Babe wake up summoningsalt dropped
holy fucking shit that ending. This must have been soul crushing
I really like the way he graphed the timeline, helps a lot to put these times into perspective
Fuck that ending hurt, amazing video as always.
Honestly, this video was such a pleasant watch.
There was great editing and story telling that reminded me of the Matt Turk video(my personal favorite). Really felt that the game had its own personality to overcome.
And what a way to end the video. Keep up the great work!
I'm glad he's covering this Punch-Out
edit: That ending was so heartbreaking. That pace way never happen again in a literal lifetime, or multiple people's lifetimes.
I've never been so upset at the end of a summoning salt video.
Games like this that are RNG heavy I will probably never speed run, ever. It's bad enough to play a game that's insanely skill based, but randomness is just... terrible. 1 in 2.6 million chance to save 5 seconds off of a personal best? Even if that game continues its exponential growth with eventually hundreds of people doing hundreds of attempts each day at the top level, a situation like that may not be seen potentially for longer than Super Mario Bros has been out.
I imagine this will get lost in the sea of comments, and because it's 2 days late, but hours before this video went live, FatPotatoSeal PB'd with a 2'33"24, which was his goal when he began doing ss. huge props to him to keep going and to get an incredible time!
