Offers carbon fiber track package to save weight... you would think removing the subwoofer in the trunk would be a part of that package.
I mean if you are going to go as far as delete the rear seat...
This went up an hour early doug what's going on? Should I call the police?
So here's the funny thing about the exhaust modes.
Depending on where you life, there are noise legislation regulating maximum volume. So for instance, in Canada, your car cannot be louder than 83dB when tested according to SAE J1470: https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/c.r.c.,_c._1038/page-15.html#h-481094
So the reason why Ford calls it "track mode" and not "loudest mode" is because it is probably louder than the maximum allowed volume. Therefore, there's a small disclaimer in the user manual stating that you should only use track mode on the track.
Technically you can get fined with a stock exhaust. And that "my car is stock" is not an adequate defense in court.
lmao, who will be able to? not me
Look... no back seat that I have to cram into.
Look... I'm driving one with a back seat!
I feel cheated Doug!
Edit: So many swirl marks on a brand new car. :(
Pictures donβt do this justice. It looks mean as hell in person when I saw it at this years Detroit Auto show.
Sadly I was disappointed when I heard it weighs over 4000 pounds.
Edit: car I saw at the auto show
Pick yours up at the dealer for only 50K over msrp
Fyi those hood pins are likely functional. My GT350's hood will move more than I'd like when over 80 mph. The hood vents and the pins in the 500 are a welcome addition
I already see the price of used GT350s dropping faster then Enron stock.
