The Best Blade Sharpener Ever!!! Oregon Burr King X400

hey y'all and thanks for tuning back into chicanic it's five o'clock i'm at the shop i am ready to go home but i could not leave yet without making this video i saw a video yesterday by project farm who does excellent review videos when it comes to anything you can think of this man has done a review video on it if you have not seen his channel yet please go over there but i'm sure you have because he has tons of subscribers because his content is so awesome so i saw a video yesterday where he did the best blade sharpener and guys i gotta say mine's bigger and better i'm going to show you the one i have made by oregon it is the burr king x400 i paid a pretty penny for it but we sharpened probably up to 20 blades every single day it is completely worth it to us so without further ado let's go check this bad boy out this bad boy has a one horsepower electric motor on it it comes with a silicon grit belt instead of the aluminum oxide which burns much cooler it also has adapters if you have bush hog blades and i'm going to tell you right now we're going to knock some really bad blades out in a matter of seconds uh this thing is quite impressive it lists for about depending on where you are fifteen hundred to seventeen hundred dollars now i understand most homeowners they are not going to have this at the house so uh i just wanted to show y'all how awesome it is all right for this demonstration we just grabbed a few blades out of the back we got a couple different mtd blades a wider one and then we've got this one as you can see they are just tore up let me make sure it shows it really well i don't want you to not see how bad these are however they are we've even got a hustler blade here i want you to be able to see how rounded that one is there's just really no cutting edge to that left at all so i'm going to get my man ron up here and he's going to show you exactly how fast we can sharpen these blades first off we're going to start with the mtd blade that we see on most of the newer ones 42 inch cut and it is in terrible shape and we're going to sharpen both sides let's see we're going to put a timer up here and see how fast we can sharpen this [Music] blade [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] wow that is like i don't know i wanted to really be able to see that it was really terrible shape but hold on let's let's get in on here i'm not going to touch it because it's extremely hot but i do want to get it to focus here i mean for how bad that blade was that is impeccable awesome okay all right we're going to do a little bit of a wider mtd blade now and as you can see i mean this thing is in terrible shape also rounded edges in dire need of a sharpening let's see how fast we can do it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] it just don't get much faster and prettier than that fellas no it does not let's let's get a little behind here so you can see this edge oh ooh that's nice oh so nice all right so what about commercial blades the thick ones the ones that take forever to do with your hand grinder this one is in pretty bad shape see it's pretty rounded off there let's bust it out let's see how fast we can do [Music] it [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so [Music] it's like fireworks up in here check [Music] oh that's like taking it to the barber that is just one straight cut right there that is perfect it cuts at the perfect 30 degree angle every time guys i could just not tell you how nice this blade sharpener is check that out let's get behind here oh come on adjust oh there we go oh that is just that's smooth that's smooth and before we go i gotta show you this cool thing we've got in the shop it's been sitting here a while but a little dusty check it out that is one heck of a cool go-kart that little car is awesome the engine on it is a briggs and stratton from 1965 in almost mint condition it is one cool little machine so it looks like we can knock out an entire blade sharpen in under 50 seconds most of the time that is a crazy short amount of time to be able to sharpen a blade perfect edge perfect pitch every single time so i just wanted to show off you know my awesome tool at the shop thank you all so much for tuning in to chicanic if you haven't found us on facebook yet find us at facebook.com please don't forget to like this video and give me a subscribe if you haven't click that notification bell so you catch all of my videos thanks have a great day
