just as god uses human beings to accomplish his holy purposes and he has throughout the history of the church and through the old testament so does the devil use people instruments in in his own purpose as well for his unholy purpose revelation 13 is a good example of satan using two individuals we're going to be introduced to two very important personages who will be on the earth during the time of the tribulation and play an important role in god's purpose and plan now just a reminder that revelations chapters 10 to 15 are parenthetical so all those chapters cover a pause where we go back in the sequential order and we look at depth about details about people and persons and places and things so we're getting information and we're not really seeing the judgments of god being poured out on the world but in chapter 12 we were first introduced to three important persons we had the woman which was israel we had the red dragon which was satan and we had the man child which was christ well today we have two and more important people symbolized in the beast out of the sea verse 1 which is the antichrist and secondly the beast out of the earth verse 11 which is the false prophet so the beast out of the sea the antichrist the beast out of the earth the false prophet we're going to just look at verses 1 to 10 this morning and look at the antichrist now the antichrist is a vast biblical subject and i don't usually apologize before i preach but this is a semi apology i can't say everything that you can say about the antichrist in one sermon if i did it would be a three-hour sermon at least to go back to the old testament and trace all the references to this man of sin but i want to point out that it is a very dominant and common biblical theme let me give you some of the references to the antichrist in chapter 9 of the book of daniel chapter 7 of the book of daniel chapter 8 in the book of daniel first or second thessalonians chapter 2 matthew chapter 24 in christ's olivet discourse and revelation chapter 13. now those are just some of the many references in the bible to the antichrist revelation chapter 13 is the classic if you were to pick one chapter of all the bible all the references on the subject of the antichrist you would actually pick revelation 13. now i want to try to keep it as simple as i can i want to give six characteristics of the coming antichrist six things that will characterize this man of sin called the antichrist if you're taking notes you can write them down number one his wickedness he will be a wicked wild beast notice it in verse 1. john says and i stood now the fact that it starts with an and indicates that there's no break between the end of chapter 12 and the beginning of chapter 13. so the end of chapter 12 you have the devil the dragon on the sand of the seashore and he's angry king james says he is wrath so standing on the side of the seashore is the devil and then out of the sea comes this man of sin the antichrist called the beast so john says i stood upon the sand of the sea some translations actually have he stood and it would be the reference to the dragon or satan at the end of chapter 12. and then john says and i saw a beast rise up out of the sea stop right there now john says i saw this beast and he came out of the sea the question is who or what is the beast i believe the answer to that question is he's the anti-christ now i want to make mention of this title the antichrist this is the most common this is the most frequently used but it's interesting that it's actually not used most commonly in the bible about the antichrist it's only appears four times and it appears four times in the first and second epistle of john and in the context of john's epistle it's not talking about this individual called the antichrist so it's a concept taken from john that's transferred over to this man of sin called the antichrist now the term antichrist means that he will oppose christ and that he is one who takes the place of christ now when it's used in first john and then we'll move down the road here real quickly it's talking about anyone who doesn't believe the doctrines of christ taught in the scriptures so false teachers false prophets those who deny the deity of christ those who deny the humanity of christ those who deny his substitutionary atonement his bodily resurrection they are anti-christ so a lot of cults and false religions actually are anti-christ so it's the spirit of antichrist is the false doctrine when it comes to jesus christ there is nothing more important than for you to be correct about who jesus is and what he came to do so your so-called christology your doctrine of christ your theology of the person and work of christ needs to be biblical or you are of the spirit of antichrist but the title is used for this man called the beast let me give you some of the other titles these are just a few of many he's called the little horn in daniel 7. he's called the king of fierce countenance in daniel chapter 8. he's called the prince that shall come in daniel chapter 9. he's called the willful king in daniel 11. he's called the man of sin or lawlessness which i think is the best title or the son of perdition in 2 thessalonians chapter 2 and verse 3. so this man of sin this lawless one and isn't it interesting all the lawlessness and the rebellion against the established government that we see going on in the world today and the wickedness in the world today i believe as you study revelation 13 that you see the stage is set for this man of lawlessness this wicked antichrist this beast to come on the stage of history so in revelation 13 verse 1 he's called the beast but why is he called the beast well the word beast there is a symbol and it speaks of a wild venomous beast the greek word actually translated beast there means a wild venomous beast so you're not petting your horse you're not petting your cow you're not petting your llama you're not petting your dog you're petting a venomous wild ferocious horrible beast now this is god's view in revelation 13 god gives us his view and perspective on this human being this individual who is called a beast now i want to make it clear as i've already alluded to and in my introduction that this is a person he's not talking about the spirit of antichrist he's talking about an individual one individual one human being that will have invested in him all the power all the authority of satan himself some believe that he will be demon-possessed which is i think is a good guess and even maybe satan himself will enter into this man and use him to destroy god's people and bring such havoc and war and desolation to the earth so he's a person he's not just an idea and we want to know where he's come from now let me kind of give you a little warning a lot of people really interested in the antichrist i read years ago a great bible teacher by the name of arnold c gabling he said when i would announce i'm preaching on the antichrist the church was full but he said when i announced that i'm preaching on jesus christ he said half the church was full and people are interested in who is the antichrist i believe in all my study of this subject that it isn't to be an issue with us or a concern i believe and i'll get into it more in a minute that the church will be gone that we will be raptured that we will be caught up and in heaven before the antichrist is even able to be revealed i believe that which is holding him back is the presence of the church the bride of christ the salt of the earth the light of the world and that god has not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation so i i believe in a pre-tribulation rapture that after the rapture takes place the antichrist is revealed and the one he's revealed to make a covenant with israel for seven years that is the last seven years known as the tribulation the last three and a half of which is the great tribulation so sequentially the rapture takes place the antichrist comes on the stage of the world he takes power of 10 european nations probably seated in rome a revived roman empire and that he actually then at the halfway point of the tribulation he erects an image of himself in the rebuilt temple we read about earlier and he commands everyone to worship him declares himself as god and that you can't buy or sell we get at the latter part of chapter 13 without the mark of this beast which is the number of a man 6-6-6 which has always been the number of man we'll talk about that next sunday but what i'm trying to say is don't be too interested in the antichrist everyone wants to know who he is we don't know everyone wants to know where he's going to come from we're not absolutely sure there's a lot in this chapter that we can't be dogmatic about that he will come is certain that he will be a person is certain that he will be wicked and evil is certain and in my book that we the church will be caught up to heaven before he comes will be certain every attempt to try to identify the antichrist has failed i remember when ronald reagan got shot and he survived his shooting everyone said he's the antichrist henry kissinger is the antichrist every pope has been the antichrist and the list goes on and on adolf hitler is the antichrist all wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong we don't know but he'll be revealed but not so the church is taken out but he is a person and he will come where does he come from verse 1 of chapter 13 out of the sea in chapter 17 verse 15 the sea is described as a symbol of gentile nations that they are people tribes and nations so this is a term sometimes used for the mediterranean sea so some feel he may come out of an area there around the mediterranean but is a term used for the sea of gentile nations the wicked are like the raging sea there's no peace at the lord to the wicked but he comes after the rapture from i believe a revived roman empire of 10 nations confederated and that's clear from daniel chapter 2. so first we see his wickedness he's called a beast but secondly we see his world dominance at the end of verse 3 and verse 2 read it with me he said he had he came out of the sea having seven heads ten horns upon his horns ten crowns upon his heads the names of blasphemy and the beast which thou saws was like a leopard and his feet were the feet of a bear his mouth was the mouth of a lion and the dragon gave unto him his power his seat and his authority so we see his great wickedness he's a beast we see his worldwide dominance satan gives to him his power his seat and great authority all this is information about this antichrist this beast who comes on the scene during the time of the tribulation and makes a covenant with israel for seven years that he will break after three and a half years known as the abomination of desolation now this is where we could get bogged down so i want to try to make it simple and to the point i believe the seven heads represent seven mountains and those seven mountains represent rome so he is a roman leader chapter 17 and verse 9 makes that very clear if you get these cross references you can look them up they'll explain these symbols so this passage is packed with symbols but the scriptures explain what they represent so they are seven mountains which is the seven mountains of rome and then notice also in verse one ten horns ten crowns i believe the day chapter 17 verse 12. here's the cross reference represent ten kings that there will be ten nations that will align themselves of which to which the antichrist will rule over and then notice as well in verse one upon his heads the names of blasphemy so he's anti-god antichrist anti the things of god and the word of god he'll be blaspheming god he will most likely be an avowed atheist but he'll have religious overtones and we'll see next week in chapter 17 that he has another beast that comes out of the land who is the false prophet his religious sidekick who joins forces with him now then notice this is where it gets really bizarre this beast is like a leopard he has the feet of a bear and he has a mouth like a lion now if you saw that walking down the street you'd freak out if you were taking a walk down the block and this animal this creature came down the street you would freak out so this is a symbol this is a symbol of all these nations that will co-align and reappear in one man the beast the antichrist and it all takes us back if you're taking notes to daniel chapter 2 as well as daniel chapter 7. in daniel 2 king nebuchadnezzar had a dream and in this dream he saw a big statue and had a head of gold it had breast and arms of silver he had belly and thighs of brass it had legs of iron and it had feet and toes of iron and clay now in that image of that vision or that dream in daniel chapter 2 he is actually seeing all of the world ruling empires from babylon down to the revived roman empire at which time jesus christ comes out from heaven he's called a stone cut without hands strikes this image of nebuchadnezzar and it all crumbles so basically saying in simple fashion that all the kingdoms of men will come to an end but all the world ruling empires the governments the nations the kings of men will crumble jesus christ will return he will put an end to them and he will set up his kingdom which will be an everlasting kingdom there'll be no end forever and ever but here's how they all play in in daniel chapter 7 the lion represents babylon the bear represents medo-persia and the leopard represents greece now in revelation chapter 13 i hope you're not totally confused the leopard represents greece the bear represents medo-persia and the lion represents babylon so in daniel chapter 2 these nations babylon medo-persia greece and rome are all in the statue in daniel chapter 7 they're wild beasts so in one chapter we see them as a statue gold silver iron clay all of that that's man's view glorifying man's kingdom but god's view in chapter 7 of daniel is that they are wild beasts that they are a lion they're a bear they're a leopard and then the roman empire is called dreadful and terrible ten horns one of the horns has a little horn come out of it which is a reference to the antichrist this man of sin the son of perdition the lawless one but go back with me to revelation chapter 13 and in verse 2 where it says there that he was like unto a leopard so he wasn't an actual leopard this is symbolism but he looked like a leopard that leopard represents the grecian empire under alexander the great his feet were as the feet of a bear the bear was a picture or symbol of the medo-persian empire and then the lion was a picture of the babylonian empire now you may have not noticed but john sees them in the reverse order that daniel saw them in when daniel saw them it was the lion babylon the bermuda persia and the leopard greece and then the dreadful and terrible animal which was the roman empire that's how they came sequentially in history but that's because daniel listen carefully daniel looked ahead and saw them as they unfolded babylon middle persia greece and rome but john looked backwards so he sees them in reverse but it confuses people sometimes but john's looking backward daniel's looking forward but basically all of them are basically saying that all of these kingdoms babylon medo-persia greece and rome will all be rebirthed in this one kingdom confederated of ten nations with this one man of sin the antichrist running and controlling all that's going on but i want you to notice also not only his personal description but in verse 2 at the end of that verse we have a powerful deposit made into this one man it says the dragon now in chapter 12 verse 9 that's a reference to satan gave unto him that is the antichrist the beast his power his seat and his great authority sell your soul to the devil and he'll make you powerful but you can gain the whole world but if you lose your soul it profits you what nothing remember when jesus was tempted by the devil in matthew chapter 4 and the devil asked jesus fall down and worship me just just fall down and worship me and you see all these kingdoms of the world he said they're mine and i can give them to whomever i want you know that jesus didn't say no they're not they're not yours he didn't argue that point with the devil now what he did was quoted scripture which said thou shalt worship the lord thy god and him only shalt thou serve which again is interesting because the devil just said worship me he didn't say serve me but jesus knows whatever we worship we end up serving but jesus actually didn't dispute the devil's claim they are mine and i can give them to whomever i will all the governments of man have failed why because man is a sinner and our beloved our precious our wonderful united states of america founded on godly principles in the word of god george washington said it's impossible to govern a nation without god or the bible is due one day to do to its demise i i shudder to think to have to watch it in my lifetime but america won't last forever the freedoms won't last forever all the kingdoms of men will come to naught there's only one kingdom that will last forever and that's the kingdom of god amen amen so don't put your stock in government don't put your stock and man stand up for your rights get politically involved if you must but keep your perspective and your priorities on the kingdom of god so important don't get so bogged down in this earthly kingdom thinking that their lives are hope our hope is in jesus christ amen it's because he is sitting on the throne now even though you read about this wicked man this beast in chapter 13 and his world dominance in chapter 13 god is still on the throne and his kingdom is forever and he will come and reign in righteousness and we as the church will be co-reigning with him we're a part of that coming kingdom so his powerful deposit is that the dragon verse 2 gave to him his seat his power and great authority write down second thessalonians chapter two and verse nine which by the way second only to rome uh revelation 13 is the second thessalonians chapter two it says referring to this man of sin whose coming is after the working of satan with all power signs and lying wonders so he's coming with power from the devil with the signs and lying wonders jesus said no to the devil the antichrist will say yes and he'll be set up as the world ruling power satan was cast in chapter 12 out of heaven to the earth and he is angry and he's going to use this man of sin to bring his wrath upon this world so we move from his wickedness his world dominance to thirdly in verse three his wonder notice it with me he says and i saw so john is actually seeing all this unfold in his vision one of his heads as it were notice that statement as it were so this is again a symbolic thing wounded to death and his deadly wound was healed and all the world wandered after the beast now notice one of his heads as it were wounded to death and then his deadly wound was healed now this is where bible teachers and good christians disagree and get confused and don't really kind of have any definitive word on what's going on here there's two basic views and i'm not dogmatic about either one i have one that i think is more plausible the first is that there will be an assassination attempt on the antichrist and that he will actually be wounded in the head and that he will be revived or so-called resurrected and that people will then wander after the beast or worship him now i believe that this wound on the head is more symbolic and not an actual attack upon an antichrist you know i think years ago one of the russian leaders had a had a band-aid on his head and everyone said he's the antichrist freaking out again cool your jets we don't know who the antichrist is people are freaking out is he alive today does he live in menifee maybe marietta where is he from calm down all we can know is what the bible teaches that he will be invested with all this power from the pit of hell itself 2 thessalonians 2 verse 9 is coming as after satan with power signs and lying wonders the antichrist but notice in verse 3 as i pointed out one of his heads was wounded the second view is that and i believe this is more plausible although i'm not dogmatic is that it's a reference to what will happen the revived roman empire one of his heads represented rome rome will be revived you know the last world ruling empire hegemony was rome and caesar's declared themselves to be who god and if christians didn't put the incense on the altar and say caesar is lord they would be thrown to the lions in the arena right and people thought that nero was the antichrist and i can understand why but actually the roman empire which was destroyed in ad476 has never ever been restored the roman empire now adolf hitler tried to do that and he failed he wanted to make the mediterranean like a german lake and take over the western europe and the world he wanted to rule the world you know the children's rhyme humpty dumpty humpty dumpty sat on the wall humpty dumpty had a great fall that nursery rhyme is about man's failed attempts to restore the revival of the roman empire all which have failed that's what that nursery rhyme is about and man has failed all the way up so since rome there's never been another world ruling empire since babylon you can actually go back to egypt assyria babylon medo-persia greece and the roman empire no more world-ruling empires until the antichrist comes isn't it interesting how commonly today the world wants to talk about globalism and the need to be one world all of the global issues economy and political and religious the hostility is raising in america and around the world against christians globalism is forefront there are people who are committed wealthy individuals in the world are committed that the only hope for humanity is one world government and they're going to get it after the confusion of the rapture taking place and all the fanatic crazy fundamental christians are gone which they're going to be glad they're gone then and only then can the antichrist be revealed there's something holding him back paul says in 2nd thessalonians chapter 2. i believe it involves the rapture of the church that he will be revealed make a covenant for seven years with israel and the clock starts to tick seven years of man's history a last one world government which by the way is the seventh of world governments it will be antichrist and it will just be destroyed when guess who returns jesus christ amen he comes back to set up his kingdom on earth now the point of verse 3 is not his wound which was healed but the point is that all the world verse 3 wandered after the beast globalism everyone in the world was like an awe and wonder and amazement this guy is amazing there's this huge void right now for leadership not only in america but in the world this guy will fill that void and everyone will worship and wonder after the beast then notice it turns to worship this is mark number four wickedness world dominance wonder and number four worship verse four they worshipped the dragon which gave power to the beast they worshipped the beast saying who is like unto the beast and who is able to make war with him so they worship satan verse 4 they worship the antichrist and they are in wonder saying who is able to make war against him now some bible prophecy buffs like to put ezekiel 38 and 39 in this fourth verse when they believe russia will invade israel and then god in defense of israel will destroy the russian nation and that world power will be in demise that the antichrist halfway through the tribulation can come to power and take over the world so who is like unto the beast and who is able to make war against him write down ii thessalonians chapter 2 verse 4 where paul says that he will oppose and exalt himself above all that is called god so that and that is worship so that he as god sitting in the temple of god shows himself that he is god so he will actually declare himself to be god command everyone to worship him and then there will be deception 2 thessalonians 2 verse 10 and 12 he will come with deceivableness of unrighteousness and them that perish because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved for this cause god shall send them strong delusion paul says that they should believe the lie and that they all might be damned who believe not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness think about that the world worshiping a man who is demonically satanically empowered satan's great deception his goal has always been to be worshipped and he will achieve that in this man of sin known the antichrist you ever seen the pictures pre-world war ii of all the germans with their hands raised heil hitler and you think how could people be so foolish to follow such a demonic wicked man who you could describe as a beast but satan's power to influence through these national leaders and then fifthly fifthly verse five and six his words his words notice there was given unto him a mouth now i want you to note a phrase there was given to him twice in verse 5 and twice in verse 7. it was given unto him and power was given unto him four times from verse five to verse seven there was given unto him here's the principle god sits on the throne and god allows satan to give his power to the antichrist so you can say in a sovereign sense god gave it to him no one can do anything but what god allows them to do it but he is allowing satan to be used for his purpose remember when satan was tempting job and he had to go to god and get permission to attack job i like the idea that satan can't do anything to me unless god gives him the permission now there's a lot of times i wonder why god gave him permission could you tell him to bug off beals above but evidently god's bragging about you or me just like he did with job you know and he trusts that we'll stand for him and he lets us be tested and tried but there was given to him sovereignly by god and practically by satan but satan is in god's instrument a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies and there was power given to him to continue for 42 months that is the same as three and one half years or 1260 days the second half of the seven years of tribulation and he opened his mouth verse six in blasphemy against god blaspheming his name his tabernacle and then the dwell in heaven one of my titles for the antichrist based on this verse is mr big mouth can talk like that because i'll be raptured before he comes nanny nanny nanny you can't touch me mr big mouth it would seem as though he's given demonic satanic power of oratory to sway nations and peoples that he's given this power this charismatic demonic power to sway people with these persuasive words and he blasphemes god he will be the leader of the atheistic group power given to him to continue for three and a half years god is in control of this wicked man now write down daniel chapter 7 verse 8 where daniel describing the same individual says he'll have a mouth speaking great things in daniel 7 verse 25 he shall speak great words against the most high and shall wear out the saints of the most high and to think to change times and laws and they will be given unto his hand until the time time and the dividing of a time or three and a half years exactly what is named here in verse 5 of revelation 13. so we have his wickedness his world dominance the wonder the worship his powerful words and last we see in verse 7 to verse 10 his war he is a man of war not of peace now in revelation chapter 6 when he first came he was on a white horse he had a bow but no arrows so he comes as a false messiah and brings a pseudo piece but the bible says when they shall say peace peace then sudden destruction comes upon them as travail upon a woman who was with child verse 7 to 10 john says it was given unto him that is the antichrist to make war with the saints this is not the church these are tribulation saints to overcome them and power was given unto him over all the kindreds tongues and nations again this is a world ruling dictator evil man and all that dwell upon the earth verse 8 another universal reign they shall worship him whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb or that pertains to the lamb slain from the foundation of the world now if any man has an ear let him hear notice the omission in verse nine of the phrase found commonly seven times in chapters two and three what the spirit says to the churches why is that omitted because the church is not here on earth it's up in heaven so if any man have ear to hear let him hear he that leads into captivity verse 10 shall go into captivity he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword here is the patience of the faith of the saints now this closing statement is that he makes war against the saints don't be confused these are tribulation saints these are people who weren't saved when the rapture took place and by the way just a footnote when the rapture happens only saved and all the saved were caught up to heaven it's not a reward for being super spiritual you don't have to be a super saint to be raptured but you do have to be a saint you're either a saint or you ain't i mean christians all the time oh i got to pray more i got to go to church more i got to be holy i got to live a good life i got to be ready i don't want to miss the rapture if you're born again you will be raptured the rapture is not a reward for the deeper life club which doesn't exist i'm just joking you're going to leave today i want to be in the deeper life club there's no such thing just kidding it's that simple if you're born again you're going to get raptured now you might get raptured and then say well i wish i would have served the lord more i wish i would have been more committed to christ because you'll be saved by fire all your works will be woody and stubble to be burned up but you'll be saved we use the expression by the skin of your teeth but you're saved wouldn't it be better to say i lived for christ i served christ i followed christ i served the lord and to find you have works of gold silver precious stone for all eternity that's what you want to do but we're going to be raptured we're going to be caught up to be with the lord but on the earth those whose names are not in the book of life verse 8 they will worship the beast as well as follow the false prophet we read about beginning in verse 11. now let me say something about the book of life of the lamb there's a lot of confusion out there that i'm personally convinced is unnecessary and people like to differentiate between the book of life and the book of the lamb i don't believe there's any distinction i believe there's only one book and i believe that when you're born again your name is put in the book of life or the book of the land in the greek this phrase of the lamb and some translation some modern translation renders it this way it's actually saying it's the book of life and then of the lamb speaks of that it relates to those who are part of the cross of christ they're born again because the lamb died for them he paid for their sins they're in the book of life so it pertains to the lamb of god it's not actually called the book of the lamb it's called the book of life and the life there is not just natural life it's eternal life what does john 3 16 say for god so loved the world he gave his only begotten son whoever believes in him shall not perish but have what that's the same life the moment you are born again you are put in the book of life we used to sing there's a new name written down in glory and it's mine oh yes it's mine with my sins forgiven i am bound for heaven amen and by the way i don't want to get sidetracked but i can't help but throw that in it's not written in pencil it cannot be erased you say well didn't didn't the lord say i will not blot out your name from the book of life yeah that's a promise he won't do it why do you want to turn that around and say be careful i might do it he's saying i won't do it and i will not blot out your name from the book of life that's him actually saying he can't do it won't do it and we'll never do it he's not warning you that he could do it if you don't straighten up so i believe that once your name is in that book of life that you will go to heaven that you'll be raptured if you're here before the rapture takes place that you're secure in christ and this is what he's actually saying here in verses 9 and 10 if any man have ear let him hear now those who are on the earth tribulation saints which you just mentioned who will be taken captive who will be killed with the sword those who have led them into captivity they will go into captivity those who killed them of the sword they will be killed with a sword what he's promising in verse 10 is the principle of retribution he's promising god will straighten it out if they throw you in jail they're going to go to jail i actually wept this week when i saw the wife of the pastor from canada that's in prison right now he's in prison because he opened his church and let god's people come worship god and preach the bible it's happening right now the interviewer said how's your husband doing she said well he's a pastor he loves god's people he's a theologian he wants to preach the bible how do you think he's doing he's in prison right now he's in jail he's getting more time in jail than murders and robbers and thieves are in canada for what for doing what we're doing here right now this moment and who knows the day might not be far off and pastors and leaders and christians could be imprisoned or jailed in america because we're having church because we're gathered in his name or just reading the bible could be classified as hate speech and we could be outlawed so it's a comforting promise from god that i will take them into captivity they killed with the sword they must be killed with the sword and then he closes with here is the patience and the faith of the saints you know what he's actually saying in closing saints of god tribulation saints of god be patient trust in me this is the patience and the faith of the saints now all that we've covered is to remind us there is coming a man of sin but i believe that the church will be raptured and caught up to meet the lord in the air and we will be forever with the lord and then when the lord comes back in his second coming guess what we come back with him amen not only will god's people be caught up to heaven but we will never ever ever be separated from god again all our tears will be wiped away we will return with jesus revelation chapter 19 and power and you know how the antichrist comes to his end jesus destroys him with merely the brightness of his coming he just melts on the spot and the bible says in revelation chapter 20 that he's thrown into the lake of fire actually the end of chapter 19 going into 20 that this beast and his false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire brimstone that they'll burn there for all eternity that place is prepared for satan and his followers so i'm worshiping jesus christ amen and ready for him to come back and set up his kingdom
