in my house so far, I mean, it's been unsettling. <i>The year after we moved in,
my wife and my family</i> experienced
very abnormal things. They heard noises or,
you know, saw something happen or felt something go by them
or felt somebody grab them. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>We call him Shadow Man</i> because it literally
looks like a shadow, like a freestanding shadow. I want Kim
to help us understand. I just want to know, you know,
what's going on. <i>What is it?
Who is it? Why?</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> - I am in Roswell, Georgia,
right outside of Atlanta, and I am headed over
to see T-Pain the rapper. <i>He is a Grammy-award-winning
music producer,</i> rapper, singer, actor. <i>This man does it all.</i> <i>T-Pain has experienced</i> this shadowy, ghost-like figure
in his home, and I want to really help
him get to the bottom of what this is. <i>From what I understand,</i> <i>this has been going on
for a while.</i> It is causing plenty
of disturbances, and it concerns me
because there's children that live in this house, and I just don't know
what this is. But whenever I hear something
is shadowy or dark in color, it's not usually a good thing. This--this could be anything
from a poltergeist to, believe it or not, a demon, and I'm a little hesitant
to go there today. <i>♪ ♪</i> - All my life, I think I've been
skeptical about the paranormal, but my beliefs
have changed recently. Seeing some really crazy stuff
in this house we moved into. <i>♪ ♪</i> And I think I believe more
than I ever have. No, it doesn't feel
like we're alone at all. Every sound, every crack, every sound
of the house settling... <i>♪ ♪</i> It just-- it freaks me out. So I've always been kind
of weirded out by this house. <i>♪ ♪</i> What made me think there might really be something
in the house, <i>I had just got back home
from off the road.</i> <i>My wife, Amber, was already
in bed, so I lay in the bed.</i> And I'm kind of leaning
on my side because I'm about to plug
my phone up. <i>♪ ♪</i> As I'm leaning over, I feel Amber tap me
on my side right here. Boom. Twice. Real hard. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>And I looked back at her,</i> and she's on her phone,
like, just looking at her phone. And she looks at me like, "What? <i>What did I do?"
And I'm like, "What?"</i> - What'd you do that for?
- "What do you want?" Then I'm like, "You just
tapped me super hard. What did you want?"
- I did not touch you. -<i> "I didn't lay a hand on you.
I didn't move."</i> <i>And she looked me
in my eyes and--</i> and said,
"I'm telling you the truth. I did not touch you." - I did not touch you. <i>♪ ♪</i> - Scared the crap out of me. <i>[foreboding music]</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> So, one morning,
my wife got up before I did and started going to get
the kids ready for school. - Sweetie, you're gonna be late. -<i> And my son just,
you know,</i> he kind of wouldn't wake up. - Sweetie. - He wasn't opening his eyes. <i>He wasn't responding</i> <i>to anything
that she was doing.</i> - I don't want
you to be late. I'm gonna count to five. <i>♪ ♪</i> One, two... <i>[eerie breathing]</i> - And then she felt the draft
coming from this little-- this little door in his room. <i>It's--it's a creepy
little door.</i> <i>She looked back...</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> And it was open. <i>We've never opened that door,
like, ever.</i> We don't even know
where a key is to that door, and when it was open, it--it--
it scared her to death. <i>And all the sudden...</i> wham. It just slammed shut. <i>♪ ♪</i> And the second
that the door closed, my son woke up and just looked directly
at his mother and said, "Mommy, if you
do circles, he'll go away." - Then he'll go away. <i>♪ ♪</i> - And then he fell right back
asleep. <i>♪ ♪</i> - Wh--what? <i>♪ ♪</i> - What's--what's even scarier is that that door
was locked again after that. And that was--that still
freaks me out to that day. I don't go-- I don't go towards that door. <i>But then there was one night.</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> - Daddy. - My daughter, Lyriq, came down to my master bedroom
at 3:00 in the morning. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>She just said, "Daddy,</i> there's a man
standing in my doorway." At the time, my father-in-law
was living with us, and I was just like, you know, "Maybe it's--
maybe it's Granddad." - I think that's Grandpa
you're talking about. - She was like,
"It's not Granddad. <i>"I know what Granddad
looks like.</i> "There's a man standing
in my doorway right now, "and I just passed by him
to come tell you that he's still
standing there right now." The way she was describing it, this was a full-grown man. She was shaken,
so that kind of scared me too. <i>♪ ♪</i> - I told you
a story. <i>♪ ♪</i> - I looked in her doorway... - Come on. - And nobody was there. I checked
her granddad's room. He's still asleep. <i>I got her back to bed...</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>And I was just, like,
sitting in bed</i> kind of gathering up my own
thoughts and my own fears <i>about what the hell's
going on in here.</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> Why here and why us? And... <i>♪ ♪</i> I guess he got angry, and... <i>♪ ♪</i> One of the bedroom door
was slammed shut--boom-- and then the other one. I mean, that scared me straight. I didn't know what to do. <i>There's no kind
of--there was no wind.</i> The A/C didn't come on, nothing. There was no way
that I can explain <i>what happened to our room door.</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> I try to come at these
situations as--as positive as I can, but it's just scaring the hell
out of me. <i>[eerie music]</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> I think what bothers me the most
about this whole experience and about everything that's gone
on is just the uncertainty. <i>The shadow man
that we call Shadow Man</i> has been has been all around
the house, you know, in my club area,
in my bedroom, in my doorway,
in my daughter's bedroom, and I want Kim to help us
understand what's going on. <i>♪ ♪</i> - I'm already been getting a lot
of visions today since early this morning. <i>♪ ♪</i> The man that I'm seeing, this is not modern-day clothing
that he's wearing. <i>♪ ♪</i> This man looks like he
has some money, but he's young. He's very young
to have all this money. <i>♪ ♪</i> He's a smooth-talking
type of guy, like--like a typical salesperson that can sell you ice
in the winter. I don't trust him, though. I--I don't know
who this guy is. <i>♪ ♪</i> And I smell bourbon. There's bourbon somewhere. <i>♪ ♪</i> Someone liked to drink a lot. <i>♪ ♪</i> I just got this burning
sensation in my chest. <i>♪ ♪</i> Wow, I just see... I see blood all over bed linens. <i>♪ ♪</i> That may have something
to do with the shadowy figure. This guy did not
go to the light. <i>♪ ♪</i> I have several people here. I have a bunch of men. <i>♪ ♪</i> They all have the initial "R." Rick or Richard. They look like they died
in their 50s. They feel connected to T-Pain
like an uncle would be. <i>♪ ♪</i> I already feel anxiety
building up. <i>♪ ♪</i> I feel like someone's trying
to mess with me. <i>Someone or something.</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> Oh, here we go. <i>[tense music]</i> <i>♪ ♪</i> There's definitely

of the relatives of T- Pain and his wife. <i>♪ ♪</i> I keep seeing that man,

pacing the hallways up there. They just keep going

and he's agitated.</i> This thing's trying to mess

in this room. - Yes.
- There's a lot of that. - That's how we
feel all the time. - Yeah. - I'm uncomfortable
in this room. <i>♪ ♪</i> How do you sleep in this room? Do you sleep well?
-<i> Not good.</i> - No, not that good.
-<i> No.</i> <i>We don't sleep good
at all.</i> - I didn't think--
I didn't feel you did because I feel like there's
some energy that keeps, like, waking you up
or trying to get you up. - I'm always waking up.
- Out of nowhere, right? - Just all the time.
-<i> Yes.</i> - Like, nonstop. I probably sleep,
like, five minutes at a time. <i>♪ ♪</i> - When you wake up, physically,
what are you feeling? - Scared. - One night
we were just laying in the bed, and those doors-- both of those doors
just slammed. <i>♪ ♪</i> - These look like heavy doors. - They do not close
on their own, like, not at all. - It takes a lot of force
to close them. - Like, it's not--
there's no spring. - This is heavy.
- Yeah. - This is solid.
- Yeah. - Did you get up
and investigate? - Yeah.
I mean, I opened the door and looked out the thing,
shined a light down the hallway. That was far as I was going. I figured there was no one
actually there because, I mean, you got to be
Stretch Armstrong to-- there's a door here and there's
a door around this corner. -<i> And how--and they both went--
- Yes.</i> - And they both closed
at the same time. So I knew
that wasn't one person. <i>♪ ♪</i> - I have to just tell you
this is nothing to take lightly. Even though, at this point,
you're still alive and well... - Mm-hmm.
- Mm-hmm. - This is how energy
that lives in your home <i>can start to break you down.</i> <i>It can start
with the anxiety.</i> It breaks down your strength... - Right. -<i> Your confidence.</i> <i>You become weaker.</i> God forbid it touches
the kids' energy. There's something here
that should not be here, and that's the bottom line. And it's--it doesn't feel
safe to me, and I keep feeling that same guy
from that other century. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>And I smell bourbon.</i> There's bourbon somewhere. <i>♪ ♪</i> This guy liked to drink. He was a drinker.

a little bit too often? - Oh, well,
not as much as I used to. It's-it's gotten better. - But at one point,
it had gotten really bad. - It's gotten better. Yeah.
- In this home? - Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
- Mm-hmm. - For, like, two years,
it was just-- I had to have alcohol. - And it--maybe
it calmed you down. - It just--
it didn't calm me down. It made it worse. - I would think--yeah.
- I was just... - But it somehow connects
on--in some way. There's--there's a reason
that this man is attracted here
to--usually to people that either they have something
in common with or they can identify with you
for some reason. <i>I think this guy's trying
to get you to drink again.</i> Misery loves company.
- Right. -<i> Yes.</i>
- Right, right. - He's trying to feel
justified in--in what he-- the way he lived his life. And he's... <i>♪ ♪</i> There's something
that I keep sensing here, this overwhelming
burning feeling, like, right in the middle. <i>♪ ♪</i> And I kept seeing, in the car,
blood-filled sheets on a bed. And it's--it's--it's connected
somehow to you. We have to unstick this energy. We have to unblock it.
- Yes. - I just want to get
to more of the reason. <i>♪ ♪</i> What--what else did you
experience in this room? Anything crazy? - He was also tapped
really hard. - Oh, yeah.
- What? - I was over charging my phone,
about to lay down, and I leaned over this way
to charge my phone, and I felt like--like that hard. And I was--I looked back at her,
like, "What? What do you want?" - You were next to him? - And I was like,
"What are you talking about?" -<i> And she was on her--
she was on her phone.</i> Like, she was not even close
enough to me to where she... - Could've tapped.
- She would've had to lean and, like, crawl a little bit.
- Ugh, God. - You know,
it was definitely--like, yeah. Like, I--like, it was-- that would've started
an argument. Like what the--

tap me that hard? - Yeah, this--this thing is
trying to mess with both of you. It's trying to make

he can't just calm himself. <i>So when you guys
are trying to go to sleep,</i> he knows he'll get more agitated
if the house is so quiet and if there's no activity <i>and there's no energy
to feed him.</i> - Mm-hmm.
- He doesn't want that. He doesn't ever want you guys
