the Illegal Items on the Dream SMP...

the dream smp has a lot of rules which means some of the items on the server are actually classified as illegal the main reason behind this is because you are not able to get them items in normal survival minecraft and with the rules on the server for example the end is banned on the server which means you can't get end stone and things like that which means end stone is illegal you shouldn't be having that on the server so how did rambu get a block of end stone well that's a good question because actually dream xd dropped him that block of end stone dream xd is dream's alternative account and is usually stuck in creative mode meaning that he can gather as many items as he wants and you'll see throughout this list that dream xd usually is the person to give people items and speaking of items that dream xd has given let's talk about player heads which if you don't know what that is well the name kind of gives it away it's just the heads of different players on the server and surprisingly many people on the server actually have each other's heads and usually that's not really that possible in fact bad boy halo owns his own head captain puffy's head and skeppy's head whereas foolish owns himself and frost's sons dreams dream xd's and cars and as i mentioned before these were all given by dream xd there's actually a player command that you can type in to gain anybody's head they don't even have to be on your server so if you're on your own creative world you can type this command in and get anybody's head that you want to but foolish and bad boy halo aren't the only ones on the server with player heads oh no a lot of people actually have these george owns his own punk owns his own rambu owns his own and wilbus skeppy owns tommy's and turbo owns his own which means a ton of these players all have at least one illegal item but let's be honest player heads are kind of useless they don't really do anything they may look nice on your wall but that's about it unlike shulker boxes now shulker boxes can only be gained from the end and seeing as we don't have access to the end how the hell did foolish jack manifold puns and rambu each get one well let's talk about that now the way that rambu gained his shulker box was a bit dodgy foolish has a lime shulker box that he actually gave to rambu in order to rent it out permanently from him i'm pretty sure it was something to do with foolish and sam but i'm not too sure there's probably some fraud in there so really rambu doesn't actually have his own shulker box but foolish actually has two one from team c's and one from drister which is dream's sister and another person who gained a shulker box from trista is actually puns pun says two sugar boxes as well one from team seas and drister the exact same as foolish but jack manifold only has one and only gained it from team c's so currently only three members of the server actually have a shulker box but let's talk about something that is a little bit more limited because three people having the same item well that's just not that cool so let's move on to rambu being able to mine up spawners and actually keeping the spawner this isn't usually possible at all even if you have a silk touch pickaxe you cannot mine up spawners and keep them so the way that rambu has gotten these items is very glitchy illegal-ish now because rambo is half-enderman and usually you'll see enderman picking up objects such as grass and it being picked up as grass not a dirt block so it's been coded onto the server that anything that rambu mines with his hand will drop as its silk touch form and it's kind of broken because now he can go around to any spawner on the server mine it up and pick up a spawner now all of these spawners do drop as pig spawners which is the same if you do the command on a creative world and the only way to change these spawners into a certain mob is to get the mob's spawn egg and smack it inside of the spawner so does anybody on the server actually have any spawn eggs well apparently eric owns a pig egg which wouldn't be that useful for a spawner but the way this was gained was kind of weird during the cmc's event eric goes to mine into a wall and well finds a chest with red terracotta and a pig spawn egg there's no hint or anything to who put it there i'm going to assume that dream put it there because obviously he has access to creative and that's the only way you can get these spawn eggs but i'm sure there was another reason for it being in that chest and being in that wall but i just don't know it i don't think many people do know what the reason for that is but eric isn't the only person with a spawn egg turbo owns a puffer fish egg which was given to him by dream xd now a lot of the times when dream xd is dropping items for people it isn't just for the sake of dropping it it will sometimes do these games or challenges where you put items into a dispenser and if it dispenses a certain item you then win something you win a prize so a lot of these illegal items that have been gained on the server are through dream xd then through a makeshift game show that they set up for a little stream now all of these illegal items are really cool but they're only going to get better because soon we've got bedrock and portal frames and barrier blocks but quickly moving on we're going to be talking about chorus fruits because rambu actually owns a chorus flower block chorus fruit and chorus plant block which have all been given to him by dream xd now the reason he owns all of these as well is that he can actually make more of the chorus fruit and he can make his own little farm and basically just farm this fruit forever in fact he's actually given some to foolish and well had some taken away from him by filzer which means rambu foolish and philsa are the only people on the server with chorus fruit but also everybody on the server could get this item if they just go to rambu's base or just ask granby for a bit then he'll probably give it to them and now everybody on the server can get an illegal item but do you know what's better than chorus fruit well it's bedrock you can see it you can go down and mine to it but you can't actually pick it up so that's why rambu technoblade and tommy have an item that nobody else can gain unless given to them by drister or dream and speaking of trista that is the person who gave all three of these people bedrock but the way that technoblade gained the bedrock was a bit different to just being given it like a rambu and tommy got given trista actually gave a piece of bedrock to tubbo and technoblade stole it from turbo which is kind of funny but if we move on drister actually dropped technoblade an end rod which he didn't actually have to steal off of anybody or anything like that but was just given an end rod now the thing is with androids they are kind of pointless they're mainly used for decoration they're a bit of a light source but that's about it but again i guess it's a legal item and a lot of these items will be pointless because a lot of people won't be bothering to use them because you can't get them normally so you might as well keep it in case you need to trade it or something but technoblade is the only person on the server with an end rod which makes it so much more valuable than if three or four people had one each so i guess it's kind of good in that position and speaking of positions let's talk about end portal frames because you know if you're going to the end and you're being teleported you change position yeah good segue anyway um area actually has five of them and these were all gained from the team seas event which a lot of the items on this list have been because the team sees event allowed people to gain some of these items because otherwise nobody else would have actually gotten them if there was an event where you could win some of these items then they just would have never been seen on the server so it makes sense that these items are only given away in certain events and for special occasions because if everybody starts to gain a shulker box or an end portal frame or an end rod then they're just not really that illegal are they they're just not that rare so it's good that they are being given out in events and limited time kind of things but one of the most cool items on this entire list is going to have to be the barrier block now if you don't know what the barrier block is well you have to spawn it in using a command and if you're not holding this item and you've placed one you cannot see it it's a completely invisible block that cannot be mined unless you're in creative and yet it's kind of overpowered especially to have on a survival multiplayer server and the worst person to possibly give this to i'd say would be tommy and that's who owns it tommy was actually given a barrier block by drister now the reason this is kind of overpowered and things is because if he places it in the right position he could completely screw up somebody let's say he placed it in front of somebody's door well they're going to have to move their entire house or change where the door position in the house is because you cannot mine that block so be great for a really good troll but also if you're thinking about it in terms of the prison or something like that if you place a barrier block in one of the redstone mechanics it screws up everything sam's not going to be able to mine that barrier block and we'll have to change the position of a bunch of redstone things in order to make everything work again this item could really screw up something especially inside of the prison so i guess let's hope that this doesn't get placed somewhere important or actually it does because that'd be kind of funny and i'd want to see people's reactions to that anyway the final illegal item on the server that we know of is in fact the elytra and well there's a video on screen right now to show who got it and how they even got this item
