Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Not gonna lie, that original "lights up at the cool stuff" look on your face that all car guys have is still there in all your videos and that makes you wonderfully relatable.
u/Doug-DeMuro did you like your 996
Okay be honest how much time did you spend playing with all the doors. Sweet music by the way!
Oh my god it's like they actually had someone competent design the UI for the infotainment system unlike almost every other one I've seen.
How come the front boot opens without a key? Is that all the time?
After the controversy from the other /u/doug-demuro video, I thought this could spark another interesting conversation!
The Interior kills this car for me. Similar priced BMWs, Mercedes, etc. Have much better interiors for the money. I know you are getting full electric driving and other random features, but the interior feels like one out of a $30,000 car not a $100,000+
I think it would be badass if Tesla made a Model S and/or Model X Superlight edition, without all the fancy electronics or door motors or heavy sound deadening, just the basics and the electric motors. Imagine how friggin mind-numbingly fast they would be.
How does the giant center console screen not look like shit when used daily? Is it coated with something that prevents finger prints, smears, and smudges?
Also, i am really curious what resale value will look like in 5-10 years, there is no way all of the electric features will stand the test of time. The model X will probably depreciate like a rock once electric minivans/crossovers become more common.
