NEW Hikvision 4MP ColourVu Turret (White Light and Mic)

[Music] okay welcome to another how-to video my name is dike tech CTO at DVS and today we're gonna take a look at the new color view hikvision turret we've built in microphone yes you heared it we finally got them to make the turret external use we've built in microphone that was the round of applause I just hear so two things you need to remember is one don't forget to Like and subscribe to for everything I'm gonna move you now and show you the unboxing an installation of this tower camera and we'll move on from there okay we have one turret camera so inside the box you have the usual manual CD mounting template screws and plugs and nice multi-purpose allen key the external catfight plug now most of you do that with it please make sure you fit that and then in the box itself we can take the wrapper off we have the new style Terra camera as you can see it's a completely new design and follows the same and the actual footprint slightly larger but actually follows the same principle but this has been redesigned square fix lens and because it's part of the color view series we've actually got a permanent white light so at night nice white light lights up the area so axes the tyrant but also gives you an amazing color image which we will show you shortly its standard fly lead with an rj45 connector on it which is what that waterproof connector which most of you throw away goes on and as your 12-volt DC plug should you want to power it from DC instead SD card mounted in there and screw that put an SD card in there also the reset button and it even tells you up on there so those of you that don't realize when you put turn the camera on its upside down it does say up on there so you can orient a get ready so standard fit it on the back if you take this ring off which I'm probably not gonna be able to do yeah we go take that ring off again you'll see the screws there F monkeyin screws or to go on the back plate whichever you're doing and you've got the screw that you loosen up to rotate and turn it and then tighten it to lock it in position nice and simple and the built-in microphone on this one is if I can just look he didn't show you you can just see it you might be really hard to see I straight in this you can see here that little pinhole that's the microphone there so you can see get it there so I'm gonna go fit it in here we'll turn it on I'll show you that how to set up the audio and the quality of it what the like like there's and then you can go for it loads of them so see you in two seconds okay so we're gonna fix head camera will see how quickly it takes the pitch so we get the camera we connect it to our rj45 plug and you can see it'll come on there it's a plug-and-play NVR so plug it in there you go it's powered up so we know as we work in feed that cable through to conveniently sized hole we've made already we take one of our mounting screws look there's a hole almost marquees one man one match so they do much the old turret I had that we turn our camera where we want to be low-key let's knock it off a little bit it's a bit tight wanted to be probably over that way probably of all they're immune under me too bad once you're happy with it we tighten it up the lock I in place fantastic we get our ring locate the load lock in position yeah that's how quickly it takes to fit it if only they all I easy so now we're gonna move on to program and attach then okay welcome back so we're gonna wear Prague's into the camera really simple open internet explorer when you web browse into this if it asks you to update the plug-in please do make sure you get all the latest updates within the camera I think that's my password yes it is so standard web browser function when you open it you go into opens up the live view automatically you can see there's no problem if we go into configuration a couple of things to note you'll see in the system settings and the external device click on that so just for note that is the latest firmware as of today and al is for lights mr. white like model and us from microphone so it's the white light turret with built-in microphone so under external device you've got LED light so enable supplement like that's the white LED light if you just want the camera to be in color but you'll have no need for the white light to come on click that save that the image will stay in color as long as there's enough supplement like to keep it in color of course and but a white light won't come on you may have a reason you don't want that white light to be on we do want to answer we'll leave it on you can have it manual or auto adjustment I'm gonna put it as full full intensity and for purposes of testing to show you all bright it is if you leave it as auto you'll adjust it's kind of like the smart IR as an object gets closer and you can have as auto or timing if you if you put on the time your mode you can put a start and end time white light if you've got a specific reason for the come on at that time and go off at a set time that's what the fun can you do is is time in if you leave it as Auto which is what we're gonna do the filtering time is how long it judges the like level before it makes the change in the sensitivity is how sensitive is to that light change so we're just gonna put on Maxim's how it's doing in the lowest filter in time to get it to work quickly it's the same as the infrared principle so we've saved that all the other standard functions are the same so it's got the VCA motion third stream if you wanna accept etc sector h.265 plus we're gonna go back to live view now I've already turned quite a lot of the lights up will turn the main line not light off now so if you watch I'll put it round there so you can sort of see the white light okay turn need like tough okay instantly the white lights come on that is very bright you'll see it now I'm in the image like this to be honest so I'm gonna go stand in the foyer which we did the roof I can't get any bigger than this and that's how it's custom it goes like say I'm about 12 meters away from the camera now that look like is that intensive making that there the camera so in turn you get the facial detail because it makes me look at the camera but also it's very very bright it's lighting up the room nicely for me and it is actually creating my eyes a little bit by a minute so I'm gonna walk back now as you can see as I walk through the field of view and you'll see how good that is and I say if I turn the light but aren't if I turn the light off full stop let's just and turn the light off quickly to show you that it is actually dark in this room so it is reasonably dark in this room now and even without the white light on it is reasonably light you can see with the camera like I said it has got the built-in mic so what you do is put the white light back on to auto before we finish and quickly go into the end via the env on the cameras of different partners for security that's why I failed turn that speakers on go to playback play it back there we'll put the audio on and what he didn't quite like the main so you can hear the Oahu that if you want the audio pickup to be better move it out of the way if you want that to be bass echoing the configuration and the video no audio and the audio turn the input volume up environmental noise fella on so if I go to live you
