Listen, Porsche. If I'm paying near a quarter million for a 911 (I'm not) then I want my center console storage to turn into a cup holder at the press of a button. I'm not manually swapping plastic bits like a peasant.
Thank you for bringing back the old Doug Score format. I seriously did not like the new one
Good to have the old Doug Score back!
Never liked the cabs as much as the 911 coupes, but that's pretty sharp.
Anyone else think that these "pop out" and retracting door handles are just a fad?
I can't imagine they will be reliable long-term, and I don't understand their purpose.
The joker buttons that are programmable should be in all cars but since the climate controls are buried, every cabriolet buyer is going to assign one to climate. Having quick access to climate is essential when you're essentially outside. Also, where are the air scarves like other convertibles in this price range?
You have the choice between cup holder and phone flat spot. Just give the people a phone tray already.
What happens to the quarter windows if you have all 4 up and then go to roll a front window down? Does the rear also go down simultaneously?
Glad they have something for Sport Chrono to do when not logging lap times. So many questions from passengers about my 'broken clock'...
"That's my lap timer."
"Yes, really."
I thought it in your first video, Doug, and I thought it here: Are the door handles seriously as slow as you make them seem? It looks like there's a delay between putting your fingers under them and it popping out.
I've always been a big fan of the 911, but I honestly don't think I like this generation. It's getting too big, climate controls are a mess, that shifter looks so pathetically flimsy. I know these are all minor things, but each of them just speak to trends in the industry I strongly dislike.
i knew doug was gonna give this car a 69. i just knew. nice.
