That Time St. John Was Faster St. Peter

good everyone welcome to Tik Tok Tuesdays my name is Matt that is Thursday and today we're going to be looking at a little Tik Tok video that he's chosen for us and uh all right I I feel like I'm not going to be impressed this one is pretty funny okay he's my neighbor I get a window from a glass he must get a window from a glass I get a step he must get a step I get a clo radio he cannot afford great success I understand any of what just happened have you seen have you are you familiar with that movie um I can't think of the name of the movie sash bear and Cohen um like the movie where the like the guy from Kazakhstan goes to America that's right and he like does it's like that one that was that's going to be bleeped and just say the No No Song is what that's going to say oh my goodness but there's this scene at the beginning where he goes this is my neighbor you know and it's like I get this you get like he must so and he's I go to America he can't go to America so it's like Peter like Peter I'm the disciple Jesus loved most Peter gets the keys to the kingdom I write some letters he has to write some letters we both run to the tomb I out running I see very good great success yeah yeah like the like just yeah it's a joke about John writing in his own Gospel that he was faster than Peter very good I that's very very good oh gosh you are so quick I'm so slow I'm only like only the end finding that's where that's where that verse is it's like John John and the other disciple John and Peter ran to the tombe but John outran him it's in John's gospel know how Peter felt when he read that like what you put that in there sorry dude what happened it would it's it it would still be funny if like Matthew or Mark or Luke had wrote it and it'd be like yeah he'd be like Peter reading it like John told you that yeah the fact that John himself was like writing this out it was like the one Jesus loved he also didn't have a problem with the confidence yeah yeah it's very I think it's that that verse I like that verse a lot because we in a lot of like modern Saints and by modern I mean like even like in the 1800s we're familiar with like them as like people you know what I mean like what they were like as people CU we have journals and Diaries and there was wider literacy but that verse is very evident that like even the disciples were people cuz like that is a detail that like like there are a lot of details that seem unnecessary but they actually attribute to The credibility or they attribute to like deeper meaning that one is literally just John being like I can't figure out what else that is besides John just being like flexing I'm faster than Peter and being like I should tell the entire world and what's even funnier is the gospels are divinely inspired so the Holy Spirit was like like that's also that's John having a sense of humor in in like his gospel and the Holy Spirit having a sense of humor in a book that he knew was going to be scripture I know we've talked about this and we probably disagree on it but I feel very uncomfortable when I watch people like Sasha Cohen and others making fun of people on the street especially when they're pretending not they're pretending to be somebody else and they make them look stupid I don't like that but then I think there's a lot less bad I feel less bad when the person being interviewed is clearly up for it and keeps talking to them I feel like okay now it's you you know there's a video camera I feel less bad when the person knows that it's like what it's for like the Sasha bar and con thing I think hits less well because it's like him putting people in situations they don't know they're in for a comedy movie yeah whereas like some of like the man on- the street Tik toks that we've talked about with like liberals getting interviewed and stuff like that it's like they know what this like they they ask what is this for and you go it's a it's a YouTube video yeah and then like you're doing this interview and the camera's not hidden and like you know that you're in a political debate and you're still saying these things I think there's a difference totally and and it and it I I also agree I think but I do think there's a difference between like laughing at somebody in the situation like where you're trying to trick somebody mhm and like laughing at the Ridiculousness of like somebody as an avatar so to speak for a larger societal thing you know what I mean like um like I mean the people who do like go to like the women's March like when Matt Walsh went to the women's March and what is a woman yeah and it's like you're not so much laughing at like the stupidity of a particular individual as you're like this is a real thing people think yeah you know what I mean yeah you don't respect women what is that that was so good yeah hey thank you so much for watching before you go do us a favor leave a comment let us know what you thought of the video like And subscribe
