movie we got two antidotes at the back of that oven wasting time here wasting time are you kidding me for this list we'll be looking at the most memorable trap from each saw film which traps do you consider the greatest let us know in the comments now let's count down the top 10 and hope we don't get trapped along the way saw adam and gordon's test the first saw film is relatively tame at least by saw standards even the iconic reverse bear trap keeps most of the violence off screen the device you're wearing is hooked into your upper and lower jaws when the timer in the back goes off your mouth will be permanently ripped open as great as that trap is though nothing compares to adam and gordon's test the dilapidated bathroom setting of the trap adds to the movie's uniquely grungy atmosphere and has an escape room vibe to it complete with the literal x marks the spot there are ways to win this hidden all around you just remember x marks the spot for the pressure gordon's test to kill adam adds a fantastic spin on the proceedings as most saw traps simply involve people trying to survive and save themselves think about this you don't need a gun to kill out there's also the famous sawing off the foot scene which helped to give the movie and the series its torture porn distinction just calm down there's a way out of here and of course there's the amazing twist that sees jigsaw standing up from the bloody floor peeling off his makeup and locking adam in the bathroom to die simply put there's a lot to love here saw two the furnace the second saw film featured its fair share of memorable traps including the famous venus flytrap a saw staple the device around your neck is a depth mask there was also the horrifically simplistic needle pit but there's just something positively nightmarish about the furnace right now you are breathing in the deadly nerve agent you've been breathing it since you arrived here obi's test required him to crawl into a metal furnace in order to retrieve two antidotes the furnace sprang to life after obi grabbed the second antidote thank you to survive obi was forced to crawl through the flames and burn himself in order to twist a valve and cut the gas fire is a primal fear for many and burning to death is one of the most horrific and painful ways to go i can't get it open this trap preys on those fears forcing the victim to override their instincts and suffer extreme pain to survive the saw movies are well known for their buckets of blood but watching someone burn to death is arguably scariest of all come on saw three angel trap the third saw film really amped up the violence factor providing viewers with some truly depraved traps and disgusting visuals i am the only person who knows where your daughter is only has a limited supply of air this includes jeff's final test in which he's asked to spare and forgive jigsaw a borderline impossible task and the infamous rack which saw timothy's limbs twisted in grotesque fashion but the worst of them all is the angel trap suffered by detective alison carey the concept of the trap is simple stick your hand into a vat of acid to retrieve a key and unlock the device you should know better than anyone what happens then there is a single key that will unlock the harness carry it is right in front of you of course this trap threw viewers a massive twist as it was actually inescapable the result of amanda young's devious manipulations all you have to do is but do it quickly the acid will dissolve the key in a matter of seconds furthermore the revolting image of alison's shall we say failure is one of the most memorable in the entire saw franchise [Music] with this trap viewers realized that saw 3 would be making for a far more extreme experience saw 4 mausoleum the competition style traps are always memorable and the mausoleum trap from saw 4 is arguably the most genius of them all talk to me two victims are chained to a large contraption that will eventually strangle them one has his eyes sewn shut and the other his mouth in order to escape they need to retrieve the key that has been attached to the blind man's shackle the only problem is communication the mute man has to find a way to communicate with the blind man and the blind man needs to get over his panic and trust the other man enough to follow his orders of course this being saw things immediately go off the rails the concept of the trap is incredibly imaginative and creative and it plays out in surprisingly realistic fashion it's easy to sit at home and say oh they should have done this or that it would be another thing entirely when actually placed in such a dangerous and frightening situation saw five glass coffin the glass coffin is a deceptively easy trap to survive the only way to survive this room is by entering the glass box before you in fact it's so deceptively easy that peter strom doesn't believe it hoffman explicitly states on the tape that crawling into the coffin will guarantee strom's survival that's literally all there is to it but distrusting hoffman and believing it to be a trick strom pushes hoffman into the glass coffin unfortunately hoffman was indeed telling the truth and the coffin is slowly lowered into the floor while the walls close around strom painfully crushing him to death i ask you special agent strong have you learned enough to trust me will you heed my warning it makes for a fantastic twist ending with the bad guy gloating as he's lowered to safety and the good guy becoming the victim of his own mistrust i know who you are i know it has elements of the first movie's ending with the villain winning and revealing a twist as the iconic song music plays in the background saw 6 acid room the acid room contains several participants what are you doing here they include william easton a slimy health insurance agent and mother and son tara and brent abbott william is placed through a series of tests throughout the film as tara and brent watch from their enclosure william's sister pamela is watching from another let it go i made it i won however just when williams seems to have survived everything the room can throw at him the movie's shocking twist reveals that his stinginess resulted in the death of tara's husband harold will you grant this man the opportunity to continue living or when you dispense the same death sentence he issued your husband william whose job gave him the power to make life or death decisions is now at tara's mercy she's given the choice to spare and forgive him or kill him with acid mercy please did he show mercy when my husband was suffering it's a great bit of irony and william's grisly death ends saw six on a suitably brutal note it makes for one of the most memorable endings in the entire saw franchise saw 3d public execution the final saw film contained its fair share of remarkable traps including the brazen bowl that saw joyce dagon roasted alive [Music] but the movie's greatest trap is arguably its first somebody help us the victims tested in the trap are dina brad and ryan her fun and games pushed you both to break the law to fulfill her material needs she is toxic deena has cheated on and manipulated both men and brad and ryan end up fighting each other to break the love triangle and you know not to get cut in half the trap contains three circular saws one at each end to be pushed into either brad or ryan and a third in the middle after a brief and bloody struggle brad and ryan decide to team up and take out dina who's lowered down onto the third saw that works man she's not worth it this trap opens the movie in an extremely gruesome fashion the competition-style traps could be the hardest to survive but in this
