The BEST & QUICKEST way to FIND & FIX broken CC in Sims 4!

this is the best and quickest way to find and fix broken cc so keep on watching hello guys and welcome or welcome back to my channel it is so nice to see you today we're gonna be talking about how to fix and how to find broken cc whether we're talking about cass cc or build them by cc but before we get into this video just a quick reminder if you like this type of content and if you find it useful to our video so first things first we're gonna talk about how to find and fix broken cast cc and then we're gonna move on to the build and buy cc so before you do anything all i want you to do is to basically backup your entire ea folder you just need to copy and paste it somewhere else on your computer it can be on your other local drive on a flash drive on an external drive or basically on your desktop wherever you can essentially but make sure it's in a different location than your documents folder here are the things that you need to check beforehand so make sure that you've one placed your cc inside your main mats folder like do not place those in subfolders and two make sure that these two boxes are ticked within your sims 4 options because if those are intact your cc won't show up and we won't be able to detect what cc are broken and if you're dealing with mods and cc not showing up or not working in your game i have this video which talks about various reasons why your mods or cc are acting that way now we're going to open up our game we're gonna go to new game we're basically gonna go through all these sections so let's just start with the very first one you need to go through clothes accessories hair and all that shot so we're gonna start with the very first one and we're gonna filter by custom content so that all of our cc show up right over here by the way pro tip for a better experience when sorting out cc while in cast i highly highly highly recommend using the more columns mod i've talked about this mod in the specific video and how you can basically install it so if you're interested in that and if you want to have a better viewing experience thanks to those three four five columns definitely check that out and we're gonna basically click on this little arrow over here filter by custom content and we're gonna basically dress up our sim using every single you know piece of clothing that is shown in the cc section until we find a broken one so you can tell that a cc is broken if there are red marks on your sims when using that specific cc or when your sims body disappears when using that cc if you find yourself in either of these two cases definitely stop right over here you need to actually dress up your sim using that broken piece of clothing okay so once you have found it you actually need to keep it like that like do not dress your skin with any other clothes that are working fine you just need to dress up your sim with that specific broken cc and the way you want to go about this you basically need to create multiple outfits using your broken cc by clicking on this plus button if you didn't know you can create up to five different outfits in this everyday category and obviously you can extend it to the other categories like you know party outfits and basically create a bunch of outfits different outfits so make sure that you don't create outfits that contain the very same broken cc because what we are trying to do over here is to basically detect all those broken cc and dress up our sim with that specific cc so once you detect scc we are going to create a brand new outfit and then we're gonna go through that specific section once again until we find a different broken cc and then do it over and over again until you have selected every single broken cc in different outfits once you've incorporated all of your broken cc from all these sections like dresses accessories pants shirts skirts shoes in different outfits you need to basically save your sim to your library just click on this button right over here and then save to library and you can name your sim broken cc so that you can easily figure out that that specific sim contains only broken cc that you want to fix or get rid of now we're essentially going to close our game and we're going to install a program called the sims 4 tray importer so make sure that you select the right path for your the sims 4 and documents folder right over here in this settings window and then you should be able to see all of your households right over here here's our broken cc sim so we're gonna click on it and we are going to head over to the cc section over here so that we can easily see what are the cc that we've used to create this specific sim and you can basically and very easily click on the very first mod and then click on the last mod while also holding shift to select all of these and then you can click on show containing folder and if we scroll in this mods folder you should be able to see all these mods highlighted in blue and you can either press delete to delete them or you can take a closer look to this list and see if any of your mod is basically called recolor because that specific cc which is called recolor might need a mesh and that's the reason why it is broken and it's not working in your game so if you don't have any recolor cc in here you can obviously delete all these ones because those are most probably broken and not compatible with your game so basically in this list there can be two categories like broken cc that you need to delete as those are broken or not broken cc and basically you can google those if you only have the recolor installed because that specific cc needs a mesh and then you just need to put a mesh in your mouth folder and your cc should be fine an additional tip for you guys you can also batch fix your cc using the sims 4 studio program so i've talked about this program in several other videos there are so many features that you can use and that are so helpful because you can essentially make your game run faster you can view all of your cc without opening your game you can fix that embarrassed buff that is showing up whenever your sim is wearing a specific piece of clothing and besides that you can fix certain cc categories so if that's the case for you you can go right over here to batch fixes and you can fix those by using this program and this program will basically update those specific cc and your problem should be fixed moving on to build and buy cc here's our to-do list for today you need to make sure that you've unzipped your cc beforehand that you've placed those cc into your main mods folder and last but not least that you've enabled mods cc and script mods in your game options and don't forget about backing up your ea folder once again because we don't want to encounter any you know missing files kind of issues just copy and paste it just to make sure that everything will go smoothly if your cc are still not showing up i highly highly recommend taking a look at this video because i mentioned some more reasons why your cc or mods are not showing up in a games now we're gonna do the very same thing we're gonna create a brand new sim move him into an empty lot we're gonna access build mode obviously and we're gonna create a big or a small room depending on the amount of broken furniture that you have so basically if you have lots of broken cc you can create a large room or if you have a few broken cc you can create a small room but you can obviously expand it to your desire afterwards essentially and now we're going to go to this all section we're going to click on this we're going to go on to the all section we're going to click on this arrow and filter by custom content so that all of our build and by cc show up in this list another pro tip for you guys if you want to easily find and see all of your cc building by objects i highly recommend this mod that i've talked about in the specific videos give it a shot you know expand your catalog so that you can see your items a lot better and now we're going to basically place all those broken cc building by objects in this room you can basically tell that a specific cc is broken if it's acting really if it looks weird when placing it on your lats so make sure to place all these broken cc inside this room once you sorted those and decided which ones are broken you basically need to save this room to your library just click on this click on save to my library and you can basically name that specific build or room broken building by cc so that it's easier for you to identify that specific room within that program now we are going to close our game and we are going to head over to our tray importer program just click on that specific you know broken building by cc go to cc and then you can see in this list all these broken cc that you've used in this room and as i said before you can either remove those or you can google those and see if any of those need to be updated in order to function properly or once again you can install this program which is called the sims 4 studio and you can basically go right over here go to batch fixes and batch fix those there are certain fixes for building by objects so if you happen to find your desired broken cc in here definitely batch fix those i truly hope you like this little video and if
