The Deep Things of God by Victor Jackson

[Music] I believe that there are some keys to getting prayers answered in the spirit I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt if you are tired of prayers being unanswered you need to pay attention so what I'm preaching to you tonight because I'm gonna give you something that gives you a key on how to get prayers answered from God there was a very powerful prophet that lived back in the 50s and 60s died way too young his name was verbal beam he was a very powerful man of God he was a man of Prayer he he was a powerful man of Prayer he said there were two types of prayers that God answers he said there are two types of praying that will get God's attention he said the first type of prayer that God answers is a memorial prayer it's something that you pray about over and over and over and then God answers it he said like Cornelius when he prayed so many times that the age of the Lord said your prayer and your giving has come up as a memorial before God he said it was like this he said if a man wanted to buy a suit but could not afford the suit he would go into the suit store with the money he had and put the suit on layaway with the funds that he had next time he got paid he would put some more funds down on the suit he would not leave with the suit he would leave without the suit each time he went in to make a payment but the more payments he made on the suits when he could make them there would be come a day when he would finally pay off the suit and when the last payment was made he could take what he had been paying for home with him he said that's how it is in your prayer life you can be praying about something over and over and over and not take the answer home if you keep praying and you keep believing there's gonna come a day when you'd bring the answer home with you because you've paid it in full hallelujah [Applause] hallelujah thank you lord thank you Jesus [Music] works in the her cracks I am clean oh yes the house head our ship Mike you have oh Christ hi couldn't hold you boys crazy the boys we sir species thank the Lord brother Jackson come and bring the words [Music] praise God why don't you open up your Bibles to the book of first Corinthians chapter 2 first Corinthians chapter 2 first six what a great atmosphere you guys have cultivated such a wonderful hunter and I feel it's right in line with what God has dumped into my spirit to share with you tonight 1st Corinthians chapter 2 and verse 6 [Music] says howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect yet not the wisdom of this world nor of the princes of this world that come to nothing but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory which none of the princes of this world knew for had they known it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory but as it is written eye hath not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him but God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit for the spirit searcheth all things yea the deep things of God for what man knoweth the things of a man save the spirit of Man which is in him even so the things of God knoweth no man but the Spirit of God we have received not the spirit of the world but the spirit which is of God that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God which things also we speak not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth but which the Holy Ghost teacheth comparing spiritual things with spiritual a scripture verse 14 but the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto Him neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned I feel led of the Holy Ghost to teach to you tonight on this subject that deep things of God the deep things of God why don't you lay your Bibles now clap your hands to the Lord amen he's revelation and understanding in this place you may be seated in the presence of the Lord what a crowd here tonight such great hunger that is here and I commend you for that hunger I believe that's why the Lord dumped this into my spirit it's very interesting to note that there are places in God that no one has ever been here we go there are places in God that no one on earth has ever gone before there are places in God that Abraham had never experienced father of the faithful there are places in God that he had never tapped into Exodus sig's God tells Moses Moses Abraham Isaac and Jacob they only knew me by the name God Almighty but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them Abraham never seen me Moses like you're about to see me there are places in God that the patriarchs of this great faith that they have never gone before David who slew that great giant Goliath it wrote these wonderful majestic Psalms in the scripture inspired by the Holy Ghost there are places in God that David has never gone that great Apostle Paul who literally no doubt saw thousands received the Holy Ghost many miracles many church plant churches planet well he never seen the end of God David said great is the Lord and greatly to be praised and then he says and his greatness is unsearchable which means that God's greatness can never be fully examined or what a rough start I'm in trouble already hallelujah there are places in God that no one has fully examined he said that in Christ there are unsearchable riches things you've never seen before that lets me know that there are places in God that are untapped then he has reserved for this hour if you would hunger and thirst for it and some people look at me like well brother Jackson don't you know this scripture says there's nothing new Under the Sun there's nothing new Under the Sun brother Jackson don't you know that scripture in Ecclesiastes I remind you that that was written before the virgin birth there's nothing new Under the Sun yet the virgin birth occurred which had never happened before and it can never happen again there's nothing new Under the Sun until the spirit gets involved and that's what see as Lewis said didn't he he said a miracle is an interruption of nature what is natural the spirit can interact to produce new events that's why you can't say well I've been this for this long and I've seen everything no you haven't virgin birth can never happen again it never happened before really when you look at the context really in Ecclesiastes there's nothing new Under the Sun really it's speaking of undying principles when you look at it and the undying principle of the virgin birth was the love of God but the love of God produced something new are you hearing me right now and so there are things that God has reserved in this hour that he wants to release entire generation if we would hunger and thirst for it like never before the virgin birth never happened before and you got to think about this with Mary who do you relate to well you have such a prophetic word in your womb that has never been birthed before and can never be birthed again who do you relate to you can't relate to the Jewish customs of the past you can't relate to anyone in the future the angel said the only way it's going to happen he said the Polie cows shall come upon you and the power of the highest shall overshadow you the only way it's going to happen you're not going to be able to find a blueprint step 1 step 2 step 3 how to fulfill your destiny the only way is going to happen it's for you to get so deep in the spirit let the spirit whispers in your ears every step and every hour everything you need to do amen and so that's what Mary said how can these things be seen I know not a man and the first thing that'll happen when God puts something in your womb that nobody else understands everyone else will question whether it's legitimate [Music] how did they get that there must be some sin somewhere in their life to operate and that type of unknown everybody begins to question whether it's illegitimate but you can't figure it out in the flesh the only way you're gonna be able to figure it out is to get in the spirit and let the swiss pers up the messiah speak to you here amen can i can i give you a revelation there are some places in god I'm not the catch I'm about to help you now this is going to help you but there are some places of God where you can't even write it down because you will Mary said being on Tamiya code that where you will receiving your spirit what your mind can't comprehend you like to figure it out first you won't be able to figure it out you have to receive it here first and over time what's in your spirit will work on your heart and will work on your mind then you'll have the cognizance to write it down but there's some things that are just poured out that you can't just write it all down in a moment or you'll miss it I believe in note-taking y'all some hungry folks on here somebody showed me their notes son now you wrote a whole book for my sermon and so there's a time for that you need to do but there are some times that if that it the Spirit is moving in such a way if you're trying to write what God is speaking you missed the moment you just gotta put the notebook down and open up your spirit and say God I receive it I was preaching somewhere Holy Ghost was I'm speaking makes it level principles right here the Holy Ghost was moving while I was preaching and you know you're not supposed to like really run or respond until the altar call right Holy Ghost was moving and people were wrestling in themselves because they wanted to keep writing stuff now and so really they were stifling the move God was wanting to break up in the message wasn't a break up break up break up the fallow ground while I was preaching huh but they could not really get out of their pew and run or come to the altar because they fell I got a right what's his next point what's his next point what's this next point and so finally I said well hey everybody if you have a pencil in here raise it up in the hand they were I say raise it up in that sky they raise it up in the sky I said okay now I want you to put it up real high on this guy they put it up real high and and I said now and put it next to you and say I'll see you after service huh because the Holy Ghost is trying to break open right now and there comes a time where you gotta put it down and respond to what God is doing what if I told you deliverance wasn't waiting for you after the message he was waiting on you during the message but you put God in a time box and said God you can't move in me until he's done don't put God in a box let him do what he wants when he wants to do it and so getting in the spirit the Lord asked me a question about Mary he said Victor what did Mary do to earn the virgin birth what was her prayer time how many days a week is she fast what was her purse schedule what did Mary do to earn the virgin birth God said you can't earn destiny you can't train fast to get destiny God said I give destiny first and as a result of destiny you praying fast I couldn't pray my fast my way to where I am today it's just my destiny but as a result of my destiny it persuades me to play in fast to protect destiny are you hearing me right now okay I'm about to help you now this is gonna mess with our we live in the greatest country in the world but here's one of our downfalls because this is gonna this is gonna really miss y'all because there are things in God that you can't earn he said I gave you the spirit that you might know the things that are really given you can't pray fast your way to get it you can't you see this is tough for us to understand because we feel like we have to work for everything where it's tough for us to understand Greece even when we talk about Calvary talk about in the context of what now we have to do Jesus died for a son I got a live for him I can't you just accept the fact that he died he was buried he rose again he ascended into heaven he gave us the gospel the death burial resurrection repentance of your sins getting baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost evidences speak in other tongues living a holy life enduring to the end you just accept that he did and did you know that when you respond to that that is God's grace allowing you to respond to that no man can come unto the God except the spirit draw him so when you come into the house of God you didn't come on your own volition the spirit your you and you just responded to the spirit therefore it's the same thing with prayer no one in the world will ever be able to brag about how long they pray no one in the world will ever be able to brag how long they fast no one in the world will ever be able to brag about how much they read the Bible you know why because it's grace that allowed them to do that Paul said Paul said look I was one born out of due time but I laboured more abundantly than them all look what he says according to the grace of God that works in me how do you labor in grace he said I laboured more abundantly than them all according to the grace they were how do you work and grace Roman says in Grace work is not work in other words when you went when you come to church and Peter says that we are commanded to grow in grace how do you grow an unmerited favor there's some question marks out there right now aren't there I'm gonna give you a revelation when you come to church for the first time you get born again oh the water another spirit all of us said it when you come God puts a space of grace over you a grace to pray 15 minutes a day so you leave the altar you go home God has given you grace to pray 15 minutes a day if you respond to that grace and start praying 15 minutes think God looks at is the oh you're doing good we've been doing that consistently for a month you know what I'm gonna give you grace to pray half an hour now you start responding to half an hour all of a sudden God says whew you're doing good you know I'm gonna give you grace to pray an hour a day grace grows the more you respond to it that's just confirmation that's what that is grace grows the more you respond to it Jesus you ain't been in my preaching right now ha ha grace grows the more you respond to it so what happens if I never respond to the 15 minutes of Prayer then I could be in church for 30 years but I still got 15 minutes of Prayer hanging over me that I never responded to no one can come into church I'll get saved then all of a sudden immediately start praying 6 hours a day because you skip the process you didn't give yourself the chance to grow in grace you're not hearing me right now no one could skip levels you got to grow and let grace be nurtured somebody say a man I remember whenever I first came into the church and I came and I was just so on fire and so's ileus and filled with zeal and I went to Lourdes I said Lord I'm ready to go on a 40 day fast and the Lord said that's cute I'm gonna give you grace to skip a meal so I started skipping a meal for a while I'll go back to God and said God I'm ready to go on a 21-day fast the Lord said oh I'll give you grace to fast the day I start faster than a day every now and again I know about God I'm ready to go on a seven-day Fassler said son you're learning I'll give you grace to go on a three-day fast and look I finally come back to gonna say God how long do you want me to fast the person who asked the wrong questions in prayer is better off than the person that doesn't ask at all the person that asks a miss is better off than the person that doesn't ask it on if my son comes up to me at 2 euros it says that I want a Porsche I'm gonna look at him son that's cute I must start you off on a little toy bike I don't beat him up for asking me a ridiculous question I'm just happy that he's communicating with his father and as long as he is in communication with the father the father's influence will start influencing his speech don't beat yourself up because you don't have a great prayer vocabulary are you hearing me right now he said I understand the prayers of a little child so you just come to him with your crazy questions and insane asking for all these ridiculous blessings over time with that communication the father will be able to direct your voice into his will so all you may say right now and your pray this is why some of y'all don't pray because you feel like you keep repeating the same thing well God said well that's a good start your prayer right now it might just be Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus but over time with that communication all of a sudden changes it to Jesus I love you Jesus I love you Jesus I love you over time that father's influence Jesus I love you and I need you I love you Hannah I need you you see what happens as you communicate hate his will begins to encroach on your will and it directs you where he wants grace grows the more you respond to it and so we struggle because we live we're such a hard-working country we with the Puritan ethic with with all the really this goes back to the Grecian culture this goes back to the Roman culture and we're we're byproducts of that and we feel like yeah you know every every athlete they say man how'd you how'd you win that game when they shot they say oh I put a lot of work into my craft well well who do you credit when God just gives it to you which is what he does did you know what happened in the Azusa Street revival I'm helping you right now you know what happened in Azusa Street revival whenever they received the Holy Ghost all of a sudden immediately this is documented immediately they knew how to play the piano documented cases they spoke in tongues and God gifted them the ability to play the piano immediately they received the Holy Ghost all of a sudden one of them began to speak fluently in six different foreign languages one of the tongues they spoken was Japanese when they found out he was speaking Japanese they took up an offering of fifteen hundred dollars huh and immediately sent that man to Japan to become a missionary huh and he planted churches in Japan come on somebody because of receiving the spirit in a moment you see it's easier for you to believe in blinded eyes opening and it's easier for you to believe in deaf ears come on stop than to believe that God can give you something without human effort but you'll never be able to operate in the depth if you don't get a revelation of that now are you saying not to prepare no I'm not saying that you heard my message Sunday morning no you prepare you do everything you need to do but you got to understand that the source of it getting accomplished is it on my shoulders huh I gotta look up every now and again huh and expect God to pour something on me right now but too many of us here are so intent on head down work work work where we're not looking up seeing all the things that God is trying to freely pour it to us document and I was in South Dakota had to preach through Swahili an interpreter and and he told me that it took him years to get the language of English down but then he told me but he said I had a friend that also came over from his wahi leha he didn't know a lick of in English but he moved to Arizona and when he went when he went to Arizona huh they said when he went that first week he had such a problem such a frustration such anxiety and stress huh because of not understanding the language that he finally asked God God give me the language of English ain't God [Applause] what their self confused looks out there here tonight immediately what's the last time you asked God to give you something immediately yes I'm gonna keep working toward Laura but can't you give it to me now you don't even think like that you say well then 10 years I'll get it because well what if I wanted to give it to you today your faith is getting stretched I'm stretching your faith right now I remember when I was doing a several years ago I was reading a bunch of commentaries in the Lord spoke to me say Victor which one of those commentaries taught you how to preach I said well none of them Lord he goes he goes well how did you learn to preach I said well prayer prayer you you you gifted it to me you taught me how to preach he goes will stay with the source and as like Charles Burgess said visit many books but live in the Bible he said while you're doing all that don't forget this source and for two years I didn't read another book but the Bible and I got more revelation and understanding about God reading his word than reading what others had to say about his word [Applause] and I was in I had to my family's very educational inclined so I've always had a natural inclination towards education and very gifted in it all we always been gifted never really had to do much study because I'm just naturally gifted that's just my you started talking about education like that's my that's my realm I mean that's my I operate very fluently into that and so I got my bachelor's and religion and health science and just just to get it just to get it and no reason I mean just just to have it just say I have it anyways I decided because I was just traveling and going going going I was like you know what let me do online through University a fully accredited university do online and go ahead and start working towards my masters and my master's so I started working toward a master's in theological studies biblical studies and so I'm doing this class this class was honestly so easy you know these postgraduate the graduate and postgraduate studies honestly is more simple than you think I promise you if you got a revelation of Jesus name baptism and Holy Ghost in filling a NASA t-38 message you know more than those professors know I promise you they got all the Greek and Hebrew down but they can't get a revelation of one God because you can't get that revelation and education is only about the spirit and so honestly it's a bunch of simple stuff anyways I was just breezing through it had over a 3.0 GPA while I'm traveling while I'm doing all this and I had six classes left I was doing an intense study on the Koine Greek of the New Testament and as I'm studying this Koine Greek of the New Testament I was in Ketchikan Alaska where they have 10 to 15 people in their church can type a prayer is a current prayer he said a current prayer is the second type of prayer that God answers it's a situation that you do not have you don't have a long time for God to do this you need God to do it now does that make sense yeah you can have a lost loved one you can that's a memorial thing you just pray until God does something but you could have a situation where you need God to intervene now and when you have that type of prayer at Memorial prayers know what you need you can't just go bring the name up or bring the situation up in passing and say god I'm making another payment on this I need you to come through when the situation is desperate it requires desperation in your prayers a current prayer you can't come with a situation with a grant that's tragic and real and severe and come to God and give God a you know Lord what we're going through right now and I need you to come through because the deadline is this week and we have to answer we need some peace we need a miracle and walk out that's there's no desperation there you're giving God the right facts but you're not giving God the heart behind the facts you're showing God I'm really not serious about this because a current prayer requires desperation it requires you to be I need an answer now I don't have 60 years to pray about this we need a miracle in our house that is desperation that's a current prayer and a current prayer God will hear and I want to show you something that that the Lord answers prayers while you're praying them I know that we've got God in this box that if I pray today he can come through by Thursday or he can come through by tomorrow he come through by next month but actually God the Bible said I can hear you before you and say what you're gonna say in fact I need please I Oh what you're saying before you even ask [Music] [Music]
