay and I could add here create webinar create workflow whatever it wants I could remove the widget and as you see it's organized in different widgets you can add more widgets or delete or cancel Norwich widgets from here the widget library right so you've got all your metrics in one place just as when you come in to get response you can see everything everything there right so this is really comfortable I think it's more it's more handy to have the information organized the way you want to have it organized and the second thing are all these is the contact section and this is an important one because it will allow us to configure everything related to our lists have you been using get response in the past or your an get response now and you've got the old version or your testing get response and you've got the past version you will see you you will know that get response considers lists as campaigns I think it's the only email marketing tool that has been using campaigns instead of lists okay but it's the same thing I mean I've never liked it but it's a way they used it so now they call them lists finally okay after the feedback of many and many users so the first thing you can see in the context list is that get response each one of these tabs here is organized in soup tops okay in this case everything relates it to contacts so we've got less here first thing then the search what I will tell you how to segment when you are doing a campaign statistics related to contacts list hygiene to clean your lists suppression lists if you don't want to send emails to to certain people custom fields in order to enrich the information you get from your from your subscribers and the import statistics it means when you make when you import contacts is where you see this detects the statistics of this import so let's start first with the lists the first thing you see here you can search people by name or by by email okay right Pinet for instance and you can see emails names and lists where any banette is in right I could write my email address and then it will appear there the other options that you can show all contacts and this will take you to the search sub-top so we'll talk about this later but you can sort as well anything by name by when this was created and the number of contacts on this list okay you can sort by by everything else also here you can create a list you can add contacts and what I'm going to do now is I'm going to show you first the options that you get inside every one of the lists adding contacts which is the same thing as here you can make this list as the default list okay we've got this in this case I think it's important that you decide which list is more important for you for you for your project because it's the first list that's going to appear always that you're going to send the newsletter it doesn't mean that you cannot change that list you can change this list but it's better to get a default list which is important for you then the list settings which I'm going to show you when we create a list you can show the context of this list you can show the newsletters you've sent for this list in which case you would go to it would send you here right it's quite obvious it sends you to email marketing if you click in there then you can show autoresponders same thing or you can delete this list right well now let's see how to create a list and why is this so important I'm gonna get you sir I'm gonna give you some tips that you need to take into account tips that are going to make you a faster list creation and tips that are going to make you a proper list creation okay first thing you can introduce the list name you need to take something into account with get response every list name is unique this means that no one else in the whole get response is going to have this name so when you decide your list name it needs to be unique okay and let me give you a very important advice when you create lists the first thing you have to take into account you need to to name the list with a name you can easily recognize because quite easy but we've got for instance more than 100 lists and it's quite difficult if I didn't have everything organized everything alphabetically organized I wouldn't I it would take me longer to find the the right list for the right target where I want to send my new subscribers so you've if you forgot your own project 1 Project just make sure that you take a good name and make it alphabetical but if you've got different types of sections in your projects what I recommend is that you structure the name in two sections the first one would be the type of project you are working in and the second one the name of this project so imagine for instance what we do we sell training in Spanish and recommend software each of our lists have got the customers who buy our training and the customers who buy our recommended server ok what we do here is we write for instance if it's if it's a matter of training we use the word core so in Spanish get cool so under school and then we use the name of the course right core soft block for instance ok that the training block or the training whatever well this this may be taken because block is quite generic word so I would specific I for instance this one okay block means visitors which is one of our trained ok so this is what I would too and the same for each one of my training or each one of my type of project what about when you are working for customers would you would do whatever do in this case is using the name of the customer first you can just write here the name of the customer and then the type of project because you will identify them quickly when you have to send a newsletter it will be much easier to find the list to which you want to send a newsletter right so everything as I say this is a really important part of organizing all your email marketing strategy because if you don't do that it will be more time-consuming for you and you don't need that another important reason is when when your context subscribe to your list they will see the name of the list so it's important that this list is recognizable but by it by the subscribers there's nothing like several numbers or whatever I mean by default I think a response gives you several numbers the first time but you just modify the name of this list and that's it but but it's important for your context to see as well what where they subscribed it's very important to give information to your contact it's very very important once you do this you can create a list or you can copy existing list settings this is the best thing you can do because once you've got I know hundreds of lists right it's very time-consuming as well to have to change the settings every time so what we do here is I would just take block social answer which is our a remain list okay and I just create so I'm taking the settings for blog social answer great it's already created as you can see here it's the list is created we've got this here and what am I going to do now is I'm going to see those settings that I was selling before right so I go to settings and now let's understand what every part of the settings means the first thing is the list name are spammers so what we do here is we write a description where we tell them that they are in this list because they subscribe themselves I mean we didn't subscribe themselves ok and so we try to give them a lot of information here enough information at least for for them to know that that it was them it was not me subscribing them so so we tell them you subscribe through our forum to block social the link where people are going to see all your newsletters with save general settings okay we agree with all the settings sorry we won't save them yet we go to the next section subscription section okay here you have to take into account several things first thing if you want to send subscription notifications every time someone subscribes they send you an email to the email address that you decide right you just do here and you send the email you write the email address you want or you choose actually you choose the email address from the from the email addresses you've got in in the sender section the section we've seen before and this is really important that you know it so do you require people to confirm that they are going to they are receiving your email or not the good thing in get response is that they let you decide if you want people to confirm your messages or not there are tools that do not allow you not to confirm messages why is this important there are people who prefer having cleaner lists if you send a confirmation message to anyone who subscribed to your list they will they will have to confirm that they've received your message they date that they have subscribed themselves but on the other site if you are doing some marketing and you want things to be smooth to be fast you want people to receive a lead magnet straight away maybe you don't need a confirmation because it makes the process quite longer right people have to wait for the confirmation message confirmation message and then they have to wait for for the lead magnet or for whatever you have promised okay in the web subscriptions is something you can decide and it's fine but in my opinion the API subscriptions it's important that you do not ask a confirmation messages thing with other pages and then why do you want to host your confirmation page if you want to host your confirmation page by care response you will get a standard confirmation page as you will as we will see now but you can add as well a custom URL what you could do here if you get get response Pro you could create a landing page nice landing page from from the landing page creator right and just copy paste here the the URL of this landing page so people are going to be in a nicer landing page where maybe you can send a message and tell them okay I'm gonna send you a confirmation message and after days I'm wait for a couple minutes I don't know whatever whatever you want you know and I will send you the lead magnet I promise blah blah blah whatever you want but you can make a nicer a nicer you are a nicer page and also nicer landing page for the confirmation message so here's where that be and finally the confirmation messages as I told you earlier let me tell you something usually when you send plain text messages the probability of people receiving these messages is higher than receiving an HTML most of the people send HTML messages no worries about that so that you get links proper links and images and whatever right so but if you want to send a plain message you will get more probabilities to get into the inbox of this person right off of the subscribe but in the case of confirmation messages it's not a problem because people are waiting for a lead magnet so they will look for anywhere in the spam folder or in in the others folder or whatever right so they will look for your message this this shouldn't be a problem you can use the HTML and this is the subject line that I was I mean this is the what I was telling you before there's a part of the messages that you cannot modify you can you can get one confirmation message from the loads of confirmation messages that you get from get response but and you could add your own confirmation message but or happens here you can add your custom sachet line but what happens here that gear response has to approve the subject line and the similar thing goes for the body template as you can see here what I'm going to do is I've got this in Spanish I'm going to go to general settings and I'm gonna save general settings so that we get everything in English now we move back to confirmation messages and well as you see you have here the confirmation the confirmation subject lines right loads of them in English plus the body templates right here okay databasing database signup default template default template Evoque requires design subscriptions free report subscriptions as you can see there are lots of possibilities for the confirmation messages thank taking into account you cannot change the whole message right so let's say for instance typical one subscription confirmation how would how would this message be okay let's see the confirmation message it would be please confirm your subscription hello firs name right hello and the name the first name of the person who subscribed this you can introduce some text here which is good because it's at the beginning and afterwards you've got this text that you cannot modify this is again for to avoid any spam issues so that people cannot use the confirmation message as something else right so people could go here confirm the subscription and that's it and then your signature right okay let's say we take this confirmation message we just save confirmation message and we are done so as I said configuration and less settings is a very important part of your strategies because it will help you go faster let's move now to this to the next sub tab which is the Search tab this is a very nice one in my opinion because it allows you to segment all your campaigns right let me show you what's in search contacts you can you can just search contacts here like from any of your lists you need to take into account when you when by default all lists are always selected so you just unclick select all right and then choose the list you want you want to work with right you could apply and all the contacts in this list will appear here right okay then when you're when you're making a search you first look for the list then you search if people are receiving out to responders or not receiving them and if they were subscribed at any time and it's either anytime or whichever these options that you can find here but we can look for other options right now okay so this is what I was looking for right people in block social answer any auto responder settings and subscribe to anytime the good thing though is I cannot conditions and this is this is the this is where the magic starts I've got several kinds of conditions first I have to select the condition category which means if I want to segment through the details of the contact for instance the name email custom field that I've signed subscription data newsletter and this newsletter is opened by a certain percentage of your list usually about between fifteen and twenty percent unique opens okay I'll tell you the difference between unique opens and general opens when people open a message they are telling you they are interested in that message especially if they are opening more than one message right so here's where you see the actions of this conduct if I want to send a newsletter to say look I've seen you you've opened this message and I know you're interested in that so please go here and buy right you go to contact actions and you look for the kind of action that you want message opened message not open if you want to engage people who never open the email a very good subject line in these cases like did you see my email or will select video builder again right and I'm going to say message number two and I've got two thousand people what does it mean here two thousand people the thousand people means that I would have what of what I've done here is just to match all conditions so people who opened message one and message to of this campaign right so if I want to match all people who open both open either message one or message to I would go here and I would say match any of the following conditions and you would come here and you would have five thousand people who opened either video builder one or either video below to write good just for your interest when you see when you see in active users inactive users the users who are not in your newsletter they are not in your newsletter because they unsubscribed oh because you cleaned your lists and this is something that we will see later but I recommend you to do to clean your list periodically because not everybody is interested in whatever these people I could what I could do with these people is unsubscribe them delete them adding custom fields to these people for instance if I want to add them an action and say ok these are the ones who are interested in video builder so I would go here and I would add for instance a custom field or I could copy them to a list I'm moving to list scoring them right if you've got automation tagging them tagging them I could tag them instead of adding a custom field I would tag them and they would got the tag video builder and they are video builder interested in video builder and this will help me in my automations but we will see all this later I mean I I know it's a lot of information but just for you to know what the options are right or I could export in a spreadsheet all these people right I can export them I can enter file name and select select the exporting file type I would I would recommend CSV and that's it so the search of contacts can help you understand who are the users who make certain actions and at the same time you can do whatever you want with these users ok then what I could do imagine for instance I said okay I want the contact actions are message open now I time travel option you can choose at what time you want to send this email in this case what I would do I would send it at 7 in the morning which is a good time for us 7 in the morning or 7:15 image box a signup box an exit pop-up the exit pop-ups are really really worked really really well scroll forms or shake box you would pay another tool like pop-up domination or opt among or whichever tool get this kind of intelligent pop-ups and you get them with care response from the basic version right so it is great again let's see one let's see one of them how how they are and you will see in the exit pop-ups are these ones that you click you're trying to leave the page and then pop appears a pop up okay the image box is like an image box that appears after certain seconds and let me show you all the ones the shake box plop up with the shake okay the download box if you want to send a free guide and the Thank You page download and the fix bar which goes on the top right and the scroll form that goes on your block and appears when the reader has reached a certain point of your page well the I will just show you one of one of them I will use one exit pop-up these are a bit different these are not as customizable as the normal pop-ups but they are very easy to set up so you can you can just you can modify the the text you can substitute the images in the case they are they appear code in the HTML when creating your newsletter and you will know who answered what and this is a very very relevant information as well because afterwards you can contact to the people to the right people and and as well offering them something or telling them thank you or whatever you need right and then you can see here respondents when you ask for a specific question and then you can show stats and as you can see here we've got the name of the respondent the email of the person who answered the date when they answer at the time and the time it took them and the status if they finished it or not and the city where the answer from so you've got a lot of information a lot and if you ask questions to the people and let them some place to answer you will gather a very very good feedback that's going to be very useful for your emails and these are the statistics let's go now to the next step and the last step which is to CRM and these are the surveys let's go now to our last tool and the newest tool of get response the new addition to get response which is the CRM so as you know a CRM is a tool that helps you improve your sales and it makes it by managing your interactions with your customers or your company interactions with your customers and your potential customers so let's erm allows you to organize emails sales meetings with subscribers who are potential customers everything in one place so the good thing what can't response again is that you can capture leads with action based forms landing pages webinars optimized all this process and then convert these leads into sales thanks to the CRM and as I say again everything in one place everything organized as you will see right now so let me show you how to create a pipeline from the beginning to the end so we sale doesn't succeed then I will I will just put them into lost and that's it let's start by saving this so what I'm going to do now it's adding deals to this pipeline all right so my deal in this I'm gonna convert all or all of these contacts from the selected list okay it's four contacts here and here it comes now to create the deal profile first thing I'm gonna do is writing here the deal let's say that what I'm going to do now is to send an email to all those who attended my webinar right so I'm gonna close this by let's say a couple of days from today right who will take care of potential customer is five hundred ninety seven US dollars and you can change the currency if you want okay just take into account if you put different currencies in the same deal they will not appear can do here is just download the chat and find what this lead asked for and you've got a lot of information for this lead to in order to convince the lead to buy your product so I would just copy paste here the chat where this lead is saying something and what what are the actions so the first action is the email right this would be the first action and it's scheduled for up to the 31st this is what I have to do with this lead okay so this is the first action I know I want a next action once this lead once this is completed I will call this lead right I've got his phone it's phone number and so I'm going to the next month and I'm gonna give it a couple of days three couple three days all right so call the lead in case the lead is interested in case elite is interested and I call lead I can schedule a call for a couple of days later for instance a Skype call and finally it could add custom actions or whatever I mean this is for you to see that you can add several actions per lead so that you can follow up everything with the single lead everything starts from an email from the email you are sending right so once the email has been has been sent and and the lead has reacted to the email you could have as their phone number at the email or maybe in a custom field that you used when registering to the webinar so what I do is I mark has done this action all right so if I mark this action is done that's fine and I can send the lead to the following stage which in this case would be contact delete right so I've got this and I've put this lit into the contact Wednes once I call the lead I can get some notes here about this lead about the contact so that I can prepare my Skype meeting for once he accepts a Skype meeting all right so it could save the notes if I call here you could see as well the deal history so everything that's been done by the supervisor right so I've been I've added this little is that at the pipeline stage newsletter queued updated new action I did you see all the actions everything I've been doing right now and then you get here as well all the contact details in this case what you get here is all the lists where this contact is in in get response so you can have one contact in several lists and get response right so you get all the information so you can see if this contact has bought any other of your products you've kept all you've
