The Guest is Back in Hello Neighbor 2! (Patch 9 Full Game + Ending)

welcome back to hello neighbor 2 I'm back inside of this game to play the patch 9 update yes I am 3 weeks late to this update this update was meant to be released for Halloween but it seems that tiny build wasn't able to finish it in time so it actually got released late and now I'm playing it even later this update has been what we've all been waiting for since hello neighbor 2 released the introduction of the guest into the game I'm not going to take much longer to intro this video let's begin a brand new game I'm going to be pointing out everything new and everything that's been changed in this game we're starting off with a brand new save now this update is very interesting and actually not what we expected and I'll tell you why in a minute but first let's watch through this cut scene cuz I believe something is different in it okay so part of this cut scene has been changed and it's here look at this the struggle where Aaron tries to escape from the neighbor is slightly different and now we're coming up to the guest there he is that's our first appearance of him but he's going to be appearing a lot more in this update so stay tuned for that okay so I'm not going to be playing through the whole game but I will just skip through this tutorial cuz I have to do a quick speedrun of this the amount of times I've played through this tutorial is actually pretty ridiculous it's got to be something like 20 times it's actually crazy now this this cut scene's exactly the same I think we're going to get knocked out by the neighbor and he's going to take our camera this is the same this is the same as when the game first launched and Quentin is going to wake up in his office ready for a day of investigating I'm so excited for this oh that's interesting hold on I've just noticed something here I didn't know this was in the game this looks like this is displaying the trailer I did a breakdown of this trailer when it came out this is like the teaser for the update speaking of the update I actually want to talk about this we're going to grab our camera and run this way so over the last year we've had teasers about an update that was meant to be a sequel to this main game if you don't know this game hello neighbor 2 actually ends on a massive Cliffhanger and we never got an update to explain what happened in the end but we've had so many short videos and posts teasing that the patch 9 Halloween update would be taking place directly after that first ending and would explain what happened to us however According to some people in the Discord server it seems that tiny build actually ran out of of time to finish the update so instead of releasing it as a sequel to hello neighbor 2 they seem to have released it as a separate area inside of hello neighbor 2 as you can see I've started a brand new save file cuz we don't actually need to play through this game to get to the new area in fact you can get to this area anytime from when you begin the game to when you end it you can even come explore this place after you finish the game this update is basically just a separate area from the rest of the town as you can see this bridge is now open now I talked about this in my breakdown for the teaser of this update that this bridge would be opening when this released and we can actually cross over to this other section of map that we were never able to get to before now I don't believe there's any extra things you can do here but if we follow this road all the way to the hidden tunnel this was actually bricked off in the previous version of the game so we can actually enter this tunnel now I've taken some items with me just in case I need them but I'm pretty sure they'll get deleted from my inventory as soon as I pass through here like I said this is a separate area it actually has a separate save file in game that you can reset so let's walk right into the darkness I believe this should teleport me here it is the loading screen we're getting teleported over to the next area I check in my back yeah there's nothing here it looks like it's midnight on my watch as well which is interesting and as you can see the end of the tunnel leads out into the woods surrounding Raven Brooks tiny build actually posted this really helpful map on screen here this is where it is in relation to Raven Brooks but like I said it's basically a separate area that you can teleport from the main area too now that all the explaining is done let's have a look around we've got we've got some keep out signs this update does add in the guest who will just lurk around these woods so we do have to watch out I feel like I can hear him okay let's do some more exploring there's a door here oh there's another camera for me that's actually really helpful cuz it does have a separate inventory for the section so I can't keep any of my items from the other area look like I need batteries or fuses or something for this I don't know what this could be doing there's a switch here it looks like it's to turn that on I don't want to do that that could attract his attention oh there's a there's a Hammer here I believe this is part of the new building right before the update release they actually released a trailer for this you can definitely rotate this can I place this somewhere like oh I actually can oh I need a crowbar to pick it back up again that's actually um actually not great that I've just put it there is it oh here's a crowbar so I can pick this back up so we can use the hammer to nail wood to the floor and then the Crowbar to pick it back up there's also one of these that looks like some sort of a fuse or a battery or something here one of those goes in there and I'm going to assume there's more of those around the map the inventory actually looks different now you can pick up more stuff it's like got multiple layers to it that's actually interesting oh there he is there's the guest right there I'm very scared of him cuz I believe he behaves more like the early hello neighbor 2 Alphas versus hello guest as in he'll come straight towards you oh we respawn back here that actually makes sense that was a very very cool attack cut scene though I think that's one of the coolest in the game hold on okay let's go look for some more fuses I'm going to guess that that's what we need to do I hope it's not too dark for you watching the video it's pretty dark on my screen right [Music] now oh what has that done uh okay there's more planks of wood here in case I need them and a lot of levers what the heck got like directions on them this area looks like some sort of like a lumber mill or something I forgot to mention by the way the guest's new outfit I talked about it a bit in my video about the teaser for this update not really sure what I'm meant to be doing here but we can we can figure it out there's a mine cart here we could play some Minecraft actually maybe I only have one fuse in this whole map maybe I have to trade it between different ones to to power different things let's see if I turn this on now let's run all the way back here I want to try and operate the crane now cuz I think I've got that powered up the thing is definitely here it's definitely on now what do we want to do let's try oh it actually does work it can move along this track hold on I don't know what I to do with the crane now let's try powering up the mine cart I guess so I should be able to now get in here right I can actually ride this Minecart what this is this is awesome hold on oh he can get me in the mine cart I thought I was safe oh he's right behind me he's right behind me oh oh the jump scare is actually Terri jump scare is actually terrifying where am I why am I I guess this is technically a different spawn location right the mine cart I don't want him to catch me again I'm going to try and go as fast as I can oh he can definitely catch the mine cart he's so F he's so fast oh my God I don't know how to get rid of him where am I now in a circle of mushrooms this is strange let's look at for directions this is back to the lumber mill and this looks like to a graveyard so I guess we go this way I don't know why I'd want to go to a graveyard let's check this out this is like the church and the graveyard this is looking super spooky for Halloween even though it's November 18th right now oh man wouldn't it be so cool if we could find Diane's grave here can I can I go in here it doesn't look like it everything's lit up though oh man this is actually looking epic I can go in this one I can go in the church let's head up here it looks like it wants me to climb this and I did see this in the trailer I think we have to use like planks of wood to like get up here so let's see if this works do just like that so we can walk along this building mechanic is a little bit weird not going to lie now I've run out of planks wood so I have to find some more I guess or maybe I can jump this okay let's grab some of these I think I somehow need to get across to that other platform over there let's see if I can just do some cheeky mantling tricks all the way up here yes we can I definitely need to go get more wood planks so uh I'm going to go try to find some more I don't know if they're just scattered around okay let's try to get some of these Machines working I'm not really sure how they work oh you know this must be the chopping one so maybe we have to use this crane put the wood on this chopping thing and then get it like chopped and then dispensed into the mine cart that could be it that could be oh I got one I got one okay that works now let's move this along we're right there we're going to drop that right there okay I think that we can only do three at a time oh there it does work it does it actually works it chops all of them up into pieces okay so it seems like we now have an infinite source of wood we can pick them up using the grabby thing and then and then chop them up using the choppy thing and then put them in the mine cart and bring them over to the church to climb all the way up to that top bit okay I think I finally managed to chop all this wood and put it in the mine cart we're on our way over to the church I should have enough now to be able to build up you do not know how long this has taken me this is probably the hardest thing I've ever completed in any game ever I really really hope I have enough cuz I do not want to have to do that section again okay I think we are here we're going to begin going up here okay here we go I just got to get to this thing oh I've made it I've made it oh that's that's down that looks like Steps right there to get up let me see if I can Bridge across okay okay I've got I've made it across let's try to climb up these steps now I'm so scared right now that I'm going to fall I'm pretty sure this is where I have to [Music] go that was definitely not a good idea okay let's run back and go get some more from the mine cart I think this may be the last batch that's in there so I better be able to make all the way to the top with these ones this is the most precarious parkour I've ever done and I've played every hello neighbor game i' I've actually made it I've actually made it there's more there's more planks of wood here okay I guess I'm going to go this way oh no I've run out um it's okay it's okay I can make the jump the Hat oh isn't this the man in the Hat's hat I'm sure it is let me take oh that's the chair okay have we made it definitely not I still need I need to keep going throw this chair down do I really need this chair I don't know why it allowed me to pick it up okay I'm getting really high up here now so it turns out we've actually got to do some OG hello neighor box stacking which looks absolutely horrible but um but it's what has to be done so we're going to do it I need three of these boxes come on come on come on come on now let's try and make this jump I have to nail this jump now there we go I've actually made it okay I need to take a second to breathe look how high up I am now wow there's where that's where I got all those boxes from by the way let's do this what is this this is connected to the bell I don't think this is normally how you ring a bell though what's this [Music] doing um oh oh my we've actually we've dropped the Bell down through this floor there's like an underground this is so so creepy what there's something buried here hold on okay this I think think this is the final part to the game now we're in the basement of the church we've already done a bit of a trapo puzzle in this game before haven't we how do I open this one oh maybe I need to use one of these rocks that was just right on the ground yeah there we go okay we can open this one now okay now I need to put this one right in there very very simple puzzles in this don't know what that's about this is terrifying by the way please don't say I need more of those wood planks I will actually I will actually quit this game if I need more of those wood planks I have to dig myself out of here I like that it's to give given me another shovel just in case I didn't keep the one from before okay there we go I've made it out there's doors here oh this is in the other crypt oh oh cut scene oh oh it's the it's the daughter and the mom it's the two members of his family who died it's it's it's Diana and Maya and they and they're giving me a hug which is nice but they're like they're just mannequins it's not really them right I don't like how they're walking it's very creepy it reminds me of the guest's early animations and I've passed out it's teleported me back here did I complete it that ending was actually crazy that was like mannequins of them I'm guessing they were both buried there like the Peterson Crypt or the Peterson tumor whatever oh wait it's it's put me back in here hold on so I'm guessing this is sort of like the free play mode mode of this map like I've completed it and now it's put me into the free play mode cuz if you don't know when you complete the main game it actually gives you like a free play mode where you can explore the map freely so let's ride our mine cart all the way back around to the beginning of the guest section back to that lumber mill so I guess the point of this map was to show where the Petersons are buried but that was very very cool we are coming all the way back around to the beginning again let's slow down my mine cart I see the guest over there lurking around let's go say hide
