[Music] so [Music] it's only taken three years but deltoon has finally resurfaced onto the internet creating one of the most memorable gaming experiences of all time for thousands of people but despite the extremely passionate fanbase adultery has there are still so many unanswered questions that are yet to be answered these questions and even theories for the answers can appear on an iceberg image where the lower we get the more obscure the information is and as of today deltoon is officially three years old it was released on october 31st 2018 so not only is this a great anniversary present for the game it is a great halloween episode of the show oh spooky this ice bag was made by reddit user animal techno 13 who made the same aspect that was featured in my last video so massive shout outs to them anyway let's get on with the video [Music] man behind the tree in the eggs during a level transition in the first chapter of the game there is a chance you can be transported to him just a single tree interacting with the tree will give the message he is behind the tree interacting the area around the tree will say well there is a man here he offered you something then you say yes or no and if you say yes you'll be given an egg if you say no the man isn't there anymore and disappears if you interact with the tree one more time it'll say well there is not a man here and if you do one more time it will say that's just a tree inspecting the egg once you've got it will say not too important not too unimportant it's theorized that it's related to the man and the egg saying how the man is not too unimportant being of importance and how the egg is not too important being non-important the egg also reappears in chapter two where you can find it in the transition to the moss room and instead of the men might be happy to see you and he once again gives you the egg this man is theorized none other than wd ghost from undertale but that's just through other mentions of him which we'll get to later there is no solid proof confirming this the knight the knight is a character that we don't know too much about we've seen a lot of the night through text from the king and queen we know they have extreme power and the ability to create fountains like many other liners and they do create them with the first one being the unused classroom and the second one being in the computer lab rossi reveals that the night's true intentions that create so many dark fans that the darkness turned a stone in the lightness forever stuck in darkness it's implied that chris is the night due to the fact that they create a family under chapter 2 but i read a really good theory from renderings of vig that goes over a massive issue with this it's impossible for chris to create this fountain when normal but at least using chris go back to live world you can see that no one barely had their books out on the desk meaning that the fan was created a little bit after they got there which confirms that it could have been chris because chris came in after them so wild chris crater found it into the game then if they're not the knight because before that happens susie says how nice it would be if role seen lancer could be within the light world so chris makes sure she can't leave by slashing the ties of the car and creates a fountain the theory suggests that it's alvin who denies but i won't go too far into this theory as i strongly recommend you read the theory for yourself when you're done with this video the link will be in the sources in the description mysterious bunker in hometown there is bunker that's locked that's all we knew until chapter 2 at least where you can find snow drake and monster kid talking about how chris went in there and cowered it out and run away susie defends chris and chris doesn't speak about what they saw in there entry 17 in the dark world entry 17 refers to the true lamb entry that was delayed in undertale it's an entry relating to the hidden gaster wd gustar which is assumed we don't actually know but there are connections that i won't go into i'm sure if you know who wd gaster is you know the connections garcia not only makes appearances as an undertale but also has many references in delta and the dark world calling someone on your cell phone plays the audio for entry 17. [Music] saying that the phone played garbage noise the bunker of the game also plays this noise but slowed down and in many of the songs in delta and contained garcia's motif more specifically spamton will get onto him now spamton's connections to gaster so far the hidden buses of chapter one and two have had connections to wd gaster in short in the shopkeeper's dialogue they say that jevel met someone strange and began to change seeing the world as a game going insane where sean had to lock javel away a similar event happened with spanton and this can be discovered once he defeats them to neo his shop has people outside of it who say that he wanted to become a big shot becoming extremely desperate eventually he would become a big shot special thanks to someone on the phone the person on the other line eventually stopped talking to spencer all certain sales would slowly go inside become obsessed with something in the queen's basement he was evicted and some of the artisans went to go visit him in his last day but they couldn't find him or they could find us a phone and on the other line was garbage noise assumed to be the same garbage noise that we hear on the other chris's phone in the dark world which we said earlier is the audio for entry 17. duck mode duck motor threat to one of the acts you can perform in the queen boss fighting into the game the mac that you use in the boss fight is determined by what your thrashing machine is in chapter one and to use duck mode you need to create a full duck thrashing machine and then you'll be able to use it [Music] car honking songs in the opening of delta in chapter 2 before you enter the cyber world you can talk to undyne who's managing a traffic jam in the haunted towns you can make out many iconic motifs from undertale and i'll play them for you now [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] every man cameos every man has a camera that briefly appears in the true lab in undertale and has had many cameo appearances in deltoon every man can be seen in the back alley of hometown in jevel's carousel attack in a pop-ups attack every man is related to the true lab which also has connections to wd gaster with the entries [Music] each hero represents a route and undertale this is pretty self-explanatory susie is aggressive and represents the genocide route by our behavior browsing is kind and caring thus representing the pacifist route in his behavior but rossi also basically says chapter one that you should be doing this anyway so that come and chris is a completely neutral character representing the neutral route of the game role sees manual in chapter one of delton royalty gives chris and manuel after your training you can try raiding it but you can't due to it making your heads been because of how dense it was the manual also somewhat returns in chapter 2 in the fact that ralston includes a stand for christmas manual in your room in his castle if you do throw away the manual in chapter 1 it'll actually become a trash can in the room discovered in the files is actually a full version of rolsey's manual and even includes lost gameplay mechanics such as an interaction with the dog inaudible commands and even a talk about in the overlord menu instead of just walking up to me season talking to them a fun fact about this manual is that the final page for it can be found inside the fan gamer plush of roll scene just the hatted variant i can't confirm the non-hatted one dog check the dog check is a checker that checks your room number in your save and if it's in a certain limit to make sure the player can't enter any rooms that are unfinished contain spoilers for the next chapter or rooms that toby doesn't want to see like testing rooms the dog check was first implemented in undertale and was put in delta in chapter 1 with a sleeping dog and relaxing tone in chapter 2 there is another dog check with the dog that runs chris over in the sea [Music] sweet cap and cakes are a home style runner reference the music trier sweet cap and cakes well the name in one of the songs he based off of an animated show called homestar runner featuring strongmad in one of the episodes titled decemberween's sweet cup and kecks stronghold is asked to make a crazy cartoon so he makes one called sweet covering cakes and when his character gets angry it makes this noise [Music] deltary references this not only to name a sweet cappen cakes but also in the song when i get mad i dance like this [Music] des des is referring to noelle's sister december holiday she regularly hung out and was friends with azrael and chris and is heavily implied in the story that she's either gone or dead the evidence for this is that during the spelling bee when noel was asked to spell december no fraser's allowing badly a win another few pieces of evidence is susie mocking the angel doll that rudy has until he tells susan that death made her and she goes silent rudy also claims that without him in the house no one has ever protected noel from her mother's behavior press f1 for help during your first encounter with spamtom one of the lines he will say is press f1 for help if you do then press f1 on your keyboard it'll heal you this is in reference to many computer programs that upon pressing f1 will open a help menu youtuber faz faz also made a small video showing that it's r3 on the controller [Music] chris rips their soul out to be free of the player's control this is a theory that at the end of the game chris ripped their heart out to free themselves with control from the player this is further supported by the red eyes in knife put out by the end as the player doesn't control this choice which means that chris's true mutualist is caused by the player that's what i said in the video from earlier this year and i still have some extra things to add to this so i just felt it would be appropriate to play the normal one during kristen's who's his animation to dark world you can actually see chris's eyes for a frame and they're red i don't think chris is able because of the eyes continuing on from the theory from reddit user vague said that chris isn't even misunderstood with the evidence i brought up earlier chris just wanted to make susie happy and chris isn't evil just to teen who wants to make people happy it's not our choice but it's just a thought i had dog dollar is a dogecoin reference this is suggesting that the dog jello that can be obtained when being run over from the dog before the moss room is a reference to dogecoin a very famous cryptocurrency the item description is a dollar with a certain dog on it its value decreases every chapter which is a reference to how the price of dogecoin is heavily decreased in recent times giant toilet the giant toilet can be found in the city when you have susie and royalty and try entering the second annoying mouse room why is there a giant toilet blocking you well in the beta of delta in toby asked tammy to create a toilet sprite but she made it a bit too big resulting in this tweet by toby fox he eventually uses sprite as barricade to prevent you from going past a certain point susie's parents this comes from a theory which i found summarized very well by reddit user jello mortality susie wears very rough clothing which are described as disgusting by other people regulates chalk from the teacher constantly talks about eating sweets has no house on the map and when caught eating top chef's cake gets sprayed with water and hisses like a cat similarly to the cat that drinks alphys milk i also forgot to mention this that's why the microphone is different i'm actually editing while saying this but in chapter two when susie gets introduced to ross's room that he made for her she gets very excited and says like oh it's my own room uh and at the end of chapter two when toriel asks to call her parents she doesn't and avoids doing it but keep in mind this is just a theory again the background of jevel spy is a distorted image of a carousel in jevel's boss fight there is a distorted imager you can see in the background reddit uses super marko 640802 found the origin of this image and here it is gerson's hammer i actually get the icebergs creator to help on this one because i could not figure out this reference to so shout out to admiral techno 13. during the epilogue of chapter 2 you can talk to father alvin standing in front of gerson's grave you can talk to him and he'll tell you about himself about his father gerson and what he knows about chris and ezreal before you leave the area you hear him talk about how he could use gerson's hammer for something we don't know what it is why he's asking if it's right for him to use it or why it's using it but it's still very interesting thing about chris and susie's names i can't find anything to confirm this but anagrams play a part in all the names the liners ralcy is suggested to be an anagram for azure which could be chris potentially personifying azrael into ralsi due to them missing azrael so much susie could be an anagram for issue and chris could be an anagram for risk i don't know what this means it's just something to think about [Music] mike mike is a character that's briefly mentioned by spamtom and some of his shopkeeper dialogue when asking his phantom about his friends he says that chris is his friend and then i need mike stanton's text then becomes grammatically correct as his eyes become static and he looks down only saying mike's name he then says chris shouldn't believe anything they'll see on tv and the man is a criminal this somewhat foreshadows the ending of chapter two as we see it grin on the tv in chris's house spamton's speech only enters this quote-unquote real stage two other times in the game once when chris asks about the night where he says no i'm sorry i'm sorry i didn't mean to and the second time when chris asked about fear when he says can anybody hear me help followed by spencer saying that they didn't hear anything but it sounded like they were talking to you not chris you [Music] spammed him neo cheat in the spam to nero boss fight there was a glitch that if you charged up your shot and pressed enter it would shoot a spam shot and then still be recharged this was considered a glitch until september 23rd with update 1.06 where the chief was developed into a feature where if you use the attacks from spamton the boss fight will become a lot harder unused chapter one thrash machine boss in the recent delta in livestream that toby did with the three dots from fangamer he talks about a deleted part of the flash machine in chapter one take a look machine would originally be like a boss that was influenced by your choices but in the end that was too much effort so i just blew it up [Laughter] it's better that way yeah you're imitating life yeah it would have been pop team epic's april fool's k-round reference an anime comedy series called pop team epic had a few specials in 2019 and in one of these specials there are many video game references one of them being a reference to the k round boss fight in chapter one of delton he's a very similar recreated ui and also has a very very funny recreation of the fight like scarily accurate tiny car in castle town now i just want to say for closure as the time i'm recording this is a long time before the video is actually being uploaded because i want to spend a lot of time in this video i cannot confirm any the one i'm saying is true it is all speculation right now because my source that i had for this got deleted so it could be fake please correct me in the comments i will pin your comment once returning from the cyber award many recruits from the world will be involved his castle town if you avoid less than three cars when you're driving with the queen and recruit all the enemies a small car will appear near the door that you entered through in the first game deltoon was based off of a fever dream that toby fox had in 2019 with nintendo in his world sojima toby stated that in 2011 when i was living away from home i was in college i had a flashy illness i had a very vivid dream where i was sleeping with a high fever so couldn't get any medicine it was a dream of the ending of the game and since then i've been obsessed with the idea that i have to make that ending game [Music] giga queens hid in no damage third base if you avoid being hit in the first two phases of the geek queen boss fight then in the third round the queen will have high increased damage but the thrash machine will also have increased damage so it's fair you can also see the blue shadows on the outline of the attacks now so that's something to think about chris is terrified of spam to neo due to them being able to relate to them about freedom this suggests that chris is scared of spending a gym talking how they're free from their strengths as a puppet which is similar position that chris is in in delta in as we said earlier chris and the player separate can make their own decisions without the other's involvement like chris at the end of both games sans originated from hometown this theory suggests that sansa's original home was at snowden but was actually hometown there is some truth to this theory sans's original home was confirmed to not be snowed in an undertale sands says that he gave up trying to go back a while ago and even understands how frisk feels about missing home in undertale there are no set of connections that suggest sans is home is hometown but there's a good chance that it could be chris is being possessed from the same anomaly from undertale this is a theory that brings forth the idea that chris is actually possessed from something the main evidence for this being whenever chris rips the player sells out to do something quote unquote evil like showing the knife or creating a fountain the thing possessing chris could be whatever was smiling in the chapter two gaster maybe maybe chris went into the bunker and now ever since then possessed but we don't actually know for sure missing pixel in king and queen's arena in both chapters of delta in the final boss fight have a misplaced pixel in them this happened in chapter one as a mistake but referring i've seen it seems that toby put the misplaced pixel on chapter 2 there on purpose purely to mess with fans who annoyed him about the pixel within the first chapter [Music] browser is hiding something from us this is a theory that suggests that rolsi is hiding something from us one of the many examples of that people have been pointing to is that rousey tries to hide something after the span to neophyte where rossi immediately tells chris to forget about what they saw personally i believe this is just rails have an extreme amount of concern for the player but this is definitely something very interesting to note unused spam from dialogue the aspect has a section dedicated to the unused spamming dialogue which i did find in a reddit post but it's actually not hidden can be found from the game and they even spoke about it earlier so i want to talk about other unused dialogues we found in the files of the game where where am i hello anyone is anyone out there someone anyone can anyone hear me it's dark it's so dark here someone anyone if you can hear me say something please no one can hear me can they i guess not to be honest i'm not even sure if i can hear myself it's so quiet here yet sometimes i swear i hear something something like scratching i think something interesting about this dialogue is how it's tagged within the files having the word unused in the name it's almost like toby fox wanted people to find these and analyze them personally i believe this could be our character that we created in the first part of the game but i'm honestly not sure if you have any idea of what this could be feel free to comment or not number of the beast the number of the b store saints number is 666 the reason that this is relevant to deltarune is if you view the properties of the survey program build of the game and see what version it is it's point six point six point six also data miners found that in undertale wd gaster's battle information all had six six six six six in it with its subtracting six six six six six experience and gold upon defeat so just to reiterate viewing the properties of the steam build of the game won't announce to the number but an actual release update number just the survey program version unused bleeding sprites in the track zone cutscene where rylsie heals susie there are some unused files that give suzy blood on her hand this was probably removed due to conflicting statements about blood in the games while susie says that everyone bleeds a monster in the apartment buildings asked if it has been made out of blood to chris and it's honestly quite unclear if one's complete or not but this suggests that they can't spam tim is a ghost possessing one of the artisan mannequins this entry refers to a weird observation with one of the mannequins of the artisans try to sell you in the game if you equip the mannequin in the fight against spammed mirror it will decrease his attack power by 35 that wasn't as strong as a connection as you'd like you can even try fitting the cajon which you normally fit in the basement to activate spam to neo you can try feeding that into the mannequin the game says that it squirms but doesn't fit his series suggests that spammed mrs spirit recessing a mannequin not just because of those two points but because of connection found between the man dummy from undertale there's a similar line between the two stampeding will say friends what are you talking about i've got telephone hands and the dummy will say i don't need friends i've got knives you can also hear the mad dummy motif from the song that plays when you fire span to near it's a very interesting theory with many connections [Music] sansa's voice in the computer field puzzle in the worded puzzles in the cyber field when going on to the a there is a small chance instead of hearing the computer say ay you will instead hear sansa's voice [Music] this is probably in reference to sansa's creation how his voices sound clear from patrick from spongebob saying a mid-sentence maybe it's the way you're dressed [Music] grinning plugs in mansion's basement there's a very very creepy easter egg that can take place in the basement the queen's mansion when you're in the room with the plugs with the teeth that attack you instead of moving on wait near the plug without engaging in battle the eyes will start to move up and stare at you the plug will start to smile it goes back to normal once you engage with it again but it's still pretty creepy dark world cliff and titan's connection the titans carry this symbol with them that's an eye the same marking can be found within the first era of the dark world in chapter one we're not entirely sure about what this means as we don't really know much about the tie and spin what ralsi explains but it's an extremely interesting connection that should be taken into consideration when talking about the times in future tale of two cities and gaster connection this is another question they had to have admiral help me on because my brain is incredibly small a tale of two cities is a book by charles dickens and this is the book that burley starts right at the start of the game obviously it was just that it was the best times it was the worst times part not the so-so time spot was off topic people have been speculating this has hidden ties to gaster as the story of the book is at a doctor who was released from captivity during a war mixed up with their family members who thought they were dead it sounds like what could potentially happen to gaster even the part of eren thinking gaster is dead as in undertale it's implied that ghast disappeared without a trace nobel kills and traps the artisan inside the snow ring in the snow grave route the freeze ring is an item exclusive to the snow grave slash read route of chapter 2 and getting it is a strange process when buying it off in addison the price of the ring will always be one coin more than what you have if you continue noel to get it it seems that chris is saying more than we're telling them to as you know also has become incredibly anxious and uneasy as you continue to get it now finally accepts and the screen fades to black as we hear an icy sound and we get the ring when the screen fades back the addison is nowhere to be seen and noelle's in denial of what she just did but accepts it as a part of getting stronger it's implied that noel murdered the artisan and trapped into the freeze ring [Music] 1997 big shot commercial in 1997 an american soft drink company big shot launched and had their featured footballer mike taketa what does this have to do with daltroon well spanton is a character that common talks about becoming a big shop being the best salesman in 1997 even a character named mike it's more masculine even somewhat resembles spam time so this is just probably just something that toby got inspiration from i'm not saying that this has any meaning i just think it's a pretty cool connection to make that's it it's time for a big shot oh yeah y'all we do need a big shot we need a big shot on our side we need a big shot we need a big shot you need a big shot i got your big sabre center big shot of the week chris and azrael made a model of the god of hyper death for rudy one piece of dialogue with rudy in the hospital hasn't mentioned that chris and azrael made a figurine of an angel for him but because the wings were so big it constantly fell over there's no denying that there is a connection between the angel that christian astral made and astro's ultimate angel form from undertale's true pacifist finale with the main evidence being the massive wings since the release of chapter 2 there has been even more evidence to suggest this with inspecting azrael's computer outside of the game you can learn that he'd been working on a game with a character with massive rainbow wings similar to how his final form is in undertale [Music] tobyfox.net music toby fox much like many other people had a website some people found on the side directory there was a folder called musics which is a misspelling of music it had many songs on it you can't find the website now as it's been deleted probably due to privacy reasons toby said an email that he's fine with the songs being shared as he just wanted to show them to his friends and i'll only be showing one of these songs which has already been publicized and the reason for this is because it contains the motif for the world revolving and the chase [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] so just to reiterate all that's on the website is short songs and all the clips that hope you want to send to his friends there is no secrets there's nothing about deltarune it's just a smaller website that he had please don't go emailing him or tweeting at him to release it all rilsy equals river person this theory suggests that ralph sees the driver person from undertale there's actually a bit of evidence for this that i found but the most obvious being how ralph sees hooded sprite from the start of chapter one is similar to how the river person looks in undertale and some of the dialogue said by the river person mentions the legend of the delta room such as tralala the angel is coming another piece of dialogue with references the man who came from the other world gonomaker the intro sequence of delta and has you creating your own vessel and this is referred to as the gonna make about the game's files which implies they're creating a goner not only are your choices pointless but the character you create is a goner and you can't stop that it also ties into the dialogue that came up earlier that i was talking about the unused dialogue i think that when you when your character got discarded it got sent to this area that they don't know where they are [Music] the 2015 delton website in 2015 the delton website was launched you heard me correctly in 2015 a whole three years before the game was set to release its first chapter but what was on the website well it looked blank until you found a photo in the source code named him.png and increased the contrast you get text in winding's font that says this next experiment seems very very interesting which could relate to the long gone entry 17 and even references to lineup it also has a similar speech pattern to the way the voice of the side of the game is and how the voice announces the next chapter on twitter speaks in december of 2016 the website was updated to feature a different picture same title with windings font that said three heroes appeared to banish the angels heaven this is a line almost straight out of the prophecy from the final game and this website came out two years before delton was even set to release the two sinks in the hospital represent gaster's mind being split into sans papyrus there is a longtime fan theory in undertale that when gaster got split into the wherever he is now he got split into sans papyrus in the hospital in chapter one there is a sink that's there are things in the hospital that say it's a regular sink it's a clone of the other sink perhaps there was originally one tall sink that was cut half to create both of them this theory suggests that these lines are implying that this was sans and papyrus and the tall sink was gaster unique snow grave death animation during the snow grave slash weed run of the game noel will usually use snow grave von burley but if you spare boatly you can cast no grave on another enemy instead of being frozen and staying in ice the enemy will disintegrate and turn to dust similar to how more undertale monster's work badly dies in his sleep at the end of snowgrove route and has his corpse hidden in the closet during the snow grave slash weed route noel does a lot of damage to birdly and freezes him in ice potentially killing him and the move actually says that this is lethal making him not appear for the rest of the run and then the run when chris and susie return the light world badly is unconscious inspecting this supply cluster to the left of him says a large person could fit inside this theory suggests that birdly isn't unconscious but dead and the text is suggesting that birdly's body could fit into it i just want to say this text about the spike of it appears on either run which could suggest that the thing is currently unknown i've seen theories as just the knight came into the closet head but it's still very interesting to think about and we don't know how birdly is going to be in the next chapter hi it's editing pierce again i'm almost on the video um basically i want to thank my friend toby for bringing this to my attention but there is very small detail in the snow grave route where if you interact with these beads in the hospital it will say one of the blue beads is broken and torn off which is suggesting that thirdly is yeah dead so that's been more evidence into it i don't know how it's gonna tie into the game because toby fox has stated on the faq on his website that uh the game really has one ending so i don't know how these gonna be tied together but that is just it's very interesting so that's another delta in iceberg i had a lot of fun researching this one and exploring the law even further i love delta and so much it's definitely my favorite games ever released and i it just keeps getting better and better i cannot wait for the next chapters coming out it's it's just such a great game for me i think it's because i was very uh nostalgic from undertale and this just feels like a better undertale almost i can't wait for chapters three to five to come out in 2026. uh i'm kelsey happy halloween and good night [Music] you
