The Future of T-shirts Design: Exploring Ideogram AI's Potential - it's better than Midjourney

Welcome to our DIY t-shirt design tutorial in this video I will guide you through the exciting process of bringing your ideas to life using images from ideogram AI whether you're a passionate artist or just looking for a fun project a fun t-shirt project with easy to follow steps I will help you create a unique and personalized t-shirt design so first let me introduce you to ideogram AI thank you so when you first come to ideogram AI you'll be asked to log in and once you've logged in you'll see this very clean interface I this is the best AI image generator I've come across and it's free and it generates decent images and text as well so you can see from the images that I'm showing on the screen here you can see that you can add text as well to the images when you scroll through and you look at the different designs that you can make use C you can incorporate words into your design and like say if we look at this one I'm not weird I'm a limited edition you can just scroll through and you can see how the text looks sometimes it gets it wrong but most times I've seen it's quite spot on it might have a spelling error here out there but it's quite good because you can always take the image that you like the best and you can remix it so we'll go back to our main interface so on there you'll find this this right at the top here is an area where you can type in your prompt and your prompt can be really short um because then you can use that text to generate the image in ideogram Ai and then you can also choose the style of the image that you want to create you can look at all the different styles that you can create lucky style is if you want just a whole different images to be generated by idiogram Ai and over here you can see the different types of of images that you can create whether you're doing a t-shirt design or a poster 10 by 16 is more portrait style um maybe a poster Style size one to one is the one we'll be using for the T-shirt design 18 to 10 is like a screen size design so and once you've put in your prompt then generate will be activated so for example we'll just give it a try I will put in a prompt and then we'll see what we get okay so now we've put in our prompt we want to create a vector t-shirt design a cool vintage retro burner dog with a retro sunset background and we'll choose the style of the photo poster um so if you click here you can see all the different styles that you can use um and you could pick you can even pick a lucky style if you want one we'll just pick those different styles and hit generate and then you see it will start to work on generating the image from the text that you've just entered so as it finishes to generate the images you can already start to see the types of images that it's going to generate and there you go so then you can have a look and see I really like this one you can see any recent images that have been generated in idiogram AI by different people and you can actually go in and have a look and look at what uh prompts they've used and you can learn from the different prompts that they've used in case you want to use that for your own designs so there's quite a lot of Halloween themed designs and you can also look at what's trending this is what you see by default if you're following anyone there you would see their images here and you can see the top light images and so you can actually if you if there's any that you like and you'd like to look at closely you can hit the like or the hat and it'll keep that image in your liked images which you see if you go to your login area there you can then see all the things you've generated and all the ones you've liked so that would just be there under your your username over there so what I'm going to do now is I'm going to pick one of these designs and we'll work on that and put that on a t-shirt in canva design the t-shirt in canvas so I really like this one let's work with that one so what will come we'll download that image and there it is all good so clip drop is a background it removes the background from the image so I just like to do that to make sure that um our image is good to go remove background you can also remove the background if you've got canva premium but I'll just do that here um to show to show you okay once we've removed the background using clip drop will then come to vectorizer dot a i and on here where we're vectorizing our image removing any pixelated parts of the image just to make it um a better image that we can use on our t-shirt design so we'll bring in the image that we've just created with the background removed and now vectorizer ai will vectorize that image so that it's ready for us to bring into canva and work on our design so you can sort of see the vectorized image is brighter and it it looks a whole lot better than the original design so once we have that we can download our our design so over here in canva we're going to create a t-shirt design color we'll bring that to our canvas so what I want to do this quite a popular phrase on t-shirt designs over on Etsy which so for our design we're going to use a very popular trend on Etsy at the moment that in my era um shared designs so you can see there is quite a few searches for it but when you go there you can see already that design is being used quite a bit especially if you look for in my dog Mama era you can you can see that um there's quite a few designs um using that Trend so what you do when a design is being used uh quite a lot by other sellers is you Niche down within um that Trend or within that Niche and what that means especially if you're creating a design for dog lovers it just means you can go and be really specific with a particular type of dog breed and so that's what I've done here I'm going to be basing my design on the Burmese mountain breed um or create a t-shirt based on that and I know that works because when you go into e-rank so I use e-rank to do my Etsy keyword research so in there if you search for something like Burmese mountain dog you can see that that keyword has a high amount of search is but a low competition in Etsy which means many buyers are looking for a product with that keyword but only a few sellers are making it so that makes it a very good keyword to use that's why I'm making a t-shirt based around the Burmese mountain dog I know that owners of this dog call it the burner dog so that's why I'm making a burner mom shirt so once you're in canva here you can add text to your design so we might just do that [Music] so we bring in our mock-up and we'll add our t-shirt design on cloud mockup and just resize it to fit and then the other thing to do is just to play around with the transparency so that it doesn't quite look like the image is just sitting on top of the T-shirt it actually looks like the images part of the t-shirt and yeah and there we have it that's our mock-up and now we can use that mock-up on our Etsy listings and start selling the T-shirt [Music] so this is how you would design a t-shirt using an image generated from ideogram AI which is an AI image generator and I just love it because the interface is just really cool it's clean and it's easy for a beginner so you should definitely give this a try and I hope you have fun with it
