My entire childhood in less than two minutes. I remember how proud I was as a kid to be a Braves fan because of Chipper Jones. I knew that when he stepped up to the plate, I always believed something great was going to happen.
Ever since he’s retired, my relationship with the Braves really hasn’t been the same... that and the wildcard game vs Cardinals. HOW CAN YOU CALL INFIELD FLY WHEN THE BALL LANDS IN MID LEFT FIELD???

That year was so much fun (except for that game-which-shall-not-be-mentioned). Walk offs, comebacks, all of it. I've always loved that Chipper's last bomb came by walking off the Phillies.

You should really go buy his autobiography, Ballplayer. I bought it last week and am really enjoying it about 100 pages in. Good reading and a way to get a little bit of that baseball fix in these desperate times.
