physically checked for the past few years someone i wasn't really what you would say a person who was passionate for the lord for the things of the lord but i was pursuing my own wants but it's running away from the things i knew i needed to do the lifestyle that came i was just there i wasn't concerned with with the gifts that god gave me which is to help expand his kingdom but i wasn't reading my bible maybe like hurts which i took hard of course but i mean there's no perfect system no perfect church but i was giving and giving and not receiving from god and the church serving god i'll pursue my own endeavors first oh i serve i'm not going to hurt anyone [Music] like [Music] so [Music] i would say that it was the death of my dad and brother yunyun talagang turning point but even before that when when my dad got sick he was diagnosed with cirrhosis i'm time to spend more time with the family the opposing [Music] time she visited me in london with his family after my dad passed away accountability are we doing no no no no he just was there sat there and spent time with me he was a friend after that i you know you know this guy genuinely loves me and will go out of his way too to be with me so those planted the seed but there was habit by this you people will know that you are my disciples if you love one another nothing big spend time you know for some people it's you end up running away from god when those things happen to you you know all these years of learning of reading time to apply what i've read started reading again and attending the group that time you said you asked hina when you saw me give my testimony that was 2018. i only got to start attending an actual a formalde group november the year before 2017. and then when i gave a testimony in church param i i just saw doors open i really have been wanting to serve god i got to meet more people from church kenya so at that time when you saw me give my testimony i was seeing someone i just started seeing this person getting to know and that went on for almost two years the thing did not end up how we were expecting it to end or to be rather so it wasn't the lord's way because we never basically got the blessing of his parents which is something we both believe in now how will you know if a relationship is the lord's will or if this person is god's best for you if you have your parents blessing on their relationship so we waited we did our part pero it came to a point where god moved to for it to come to an end it did and it so happened also and at that time you were ready and i was free from the relationship then that's when god allowed us to meet to finally be introduced when did we meet june 14th when did we propose october 7 december 2 when people find out let's say whoever whoever we get to talk to now when did you meet june 14th what do we say to them how did it happen less than six months we met we got together we got engaged so where's that going but for me i have to really like and be physically attracted to the person [Music] i mean temptation to look around and be easily tempted by so secondary of course for some people the attraction would grow some it's instant oh i find this person attractive you offer something like eventually yeah different i know but it has to be there second is i also knew that the trajectory of your life and spiritual was towards the lord not away and i knew that you would you're visible in church serving and you were not shying away from posting bible verses and your devotions you have a huge following you're not there for some people that's a risky to share to be openly bold about your faith i will not be ashamed of the gospel so you're not ashamed of the gospel so that's another thing oh this person is bored for the gospel third is mean what god did in my life was to to change my heart to have that hiss a portion of his heart of being a father to the fatherless when my brother died well i was more visible to being the best tito to my niece and nephew so i had that on a pattern drive to be that person and it was you being a mom was also a parent wait i can be a father to the fatherless so that's also something a bonus buy not really a baggage but a bonus for me that's what i want i vividly remember that day because i came from that unsuccessful relationship so hesitant to open up my life and be be known by someone again oh you know friends of course it's someone of the opposite sex boy i was unsure of whether it was a wise thing to do at that time what struck me the most was one you told me that that morning you talked to your mom about me how did you ask for that um [Music] girl would it be an issue single mom shout out sabine without batting an eyelash okay um no it's not going to be a problem but if you ask me five years ago of course but when you when you said that that day that meant so much to me i that stigma is really what was hindering others from giving their full blessing yon so for that to be established so early unlocking bag the more i know that it's the lord's will for us to not be together and for us to be together because if if god will something for you you don't even have to do anything he will give it to you but if it's not his will for you all because he loves you so when he gives it to you it's because he loves you if he doesn't give it to you it's awesome because he loves you [Music] you have a burden or a desire to walk alongside me to be father to my my fatherless child hindisha something now i have i had to ease into yoona because i think what could happen is when we're dating we're dating as if i'm single and then when we marry if you're not fully aware now kana ever since i saw you and go viral i already knew of course i mean you're a public figure but um i'm not sure it's something you can cultivate on your own it's like jumping on a pool but you have to commit first you might i don't think it's i won't be a perfect father i mean i just know that i want to i'm gonna fail i know every time islam i won't be the best example to you and the gummy but i also know that you know god has put in my heart to be a dad and that gives me comfort also you know another thing considering where i came from and seeing how things were playing out coming from where i came from i know i have to be wise because it's not just me who's investing in someone it's also my child but there's always that boyfriend one thing i i had to observe between you too oh yeah [Music] i just took a step back to see how it will how you'll interact and enjoy you it's not difficult to love gaming she's very adorable actually they was gummy served as the confirmation yeah for me but when i saw gummi's video of playing the khalimba that's when i knew that i felt god was speaking to me at that time while i was watching gummy play what was she playing with me but i felt like god spoke to me you're gonna be that's gonna be your daughter and love her if there's one thing you want people to learn about god or power pick up despite the speed and organi what is it word good time this year that's so clear is i said 43 80 to 19. he will make a roadway in the wilderness rivers in the desert there was no way we could meet before [Music] [Music] [Laughter] for me my question then was how much time do you think you need to be with someone or get to know someone before you say i know enough about this person [Music] the way our conversations were led i believe by the lord to talk about what family our values about the importance of spending time with god business will allow me the luxury of spending as much time as i want with the lord you value now work over family values personal you accept your blessing and acceptance of your mom for me so at that point enough national for me okay if this person asks true enough the day after la luchu that's that's also one of the ways i i realized confirmation and i guess if there's one thing on how i knew it's really you and it's really the lord's way it is because of the very nature of how how we just got together it's not it's not by works so even if i work hard for something if it's not tasty well for me so same thing with the love that we had for each other with the love that you had for me i didn't have to work for it [Music] even just when when you were offering it to me sarah because i felt so secure in here from friends to something i knew i'm different in this instance boyfriend your dream that's what you wanted to i think that's what you wanted to know you wanted to hear it from me basically so that day we became officially together those those words i love you will you marry me but i'm better to be safe i don't withhold that although emotionally you can say that it's for the protection of both i think what [Music] i guess for each other's protection energy
