The BEST Dome train ride through Alaska to the Princess Lodges

cold and rainy we in Alaska there baby is that it [Music] foreign [Music] here we are we are going to do the land portion of our cruise tour of the land and sea so we just finished our sea portion I hope you watched that video we're gonna go up to Mount McKinley and go to the princess Lodge and then go to Fairbanks if it's cold and nasty and welcome to Alaska kind of looks like an A-frame enemy the enemy saw it they would just think that that was just a building so the way that they work it is on the hour which at 10 o'clock will be the next time you'll see the gate go up the tunnel was two and a half miles long it takes a 10 to an hour or six images to get through the tunnel and it's an interesting tunnel because it's only one lane light at 10 30 they'll reverse the traffic and the cars will come into weed eater trains do come in and out of here and they gotta go first [Music] we're in Anchorage we're gonna go to lunch at glaciers brew house I mean how bad can it be right sounds great it sounds amazing [Music] foreign [Music] by the time we left it was an hour away already ready for my three hour bus ride not of course let's see if we can find the right bus I can't trust us four hour drive is complete princess Wilderness Lodge here we come it might have been cheese or pizza that was a long one there's a tree house here [Music] foreign [Music] and now we're gonna go on a trail say man look at the lodge Trail right here and then up there is the tree house Lodge Trail here it is oh meeting moose yes please I mean this is why we're here I want to meet the moose avoiding counters of the bear I sure will you are here and it begins look at this our first Alaskan Trail on our own which means we are responsible for ourselves well I can tell you right now we're walking loud enough we are probably scaring everything in sight you see me cry if we ever see a moose I ain't kidding [Music] no moose on trail one we found the lodge apparently has a lookout area [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] yourself we went out on a limb and got mac and cheese but it's white cheddar white cheddar mac and cheese with a side of reindeer sausage which I've never tried and I don't think you've tried right oh no that's pretty good very rich and creamy all right I'm nervous I'm very nervous I think I like it it's a little different that's process it just uh I don't know the density of the meat's a little different put it out of your head that it's reindeer you'll like it reindeer it makes me sad of course Santa good morning from up in the mountains it smells wonderful so good up here intoxicating I'm in love [Music] the funness continues cold or rainy we in Alaska foreign [Music] so we have got off our shuttle and now we are waiting for what I'm excited about the rail car with the Dome to Denali so hopefully we'll see some good sights I'm so happy you say that stuff because I have not said Taki no oh did I say it I haven't said it right foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign foreign [Music] foreign foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] place is huge it's massive small cabins everywhere [Music] we made it five hours later seven hours later temperatures 51 degrees they had the windows open in here amazing fresh air Mountaineer baby is that it do that one it's a little warmer not when it's 50 to Alaska they probably it's probably summer to them this is his weather I know us we've been here not even five minutes we've changed to warmer clothes got our coats on we're ready to put your coat on I have it in the pack just in case we found a trail what's it called River [Music] view walking path how far is that the Riverview and a walking path put it together Joel there he is again story of my life right there foreign [Music] make every shot count I sure did didn't I [Music] how come the stars come to shine when it's dark from so far away show us where we are
