The absolute best chrome polish is no chrome polish

hey what's up everybody rpm with rpms garage here and I'm working on my 16 Road King here actually it's been spent on my bench here for about six months or so because let's put some ape hangers on in doing some other stuff and won't do a three hole oil change and lube change and all that stuff and everything but hey everybody's got about eleven thousand miles on it I love it loved riding it it's a great bike and it's been been now really smooth and holding up pretty well it's been neglected a little bit though cosmetically I have have not really spent the time that I should you know polishing up the chrome and stuff so I figured getting the thing up here on my on my workbench and it's secured there's a good spot you know to keep from having to bend over and work on it and you're not cleaning stuff so so we're we're experimenting with different ways especially you know cleaning the chrome well I'm working on it here and let me show you what I came up with and I'm gonna show you a before and after there's a spare money on some stuff that it wouldn't be seen like the old bars that I took off and stuff like that you know stuff that I don't necessarily I care too much for case you know was to the Mar to finish from scratch the finish or whatever but here's one of the you know the buckets on the side of the on the site you know the headlight cover the rights I think it is this is before okay so how good the cameras picking out up but just bug guts and just oxidation in general right I've spent literally one minute and I came up with this this is the other side literally one minute no chemicals no no coca-cola no urine new cat feces no hocus-pocus managed look look at this the difference okay let me show you what it is quadruple art still will it's all it takes I'm gonna try to hold the camera here let me show you guys what I'm talking about now I make sure to know you know try to make sure relatively you know clean finding a good smooth spot looking through the camera as I do this and it takes it takes a row and as far as I can tell I even looked at this with a magnifying glass chrome is extremely hard surface as far as I can tell there is absolutely no surface scratches than that now I haven't tried this on I haven't tried this on your other parts of the bike too much but if it's Chrome it's Chrome it's a hard surface and a Banton Hines on this thing you know it's probably gonna work everywhere else these exhaust covers same deal I mean it really does look like it's gonna here's a spot here not get test and you know there's a little like a little worse spot like looking calm you know what I'm talking about I think when you look at it really good you can see it everywhere even even after you wash it and Paulie you know wiped a bike down and you it's really super clean the chrome yeah that's gonna be definitely acceptable to me now getting in all these little spots and everything is gonna be I'm standing out here manga where I'm a garage but here's they own the crash bars I understand this is mostly dirt but this just leaves a glass-like finish it just really does trying to determine the types of scratchers that's a reflection unbelievable just some lines up there it's from the fluorescent light its own as wires and stuff I was looking at that was like is that a deep scratch anew and scratch moves around the crash bar it moves right around the crash bar as I move my head it is not a scratch which is good no just really super fine steel wool wouldn't do that anyway Emily I'm watching myself through the camera my the easiest thing to do a piece of dry steel wool cause you blot so come here it's unbelievable so that's my my tech tip crazy right look I haven't tried the aluminum but uh this is like a dream come true I know I'm gonna get some comments probably going to people people saying how rpm everybody knows about this what the hell you know you just figured this out what's all these polishes in crap and everything on the internet for then and for sale in the you know Harley shop and the autozone and you know you're really is it really that easy so you know a little bit of elbow grease and you turn something nasty like that and something beautiful like that so that's my tip for you rpm out
