hello everyone dr kevin zeta with you with warrior notes and we are in dalton georgia with all our friends we just finished an amazing weekend with john ramirez we talked about overthrow and um john ramirez was a is an amazing friend and a man of god and i'm here with all of our staff and volunteers for the weekend i just want to share some things with you out there in youtube land and facebook and you know i want to talk to all my partners and students as well but um we we have come to this place and time with the lord that there's a lot of decisions that have to be made if you want to go on and it's a lot of times when there's a change we we look for a change of guard we look for different things you know as a sign that something's happening with the lord but you know really we should know this in our spirits not because someone uh is a change a change in uh the guard or you know change in seasons uh jesus jesus said that the times in the seasons are designated for only the father to know and what he he explained to me that he's coming back sooner than i than i that i know but he didn't know he didn't know when he was coming back and he said the father won't tell him and he said the spirit doesn't know that none of the angels know only the father knows these things and so um there is a there has been a change that has happened and i i know that the the sensitivity of the body of crisis and where it needs to be so i have to explain a couple things to you that that i i think you should be aware of um paul talks to the congregation in philippi and um he kind of reiterates a lot of things he's talked about in his other letters but i i really feel like the lord is highlighting a couple things here as um as things change in the physical a lot of people don't discern that something has already happened in the spiritual in order for that to to occur so first thing i want to tell you is is that if you see something change in the physical we we it is a lag of of up to up to six months or a year um this happened back in 1948 when israel became recognized as a nation actually a lot of things happened in 47 that um you know someday i'll write a book on all that but a lot of our government agencies were formed in 47 because of some things that happened and then in 48 israel became a nation and when i was with the lord and before i was sent back i saw that there was wars going on in the heavenlies that were preemptive according to how you can market in history so like if we look on a schedule uh or the history and you see these different dates when there was wars or these major events happen i saw that a year ahead of time there was angelic wars going on and there was all kinds of things clashes going on in the heavenlies and um the having to emphasize a lot of history in in my college for some reason the college i went to they had a lot of history courses and things i started to correlate these events and try to figure out okay if daniel the book of daniel was written from both sides so daniel was in babylon he was yanked from jerusalem and his people and he was in captivity but the angels kind of when they they came to him they pulled back the veil and they showed him okay here's what's going on now and then this prince is going to come and i'm going to fight him and then but what was interesting was i because of what i saw on the other side i went and took the prince of persia and the prince of greece and and i took all the the powers that are mentioned there that that michael was was uh fighting and i went into history and i i saw that um these were this was preemptively speaking about the world powers that fell and arose it was in sequence and some of them hadn't even come up yet but that they were already fighting in the heavenlies with the prince of persia and the prince of greece these were the secession of world powers and it was preemptive so the war was going on with angels before that world power either fell or was brought forth a new one was that's the first indication that maybe there are signs that that uh if we're spiritually discerning we can know that there is an open heaven so to speak like right now it's an open heaven but people will read about it in history and they'll say why didn't they discern it was open to heaven because all these bad things were happening but see the the the bad the war for what we just went through happened you know years ago and then it manifests physically so the whatever is coming next is already happening now in the spirit realm so anyway paul was talking to the philippians and he's addressing a couple of things that i feel like we've gone through again it seems like cycles of of issues with the body of christ so he's he's saying here in a chapter one verse three and four it says my prayers for you are full of praise to god as i give him thanks for you with great joy i am grateful for our union so he's talking about his partnership with them and our enduring uh partnership that began the the first time i presented you the gospel i pray that you're with great faith with great faith for you because i'm fully convinced that the one who began this work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our lord jesus christ now we think that's a nice introduction and that's a nice thing for paul to say but see you got to pick up that he's an apostle so as an apostle he's saying he's talking about the the work that god began in you but then he says and will faithfully continue to mature you see that's an apostle upon an apostle uh wants to be part of the inception of it but then he wants to also be there to make sure that they that there's a development and a maturity a transformation so this is all in verse six he says in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our lord jesus christ so that's kind of like how my heart is towards the ministry is that it's not good enough just to get numbers and get people saved or get students or you know it's it's at the end of the age did all these people that got born again did they did they uh receive discipleship and did they mature into the fullness of what they're called to do because i'm i feel like i'm responsible for their books even though that's god's job but if he's assigned you as an overseer in any way what i'm concerned about is that the wolves don't come in and take anybody there should be no casualties whatsoever you know and you know we mentioned that this weekend about it says that jesus said that the real pastors the real shepherd won't run when the wolves come but he says he was calling them these kind of pastors that just ran when the wolves came and that's not a real pastor and you know the the question is is you know are we battle ready because every when everything's nice and you know it's good it's nice to have a position and you know flaunt your title but the the real people that really stay stay with it they don't want recognize they just they just they just want to be faithful and these characteristics of the fruit of the spirit become more important than the title so when people people that are faithful you'd rather have that than have somebody who's called an apostle and then abandons you know what so what good is that you know it's just a fair weather thing whereas the people that stay faithful through the whole thing so that's what paul is setting up here he's he's he's wanting them to know that he's permanent with them and that that he wants to oversee them because jesus did say go forth and make disciples of all nations not he didn't say converts he said make disciples so as i've explained this i saw that people that followed jesus around they were called disciples you know even though there were 12 disciples but there was a lot of people that followed him around and the idea of a rabbi having having uh be in the in the status of mentor that is that people adhere to his teachings which were called disciplines so a rabbi had disciplines that he taught and he the people that followed him were called the disciples because of the disciplines that he taught so that's how the word disciple came was they just adhered to the disciplines of the rabbi and they just followed him around and then so they had these little groups and you'd see people just following them around and he they would just teach and so they called him rabbi and then then um that's how this this concept happened so with paul paul felt like he was called to be an overseer which meant that he was a sent one sent to start a work in different places and then um appoint pastors over that but you know i was trained in college to to to make it what they call indigenous so you choose somebody from that area and then they already know the people they understand the culture and then you train up a pr pastor from that area that understands the people in the culture so that you don't you don't change necessarily change the culture you can change the their belief system without messing with you know things that are probably just neutral you know um so he he's praying for them he says no wonder i pray for you with such confidence verse 7 since you have a permanent place in my heart that's a true apostle you have remained partners with me in this wonderful grace of god through though i am here in chains for standing up for the gospel only god knows how many how much i dearly love you with a tender affection of the lord jesus christ the anointed one verse nine i continue to pray for your love to to grow okay so now he switches and he's he's asking that their love grows he's interchanged the word there um in the maturity he's now talking about love equating it with maturity if you if you catch this so he says increase beyond measure your love bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insight into all things so now he's equating revelation and spiritual insight with maturity which is he's saying growing in love and you have to catch these things because paul's doing that on purpose and if you look at the greek language if you look at the words he could have chose there's sometimes seven words for one of our words but he chooses a certain word so english is actually the worst language to translate the bible into because it's not it doesn't give you a lot of tools whereas greek gives you many many options within a word and so i always go to the original word to see like why did paul use because he's very very smart person very learned and he was going to take over be the head of all the pharisees in the world under he was under gamaliel who was the head pharisee and then he was going to be promoted to that he was striving and pressing gamaliel by persecuting christians because he was trying to gain points for that promotion and he's choosing these words and this is where i think the maturity level of the church has to inc this is how you can increase the maturity level is you look at why why paul is saying things and why he's choosing certain things and catching the fact that this is a very very learned man and he's he's really setting you up and i know that you wouldn't understand this unless i told you but the pharisees were trained to be lawyers they were literally supposed to be able to argue in a as a court case doctrine so it wasn't enough to just know know you know the beliefs and the law they had to be able to argue it and um so he was like a lawyer so he if he if you learn this but style paul he was always presenting a court case he was always setting you up so he's always saying stuff because he's leading you so he's leading the witness he's leading you because he has a goal and what how what he his goal is in a conversation he's very smart man so he he's he's really setting them up here so he's talking now you all need to you all need to grow in love bringing you into the rich revelation so he equates walking in love to the rich revelation and insight which is all what we all want we want to have the sea in the spirit we all want to um know what's going on around us but he's a he's saying that that that my prayer is is that your love would grow so that you can have this spiritual insight but this is very interesting it seems backwards but it's really this is the this is scripture where i think we have it backwards we want to have eyesight but paul said if you don't have love you have nothing and love is the greatest so let's go on in verse 10 says this will enable you to choose wow so you can actually be able to make right choices and he calls it the most excellent way of all which is the same phrase he used in the love chapter of first corinthians so he's saying that the love is he's saying here that love is is the excellent way okay so this will help you to choose the most excellent way of all becoming pure and without offense until the veiling of christ can you imagine being pure and without offense for that long of a period of time wherever whenever christ is unveiled but this is this is literally the vision that a an apostle has he has that ability to see the dispensation and know that there's a timeline on the earth that has to fit into what god's plan is okay you will be filled complete with the fruits of righteousness that are found in jesus the anointed one bringing great praise and glory to god so he's wanting to see that fruit of the righteousness okay verse 12. here here he gets into this he goes i now now he's really getting to what he wants to talk about because something's bothering him he said i want you to know dear ones what has happened to me has not hindered but helped my ministry okay so obviously somebody's saying something against him because this is the real reason he's writing the letter he's bothered he says it's causing my ministry to be expanded and spread to many people for now the elite roman guards and government officials overseeing my imprisonment have plainly recognized that i am here because of my love for the anointed one and what i'm going through has actually caused many believers to become more courageous in the lord and be bold and passionate to preach the word of god all because of my chains so obviously paul has been accused that you know he's thrown in jail because he did something wrong and it's hurt in his ministry there's somebody the other ministries obviously as we read further are are bashing him because he's thrown in jail but he's saying listen man even the roman guards are hearing the gospel because i'm in prison my chains have actually caused an increase in the ministry so obviously he is in the defensive mode because of these other ministries and you know you know i found this out in college that there were they were slamming him so that's why he calls him super apostles he's mocking he's mocking the fact that you know if paul was a real apostle he wouldn't be in jail you know we're out here we're we're doing it and they were really working against him um okay so it's true so he just here he goes he just lets him have it here he goes verse 15. it's true that there are some who preach christ out of competition and controversy so that's their motive is to compete and to create controversy or emphasize controversy for they are jealous so he just nails him he goes they're just jealous over the way god has used me he just says it many others have pure motives they preach with grace and love filling their hearts because they know i have been destined for this purpose of defending the revelation of god okay so here right here is another thing that we miss and this is what i was told by jesus and i i didn't have never heard this before before jesus told me this he said that paul's main purpose but i didn't know it was here it's right here it says i'm destined for the purpose of defending the revelation of god you would think it was to start works you know to work miracles to to start churches to have disciples but his jesus told me that a true apostle defends the faith he defends doctrine he defends the belief system his revelation that was given to him by god he was assigned to defend that revelation which was given by jesus himself so all these other ministries they were emphasizing and coming in and telling them well you're jews you still have to obey the law i mean that's that's oversimplifying the whole thing but that's essentially what they were saying is well you're a juicer you still have to obey the law jesus said he came to fulfill the law so paul's revelation of us being in christ and being seated with him it it really it really causes us to go into another step in the new testament and and uh the jews weren't willing to take that step unless paul would preach the fact that it's by grace that you're it's it's by grace that you're saved not by works and that if you love god and you love your neighbor as yourself you fulfill the law because it it's you obey all the laws if you walk in love so which is his emphasis here is about love maturing into love causes you to obey the law and fulfill the fulfill everything and then you fulfill your ministry by walking in love okay so he doesn't stop there of course because he's he's upset so his the true the true calling of an apostle is to defend the faith so he's protecting wolves that come in that insert people if you look now you can think all the statements he made in each letter like you know you were doing so well who who put a curse on you a witch which is cursed that you started in the spirit now you're gonna you're gonna finish in the flesh in other words these judaizers they called them would come in and say well you still gotta obey the law you got to obey all the holidays you got to do all this because you're a jew right and paul's like he's rebuking peter it publicly for favoring one or the other and we're all one in christ and there was this big controversy going on because a lot of the people were jews that had converted but then there were gentiles who ate bacon you know and they're sitting there like they're serving bacon with eggs you know and the jews are like we can't eat this and so there's this big thing like that so the ministries were taking advantage of all this and saying and causing division so you understand what i'm saying right everybody's good okay so he says this this is the key verse for the time that we live in right now and what you're gonna see happen in the next six months to a year what you'll see is you'll see the fair weather people come back in and they will they will do and save things to just latch on to the momentum of people who have just stayed through the whole thing and stayed faithful to just the gospel message and then of course as soon as it recovers then they'll have to redo all of their dvds on the book of revelation and the end time events because it's not it's not ending see so they preached it it's all going to end and then it doesn't end and then we have to go through another cycle oh well it's going to end but it's you know and it's like well how many times the the seven seals could only be broken once so how many times are you going to break them how many times are the bowls of wrath going to be poured out you know we're on the third one and then the fourth one never happens and then we go back to number one again in other words everybody's waiting for the creatures to come out of the abyss and then they don't come out you know just just more politicians come out you know but that you know like in other words it just like it just starts over again because it's god's timeline and it it doesn't so what paul is saying listen you know you gotta you gotta look at what's important and that is is that the gospel is preached the message is preached period and we're not to interpret the times we're supposed to discern but not interpret so we know that that things are happening but you can't draw a conclusion and that's what you're going to see in the next six months and people are going to have to start redoing and hoping that you know hoping that um that they get it right one at least once but paul's saying you can get it right by just preaching the good news you know and um and helping people you know people after a while you you know you say something you know and then it doesn't happen well then if you keep saying well you know it's going to happen next week and that's what people are doing they're like you know all these things are going to happen they're going to happen and then they don't happen it's like well at what point do you just just preach the gospel just say you know god's healing people he's delivering people he loves you he's not doing all these bad things instead of focusing on trying to figure out the timeline okay so in in verse 17 says those who preach christ with ambition and competition are insincere so these are christians they just want to add to the hardships of my imprisonment so he's saying they're doing it to make it hard on him so whatever it is that they're doing like which i explained to you what they were doing they were they were saying essentially um one of my professors in college said essentially uh from the writings that we could gather from you know the cnns of the day the uh you know the news people there were people that reported that she could read their books they were just historians and there's a whole bunch of what they call apostolic fathers and um different writings you can read and it was just essentially neutral people which now these days it's not neutral anymore the news but back then they would just write i mean people that met paul you could read about people that that saw paul and other people that saw jesus and they were just historians that wrote um they said that paul didn't he was in jail because he didn't have enough faith that they weren't in jail because they had more faith than paul that he was not operating in faith and that's what's that's what fired him up is that they were saying that and they're saying you know we're here we'll help you they were coming in and taking the people and putting them back under the law telling them that they gotta obey the law they were called judaizers you know so anyway some of you might not understand all this verse 18 says yet in spite of all this i am overjoyed for what does it matter as long as christ is being preached well that is amazing as amazing statement he was happy that the message is being preached but he says if they preach him with mixed motives or with a genuine love the message of christ is still being preached and i will continue to rejoice because i know that the lavish supply of the spirit of jesus the anointed one and your intercession for me will bring about my deliverance no matter what i will continue and hopefully passionately clinging to christ so that he will be openly revealed through me before everyone's eyes so that's how he talks about being an open book where everybody could read it and that's the whole thing about transparency is that you you know you want to be transparent so he he's saying that that whether it's the gospels being preached with selfish motives and agenda or through the pure motive he said at least it's being preached and um but you know he essentially said this he goes i've got a dilemma so he's done he's literally done and to tell you the truth i feel this way every day i feel like literally everything that he's saying here i feel the same thing because i see it and i know you all do too you see the motives and the way you know this is not a business you know ministry is not supposed to be a business it can be run as one because of all the government laws and everything you know you've got to run it that way but you don't run people like a business unless you're you're really you know how many businesses actually are thinking about the people they're serving or even think they're serving you know they they don't even consider it serving people to have a business they consider it just a way to make money and the selfish motives of doing things for the money is that this is what i'm talking about the corporate culture that comes in you got to be careful that what you do you know why do you do what you do and he said this here's his dilemma he said each day that i live means for me to bear fruit in the ministry he said that's the positive side he says but to tell you the truth i just want to leave my body i just want to i want to be released from my body and joined fully to christ that would suit me fine but the greatest advantage to you would be that i would remain here and you can see why i'm torn between the two and i don't know which one i prefer yet deep in my heart i'm confident that i will be spared so that i can add to your joy so he's thinking he's bringing value to the people he's saying you know i'm going to stay for your benefit i'm going to bring value to you he said deep in my heart i know that i can add to your joy if i stay and it will further strengthen your maturity in faith if i stay that's what he says okay when i am free to come to you my deliverance will give you a reason to boast even more in the lord jesus christ so he he ends with an encouraging note here telling them keep living your lives based on the reality of the gospel and so he didn't consider his chains as being god working against him and you know we know we know now that satan does all these things paul actually you know was growing in his understanding of the fact that he had a messenger satan sent you know to buffet him in his flesh and it you know it says that right there isn't it interesting that it says that because of his revelations a messenger of satan was sent to buffet his flesh and yet people say that god made him sick but it clearly says that satan was sent a messenger to buffet him because of his multitude of revelations and so how could you take what is said there and say that it was that that god gave him a sickness when it clearly says that it was a messenger of satan and yet paul himself didn't understand everything he was persecuted all the time see he said there was a thorn given to me in my flesh and if you look after he says this he lists what the thorns were he's talking about he was in shipwrecks he was beaten and he goes through this whole list he's talking about the thorn in the flesh it's not wasn't sickness it was the fact that the devil everywhere he went the devil nailed him and they either set him up as a god like they did in one place in book of acts or they were trying to throw him off the hill stone him they left him for dead they thought they had stoned him to death he he's he's talking about his persecutions and his hardships because of the gospel he doesn't blame god for it and because of this because he was genuinely doing the right thing and being persecuted for it people attributed what was happening to him as as something was wrong with paul because god was doing it and what that is is the old testament way of thinking the jewish people the old testament way of thinking was that god was in everything he created good and evil but see he created hillel but he it says he was perfect until the day that iniquity was found in him and he fell so yes the jews would say well you know he created the devil but see he created hillel who became the devil so everything was created by god but in the inception of it but you know the world in its fallen state god didn't create the fallen world so you know animals that bite you yes he did create that animal but the way it's turned out is not god didn't create that that animal to do that to eat each other and to fight in the wars he you know he says it creates wars well yeah god shows up and there's a line drawn and then it causes good and evil to be apart and then they fight but god didn't create war he just created the line that divides where people fight so god created the world perfect but it fell so the fallen world isn't god's fault it's the same thing now with the gospel he created the good news but he was the good news and he was coming to retrieve man but he didn't he never planned he never wanted man to fall but they gave him free will so he presents the gospel now which is really just a it's a secondary act of grace to restore man back but it's not god's perfect will we're not in god's i mean you know i'm going to do this to offend people i do it on purpose to offend people but we're not in god's perfect will right now because if we were in god's perfect perfect will we'd be in the garden and we wouldn't we wouldn't need to be talking about the gospel as a way of salvation the message of jesus because we would have not not ever gone there so a lot of like like the reason we need healing is because of sickness but sickness wasn't god's plan so we're not when we're sick we're not in god's will but yet the whole thing's messed up so we we need help we need healing but it was never meant to be this way and if you saw it from the beginning and you would understand why paul is talking like this he's talking like this i just rather just forget all this drama down here and just go be with the lord but see when you're up there you can't change anything anymore on the earth there's nothing you can do you're just like in the cloud of witnesses yelling and and cheering people on but how many of the people hear that you know i'm starting to hear it in the services all the time like i hear the angels singing and then i know that there's going to be an anointing in that way i try to match what i'm hearing with what they're singing and and then then we come together and that's why sometimes the music if music's not right it's because something's happening on the other side it's not that it might not work somewhere tom ells but it's like it's not it's not synchronizing it's the same thing with the message how many times how many times this morning is some a message can be preached it had nothing to do with what god had for that congregation and yet you if you listen to what's being said from from the other side while you're there and you can change the direction of the service then then all of a sudden everything starts to work so so god has has a plan that is not his original it's not his his original plan it's to bring correction back to it and yet he's got to convince people because he can't make people do anything so this is the problem paul had as an apostle is he knew the original plan he he saw the revelation of what god had planned and how the gospel has to be preached in it because it produces faith that people respond to and if if they don't hear faith then they they can't they can't if they don't hear the word they don't have there's no way that faith can be produced if you don't hear the gospel message it doesn't produce faith and so he is chained up and he's being misrepresented and he's writing to the to the the churches saying listen you know here is my stance on all this it doesn't matter whether i'm in chains or not it doesn't matter what happens to us here's god's plan here's the revelation here's here's what we look like to god and i'm going to be free soon and i'm going to come back to you and i it's going to confirm that god's faithful and this was his status every time he pre he wrote a letter you couldn't even tell that he was in jail you know like i had to be i grew up and i didn't know that he was like writing these from jail you know and it's kind of it kind of helps us to understand so uh going forward for for the the time that we're coming into next when there's bursts like this morning but kathy and i both we were we were just up praying and we were kind of getting ready for our next meeting you know that we're flying to and everything and then all of a sudden you know at the same time i was sitting there and i i was going back and forth with uh working on another another book and then i was going studying some of the things i got to know for for flying and all of a sudden this burst this this burst of the other realm just hit me and i'm i'm kind of used to it so i just like i felt like i was riding a wave so i just sat there like this staring at my laptop while this guy's flying teaching me how to fly my jet and i'm watching the video and and i'm riding this wave in the spirit and all of a sudden i hear kathy all of a sudden she just bursts into this this utterance and i go what just without telling her i just i said what just happened she goes some some i just got a blast of glory right ending and i go i did too i said it just went right through the whole room both of us but i didn't say anything so i just asked her innocently tell me what just happened because it just went through me too and i saw the future being so bright and i saw that it's the cooperation of everyone receiving from the other realm and then operating in the flesh by that and not allowing the circumstances to dictate it because satan is really building walls to block people in all the time through circumstance and it's interesting that a group of people that i could name a religious group they they were being interviewed a spokesman for a group a religious group that they don't believe in tvs and they said well we haven't gotten the disease because we don't have tvs that's what he said in the interview he says none of us have gotten the disease because we don't have tvs and the reporter was like what yeah so they had no faith for it it got me to thinking you know how much of how much of why we believe what and we encounter what we encounter is only because we're programmed yeah so anyway paul was trying to tell them listen you all you all need to to respond to the good news and mature because i'm really having a dilemma here if i want to even stay the only reason i'm going to is for you and it kind of brings the reality of his of his perception versus maybe the people he's called to maybe helping them along to to maybe you know lip it up a little bit and maybe be a little bit more diligent so the spirit of the lord jesus showed me that in the garden the spirit lord is always willing because he said that spirit is willing the flesh is weak and what was happening was you think they were just falling asleep because they were tired but i saw it a different way when i was with jesus and he showed me this he told me that he was wanting them to stay with him and pray he actually needed help because if you remember even when he was tempted in the desert the angels came and ministered to him right after he was tempted it says the angels came to minister well why would jesus need ministry of angels it's because he was really legitimately drained from that that uh that spiritual atmosphere and i noticed that my dad before he got saved every time i would talk to him about the lord he would fall asleep as soon as i'd stop he'd wake up and everything was fine and i noticed that at work too people would start nodding when i would talk about the gospel but they're all energetic about talking about what the devil did last night and what they did you know with him and they were all excited you know energetic and but then all of a sudden you know i noticed that people started yawning and i saw that there was devils operating and making people sleepy so they wouldn't hear the message and i thought okay well then that's what's happening to the church right now we were lulled asleep not not me but i mean you know not you but we were all the sleep so by being just uh bombarded with solely stuff for years with you know with the light shows and the fog machines and um you know really good music but you know really good messages but where they they they were soulish in the sense of they just ministered to a part of you but not the part that can sustain a war which is your training you know and i i think about how hard it is like i've told this so many times you know what i just i went through this training that that was even beyond parachuting i mean i had to wear a parachute but i was like i was put into spins in a fighter jet at really high altitudes and then they were telling me okay if you go past this many spins and you haven't recovered you've got to bail out and the guy's telling me i am not waiting for you and he would tell me this before every flight and he's he's a born-again spirit-filled christian that i used to fly with the southwest and he's like i'm giving you one one chance to bail and i'm going out i'm going without you so you you blow the canopy and you pull the pin and then you deploy your chute you get up off out of your seat and you let the wind blow you back past the tail and you pull your chute he said i'm not waiting for you and i'd have to do this every time because you get into this and if you didn't get out of it past a certain time it was it was irretrievable and you you have that tendency to want to keep working and try to recover and they're saying no when i call bail you bail you don't stay with it and try to fix it and um so we went through this all this training and i was able to you know recover from all these different angles but then on the last day in order to get my certificate they didn't tell you this but i got in there and they they let me take off and then i had to pull this canopy over me so that i couldn't see anything but my gauges and then i had to do everything i just learned for two days i had to do it blindly with just gauges so he put me into a spin and i have to recover without being able to see outside and then i thought i thought this is what happened to the church just when you think you're qualified you find out you've been just eating junk food and then the junk food causes you to to be limited but you don't know it until you have to go beyond that and so the church was not ready for what happened when really this should have been the biggest healing revival we've ever had and i mean that from my heart is that even me i i should have seen more healings i mean i i've never heard of one person getting getting that disease in our meetings i've never we i've never got it i i don't know that as many people as we had together you you know there had to be the power of god keeping us because you know i'm in contact with so many people and people around me got it people that that hugged me and kissed me got it while they had it they hugged me and kissed me so when at what point does that spread out into a reality in other people's lives not not looking down on people but this is what i realized was our diet for the last couple of years was not enough to get us prepared so you know i it was everything with that with those flights every day everybody else was coming back they were sick i was not sick all the other pilots were right they were they were all coming back and throwing up and i'm like in the pi my instructor goes you haven't gotten sick you're the only one that's never gotten sick in this i train pilots like all kinds of fighter pilots and all kinds of airline pilots i go no this is this is what i was called to do you know i just left it because the lord told me to and um i passed all that and it was like everything in me to pass that and then that last day goes okay by the way and i go you got to be kidding me how am i going to do all this just from the gauges because well you're going to have to learn to do because if it happens during weather you can't see outside so then i realized this was the test this was the real test the test was how how much do i really know if i didn't have anything else around me that and i realized that you know we as christians we need each other but we have to be trained to do it on our own we have to be trained to do it as a leader which means we might be the only one doing it but everyone else is watching us and then they'll do it but they're going to be way behind the curve because they've waited three seconds and in this airplane it was three seconds was too late almost everything and this is what the spirit is saying is is don't don't think that you passed your test just because you're functioning can you handle encountering something that you've seen in a scary movie as a little kid it's already implanted in you to react a certain way well most of those creatures that have been in movies have confronted me in real life a lot of them have and i thought to myself when i saw the creature confront me and i mean they're right there i go how did that producer and those artists get it so accurate when they don't have an ounce of spirituality about them but then i realized well what if it's tied to witchcraft and they conjured up those spirits and then drew and created those those characters in the movie based on an actual encounter and then i thought well we've been we've been set up to fail because we've been scared into a corner and then we can't respond correctly and that's what paul is talking about here he goes listen there's a bunch of numb skulls preaching for the wrong reason and you know i'm in jail because i did preach not because i did anything wrong and he clearly said that satan was sent as a messenger to buffet him not god god you know he he pleaded with the lord to take it away right and that's where everybody gets messed up too but what if you look at what jesus told paul he goes no my grace is sufficient for you my grace is made you know my power is made evident in your weakness what if you look at what was being said there paul needed to mature to the place where he took authority over it he paul god told paul i'm not taking it away your your your weakness is going to reveal my strength and but if you look at the word there it's power it's in its authority too so paul needed to take authority he was asking the lord to take the devil away i have never asked god to take the devil away because he's already taken the devil away if he's staying it's because you haven't addressed it which we've you know we've encountered this weekend then you know john's only one of the few people that understand this that's why i have him because he totally gets it that the devil the devil needs to be told so paul at the end of his life he was under house arrest he didn't have crowds attacking him he had people he was allowed to be visited he lived in peace the rest of his life but at the beginning of his life he encountered all this persecution and the lord would not take that devil away because paul had to address it i know it's a big step for some people but when i was in heaven i saw this i saw that paul needed to mature in this to the place where god essentially said i've done everything i'm going to do about the devil my grace is sufficient in other words in paul's weakness of being persecuted he had to rise up and have god's power revealed and then it was stayed at the end of his life so this is what i'm expecting uh to see in everybody is that they they they develop this this where their weakness is revealed but then the power of god comes in your weakness that's why i say weakness is your friend it's because it reveals the power of god that's paul i'm just quoting paul so i'm going to pray father i just thank you so much for the impartation of the spirit and i asked lord that that we would rise up into the maturity and walking in the fullness of your power through the revelation of your love for us and that father that we would in our weakness see your power being revealed and that that power is also the word for authority as well as dunamis power with also authority a father that we would no longer be satisfied with just surviving every day but that we would become more aggressive in pushing back the enemy and enforcing the victory that has already been accomplished through the cross in the
