The Millennial Farmer Map | Console Map Tour | Farming Simulator 19

one of the most highly anticipated maps of 2020 finally released on march 5th 2021. that's right everybody the millennial farmer map released today on mod hub for consoles only stick around let's go take a look welcome back everybody driver 53 here and that's right we are going to be taking a look at millennial farms i wanted to go and show you what mod hub looks like it's up here in the top left hand corner we're going to go ahead and click on it here it is mapper's paradise the subie these guys they did an amazing job getting this map back to us after they said to forget about it well we didn't forget about it and they didn't either so as you can see it's version 1.0.0 1.0.0.0 they completely redid it because it i guess officially never released and it's also 578.25 megabytes it's a pretty big file um but there's a lot of stuff going on here as you can see the description says welcome to millennial farmer matt based in minnesota usa the millennial farmer zach johnson is a fifth generation farmer who spent his life growing working and learning on his family's farm he has also grown to be one of the most popular farmers on youtube giving viewers a chance to see what it's like to be a male to be the millennial farmer now it's your turn to take control and find out if you can make it as a millennial farmer wow as a as a millennial i'm gonna take on the challenge i think i don't know about the rest of you guys it's gonna be a fun map there's a lot of really big fields you can see the pda down there but let's jump into the gameplay here real quick all right everybody here we are here is the pda and what property do we start with well we're gonna start with the main farm right here and as you see there's gonna be a seeds tank on it you've got your farm silo and you've got field three over here so field three looks pretty big how big is it exactly 37.09 hectares that is huge absolutely huge it's a pretty good field too i've got the precision farming turned on right now so we can see what the yield potential is and what the soil types you know roughly are 56 percent is loman 15 is sandy loam so i mean that's 71 of your field is going to give you 100 or better that i think that's pretty pretty good um you know if you look around there's some other fields that are real man that's a really nice one wow 113 percent there that one's not that great but the other one's right around the farm i mean they're these aren't too good but then you get down here and that's a really good one you know wow really really good on that i mean these are bigger fields so you're gonna have a lot more of that variation throughout them but i mean that one isn't great um but i mean for the most part they're the pretty good distribution i mean that's a really good field i yeah definitely but as you can see you've also got a pig pasture on here you've got um sheep you've got cows and you've got horses now from what i understand these sections of the map haven't changed anything at all from whenever it was going to be released in 2020 um so i'm not going to tour that there are plenty of other videos for my great content creators out there um that are gonna give you a very thorough description of what's going on there what what we're gonna focus on is we're gonna come up here to the top side of the map because there's something really interesting going on up here um this area has been reworked um by uh the team at mappers paradise and subi they redid all this up here for us um to make it work within the boundaries of consoles so let's um you know let's just take a look at the farm really really quick see what all is going on here it looks like you've got your uh silo and your truck right here now an interesting thing when i came on here and did this um you know if you look at your silo and how much crop you have in here right now it's pretty typical on your um uh level of crops that you have to start with now you don't have anything else over here at all right um but typical stuff you know eight nine up to almost 15 well it is 15. um but if you hop in your truck here look what it says down there you've got 60 000 liters of corn already in this truck and did i did i mention the logos the logos on the equipment y'all these are modded pieces that you're gonna have access to in um the catalog right so also there's supposed to be where is it at i think it's inside the building there's another truck that i want to go check out and see if it's got anything in it too so we're going to open up this door and i'll show you something here really quick about these doors all right so this one has nothing all right perfect now typically when you walk up to a door let me turn on my menu here you walk up to the door and you're going to be able to open it but you don't see that in my menu but what you have to do is you have to look for the switch so if you come over here see how it says l3 so that's different than circle typically it's circle so we're going to hit l3 and there we go now we come over to this one right here and we hold this and it's going to be all three again all right perfect now if we come over here you can see that main door is l3 so your big door but if i want to open up the little door it's circle so maybe walk around a few times get used to it it looks like all your smaller doors are going to be your circle and your bigger doors are going to be l3 let's confirm that over here and yes it is so that's the way they've set all this up now the next thing i want to show you inside here there were some issues with some lighting that was happening before and it looks like we have lights right here alright so if i come over here right here so you can see lights one are circle so that's this side and if i want lights two i need to hit the square perfect so what's this one over here well that's going to be this switch here and it's going to be if i can get to it um object too heavy is it not going to let me all right maybe there's another switch around over here let's see now well i need to be able to turn those lights on too zach doesn't work in the dark hmm object too heavy all right well i guess right now you're only going to have two sets of lights um yeah i'll live with that i am not unloading this map until i play on it a while and uh yeah so that's how you operate the lights and the doors in the main one i'm sure the other ones are just like it so what we're going to do now is well i want to show you something cool else about this um you are going to have another spot here around the backside to be able to fill into right here so this is going to unload from that silo there and i'm not sure about this one but i don't know why it wouldn't so pretty cool what we're gonna do now is run over to the truck and we're gonna run up to the top side of the map and i will uh take you guys on the journey you all are very familiar should be very familiar with this uh house here if you've uh seen it in the mod hub you know it's the one that you can uh place a lot of different places i think you know now that i say that i could be wrong maybe it's the lone oak house that i'm thinking of either way it's really cool it's got a pool out back but we're going to drive up this road right here and this is going to take us up to the top part of the map now what i'm going to do is i am going to go ahead and switch over to my steering wheel now to make this a little bit easier and i'm going to get rid of our controls menu up in the top left-hand corner now i'm going to go and expand the map out so you can see where we're at and you see how close we are to the edge of the map so if i get to this road right here you would think that i'm going to run into a barrier okay but i'm not now you can go that way right there and it's going to take you over to some items all right but i want to go straight so you'd think right about here i'd be hitting the wall well not not at all and there's a field over here i don't know if you're actually going to be able to get to it or not i haven't tested that out yet but you will not be able to go past this road okay so you need to turn this way and go along this road and as you can see it shows that we're on a road right now but it's actually that road over there we are outside of the pda map okay now if i come to right here all right you can see that it looks like there's some sail points over there well what i need to do is come over this way until i can find them and the way we're gonna find them is we're gonna go like this right here and then i'm gonna come back this way wait i thought there was a road over here all right well this is the first time i've been up here so let's drive across the railroad tracks until we find out where this is at all right well there's nothing else out here oh and there's the wall right there all right there is the wall right there not able to go any farther so i don't think there's a train on the track so we're good there so let's turn around so that means the sail points are on the other side of the road all right so let's turn this way and see if we can come through here and yes we can perfect so that road that you see on the map where i said if you go right it's this road that's the road that we're looking back right here that intersection you see up there at the top of the screen is where we're at where i decided to go straight instead of turning so now all of your sail points and different items are going to be here on the right-hand side but we're still kind of like a little bit off the map okay so right here this is going to be um clock brothers seed you're going to be able to go in here and i'm assuming fill up with seed because i don't know why else you wouldn't even so let's go ahead and turn this off so i'm assuming this right here is where you're going to be able to get some seed from that's really really cool and then if we come across over this way right here d root all right and i'm pretty sure there is yep sail point is probably i think it's right there let's jump over here to the menu and we're going to turn this thing on and find out exactly where it's at real quick and i i guess i'm i'm right there maybe it automatically kicked off on me let's try that again d root boom where's it at on our map well it's not showing on the map y'all usually you see that nice oh it's right there huh all right that doesn't make a lot of sense the only thing i can assume is that yeah it's just in line with this right so it's going to be down here somewhere i don't have a trailer up here right now i'm sorry i just wanted to come up here and look i thought it'd be kind of self-explanatory it's probably right there at the uh that door but it could be this oh ooh how about right here how about right there now does this do anything for us um open door yeah that's gonna be it right there everybody awesome so right here on this side is where you're gonna be able to uh drop off at warning tip cover is still open please return and close i wonder if that changes that is awesome you guys see that that just changed d root thank you for your call thank you for your custom have a nice day okay um but the sign changed let's do that again i'm gonna leave it open this time that is so cool that is a really really awesome touch y'all mapper's paradise that is really really cool it's a little things y'all the little things like that really really are cool all right so we're gonna keep going and you guys saw that there was a little pathway to get up there we're gonna not worry about that right now and we're gonna keep driving this way so as you can see there's a ton of stuff going on up there let's see if we can see better on the minimap okay so this way right here is actually going to take you to the animal dealer all right and the animal dealer is really really interesting up here on this one if you can see on the map there's actually multiple places and um yeah it's just really cool so we're going to turn in right here there's going to be a gate so we can go through the gate or we can hop it now this right here is showing as lowry livestock all right and it's actually going to be right here so you can see is this going to be no way y'all see that look they actually got animals in here that are moving around oh that is so cool chickens chickens got some pigs got some more pigs all right that is really really cool and i wonder what this is oh there we go the animal dialogue i wasn't in the right spot so here we go this is your animal dialogue you can see there's five different corrals that you're gonna be able to have awesome and we already saw the other ones and the chickens are just around here over on the other side of a creek but i want to show you this if you come up here and this is gonna be sheep pasture and if you come in like this check that out you're gonna use this area too to buy your animal now there is a little bit of a floating sheep issue apparently right now that's hilarious [Laughter] oh man nobody said it was gonna be perfect it's actually the second time it's been on console so um next we're gonna come over here to the cow pasture and the same thing you can come right in here and there you go so really really cool and last but not least horses horse pasture right here same thing you're gonna be able to buy and you can buy any animal from any one of those so i think that's really really cool and then you've got an entryway right here to this field if you own this field let's see do we own it what's it gonna take to own it oh it's 627 but you definitely could so let's um let's go try and find these chickens i want to go across this little creek right here over to the chicken area because this i don't think was necessarily here like this last time i think this is part of it that's been redone a little bit so it's showing that chickens are just right oh right here perfect and it looks like we're on the back side so i bet if we come around over here yep there we go so animal dialogue right here perfect um it looks like food is gonna go in here y'all that is so funny oh no way [Laughter] i'm dying oh man that is hilarious and you can get on the inside too which is really really cool i have no idea where they're gonna spawn at the egg boxes um i still can't get over this right here all right um so how do we get here across this little bridge right here we got a gate awesome did you guys hear that the old lady egg farm see if i can get it to say it again have fun oh all right so i'm gonna stand right here listen to this careful about going into this place she built it on an old graveyard so that she could be closer to her dead husband yeah that explains the uh the thing coming out of the freezer [Laughter] have fun all right later zach [Laughter] oh yo they had some fun with this man i now understand why they wanted to work really hard to get it back to us it makes me wonder what else is around here oh i think we're going to come up with some really really cool stuff all right so let's keep on going around here and seeing what other uh interesting things they've put in this map for us you know what i may have been wrong that there may have been the road that takes us back to that four-way that i was at while ago we'll drive back out that way maybe but we do have a sale point up here and we have the shop up here one interesting thing is if you drive across some of this stuff you may run into a wall so just be careful if you're over on like the other side i think this side would be okay but it doesn't look like there's any grass over here that you can plow or do anything with anyway so i think you'll be all right so the shop the big shop that we got on mod hub is right here i'm not going to give you a tour of it um everybody else has done a really really good job of that so this is it interesting thing though if you come over to here and you want to do this all right it's going to show it that it's right there okay i don't know if that's correct or not i think it's kind of the same thing this is like the original edge of the map so it thinks that it's supposed to be right there but i think it's actually around over here on this other side all right so let's come around over here and it it may be there yeah i bet it's up there because i don't think this is gonna be it so i bet it's right up inside that building let's go take a look see if it looks like it should be a sale point yeah this right here looks like it should be a sale point oh what's it say warning when using tip trailers ensure you're clear of interest interest portals before commencing tipping operation awesome really cool so that right there that's going to be your sell point y'all um back across railroad tracks like i said i don't think there's a train on here i have not seen one at all so we are going to go back over this way and along this road and see exactly where this one comes out at like i said i could have been wrong while ago but man now that they've shown us that i really really wonder if some of those other places around the map have really fun things like that too so here we are right on the edge of the map so yes that road i told you about while ago i was incorrect that must be that road there so this one here right by the animal dealer is going to be this one here by the stop sign for you and large trucks using road 24 hours daily of course perfect so everybody i mean you guys know the fields are already big here um i don't think it would take much to maybe combine a few of them together you know i always like to go over that in my videos and like to show you the options for the storage so we didn't actually look at the buildings let's go ahead and do that really quick and while we're doing that we'll go over some of the equipment that you're going to start with and talk about slot counts some people are not going to find this a very fun good map because of the slot count oh goodness there's a ditch there i got lucky so when you start on start from scratch or farm manager your slot count is going to be 1000 1056. all right but uh where's the map is it here hey this one you can open from the outside perfect um and it is a john deere farm it is absolutely a john deere farm there was nothing else to put on this farm except for green you're only going to start with two tractors though an 8400 r and it's 8370rt so pretty good you're gonna have a huge huge hull master you're going to have a nice plow you're a cultivator you're going to have a really really nice planter right here and if you know millennial farmer it's all about corn corn corn corn corn um we're gonna come over here this one won't open so you got to go around to this door right here so you've got your fuel tank in here you've got your sprayer right there once again you're going to come over here and use your l3 to open up that your lights are going to come on boom boom perfect and your big big one over here so we saw the harvester we saw the truck um there's also a few pieces of equipment right around over here so you've got i don't know if this is actually a piece of equipment or not be kind of funny if it is but you've got a regular header and you've got a corn header so only one harvester i think you've got plenty of land you could definitely fill up a couple more um and keep them busy so that's everything so when you come on as uh start from scratch or farm manager like i said 1056 is what you're gonna be at the buildings are not going to be here at all they will not be here but all the equipment is it's really strange it's just sitting out here in the middle of nowhere um but when you come on as new farmer this is your slot count 1051. you got two tractors to start with you have two warriors that have the custom logos on the side you've got the harvester you've got this guy the mana 2 that is up in the dealership you also have a pickup truck that we were driving around you've got this manitou also that's up at the um dealer also and it says wool service vehicle so i'm assuming it's going to be really close to the spinnery um or at the spinner sorry this one is at the store so you have two of those awesome you got two trailers here with the uh decals on the side there's the big hull master there's your headers this is the cultivator this is your cedar this right here is a sprayer fuel truck now we start getting into some other things that you can get rid of if you're not interested in this style of play your cow pasture is going to hold 200 cows and it's 19 slots if you want to get rid of it pig farm area it's a really really cool farm an older farm if you wanted to start there and like build up it is 39 slots though so if you're not interested in them you do lose everything everything that you you see right here in this little image goes away um but it's 39 slots it holds 300 pigs though next is gonna be the horse corral it's six slots only holds 16 horses the sheep enclosure um this is not the one that we saw up there by the store this is a separate one over by where the cows and horses are it's gonna be seven slots but it holds 350 sheep awesome you do a dog house storage silo i'm thinking this is over on the other maps the other side the other farm over there so you've got two bunker silos you've got this little storage silo here now your workshops i mean 61 slots for that workshop if your plane has been a little millennial farmer you've got to have it though but if not 61 slots that's a tractor um shed's only eight this sheds nine your bga 38 slots um it's a really cool design you have to drive through it tons of videos out there for it um selling station for grain and this is your farm decorations this is the other area that i was telling you about so there's a whole other farm over there that has a lot of these other elements built into it it's 35 slots so if you're not interested in that you want some space for your equipment 35 slots it's a tractor you've also got an american style house three slots not bad you got some bga decorations it's 13 and swamp decorations is 12. and the road construction is 13. it's pretty cool they've got the whole site dug up over there and now there's some farm decorations here 26 slots for all that um i don't know exactly what all it is oh it looks like it's the trailer yeah so it's the trailer and some other item the camper maybe yeah so it's the camper and a few of the other items around between i bet it's that camper well i said that i don't know there's gonna be some things that's gonna clean up around here for you but that is actually quite a few slots um 26 and then the main house is 17. so if you get rid of absolutely everything all right everything that you see right here that you can get rid of it's going to take you down to 572. so not great but not horrible um so yeah that's uh that's everything pretty pretty cool i'm really really digging this um i can't wait to incorporate the zombie uh walking dead rv into the series
