these strange personalities was Oliver McCall the atomic bull performed well in the amateur ring he won the Chicago Golden Gloves tournament twice and ended almost all of the fights with a knockout he was strong gifted by Nature fast and a highly responsive boxer what else is needed for success discipline and regime however Oliver had a serious problem with this he became a heroin addict it all started with smoking types of drugs an Asha and Craig and ended with other more severe forms of intoxicating substances in 1985 McCall became a professional his career did not work out he suffered several defeats from top heavyweight fighters such as James Buster Douglas Tony Tucker and Orlin Norris persistence endurance and ability to keep the punch these qualities attracted Kevin Rooney Oliver received an invitation to visit boxing camp and spar with Mike Tyson a young superstar in the heavy division Don King loved to watch the sparring of Mike and Oliver he knew the power of McCall and King was also aware of Oliver's hobbies the promoter knew the very strings that he needed to pull in order to recruit the atomic ball the ability to think a few steps ahead was an important factor in King's success as a promoter and as an entrepreneur in 1992 Tyson was in prison and Don signed a contract with McCall journalists in the media were perplexed why did Don hire this strange fighter but King always had a reason for his actions he had influence on Oliver and made him a world first down invited McCall Emanuel Steward to the camp under the leadership of Stuart and the strict supervision of the main shark of the promotion business the atomic ball scored five competent early victories and became a number one in the world rating according to the WBC by 1994 Lewis was the accused her husband of inappropriate behavior towards her and their children and in April 1997 Oliver was sent to a psychiatric clinic where he was admitted and assigned to psychiatrist McCall received his fee for the fight with Louis and resumed his career but was fined two hundred and fifty thousand Lennox Lewis after the fight with McCall became the best boxer in the heavyweight division of revenge with his principal rival served as the starting point from the beginning of his reign in the Royal Division and what about Oliver he performed in the ring for a very long time with his last fight in 2018 these strange characters can be treated differently but it was McCall who changed the course of history and became the cause of a breakdown in the money battle in the heavyweight
