The Best Bushcraft Haversack? Polish Army Bread Bag- Canteen Cup Tuesday

came down to the woods today just as a cool morning I mean it's been 90 degrees I woke up this morning us at 64 it's like wow that's cool and you get out to the woods yeah I didn't even bring my backpack because I'm kind of testing out a new piece of gear I got the the Polish bread bag actually I saved both a picture of it later anyway I just have some stuff I'm gonna walk down here to the the creek although I'm sure there's no water in it now there might be I ain't been here a while anyway I give you a closer look I'm kind of laughing I I brought I brought this board down here he used to be longer than this I had old camp set up over there and it just it you know all the logs rotted and I had this one board but uh I was I was using it for something I was standing on it and that broke it broke so I wedged it between these two trees I'm not even kidding man at least at least ten years ago and this thing is floated I found it in this Creek like down there and I found it laying over two woods I found it it's like at different places but anyway I put it here ten years ago and but it's a good I'm now putting here for a hunting blind cuz it looks all the way down I can see like - I got two shooting lanes right here anyway this thing has grown into the tree I'll show you the where it broke was kind of sharp and I wedged it down in between these two trees for a bench and now look it's kind of grown in there what's so pretty so excited about my polish bread bag I'm show it to you I saw a video I mean I've seen I've seen several videos about these Polish bread bags but a couple years ago John Sherwood he he did one and he showed it you know he showed it pretty good a lot of the other videos that I saw about it really didn't show the inside of him or didn't really explain them they just talked about his the Polish bread bag I use it for a hammer sack and then Karl Karl oh he did one month or so five or six weeks ago I guess and and when I saw his I said you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna check it out so I get my stuff from online at place called Coleman's Coleman's I don't his coleman surplus or Coleman's military gear or Coleman's army store or something it's Coleman's though check them out anyway I looked ahead to it was they have them right now to for 10 bucks or like two 49.95 I think it was and then of course is like eight or nine bucks shipping but still you know I got two of these polish bread bags for under 20 bucks and they're there they're built they are they're tough tough things they don't they don't come with a strap that I found I had just found this old strap and put it on here and let me show you what put a what I got in mind now I put some you know I had to put something on here to hang my canteen just temporary I'll fix it up something else later anyway two pockets on the outside right here pretty cool and just give you some kind of reference I there's a pack of mayonnaise right so it's in there I I'm I suck at these um review type videos in fact I probably anyway I'm a I'm might even not even publish this anyway two more pockets right here in the back I guess I'm sweetener from a coffee some creamer from my coffee a spoon pike made me Darrien it's got some olive oil oh yeah I might I gotta do a little cooking in a little while my dark matter pipe gold there's another pocket right here I got some pipe tobacco and then it's got it you might not can see cuz it's got a divider in here it's big enough I get a propane stove tank and a tank of fuel and my windscreen it's all down in there anyway I like it I don't think it'll replace my normal canteen cup cooking bag but it sure will make a good second kit you know one keep one in my car and one of my truck like it it's cool it matches my Italian army rucksack that I use for my bushcraft and stuff it's got place on the back I guess that's their form of moly whatever I guess you could put this on a bigger attach this to a bigger pack and then on the bottom it has a little place for uh I just put my little canvas ground cloth on the bottom of it like yeah I'm gonna bring me up some coffee right now and I thought this one had one of those push button and push button starters on it why you always bring that's why you always bring a Ferro rod with you this is my Wallace Vivian I put a little V on there years ago he said the thing is me for four or five years ago blood-suckin tick yes mission I wonder how many more I got on me that cold water pushed those coffee grinds down grounds to the bottom hard to beat it I'm telling you you don't make coffee this way you should there goes the airplane I got a lighter strapped to this thing I'm not to bend down cuz I don't want to undo it this is mosquito and tick protection although I think I feel another one there's going down middle my back maybe I can convince the wife to do a tick check when I get home you know it's funny about I'm just rambling sometimes I just ramble at the camera you know I hear all these people I see people watching videos I out here I'm talking oh thank goodness summer's here you know oh we can finally go camping and finally go hiking and there's a handful of us on here you know I'm not wintertime and fall is the time for hiking and camping and to me you know summer times for the river for the lake you know where I need to be I need to be getting out there this weekend fishing I I just wanted to come down here to kind of check out what's going on down here at my camp and stuff like that but you know maybe some public campgrounds maybe they spray and they take care of ticks and ants but in the real woods you've got real you got real bugs in the real woods and they mess you up too you're not careful I sprayed I sprayed some stuff I mean it's kind of why I was wearing this I sprayed this and then put this on my head and then I sprayed it around my around my waist and then I sprayed you know my feet shoes and stuff but yeah too many of my friends yeah it messed up by ticks sound like a squirrel oh well guess I'm finished with my coffee I'm gonna pack up my stuff and head back to camp all right thank you spot and thank you for hanging out with me for a little while while I showed you my polish bread bag and brewed me up some cowboy coffee in the woods anyway we'll see you next time
