it really is this is [Music] do [Music] so [Music] um well hello everybody i am with the mike sabo and the voodoo banshee and i am super excited because i am finally going to ride a banshee on the channel the main reason i haven't read a banshee is because everyone that i've had the opportunity to ride has a six inch plus long swing arm on it and this one actually has a minus one swing arm uh this has about 80 horsepower you said i would estimate uh from seat of the pants it gets after it man it it's pretty rowdy and it's super clean it's all done up if you guys want to see and end up an in-depth overview of this machine he has a full video build series on his channel so we'll be sure to link that down below all right one more thing we're gonna do before i ride it is mike is gonna give us just a small kind of comprehensive overview of you could say the heart of this thing believe it or not it's a stock more banshee but i basically did everything i possibly could to get everything out of a 350. from what i know 80 horsepower is about the most you can get out of a out of a stock war banshee so i did all the motor work myself and stuff you can see it's got the cpi pipes they're like basically a drag pipe they're more for top end but you get a little bit of the down low and it's just a great power plant for power really but it can get away from you as pete's going to learn here in a second the rest of the chassis you'll see it's really narrow it's stock width in the front and rear and then like pete said it is brought in in the rear so i wanted the footprint to be really tight so we have a good turning radius and everything which is really fun but uh practicality wise it's hard to be competitive with this because it just the power's just gnarly it's hard to control so it's a fun machine man you're gonna like it i mean overall it was built to be a trail quad maybe if it had a little less horsepower be a little more realistic if you want to build it up so much i think if uh if i if i extended it out just a little bit more and maybe made it a little bit lower and change the pipes and stuff so the power comes on a little bit earlier it could be better it could definitely be better it's definitely one of a kind you can't see it but it's just like inside right now my heart is just going i'm like i'm tingly so all right we're gonna get some uh nice close-up shots of this and then uh i'm gonna very carefully ride it around so just get her up into those hours man oh man up in the r's what does uh a banshee even rev to is it like 8 000 holy moly ten five i'm so scared of this thing the seat is just mega it's almost like a desert seat uh it's in neutral there's no indicators there's no key no oh there's attack okay wow [Applause] no way dude i have never felt that man that is all crazy all right i can't even describe that [Music] whoa that is the definition of a light switch right now i'm just really glad you got on it oh i'm gonna get on it but i had to see what it would do like i got like crazy adrenaline right now yeah and i was only on it for a minute what's insane is how easy the power is like it feels so light like it's like hard to describe i mean i'm so used to a four stroke there's a no no engine breaking right with it so that's different too it feels so free yeah that's what i was saying get used to the brakes because you can see it doesn't really want to stop i saw you had them locked up yeah and everything works everything is really crisp i've never felt anything really so effortlessly i mean i think the one was in third i was kind of dogging it because i had no idea what gear i was doing fourth you just got to get it in there well i can imagine one that i've watched uh hellcat channel banshee and his was just insane watching him rip wheelies with that i mean just every shift and you can tell he's not pulling he's not doing anything and then yeah just lift and lift and lift him yep in the corners where you're bogging a little bit that's because it's been doing that since the water got in it if you clean it out a couple times and give it a little clutch pop it'll be a little smoother that's just going to take some time to get used to i'm scared of it but on a respect level it's not like it's it's not ridable all right we'll try it out i'll ride it a bit more here and we'll see what you think but that is like full on cloud9 giddy like a little kid like that is that is insane madness man the rear brake's really great too [Music] [Music] this is a rollercoaster without a track man that soaks it up the shocks are epic through the little transitions in this field just a missile dude it is just a missile i don't know how else to describe it [Music] [Music] this thing is insane man there is no keeping the front end down oh i'm speechless i need a break oh oh i thought i was in neutral i'm arm pumping really bad from the clutch it's not like you're fighting it but you are like it's it's like a battle you know but you want to ride it smooth here i'm watching you like do the power wheelies and whatnot and i'm just like i'm not gonna do that well it does it like you aren't doing anything special it's that's just what it does is it man it is a trail build so i should go ride it on the trail who knows maybe it'll get a little fun after a little while um hmm [Music] on the trail and i'm in first gear oh man it is crazy it's a little tippy body positioning is important it's not the tightest trail but there's not a lot of room in here either i'm so not used to how the two strokes work and build power it is so foreign to me wow there's something cool about it being pretty close to stock geometry it just goes once it goes man man the clutch is it's a hard pull so i'm getting fatigued on my left forearm with some arm pumps [Music] this is pretty fun if the clutch pull is a little smoother be a little less fatigued gotta get it up in the arms oh man i'm getting tired riding this i think we're gonna give this thing back i've had my crazy voodoo experience i'm not the best at the low rpms it's way smoother than my 400 ex i'll tell you that the shocks and everything eating up all the roots and stuff very smooth it wants to kind of come up on two wheels in a few spots i just can't help but feel like i'm failing miserably at low rpm with it the way i mean it needs to be in that sweet spot but i'm scared to put it on the edge of the sweet spot when i'm in corners and stuff i had one corner where it just it went a little sooner than i thought if you hit the power slide just right you're at the right rpm and everything it is sweet that is really fun and it's like even if it's not going to be the most efficient most practical thing to ride the fun factor is totally there yeah i wanted it to be comfortable which i mean sitting on it it is and i wanted it to be fun i think if you get the clutch pull well it's already got gotten better it is just a hard pull in general though is that because of the lockout clutch it's a lot better when the cable's clean yeah well other than that it's like a snowmobile kind of like just yeah just just the power like you have that that fun factor of this crazy amount of power i mean it doesn't weigh very much it's sub 400 pounds i want to say right like 385 or something yeah it's around there yeah so i mean it's just a missile and it can do that stuff i will say i was coming through like the pine section it seemed like the rear i don't know if it's just too squishy it was kind of bottoming out a little bit through there but better than i expected on the trail which is cool that was an experience thank you you are welcome let's get off of this thing i've had oh you need the
