The Best Home CCTV System in 2021 - Hikvision ColorVu CCTV

hello and welcome to electrical innovations in this video i'm going to talk about cctv so we're getting a lot of cctv inquiries especially locally in the area we live it's it's a nice area there's a lot of people with um you know two-car families nicer houses which often gets a lot of crime um sounds deaf because you didn't think you wouldn't think the nicer areas are the ones that have the crime but a lot of door handles on cars being checked people seeing keys from in houses or scanning the keys with the laptops that's a new thing so we get a lot of inquiries for cctv in domestic properties protect the cars on the front of the street and everyone wants to know the same thing what's the best cameras for my house what's the best for a domestic property and what's the best just to you know look after the family so i know what's going on when i'm not there or when i'm in bed and i can get notifications to my phone all that sort of thing people want to know what's the best system to get so i'm going to talk a bit about what we fit and um we've got you know hick vision cctv recorder we've got the the nvr that you know we fit one of them in your house and then we fit what's called a color view cctv camera and i've actually got one of these here so you can see on the screen behind me this is actually set up um with my funky uh ipad set up on the screen and doing the video recording but these are the cameras that we we recommend everyone fit it's a color view cctv camera from hick vision and you can see that you've got the logo on the side which says hick vision so these cameras are the uh the mac daddies of cctv cameras at the moment we love these this is a four megapixel ip camera with built-in audio and full color at night now uh a year ago these weren't on the market in another year there'll be a whole new beast that's out there um showing you what the best camera is however at the moment you still want to know what's the best currently and these are the ones we recommend so what i'm going to do is i'm just going to walk over to the light switch and let me turn this camera like this i'm going to walk over to the light switch and i'm just going to turn the lights off in my office so you can see on the camera what what you're going to be looking at and why we like these cameras for domestic properties so in a housing state you know you nice quiet street nice cordy sack a bit of street lighting at night all the trouble happens at night always is you get people coming down the drive trying your door handle breaking into your shed um going after your garage things like that always at night so for us the best camera is the one with the best night vision so you might have seen the really grainy bad black and white camera images a thing of the past these things these cameras that we fit are amazing so not only do you get your really high good quality um you know good resolution picture like this which you know we don't i don't normally have cables dangling but it's just one of an example you get your normal you get your really good high quality picture but then you also get your audio and your full color at night so i'm just going to walk in front of the other camera here so you can see me on the screen there we are and i'm just going to turn the lights off and you can see you can see what we've got so there you go it's pretty black in here um if you uh so this you're looking at me on the screen at the minute so this is the screen and this is the the actual darkness of the room so this is the the tv monitor that's playing what the camera sees and if i just walk over here and look into the camera you can see you're getting that full color image and it's really crystal clear so um go back land here you can see if if i take my ipad with me there you go pretty black but then when i walk around here and you can see me on the screen this is the worst example ever but you get the idea you can see how bright that image what is when it's on the screen so there you go how's that so you can see me holding the camera like that and how dark it is and this is the image that you're going to see from the cctv cameras when they're actually producing the image at night now it is fairly bright outside i've got the blinds closed but there's very little light in here if i just spin the camera around the office um you'll be able to see you've got to see how dark it is in the office you know so that is pretty black yeah and on the screen and what i'll do is i'll just walk out into our workshop because the workshop area in here is even darker and it'll give you a good example then of what you're going to be looking at on your street when it is really pitch black dark so in behind this door here you can see on the screen so the hammers door here is pitch black and it is actually really bright in there when i put the camera in but if i bring my ipad in just have another look and spin that round you can see that's how dark it is with the ipad and that is the same view from the color view camera so like i say these are the best cameras currently on the market in my opinion um bear with me while i get all set back up sorry if it's a bit of a uh you know real high product production value video this one uh but i just wanted to show you what what you can get from our cctv systems there you go let's get the lights back on so this is a cooler view cctv camera from hikvision now they do this in the turbo range and the ip range now the difference in price you know you can go online you can uh hit vision prices are price protected so you shouldn't be able to see prices online from hikvision unless you're a trader however if you go on now and you search online for hit vision color view you're going to see these cameras listed everywhere because they are really popular so you're going to see the turbo range of cameras 50 to 100 pound each um they only really make one or two they do a two megapixel and a five megapixel and you're going to see the ip version that are about i think they're about 150 pound each to 200 sometimes you need a base with them it adds to the price so when you've got to factor in your supply and your fit your cost of your recorder you've got to factor in your setup and ongoing maintenance we supply and fit these systems two cameras supplied and fitted for 1200 pound we can do additional cameras at the same time for 300 pound each and we can also do them as a standalone single camera because it can take an sd card so you can wire one of these straight to your router put an sd card in it and off you go you've only got app access you'll need a laptop to set it up it's quite complicated but we can do that if you just want one camera and keep the cost down you're looking about 500 pounds for a single camera installation so if you're interested in cctv cameras we can fit you a system like this you can mix and match the cameras as well we can get we can go in accusents i've not got one in here i'm looking around for one we've got an accusent system um colour view is the focal at night accuses of really smart notification systems you're not going to get smart false alarms from things like animals and cars it's going to know if it's a human it's going to be able to pick you up it's going to give you a notification to your phone and the new range of color view and accents is just coming out where you get the same technology built into one camera that'll be out in the next month or so it's on the boat coming from china brexit covid and all the other reasons they'll be out soon i think first quarter of 2021 those cameras will be hitting expect them to be a little bit more expensive than color view you might pay an extra 20 pound of camera it's not going to be a massive amount to be fair when we get hold of them we'll probably be doing the systems at about the same price um depending it doesn't matter what cam you have and they're all roughly the same
