Testing Netflix's breakable movie props

hi i'm josh i'm molly and today we're going to be reviewing the coolest destructible movie props you can buy oh my goodness i was not expecting that that's very realistic extremely realistic right ever since i was a little kid i always wanted to be a movie star but not for the fame and fortune i just wanted to smash up some of those awesome breakable movie props it turns out if you're a production company which we are you can actually buy a lot of these from netflix's uk studios it was just like that is the coolest thing i've ever seen purchase no no that is the coolest thing i've ever seen purchase right and i just kept going i spent so much money on this episode wait okay i got another surprise sleeping heck man in this season of jolly we've decided to uh each plan our own episodes without telling the other at all what's happening and so ollie just told me this was going to be a good one josh yeah are you ready i don't know oh my gosh oh my gosh crap oh my goodness you just put a hole in my door tell me that's not my actual door i've got an identical replica made what wow it's actually quite a lot firmer than i thought it was gonna be you took the actual door off the hinges to install this this is dedication on it yeah it should all be removable right what the heck oh oh it's really solid oh i know what we can use what this is a rubber baseball bat but it's actually pretty hard it really looks like what if i hit you with it why did i do that oh my gosh oh my goodness yeah [Applause] so freaking yes all right let me plan the episode in secret he says it'll be fun he says so i should say a lot of the stuff that we're testing out today is insanely fragile one of them when i took it out of the box literally just exploded into another one they are so fragile it's called sugar glass it's made from sugar yeah and it means that it just smashes oh do it do it oh this is what will be our guy at bar you start a bar fight yeah you punch my friend you're gonna come punch my friend oh i supposed oh my gosh it just shatters into like a million pieces very easily here try another one i'll try it more gently okay go for it oh i followed you it looks exactly the same but it's rubber [Laughter] it's rubber you've got some goodies in there all right but just be unbelievably careful oh this proper oil glass i would be able to doubt myself now how can we do this you could bite through that glass that sounds dangerous to me i just ran through a door i'm invincible are you okay yeah we're moving up the class okay level right here we've gone from a bar fight to like a ball fight can i smash over here a fancy ball fight audience i don't want you to read into this too much i know we've had a rough couple of months ago me and josh are definitely on very good terms let's be honest if anyone at home could do this they would hit me hit me that was a big one it's really satisfying thing is i'm beginning to question everything i've ever learned about bar fights because why would you want to be learning about bar fights taking notes if anyone looks at me the wrong way i'm going to be very well prepared this feels very sturdy what can i say which is an amazing movie star line i don't ollie this is gonna hurt are you sure this is smashing i'm not sure but let's give it a go you say what time is it charlie ollie what time is it it's tea time yeah are you sure you want me to smash this video for sure i died it takes a lot for me to get into the character really bad idea let's do it we got to do the line okay okay so don't forget to do that okay all right olly what time is it it's tea time oh my god oh my god holy moly that one that was so very different can you hear that yeah i think that was a real teapot so we've obviously had breakable glass yeah what if an actor needs to walk over shards of glass this would still be pretty painful it definitely would hurt yeah okay so we're talking like bruce willis die hard that is exactly the example that the website gave this is a plane of rubber glass rubber blah in order to make shards of glass yeah it's going to blow your mind huh just rips just oh isn't that crazy it's cool and then even the way it tears you see this right look at that little shape oh wow it really looks like you see the way that's teared it just looks like glass it's so cool man that to me looks like a window has smashed right i hear the sound effects we can do i don't know if this table's gonna hold your weight ah sound effects ah [Applause] there you go was that disturbing it does look very realistic you know oh yeah okay doesn't that there you go wow in a way it's acting it creates have you ever wondered how actors smoke so if you're not like really really close to the camera they give you one of these wow what's it taste like nothing look it comes with a usb charger nice so you plug it in and then a bunch of these little filters so that you can share it like we are doing we are definitely actors oh oh yeah maybe you're mixing a potion you would need a vapor mix effect a potion it's corrosive so uh a a feel like you don't really know what you're doing oh just a little bit okay oh my gosh that does not look safe it does look like smoke i want to do more man okay should be careful with oh no no no don't don't you don't want it to go everywhere wow so this is like it's forming a chemical reaction you can't really breathe with it though holy moly [Music] do not inhale the vapors wow okay that's correct we need to just make sure this door is shut okay no movie set would be complete without a wad of cash nice it says on the back for motion picture use only but it does look pretty legit that's the same as ten thousand dollars wow that crazy oh yes do it do it do it it's really hard quite hard to do that well oh my gosh stop stop smashing stuff that thing actually looks quite hard only the end of this is rubber that's that would help that would be pretty painful i mean i guess it's better than getting hit by a real hammer this is made by two guys in wales they are the country's leading producers of movie prop bricks wow this is a cinder block look and this these are hand painful oh i'm sorry they are hand painted wow wow these must have been expensive uh they weren't actually that expensive because i kind of made friends with the guys on the phone and i was like lying around not part of a huge shipment to a movie studio and they were like yeah i could put some in and then i got to snow ice and ash sample kit expanding snow oh does this expand if you put some water on it there's only one way to find out there is only one way to find out whoa that is so cool i've got one more surprise for you flipping egg how much stuff did you get you know i said i wanted to see if we could be movie stars today this is just a batman and robin halloween kid right we still got some stuff to smash and we could do it as batman and robin this is a lot less cool than everything else what do you mean this is arguably the coolest thing why am i robbing let me have this this is literally like a dream come true guys you just wanted to dress up as batman in a video yeah all right stan stand up stand up come on he's just gonna okay so you know the guy who made the replica door oh i also got him to make you robin have asked for a pay rise from me batman okay and i'm refusing and you'll live it and so when my back is turned i don't think that's quite the dynamic you smash this is very important that is not you need to smash across my back at this point okay ah i can't actually it's very impractical all right okay okay okay see set the scene robin you asked for a pay rise and my answer is no wow batman i'm robin and that makes me really angry well okay okay oh my gosh holy moly ah i'm really angry what do you think well we only get one take of that don't we ah flip ping heck i'm genuinely a lot worse that is easily the most insane episode we have ever filmed ollie i just uh well played thanks man well done oh wow i'm impressed that was oh batman just lost some brain cells oh my gosh look at this place look at your door all right that has Props to Ollie because that was a really entertaining video.

Whoever is doing the camerawork and color edits improved on the previous set. I like the more saturated look and the focus is clearer. It used to be so washed out and the focus wasn’t sharp. Good job to the entire crew because this is a strong comeback.
