THE LEGO DIMENSIONS FAMILY CHALLENGE!!! LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack Action

this is an ad for Lego dimensions okay all right come again all right that's good enough good enough go go [Music] today we are doing a little family gaming challenge with yes it's so like oh dimensions Lego Batman movies story paths as you guys know earlier this month we saw the Lego Batman movie and loved it and today we are getting to relive all the awesome action from the film with lego dimensions so what do we get in the story pack you get the bad girl on Robin minifigures the back come here at gateway and the batwing vehicle the story pack has six movie based levels it's got a new Gotham City adventure world as well as a new battle arenas I gotta mentions is a twice alive game some of my favorite characters are Marty McFly Harry Potter and even a type of Hedgehog it's an extreme crossover where you get to mix up all of these worlds into one in order to play you have to have the Lego dimension starter pack but the cool thing is once you have the starter pack you never need to buy another one because you can use this toy pad for all the expansion packs both new and old ok let's see what we got in that box ok here you go all right so we got the pieces here we've got something for the gateway and of course we have our instructions you can actually get the instructions in the game but they also give you these in case you want a head start so Evans gonna build the bat-computer gateway and Jillian's gonna take care of the minifigures so let's go okay so put um right yeah and we also have some pieces for the batwing looking at it we can't build that until we get to that part in the game but you guys might be wondering this is Lego Batman movie and there's no Batman so what are we gonna do about that that's right we already have one he comes in the starter pack and the cool thing is you see this costume it's a great costume when you place them on the toy pad in any of the Lego Batman movie story pack areas he transforms it to the Lego Batman movie Batman it's time for the battle arena showdown so we've got our contestants and they all have buzzers because I'm going to be asking them some Lego Batman movie trivia I hope you guys study yeah yeah so we're gonna determine who's going on to the story mode the top two players will advance so if you answer the question correctly you don't have to do the disadvantage that I'm gonna give out two other people will have to do it so I've got some water and I've got some custom Batman eye patches to slow you down maybe let's get on with the battle arena okay so I'm gonna be Robin I will be back girl because I'm a girl and that you look like a bat all right and I will be both we are gonna be playing you let go Batman movie Joker take over Batcave then capture the flag you're trying to steal the other teams flag and bring it back to your own base okay okay here we go okay Oh Superman is taking over the computer spot down in the yellow corner so let's see who's gonna getting me in Super Mario oh that girl just got a flag and I think it's time for the first question what city does Batman live in Jillian Gotham City correct grab those cups of water and drink them you can't come back into the game until it's gone okay all right get back in the game I've been still drinking alright up good enough good enough go go okay okay guys it's time for the second question I'm ready I'm ready who is Batman's butler me too outfit is correct the two of you take the patches and put them on your face I blanked out hey don't steal the blue flag I'm trying but here's the third question what does Robin yell out when he changes his costume Evan a Rick correct so the other two of you guys have to sit up for 10 seconds oh man yellow flag okay on to the next question where does Batman and Robin send the Joker Johnny handsome zonas correct play with one hand for 15 seconds fine fine the big deal oh kind of all right you can thank those uh oh I'm sorry about that name two of the villains in the Lego Batman movie Evan a joker and Clayface good why not correct Oh pat your head and rub your tummy oh man for 15 seconds all right back in the game back in the game so Superman came in to take second place however he cannot advance to the story mode so Jillian will advance with Evan okay now it's time to play the Lego Batman movie level yeah okay so it looks like we do put Batman on so you need Batman for the lever well hey there's the guilt curtain is lower here we go here our Joker and his henchman oh this guy's in trouble oh no bad feeling about this oh you still awake is he gone the Lego Batman movie boy spike energy facility to hear his demands one thing once again anything about the mayor that's Lady Gaga and the Super Bowl hey here we go looks a little different because the Super Bowl stadium is destroyed but they've got her surrounded to face to place I see I see okay I'm gonna switch the bat it goes bad guys hey how is Robin already here I haven't adopted you yet okay this is Lego dimensions anything can happen yeah okay so you guys got to hit them with your Batarang zoom destroy so I'm Robin right now if you do um Oh a lot oh he changes into Knight ways yes Batgirl man again oh hey it says I'm they need me okay what do we have to do oh so we have to build a bat wave who can I build it okay we built the batwing it says do you want to save this model to its toy tag yep so now we got to place the model on the central panel there it is the toy tag is saved okay now we get to use the batwing in the game yay oh okay oh okay so I'm in the car now we've got to pull the things away boom use your Batarang power watch out for the other guy oh no he fell asleep gracefully Oh No poison ivy okay baby those big trees well vines I'm just gonna break this car cuz I can whoo it looks like I've built something with so I'm gonna build something whoa hey what are you don't wreck my thing V stubby I finished your thing and what is it oh it's the thing okay so now we have to shine it on here we gotta shine the light on something yeah shine Nigel wants to be in the spotlight standing spotlight whoa oh you have to build some more well thank you phase disorder oh look at the screen now we have to put Batman on the toy pad where it's flashing oh that's the punishment for waking me up you're getting blasted out of the pig head oh okay you gotta take out the other vine we have some flying dinosaurs who eggs okay here I come here I come oh what a stop throwing hearts at me man that's not cool okay we're gonna pull this oh no any smash Neelix oh oh hey he's flying away it's gonna drop it on there my mmm why why was he nice to you you almost smashed his eggs oh it's an apple whoa a giant catapult we got to load it up with some kind of ammo oh that girl just exploded I can't go on there oh yeah only Batman can because he's got the triple tornado I need something that I need something I need to put something don't you shoot those guys down okay shoot you oh it's a little oh wow he turned gray those computer screens oh okay Joker you have to get over there you have to do that something with that Batman why don't you try out your merch guns okay hey just like in the movie Batman has a merch gun and you can actually shoot merchandise on to his enemies BAM he that guy merch oh but I just got his heart it's kind of creepy okay so oh whoa okay you gotta move my character up there go is that the detective load I think so gotta do something here okay climb up whoa what's this hmm whoa whoa I just broke something but whoa whoa what I jumped in here it'll get chilly getting the Box down oh whoa you're gonna get this back girls flying around that she's gonna pick it was gonna pick you up let's bring it over here what is that so I need something new Green whoa okay now where we going now whoa what is that AHA there it is there we go okay what's happening it's filling up the tank oh and you're going the office now I hope that's the gonna lose that's what's happening whoa what do you guys have to do know that man is for Batman okay I gotta turn into the purple you gotta move Batman they're on the joypad what's happening whoa and now forming a giant water gun yes fire Oh hit Joker hit Joker Jill huh Joker's got the balloon Joe got always throwing things hey Joker oh yeah Jill we got em okay leg pieces car is a pile of dirt yeah Mima oh you mean clay okay you're a clown who means nothing to me hmm now if you'll excuse me I got a defuse that bomb whee boom got it okay guys so that was a look at the Lego Batman movie story pack for lego dimensions what you guys think I thought it was really cool because you could build stuff in it follow along with the movie I like how you have cool powers like current Robin turns into Nightwing yeah that was pretty cool I like how you guys have to do physical things with the minifigures so you're not just sitting still staring at a screen so that was pretty awesome it's available
