Terminator: Dark Fate rant, breakdown and review with Jay, Metal, SmilerAl and JLongBone

I'm so excited to talk by the way my internet might randomly cut out at any time at any point it's okay we don't really need you cut yourself out but out of life okay I for 20 seconds and nobody's notified yeah what is YouTube get on your [ __ ] get on with it I can't see you Australia channel just popped up for me hello there everyone what the whole Oh God I mean you gotta sound excited because this movie's gonna be was great what are you talking about they're not playing by any rules with this I'm upset that Jay would even cry and s this movie was okay yeah also the saddest not perfect everywhere dream I stabbed by default yes that's the first thing we need to discuss there were too many women Oh doesn't answer my question but I saw that there was a whamon on the poster and then another one and then another one that is that the ball two of them are even pre-established women through yeah love the part where it's like oh no it's not some man it's Hugh he said okay we shouldn't they made Sarah Connor sexist so that they could make the point that the movie wasn't sexist we mean the fact that she was like Sarah Connor automatically assumed that it was going to be some man so they made her sexist so they could be like no we the filmmakers are not sexist art doesn't have nice anger hand it can be some anyone didn't turn to Denton that pre-established character trait with Sarah Connor was sexist he's a strange one in this film in terms of just what's going on there she made me hate her so quickly like her so badly well she was amazing in T twos I guess yeah I was gonna say the only reason why she oh I won't be talking about that we call we're gonna go in straight in all these well this is the thing it's gonna be confusing I guess we'll try and do talking about the film from start to finish scene by scene yeah there'll be some things we'll want to talk about as like a matter in terms of a lot of things going over from beginning to end like a character's yeah I was gonna jump into some videos cover what happens like 2/3 into the way um well I guess hang on to actually all of you pull up a notepad if there's anything you want to say but you feel like oh it might be it just how about that the chat is not on stream there's still no that's good point yes said that like five minutes ago what you ignored me come out by that like you know just do you give it at its end three now would you give it a 10 yeah I agree three how'd you get I don't know for bold for I'm so many folks my well I could have a Genesis at 2:00 or 3:00 so it's gonna be above Genesis by at least one point maybe yeah yeah Genesis is and I can move arable that's fine yeah III I'm not only concerned this is above Genesis but not above anything below anything else I feel like saying I've not seen it will will make me earn points yeah people be like oh you didn't see a good job yeah I guess pretty bad but it was not as bad as we expected only says it's the one x is because there's no point in repeating it million times but uh this we're gonna spoil the whole film talking about it that's a good thing nobody should read no way about that but if you want to see it without spoilers then don't watch this stream it's also in the title I have done everything I can to prevent you world of this very good movie but one boiler title instead of spoilers so there's only gonna wear only right to spoil one there is one spoiler and it is for the whole movie anyway apparently because cinemas empty as [ __ ] yeah the cinema was really quiet oh yeah people in mind three other people than you Wow that's how the people in me if they this is an you not didn't you this was like like two emulator for on this unlike and this is like the sequel to two maybe three like these like you know like they were trying to go for all I'll to really but if he was like the fourth actual one then there's been this long since the last one I think it would like have a bigger turnout but you're gonna be absolutely wonderific yeah well I'll be exist yeah I woulda guessed it would make money this film I don't know maybe won't will suffer I was made aware that apparently they wanted to make a trilogy out of this Oh God and with how it ends and see how that's possible with them preventing Legion apparently yeah all right yes so there's gonna be a lot of people in this audience who don't care to see this film they're gonna want a plot summary but we'll go Hurley I mean 40 million opening weekend it's not bad I that's probably good enough to make it's my back is it probably costs like I don't say 200 million oh that that's not it's money back no but it's indicative that it will make its money okay maybe I don't know so the film begins I don't know if anyone's got comments on each of these things but I have to have summer but while they're showing us the opening credits sort like you know who made this film produces companies and stuff they're into splicing it with the video from t2 where Sara's talking about how the world's going to end which was ranged mm-hmm and it felt really like hey remember tenacious you remember every [ __ ] scene is like hey remember Terminator 2 it's a remake of James gonna say it's a dragon that there's not much at all in terms of references even 8:01 by Kyle Reese isn't mentioned at all no yeah this mainly is just it how many two was the one that I'm stupid um yeah I guess using that video I don't know insisted to me or just like I don't get to my nostalgic fans you gonna although with their worth but it's also supposed to I guess be a message from the narrative beings at a I think they stop Skynet well maybe they did that's the thing they took the going for that with this one in the other films they were like nah Skynet can come back in was different ways in this film they're like no no they killed it but another thing happened so sort of thing that I've not seen tell me too that recently is it could you interpret from 272 to that they actually stopped Skynet in the events of that film uh yeah well the idea is that they stopped so debonair one was supposed to be a closed loop as in Al Ries comes back to save Sarah from a Terminator that was sent back to kill her in in and thus creates John Connor who eventually phase Humanity in the forces she was a closed loop you know well to me to is not that's the point of Terminator 2 it's it's trying to save them this time when they came back instead of just protecting John they're also going to find a way to stop Skynet from ever happening in the first place um and they do but the reason because what happens in t2 they try and argue the instead of it happening in any way that it was going to it happens sooner because they have access to the Terminator arm and the CPU if you remember from t1 yeah and then they stopped that making it happen when it was gonna happen anyway before right I thought their point was that stopping that I'm blowing up Cyberdyne and deleting all of whatever they essentially stopped it and it was supposed to be a positive message about how you can control if they everyone keeps saying I'm cutting out I'm looking at my mic levels doesn't show them that you're fine well you wouldn't hear the same thing they get it through OBS you get it through discord am i still cutting out let me check at or am i fine cursing out even more out someone said he hears me perfectly fine so that leaves us with the end of the story t2 is like hey not only did we actually stop Skynet assassination attempt but we also ended you know there is no favor what you make you stopped Judgment Day as well and that's why she says it in this film and that's why in t3 when they were like lawl Judgment Day happens regardless it's like I'll [ __ ] off like [ __ ] you that's why everyone was pissed at e3 because t3 was just we wants to continue the franchise and then t4 people were less pissed because it was like a new take on try and do the war part which what everybody wanted to see anyway and then Genesis happened and that pissed off everybody more than ever like literally deleting films and humiliating or trying to humiliate the older films [ __ ] line who says yo you're a relic from a deleted tabloid you know yeah baby Alex Bell watch that the night before last no before we went to see yeah wasn't it for last yeah what an ironic line considering what's happened now the film that says lawyers you suck gets deleted from catted but our fate is decided okay yes yes they stopped Skynet that did happen you're like okay and it's like but something else comes along which is having a cake and eating it I guess and like the better call so love movies like hey Breaking Bad stuffed it totally stopped but we're also going on it's like wait what yeah I think for me Genesis is like the sequel that no one asked for and then this is just like and that's another variation of it it's just like they did it I don't know what they do in what what's the plan really going this and you're saying like this there's a punishing money I know I thought we'd be that cynical straight off the bat probably with me explaining the first scene we get I guess I'll just give it summary no shut up I could do someone else for a 5-10 minutes let me get the old Terminator twos finished it's in the bag everything's great then apparently all we know is Sarah Connor goes to a beach with John and they look exactly the same as at the end of t2 essentially just chillin the chilly John looks like he's gone to get an ice cream or something ro and his and his chill out day and then Sarah's like got a beer Erin's going great and then on he just shows up and shoots John three times of the shotgun he dies yay and Sara's like upset obviously and Ani throws her away that he just walks off is that he's done the Machine has terminated its target no that's it that's our welcome to Terminator 3 technically because they'd want to call it that if they could I guess I don't know if there's a little thing but if someone gets numbers these days like people wave reverse subtitles instead of thing I think it looks they're embarrassed when you have like you know numbers like up to like seven sixes like mama go like you know okay okay gets a bit absurd eventually doesn't it um honestly it's a little bit like rule as well he shoots John once and then he walks up to him and double taps him with talkin again and it's like wow really you know you want to tell the audience he definitely did make it you're like yeah I get it that is edward fair logs up to contribution to this film by the way actually in it well i think they would have modeled young john after his face i don't know if they filmed a scene where he did it in like some kind of flores which really for grating right he's don't I oh that that scene alone there's like three or four scenes that make me hate the film not as many as Genesis but that's one of them it's just like it's such a middle finger mm-hmm hey but without that seen the film wouldn't be able happen wouldn't it though can you just have John John yeah yeah the next up on you terminated not terminate a hero owns in on a bagel something and kills policeman oh yeah okay yeah I guess we'll just speed through this [ __ ] so like she's unconscious our heroine and police show up because she like I guess she [ __ ] everything up on like a highway um and they're like yo what are you doing but then they they aim guns are there that gives you a reason enough to essentially kill them or like I don't I don't know that she kills any of them but she [ __ ] woods the [ __ ] out of I don't think she cares no I don't think she cares either I get that impression throughout the film and I think that the we're supposed to believe that she believes that this is all to save the world to doesn't matter I get behind that to be fair hmm like if an equivalent movie came out where she didn't save the world because she wanted to let some policeman have a fighting chance I'd be like [ __ ] off the yeah and she takes some people's clothes and she a standard sort of to grow though she's got enhancements looks like a person from art and he like and scan [ __ ] I don't even really know to put it yeah get a view of her eyes every once in a while and she looks anne's the crap out of it she has he's been next he has zoomin enhances a very useful it is for spotting crashing drones go get it was just a hypothetical it wasn't anything to do with that actually happens in the film but then we meet our protagonist I forget her name grace no no terminator yeah not that the not terminator oh-oh-oh Danny right yeah her full name is like didn't and yellow is it Danny we'll call it Danny [ __ ] you're cutting out again more we have to get old close to my microphone I guess there you go no look a lot so Danny the wonderful Danny is seen being kind to lost different people she's sorting out her family's life she like helps her dad get things in order and gets her brother to do this that and the other like we're right in the wick cuz he's late and make sure her dad gets her pills the films way of being like she seems to be pretty good when it comes to being a leader if you may if you may say what do you guys think yeah it's kind of like a little thing about that she's gonna give birth to someone important that sexist that you automatically assume it's to do with birth J well that's what we're in a for oh no my goodness the views of a X I do not reflect the views of F up before father um which takes us to they're going to wick I think um just like some industrial plant and then they make a big deal about how yeah her brother at the car fight like robots replacing humans hmm just like that so [ __ ] up I guess the because there's a lot of random bits of commentary in a matter census yeah yeah I don't know but all of its really thin though there's like it's not much to say about it just like yeah there's automation is replacing worker jobs that's a thing that happens and um and they're like no bad I don't know if it's also trying to say something about the machines in general the the terminator law machines I think they just felt clever for including it because it was thematically relevant to the events of the film machines try to kill humans and machines replace humans in real life and look it actually happens in real life we're not that far off the terminators there many are coming for us almost trying to warn us oh yeah of course and new Terminator man arrives - is it always a thing that it freezes things around it when they teleport no that's like a new like special effect yeah yes before he was just like the electrical your most lightning and burned stuff I mean literally burnt things into a bundle things go through time like this one as well but for some reason it freezes it and I don't know why yeah it's Genesis I was that one where when like a car drives through the the bubble or wherever or it just like melts instantly yeah so it gets a bit more creative different each time well this is this isn't a Skynet technology now it's region technology so maybe it freezes everything around it because that's just a thing that it yeah if it works pretty much exactly save it every other about meaningful way so oh it was so cool like evil terminator kills Danny's dad and then takes his takes his face takes body and the whole thing because he's a he's like the Terminator 3 terminator except this time he can like duplicate himself he's got like a core that's a terminator and then goopy goo that can out and determine if you've seen the trailer you know we're talking about that's the film all new to you know that they were like how do we make a cool new Terminator we've done liquid we've done liquid and solid put together how about liquid and solid but they can come away from each other I mean a gas Terminator I quite liked the tit in town and I liked the tit enhancement Terminator from t 300 but it's worse 31,000 I still love it at this point that they don't bother to explain why they only ever said one simulator back like you know they covered it in the first one they've made it so much worse yeah they suggested that they send loads of terminators like you know I guess none of them find it it's relevant to what we're currently talking about is it though is it yes and we are not almost there that's like halfway through the film at least I can trust like almost in the sense that I'm isn't linear I'm travelling through the events of the film that's what happens when something had a sequence like both the what do we call the good terminator grace no well yeah I said it not a name I guess Susan brace if people are gonna remember who we were even talking about when I say that so I think good to me you say the you know the old mint is human but as long-winded I'm the Augmented the good the good guy - idiot dr. berty is Provost what she is she's she gets to the workplace oh yes she brothers being fired as well the main characters Danny's brother and she's like and fire him he needs to be here and it's just like all right yes showing that she stands up for people as well got to get them actor istic sin before you try and explain that she's a leader of humanity and stuff me and then evil Terminator gets their job and that's trying to kill everybody [Music] II so he has a lunch bag but he's holding a gun underneath I think well in because I gotta make this clear he can't make complex machines or guns or anything out of his goop Hey Oh [ __ ] actually holding that gun because I I thought that he actually make forms like I swear it showed him forming that gun and I was like what the [ __ ] is it looks like a spoon he's definitely holding it before he does that Oh understand yeah I'll go with that well this is they never get him to spawn guns ever again that's why I thought it was such a huge problem like I would I would be okay with them changing the rules like okay he could born weapons like the guns never does it again for the rest of the film like okay but there was somebody opportunities where he just like each chose deliberately to you would like to form his hands into like you know spiky well Spears or whatever yeah and then there's like a gun would have just been better and more efficient and as a robot you should just being able to go on you know like instance like pinpoint accuracy bang dead but no you know he like holds the bag up for the Sun at one point and you can see what looks like a trigger behind the bag right at the top I think he's holding the gun the whole time yeah so yeah he picked up a gun before Harland where did you get it with him yeah I don't know don't think they showed it though he says he says bonus tears to the illusion I behold the policeman's uniform it's okay like how unintentionally funny the scene where he drops down naked from like the middle of the building and sees a random woman there say it's honest yes I don't know what the world it's such a weird thing with villains in Terminator because the whole idea is that obviously they they are machines they don't actually have any kind personalities weight would eat whatever they speak I'll do anything I'm always just trying to figure out how how that helps them with a mission us yeah like it always has to be a pragmatic thing so him just being like hello it's just like I guess that's just to try and don't cause any trouble with regular people so he thinks that dropping out of the sky fully maked entering old [ __ ] and this is gonna be grabbed out of the sky in this because form like spikes or like a spike in the fight in the industrial place one that basically there are several times in the film he has a chance why can he just throw a spear that he can make of him elf I'm not I can reference Genesis that they do that but maybe that doesn't count it's not an ax now but like logically he would be able to do that placement I don't see why can't ya just throw the thing also dropping the M the heavy weight on him remember the brother does that yeah what isn't the GU just immediately come off the body start attacking at me because Phil like he's she's like that won't take him down for long it's like shouldn't take him down at all and she should know that because she's fought like a million of these things well she used to say like 12-gauge shotgun or wherever to take him down initially it was like well if I couldn't do that a car dropping on it was like you have enough force to do something mmm but and it's yeah why couldn't just you know my mold out and just slip it away on that he gets better at being a rev 9 which is what he's called later in the film earlier in the film he's kind of mayor like I should cease well decently done though to be fair what do you mean like I would say the way they were choreographed yeah I didn't know I didn't notice anything horrific ly bad I thought that the choreography was good just a like very visceral action scene oh well I have criticisms of not less the choreography more the decisions of the characters in terms of bite yeah yeah they do stupid things but the way like the way all the action flows together very nice also hello Ned erotic he said what is more complicated editor what is more complicated a human body or a gun and infinity he doesn't like copy a whole human body does the issue the outsider yeah if you cut him he's still just met like um body doesn't have any gunpowder and I'm powder and moving but he can't make moving cause yeah chemicals they never say that he can't do that I don't think does she say he can't do that like what I'm suggesting is that we don't see him do it so we assume he can't but um I mean guns and stuff yeah like he must be there yeah so if he could he obvious absolutely oh do you remember this Cupid positions in this film if there's more than one instance of this but she has spider sense the other not terminator protector person she yes he goes oh [ __ ] and looks to the left and then this he bursts through the wall yeah I thought that was with the truck yeah this is I don't remember any other instances of heavens biosensing [ __ ] up like they got the clips in the wrong order like it was supposed to pass through first and that [ __ ] doesn't say that she has like super hearing or whatever was like it's because you AV like she read it in history book no no but you can spot you wave either like yeah xx4 how far the sky and then you but she could see that she had a clear line of sight of that the truck will say she'll see four walls or whatever like four I don't see her being able to see through walls like well it was a smash through a Walden so that's how she's that's how they portray nerd like she'd look melted and came through and you argue is a hearing thing doesn't establish that at all she runs off a whole bunch of features does she say something about hearing yeah that's my man yeah so there's some rumbling coming towards the wall that must be yeah she she clearly assumed very accurately from the sound alowed what he was driving at what was about to happen oh I don't remember doing it again but yeah that's what you do so then there's a car chase by a long one you know because Tiffany - yeah and then we could probably something's up pretty fast actually it's just like it just way it goes lots of explosions lots of crashes and then he works and runs away until the Terminator pretty much [ __ ] him up completely kills the brother I think it was kind I thought they were gonna let him die in the Tim's of like he sits there and slowly bleeds out something but he just gets blowed up because [ __ ] drive into it was like oh brother like it's not horrendous Adelphia is like a [ __ ] thing spike through his chest like run away and you just [ __ ] crash that's probably a better death like I would rather blow up and die slowly from a spike through my chest yeah everyday yeah like suicide bombed they made my car yeah it like disables the Terminator for adhesive on a tire but it's like wow I really wet all about that why was the chair just jump out the second he's about to do it so he's like active I think he's like really sloppy it for us it still has execution time every time he tries to kill them he like he doesn't get a clear shot bother about that he's like okay I'm here I'm near them I'm just gonna fire my weapons in their general direction and hope it is and that's totally not gonna broadcast that I'm here and they're totally not gonna have time to escape honestly I don't know why they just don't make the terminators like be rigged up so like they could just self-destruct like make a huge explosion all it goes is like one like this that would make sense yeah they wouldn't be able do anything and then plus there's no evidence I just I had well it's all blown up that did they leave no evidence but um there was a thing in the car chase where I feel like they cut out loads of stuff that it would have been good to see like they did the quick cut stuff there was a point I remember where what's the fate grace was doing a maneuver like around like like the the entrance door highway she was like what was it reversing up that or something but they don't show her like turning into it they just cut from like her being like threatened by the bulldozer to her going up the ramp you don't actually see like the important steps between one to a to be after it and because yeah like yeah and and fairly confidently cut out like important things that you would need to see to understand like the flow of the action scene in that pissed me off okay yes that's happening cool so yeah for me I was going to say just for me when I was happening off I was like more just disinterested because like our yeah there's just well they're just emulating another term later film because they can't think of to do anything else you know with with the war materiel gonna be great once they work with like so he forms up you know the the the GU vision forms up the Tim and al then he has like clothes that like wave in the wind and stuff I mean this applies to the t1000 I guess as well but I'm just curious how does that work yeah special special GU yeah Oh either way they get close they were like one of you wanting the debonair without a car the brothers dead and then as you saw in the trailer sara coney ends up boots him with the short gun until he falls off the bridge and she RPGs or whatever's whatever things she has into blows a bell vision rather than the vision and then he's metal yeah he made it in hospital but we connect Wi-Fi and so she looks over the edge and he's like clearly impaled and burning and she's like Rosic Rene down to him and then just like I'll be back did you remember that line from a good film yeah they did they do this a lot and this soulmate like that they repeat lines or they like you know do variations of the line or you know others like this is a whole this is a homage or a [ __ ] take the piss I can tell and like I hated like dick pic for as well but what's for the delivery we'd like our back he like kind of like delivery for Iron Age is that kind of she doesn't seem like she wants to be there hmm yeah only she did but I'd be willing to believe the shoot well a check is a paycheck can we can we acknowledge her sad face anyone else oh I I did to Alex about this the seed was she's both big because of we did it's a bit of a jump ahead we'll have to wait but I'll say it up I'm sorry I could just see like how making that face literally just that face looks to me like I had to write to him just sent area you don't really sad along with that be offended why are you sad Rex everybody died with a movie not good bad goddamn masterpiece [Music] so we were yes so Sarah goes and tries to kill him she just like I don't know what her plan was because she knows what t1000 is like she walks down to the guy who's like covered in goo and d-forming whatever in an explosion she's walks down there with a shotgun like yeah you just planning this issue at it repeatedly like yeah also what's that her what's that her kill box for the scenario kill box Killing Floor 2 so this this is simultaneously like buddy and stupid so like if someone tins up and saves your life while some homicidal maniacs try to kill you just leaves their car it's kind of like yes take their car Sara like looks up to the bridge and she's like oh [ __ ] I think I think this is a total issue for out the film by is it like try to be serious or dog because not jumping ahead it gets goofier know the film really wants to have fun while also trying to he's super important yeah one-liners like it's goofy like scenes fruit like you know in an entirety my whole body is a weapon I'm sorry about your shed well yeah what I forgot the whether the the rev 9 said about the shed oh yeah Shh right now figure out how interesting is bad so wait did anyone else want us anything so is gonna just move on to the next thing Sarah Connor at this point wasn't terrible yet but we were getting like the seeds mmm she was in character as her terrible self you don't realize who she is so Sarah's just left on the highway while they drive to they drive to a pharmacy because not terminator has been augmented she's not a terminator human who has augments like what does that mean it means that they're stronger and faster and have regenerative abilities and the senses but they also die if they get into a fight with about five minutes mm-hmm yeah so much energy because they go sort of like high-functioning metabolism wherever that like if they're not if they haven't killed the Terminator in like 7 minutes or less you know they're dead kind of figure though now in fairness to the film him didn't it say that like they could essentially configure their metabolism so that for like any tax that they predict they're gonna do so she said it to be super high so that make because she predicted she was gonna kill it in the first five minutes or not at all don't know but just going to me it's just a little like and the Catholic for Grace's character so that she can't always be doing the same thing every scene you know it didn't even really matter that much ya know and they raided the pharmacy and all the drugs that she dumped into herself it's like the most confusing [ __ ] ever ever why she needs that specifically as opposed to like you know if it's energy why not food you know why not just pop to McDonald's or some [ __ ] you know do they actually establish the he chose for it to be that way because she hoped to kill the Terminator within the five minutes I think so I'm gonna have to watch it again to make sure is I don't remember that I swear is more like the element surprise you know it's a you know you spring on them and you attack them and you just do everything yeah yeah you like get rid of it someone else made it for her but someone made it always [ __ ] anyway yeah he's doing a [ __ ] defensive mission she's she needs to escort Danny and protect her but she can only do it for five minutes if she doesn't fight other things and then Danny who was woefully unprepared for any of this then has to protect her it's like what a [ __ ] rescue mission and like from my perspectives I think they got it backwards like oh we need to be at Short bits of powerful energy it's like no no long bits of edia management are you ready are you ready for people to argue that Danny knew exactly what was gonna happen when she sent grace back so it all makes sense because Danny knew that it was all gonna work out when she did it like that well you say that again so Danny future Danny remembers all of this happening right he saw people are gonna argue that everything that happens make sense because Danny knew that it all worked out so she sent grace with all of the stupid handicaps because she knew that that would make so well work I'm not following sorry so basically what he's saying is that um as much as you can say it's stupid that grace may have been sent with all of these handicaps you can't say it's that stupid because Danny knew that it would work if she lived it you know oh but I would argue that that's dubbed because [ __ ] still ads of diet grace is like baby with another power source yeah a backup power source that'd be pretty good all said to do with that device she can she can little Badgett sure ever didn't wear love it into a badger a badger yep this is my shove it into a badger is one of my biggest criticisms of Tim and error as a whole show into a hole you know shove it into a badger a badger hole yes the Badgers hole so think about this Jay you're a you're the terminators and you're like right this em back on Ian Timoney oh one a should we send him with one of our advanced tray weapon guns and it's like no no no I can't do that because being has to be covered in skin and you know they could just generate the skin that they have been for terminators this whole time just hold like he has literally a skin handbag and the gun in there I'm just encouraged honestly like I'm putting it out there maybe you don't have time you go okay grab a badger grab a badger and just shove it into its ass there you go the badge will protect it needs to be a badger okay children's work either yeah be the wood work a lot of different things with work honestly like it's notjust funny the fact that when the Terminator has made the well the Tim Lee is that infiltrates with the human skins or ever they made that and then made a time machine and then it just so happened that they had to have human this'll be a but then she gets her rejection and she dies you forgot that too dude it's like a rewrite of something and they just because it literally serves no purpose to the story right they even have her keep like the syringes the she keeps having those four contrived reasons like ideas like you dropped this for the office of the plane and like Oh what that was guys who searched it he didn't take it yeah yeah the scene where she gets detained like oh you really [ __ ] up this surgeon you look she's got two syringes oh wow I wonder she has those poverty you walk in says to you how do you not search for that crossing the border jumper to their head with if you go back to when grace hazard treatments in the hotel so they they get it not again motel because that's in every Terminator film to know what's their solution to treat this [ __ ] Augmented human not not a nice not a nice bath but a nice bed bath I sped yeah but have you seen the bathtub yeah and then they dumped her in there all on there and then they just injected with every [ __ ] piece well every with with the drug yeah I don't we're just assuming these dosages like well we know are there this one killer is like let's give it a little bit of every normal medicines that peep take probably won't kill her but I missed it insulin is in there definitely overdose on the head well enough to overdose on lady she just shove it all in yeah and the powerful thighs like what's most insulin for Auliya too low her blood sugar is like what did she have like a really heavy meal no she just [ __ ] if anything she's expelled to energy she neat she needs to eat not [ __ ] lower sugar level I don't know how that works no no it doesn't and [ __ ] neither well they didn't care to explain how it worked because they just they eyeballed it and they just well they just work because at the next scene she's walking now he's just like you know oh we saved you tada crisis averted and Sarah turns up I don't really know how she found them accordionist you knew where the time travel happen - no no no I'm talking about when she turns up with a pharmacy oh yeah oh okay yeah okay we can I just bring up right what would change in this film if you removed Sarah completely um I mean plot-wise nothing really you just have all of her fighting moments have to go to somebody else yeah she was injure character-wise I mean as I'm sure someone would argue that Sarah goes on some form of a journey in this film no she doesn't she doesn't have a [ __ ] on I guess well guess of that doesn't grow out all she talks about the tropes of the film that she expects to be in and then the film subverts it by not doing that and then that's it makes us stupid so that it can be like a no with Sarah's being down also she says she can't be tracked because she keeps her phone in a packet of crisps and then throws Danny's phone out of the window yeah which wouldn't prevent that from being brags no sorry I doesn't on II say at one point but like keeping it in a packet Chris doesn't do [ __ ] if you keep it enlightening right in the crisp bag keep it in a crisp bag that's what he says well the implication being the cracker every time she yeah I'm done send the text messages to you know give her about the steerer to a path forever enough I didn't know that foil could actually do what she says it does well are we assuming that it can and we assuming that the film is right here I guess I think we should assume that look you just be a quick google we could find out so when you go like aluminium or silver in the walls like for insulation or other things that can affect whether the mobile signal which is why I like you soon buildings we've like in certain parts with walls like that you can get your [ __ ] with your signal so yeah if you just into my phone in that it will do that so okay can we talk about how they characterize Sarah Connor as a complete [ __ ] for no reason in this film don't you get it she's lost John would have to be a good shape to get you don't mean they should just [ __ ] do anyways because it's very [ __ ] effective well yeah it is and they get attacked by real guides regularly apparently let's relieve that there like in the crisis scenario right now they have the technology to make augmented humans don't you think like a [ __ ] ton of people like yeah [ __ ] yeah what we all know would you like as well the I thought they would go for sort of like this just this injection I'm thinking it [ __ ] with you you biology completely people only do it when they're on their death battle that explosion made her finally go that's it always remember the scene of the surgery it's right after it's like just flashes of like a doctor looking at here and then flashing but looking at here on a table like I almost I would almost worth at that scene wasn't in my cut that I saw but like I never see why that would happen so I guess she's such a blank slate as a character's you don't understand half the [ __ ] she [ __ ] does Elgar also what's with the rev nines in the flashback having like tentacles alright no guy doesn't have tentacles yeah like our guy should have 10th book I guess our guys mostly disguised as a human for like a lot of the time but he's not girls the rest of the time handicaps himself they were really effective as well ya know the the a stab that's what led here to getting the org beds everything yeah by Tentacruel tearing and cutting the augments it's very well that's what I be that's what we know about it is our the augment cyborg bent it down it's like it makes you Opie enough to be able to kill to it is but only for five minutes and then you die you think that's why they have that the only five minutes thing used to try and make us go oh that's why not everyone gets it that's why there's really no plot significance to not everyone having it yeah I don't think they said Oh everyone in the future is augments didn't be fine yeah even then we still believe that as opposed to pocalypse because you saw what I can what I can go ahead it's much more problematic to send back someone who needs constant care and constant like sustenance like I don't do this I'm gonna die in five minutes they did a better job sending back a regular human thirty [ __ ] years ago oh god you know if I don't if I don't have my blood sugar up like I'm goes a little bit to the core the power core which isn't necessarily I got anything to do with bad girl powerful let's look at it from a different perspective contagion what are they using in their in their future where everything is [ __ ] to bring them back to life or to functionality I don't think they have like a lot of antibiotics said yeah it's surprisingly now there's kind of technology and and yeah they're supposed to be able to maintain people with all these kinds of medicines and post-apocalypse Wow like that like what one sentence it's like oh yeah we can't use them all around because we don't have enough meds to keep them alive with the well when they did the whole surgery of Graces or Quincy like you saw like the resources they had like it didn't look apocalyptic at all look no like what just Olympian future yeah you're right they have like spider fly things they have lots of like little things like but they don't really like add up to anything it's just like flavoring that they don't really care to explain or give a [ __ ] about like I was on one hand they say everything just stopped working at some point like the [ __ ] plane crash yeah on day one it's like everything turns out for parents instead of nukes being launched last details and then day three is more ones cut the power who did it are [ __ ] it let's just kill everyone good job because yeah what we're saying is nothing makes sense in this movie the fact that we're talking about the fact that they think it's easier to cut people open and fill them with robot technology and apparently yeah they that happens a lot in films nowadays where they they cut out trailer [ __ ] and they just completely well doesn't allude to anything then lines about them having a dark fate in the trailer that didn't make it into the movie like yeah they merged obsolete the word fate but they never know that said dark fate whatsoever let's sing and the trailers I swear I remember them showing like I saw it was like Sara or someone saying oh we stopped Skynet but the machines still come we still have the same dark faith and that line just wasn't in the movie yeah rebellions a belt on her apartment whatever it is Motel seeds I remember anything from backside like Sara explains her history oh yeah she says that um I'm gonna say look at this point in the film she says all she does these days is hunt terminators and so as a reviewer you'd be like what the [ __ ] on today is how does that how does any of that work we'll get to that later come back that's think well we'll get to that when [ __ ] Rd drops [ __ ] lordosis a lot of more dumping in this film but it's so Tiffany like you listen to all the we like none of that big said he said stop it we are they decide that the three of them need to get to these mysterious coordinates and in order to do that they have to pass over the Mexican border and to do that they have to get to a friend yeah but how do they find that out with future [ __ ] oh right yeah so um basically there's coordinates tattooed onto grace or not him a native person apparently they just did they just put him on there but simultaneously Sarah explains that she gets texts from somebody who tells her we're terminators are and kills them like she goes to a place the terminators spawn in and she kills them um that's just a thing Sarah's been doing this whole time she's been spawn camping then yes coming up Sarah [ __ ] up um it actually explains how she found them but not entirely like it was weird for me because she said she gets to coordinates right so one for evil Terminator one for good timin air did she turn up to either of them no oh she was at a random bridge that was like I guess some when like slightly near well but she didn't spawn kill either of those two and she also managed to turn up at the right time as well the last moment is save them there's loads of dumb [ __ ] about Sara like I don't understand any of that and then but okay yeah so they decided that's where they go and Becerra says you know it's encrypted the text and so it's like oh we can't trace whoever sending him then but our helpful Jimenez done non-terminals I'm sorry he puts the phone she takes the back of the phone now and she puts it on your hand and then serie goes what are you doing she says future [ __ ] screenwriting 101 do you remember when Kyle Reese in the first one made pipe bombs and he explained the whole method behind making them and intelligence yeah of course but keep watching Sarah so I'm doing that making pipe bombs and she asked him what you see when you went future [ __ ] we watched shaft last night I recommend is fun yes moment in the film where there's a character who's you know cool and aloof and a character who's bit nerdy annuity characters like I gotta do some some hacking but obviously doesn't say that he says a whole bunch of words that some of them would just never be applicable to actually yeah use quantum quantum well hex is like what I assume is in the script they would have written computer [ __ ] and then an actual person to redraft would have written in oh yeah the quantum field needs to be accessed through the the binary matrix like that I feel like in this script they wrote future [ __ ] somebody will change that and then nobody did chef skills okay yeah and yes we have the mentality of hey you know it's cool bad words yeah makes him cool they like they put a [ __ ] or a [ __ ] in it mostly sarin it Sara just got a faction that she's the crotchety old grandma who doesn't want to be there so cool like it's like all she called The Terminator a metal [ __ ] like all Lisa's know long thinking of that well I was so offended by that line the way I would sum up Sarah Connor in this film she's the cartoon version of Sarah Connor from t2 where it's like what was Sarah conscious like she shotguns oh yeah okay she shot she said badass stuff okay like what else dudes like those he was these texts that explain where two minute is a spawning in she gets a message on your phone that ends with for John or beer then then grace not terminate a person explains that um what is the law dump on the train she's just saying that like the world fell apart because Allegiant one in there the Skynet's not a thing anymore Skynet did die but unfortunately one day with no warning everything just got [ __ ] owns technology everything nothing works anymore and then yes the following day everyone nuked each other and then the following day everyone was at war no no there was there were no nukes just I'm sure she said that it was nukes no it was it was nukes it was day one like the phones and the electricity or not everything stopped working I remember because of her stupid it was day one at all of the power an hour everything stopped working day to the Nutri fire and then she said and then day three it was war she mean with the turbine is or she mentioned Russia's are so key so I'm just I'm just my thought is okay so the nukes are fired that wasn't war all of the world's nukes are fired that's not worldwide no the day after that everyone's like oh [ __ ] we should do something about this it's so lame and it's because they don't explain it but it looks like a legion it's not Skynet yeah the only reason he's legion did this because we weren't allowed to bring back Skynet they were like Skynet big guy who can't bring it back again yeah this is a future that's being killed and we need something different it's called not Skinner email it's the exact [ __ ] same thing they have the same they have the exact same design for the faces they called hunter killers the [ __ ] big areas so you could call the same exact how is this dot Skynet yeah is if they did not save the same designs that they hand and the filing cabinet first Skynet actually think that have been cool to change up the two minute is look with these new models they're the same [ __ ] the most updated thing is the spikes come out the like remind me the edge of tomorrow if I repeat or whatever there's no real consistency between like throughout all the films they just it's just whatever they want to check in for literally been there for a terminator coming after her and determinates are coming after John she knows that terminators don't just come after the parents she's lost brain cells yeah and she's she's like being whose son is dead and she's being like it's not even about you it's about your son he's gonna take action in it is weird always pops through they made Sarah sexist so that the film could go hey look the film isn't sexist with the resident Sarah was wrong because she's a misogynist all development all like learning how to fight making sure she knew people who knew how to fight so she can sponge off their knowledge and then seeped in and passing a light down to her son that doesn't mean [ __ ] because you know she just gave birth to Alicia's like John is who he is and she's like Jose would take all the credit yeah because although partners were like ex-army guys around women like she deliberately hooked up with these kind of people for this reason it's not it wasn't grandma it wasn't just a [ __ ] montage in one film that she immediately became this woman it was a whole history behind but after the first one what I can't and they do the thing [ __ ] they do the thing where a big questions been asked why here and then he cuts in with that and then our I would not terminated the hero there's I really want punch you with a face other like the see dads it's like do you think maybe you think was gonna do you think maybe Danny's gonna be the important person and not someone she gives birth here I don't know I guess we'll have to find out as we progress so then comes the scene that I know Jays gonna talk about I'll just set you up I'll tee you up oh man what is this so they're talking to the guy who's gonna help them this is the fly they're gonna they're gonna help him get it get to where they need to go in a rush and he's he starting to be like hey man there's acting weird like what is going on here what do these two that you traveling with did they do something evil and I think you might think you try something like ah you know we got in trouble with the police for X Y reason something that makes you seem like you're doing good that you've broken a little I you know say oh we're being hunt we're we're being hunted by a machine from the future that's not what you would say to a human person which is what they say to this man and obviously they'll take it out well but then Jay take the floor this is like this this is the moment like remember unrelated to what are you saying remember she just does it since yeah she just decides to do this I'm watching comedies I don't think I've laughed this hard in the cinema for a long time and I had to try and control my laughed it out of consideration for the other three people in the cinema [Music] she [ __ ] has she's just playing with a knife that she has for some reason and then there's a fly buzzing around her so in slow motion she slices the fly perfectly in half with her knife and then everyone sees it there's like holy [ __ ] that was amazing as to what just happened that will mean there was a fly apparently our eyesight everyone saw the final cut of the film instead of actually what they would have seen see I think what would be funnier if she did that and then the cousin just gonna fly Swan and got one like just whack me on the table he's like yeah I could do it too so she does that and the guy like does this little face moving like huh impression must be emission it literally cuts like seconds after that to them on their way it's like that that's it must be from the future reference cuz I think we said this off stream this scene is very much doing the exact same thing as a certain scene from t2 where miles Dyson had to be convinced that they were there was a machine from the future that came back to warn them about how they're gonna get killed Skynet has to be stopped ahead of time because it's a horrible thing okay how do you do that and they explained it to him and he doesn't really believe it so then dawn gives him a knife audiences show him and he D gloves himself and shows his well his exoskeleton underneath and Oska endoskeleton and it was killing yeah uh and sees he's just the zooms of this blood all over and he's just like listen to me very carefully it's jesus [ __ ] christ it's abrupt into the point and it's perfect yeah it's a good argument i believe it i feel like oh you're a metal bad okay you're from yeah yeah there's no [ __ ] going on you you see you hit and i'm down you hit fly with the knifes like okay stray luck cool the movie thought was like yeah it's like may have had like a chew sound effect imagine if they did some [ __ ] like that and teach you like oh I will show you up it's over there I can stop say onions me you remember um evil Terminator man was he kills everybody in this security booth and then he starts keeping track of our heroes while also informing the American whatever he's on that on the us-mexico border and the Andes masquerading as whether the Border Patrol officers are over I don't get how he managed to stay in there for that long without alerting anybody when all the other people are dead like you'd think that the consul's being unmanned would have some kind of I'm going for those people literally don't do anything every time every time somebody came in to check all them he just stabbed them into you but oh [ __ ] the other problem scene that's really stupid I don't know if anyone else noticed it he interfaces with the computer not by plugging himself into the computer or anything out of the keyboard and putting his like liquid goo into the keyboard why does every movie value the keyboard more than anything else it's like go for the [ __ ] CPU even the hard drive would make more sense like at least the first time he doesn't he [ __ ] puts his gooey hands into a [ __ ] server yeah that's just before doesn't he like to slightly understand it and then they're like no it's keyboard that matter I just want to pull the USB out he's like hey we probably haven't seen a better bet bad-inator for like 50 20 minutes up until this point because right no I don't mind that that much whatever he cuz the thing is he can't be that interesting of a villain cuz he's a machine which you can try and address going forward but that is that is the way it works in Terminator band Terminator 2 they can't have an interesting journey or personality all he is is just he's coming it and what they are trying to give him a personality at some point whatever whatever he's normally unseen though they just run it away from him for like most of the film and then well yeah there's like one or two dumb lines and then smile it really if they kept him like that if they kept him as like an emotionless well just don't let them talk do you know then it would be really cool just anything because that's so kind of like the t1000 he has a couple of lines but I always felt like they literally criticals like I need to see John Connor have a nice day he needed so you don't like so like this is scene where you buy the he has emotions and then you realize that people yeah like no alembert yeah Waller I know you've seen Dalek hmm yeah like that like that like what good things to the you've highlighted another problem we had another problem I got another problem he looks at them through a drone and the the shot it was him being like a Milo up above them at most if you remember later when he's about a mile away from them he's spotted and that's at nighttime but he's not spotted here mmm which is one problem the other problem is to remember what he does with the drone later in the movie people may see suit he bombs it oh yeah why isn't he doing it they are then while he waits he waits until they've been captured anyway and then below tries the blob up you could argue you could argue it's like oh they can't move their it it's like [ __ ] didn't work he anyway wait you film to be handcuffed and then he fought right this plus elemental surprise should do it and then of course it did not still didn't do it surely he has access to more than one drone right I was about to say if you have access to one drone before we have like a weaponized drone somewhere you can [ __ ] use no bombing run them or shoot them but keep you you literally infiltrate any US Air Base or whatever take a higher jail or a helicopter or some [ __ ] and just going guns blazing but there's no plan or anything even though they talk about how ruthless and smart they are they Laidback [ __ ] to hit how they execute their plans it's the whole announcing that they're there instead of just like taking the cliche mmm if you just hid instead of going blah blah he would have killed them easily like several times remember how when they get surrounded by people with guns um two things first they actually go to start shooting them like they put their gut like Sarah and they put the guys it's like guys you're like oh I thing you could bid and then once they decide okay yeah baby we should surrender yeah not terminator says to Sarah if I get separated from here you have to protect it it's like you're all arrested like it's not gonna be able to do yeah that's word so like they get handcuffed and they're about to be taken in by Border Patrol because evil terminator alerted Border Patrol which is yeah when the Tim day is need like ice to like help like kill their targets it's a bit embarrassing as for how like doesn't I'm okay with it it just it's weird to me that it wasn't more drones for him to try using he didn't try using it once they've been placed into like a van or something which probably would be in the best scenario if he was waiting instead of just going for it and then thirdly how did it take him so long to get to the holding scent like the by the time he gets there they're escaping you know I mean yeah I hate the talk that he was turned into the same dude like it could have been they could have done really cool scenes were they like looking around para yeah I think I think that's a bit of a boy he's he's always gonna tune like - she's into the same dude cuz like oh I guess he just likes that face eggs with the older models literally all they can actually look like but he 1000 this kind of applies to as well only to a lesser degree cuz he only fights them in like the beginning then he does actually switch like the security guard in the hospital which is in ooh wearing the helmet and the and the aviators and stuff I don't know this this is a bit to go for that as well but you know no film is perfect right sort of maybe yes I can think of a perfect film aim it is it Shrek Catwoman I think Catwoman is in this perfect yeah there's not degrees of perfect they just both perfect either way I'm missing I mean here yes you're missing it how dare you not understand how hilarious was there captured they're all in [ __ ] you captured wheels and they just waitin to get processed Sarah gets identified and they take her away I guess I'll get to more of that layer and [ __ ] main character tries to explain they're being hunted by she's like what then you're like oh cuz she needs those tail but that doesn't go anywhere really so where the worst one-liner in the film happens as well Oh which one which one who said you could look at my private parts I think it ties into another line she says to Arnie later but like I'm not I'm just gonna wait until y'all get to that part oh you you can reference that now if you want what is it not prisoners the people who were looking at her she beats them to unconsciousness she has this guy looking at her with like absolute fear and she just like [ __ ] slams his head into a wall it's like okay bear in mind right when when when on he does this in t2 it is almost a smirk on the audience's face because he's a terminator he doesn't know any better he's just trying to knock them all out so we can get his job done he's like a full-on human being and you're supposed to be like yeah you but she keeps beating innocent people futures not important get lost yeah it's totally like a message scene because there's a seat there's also a part where they say weird like they wear the were the I guess the corrections officers whatever literally describe the cells as cages just assume by bottle them it's clearly oh yeah right sorry message theme so that's one of those lines in the film where I was like oh dude some social commentary so the idea is that we've got a bunch of people who tried to come over the border illegally they're obviously in these holding pens or whatever waiting for transfer or processing depending on what they're gonna do and so she's like how do I release the prisoners because she wants to get thing yeah and then she's like they're not prisoners they're detainees you can we just talk about how insane that is they just cut her open saw his she has like some body armor below her skin some [ __ ] up syringes then she just beats two or three people before she goes to door to the whamon so where the prisoners the detainees like you're about to die what is her problem yeah I know that she would want her ended like tell it away baby you live I'm sorry this is bad for a brand you can't call them that we talked about like the implications of that line there like that for private don't fit as they play the laugh as a joke like either that serious or don't put it in like stop she also gets information she needs from that person and just punches are out yeah Jesus I out it's like wow just a total [ __ ] throughout the entire movie he killed several police at the beginning yeah she does if she terminated fine with it you're a soldier you're told like and you you aren't you're on the side of human beings so naturally you don't really kill people human other human beings that much like yeah you're mostly about killing terminator you're taught to hate terminators and so like she's just going around like wasted people yeah no exactly she's there to protect the future of one person but everyone else is like there whatever about them like there are some people were it's justified like okay like clearly maybe if they were you know left fully able to do whatever you know maybe they would have stopped her I tried to stop her but like especially with like the woman who was like working in the fighting the detainees woman like me no reason to punch her lights out she's just like I don't like you exactly to wait a few his handcuffed people like oh just you know I love it anyway stop killing people to be the hero after a while I can turn mater to like Arnie was like he took John's orders it was like okay I don't kill everybody because you know sometimes you just can't go around kill everybody if job was here he's like you can't go around killing people to this new girl she's like why not because it's bad like why like I assure you to the Terminator I think we could just all be glad that the dawn doesn't work for border control guys doesn't need more of this it's like he said he's hard down on his luck he's like oh kill I don't think from this woman in this film and neither do we get one from Arnie after John's told not to kill people but he does beat the [ __ ] out of several people he like slams people into walls and hits them over the head with [ __ ] like but the thing is he's like cannot kill so it translates as like well they make a joke out of it in the film he shoots a guy both of this like legs that he's like I just know he did kill him again but was here there's no sense of like it's binary with a robot it's like as long as the [ __ ] heart is still beating I guess he'll be fine but with her she's just like I have [ __ ] eight people it's like if you go to the end of that and like you were told no ever survive you're like [ __ ] really holy [ __ ] and we just don't care that fire character it's like to make that like significance of enough of a of a thing that they we're all for like to include they're just like yeah whatever you know bad guys appear on screen pew pew pew pew whatever they're on the floor you know groaning on the floor something job done you know so now I want to highlight John Oh sir Connor is a sixty plus year old woman was kind of a little bit twig like in this film and that's fine she's 68 or inspector Lee a bodybuilder but she's walking with these two well it's actually in the shot you can see three guys but it's two when the lights start to flicker she kicks one in the chest and he falls down some steps and apparently that knocks him out cuz he's gone you know I don't think that's how that works especially for someone who's a trained agent but okay fine yeah get on lucky okay so she was lucky let's put it that way lucky with him getting knocked out then she like kicks the other guy she's within like the foot and then she does this move where hit her hands a hunt handcuffed behind her back he manages to get high enough to lock his head between her chest and arm if you know what I mean and she's actually like chokes him out and it's just like wow she was hella struggling holy [ __ ] Sarah called us so I'll give it a pass what the hell and then a good Tiffany an ottoman appears and releases like every single immigrant person I don't know that that's gonna end well because I'm pretty sure if they'll run around the security area they like it shot but uh well yeah she causes a riot than she's well it's not really her like that's not what she cares about though well no I'm saying from like the film's perspective about how they're prisoners you know I mean like the matter element like you know them all freaking in the same way that Rose lets all the [ __ ] people free the horse is free and people know Sheila's the horse is practice but in this film as well of like I don't think that's gonna add well he's kind of dumb because like oh she's supposed to show she cares about people but then she doesn't care about people she doesn't she only cares about the person well like JJ said I'm pretty sure she does it just I definitely noticed when we watched it like two days ago where there wasn't one they just pulled that out into their ass and he pursued them straight afterwards like a reference right so this is the part where we turn up to our knees houses business been giving her the coordinates for two years he gets up from watching the football here we go watch the football relieved I think he's analyzing the tactics of each team's like they're gonna mildews then he just bangs on a lottery every day like okay all right bit weird this whole bit weird though so yeah he opens the door and if you've seen the trailer Sarah's like oh my god you piece of [ __ ] and tries to shoot him but then it gets really intolerable Sarah this is the one in the same guy who killed Jon Amiel mushy a first question was when assumes that womb and bad and bad terminator didn't they change the timeline and t2 like when they were on it Mexican vacation or vacation whatever in the beginning of the movie and so is that the same Terminator that happens after two minute - yeah but you said the Terminator that comes after John in the beginning in the dark fate is that the same one the this was the we got a law dump again do anything else like why would I don't know why she thought was really smart yeah just that they kill like together like she and she and John I don't remember how many did she say the build more I'm not with John I don't know did you say like at some point they they caught up and found us we bring up the question at this point how many terminators have come back that she apparently gets text so regularly that there's a terminator round like what are they sent back for they're try and kill Danny cuz well well from this timeline after John gets killed Legion now becomes the replacement and the target for Legion is Danny so they start sending not terminators but revs whatever instead well you say revs this is the first one they probably will make a bunch of movies out of this pressure the other ones were still like the terminators we know because she says it someone's like that they came from his future that oh yeah wield or something yeah and he says apparently in t2 and I'm talking pretty much in the same timeline exactly they sent back a [ __ ] cluster of terminators like a whole bunch in loads of different places what we saw in t2 was them dealing with one of them and that a whole bunch more will come in and they went off the grid and hid away in some distant Beach Aran gone unfortunately Arnie found them and [ __ ] just killed him with a shotgun yeah a satellite and you never a cluster of them sent back or is that a new thing from this oh well I'm saying that if that if the case is that they were sent back to kill John and and and the way they look in on our Beach looks as if we just ft2 like they look exactly the same yeah the way and this is multiplied I think they'd like the same black tank top but they yeah they send another army model back to kill them she's not the same one that sacrificed himself that's a thing like this when they were bringing back the are anymore feel the resentment that the mentee to the the friendly Arnie killed himself it's like can we not just use that one please why did you have to get rid of him they piss on t2 for their well the new the new generation both I honestly feel like they're only like they're only like at a slight provocation from going this is the one from t2 that was friendly he just survived okay he just survived he was like a time travel there also depended this only terminators be sent back but no one to start like to protect just right yeah maybe protect some sense because the whole thing was they were about to scale was about to lose they sent a terminator back then they lose and they sent a guy or a machine or whatever they have in their timeline for this round of movie to protect someone who you're right some reason there's only a terminator sent back what's with the protector I mean just a bother us like oh [ __ ] I've never made a great amount of sense but now it makes even less sense being the it's like okay so the humans knew that the Terminator is sent a terminator back and so they send Kyle Reese back to protect yours like you guys maybe you should end a lot of dudes out Reese might help you enough but fine well hand wave that and then t2 does the same thing and again you like you have access to Tiffany is maybe okay fine hand wave that to but this film is like the bad guys said with [ __ ] loads at every day is like you guys already said the one Audie really yeah yeah like long gaps I subscribe to the theory that they sent someone back but they were really [ __ ] terrible he got lost it's like I don't know where they are she deleted all the photos of John how am I supposed to find them they settle down did all the photos and records of Sara get deleted cuz if not actually yeah no one no one knows that their timeline was Sarah Connors which is weird to me because she basically did like a whole bunch of [ __ ] in this timeline like killing lots of terminators I guess did that just not happen I'm just so confused by the time we brought this up while I'm watching them melded but from the chat at pine vos Australia maybe on but it says when you get like half a dozen Tammany's two naked hug on the time-machine platform and send them back of the fault a bit into each other a set like a whole cluster actual cluster of them I realize the picture he has is the only one so what I'm talking about is Eris says she didn't take any pictures of John in order for there to be no records of John in order to escape the terminators forever they never know what John looks like problem is that there were already records of junks he went to a school and like I said the t1000 [ __ ] got pictures of him so I'm pretty sure it's possible and secondly all they need to do is find Sarah and they'll find John there are plenty of records are here she went to a [ __ ] mental asylum so yeah that makes no sense at all but that's not a shock considering this movie oh yeah before this kind of [ __ ] they don't care enough to like make sure it actually makes sense they're just like mmm yeah yeah yeah I guess we're at the point now where the writers wanted to bring on you from Terminator 2 back because he's also how do we do it cuz he's dead well as he may as well be him at this point in the movie like you have to get that it's like well what happened was according to Ronnie he shot and killed John with a shotgun and dropped the gun and walked off because well his mission has done was a robot do then he bumped into a girl who was being beaten by her fiance husband boyfriend whatever and so he stopped all that and he lives with them see stop laughing people think I'm joking I'm not joking bloody yeah they asked if he loves the person and he's like I feel compassion for them or something they're like how and he says I learned compassion do you love her conscience not like a human could do yes he gets asked at one point about love and he says I can't live like a human can and it's worse that way he basically makes a point about how not being able to love his bad yeah yeah yep yep I'm not kidding I I gave a very fair recant of the [ __ ] plot like that's the thing that he says that's all the way yeah no no [ __ ] exaggeration and then she then she comes it comes and he gets like food and whatever and then she doesn't know does she you know I was like what if the movie itself goes with it she didn't realize you're 400 pounds or whatever it was weighs more than 400 pounds as well I think that's yeah I don't know I don't know what they actually said but it was like a Viking skeleton of like steel I don't know the well do you remember the third one when they try pulling the fireman try pulling them off the debris and like four of them they'd be able to fall a 400-pound man [ __ ] doesn't boogie way more than these are around 400 pounds but you you could pull somebody who wait for the pond you at least like Paulo be like in the direction if they're standing yeah the he weighs 100 pounds that definitely that's not he's gotta weigh at least a ton I'm I think that was a throwaway line from t3 but that's it that'd be about around what he weighs yeah because the fireman couldn't lift him and there's like four of them I like that well then yeah so either way the film goes out of its way to point out this plot hole because there's no [ __ ] way you could live with a family for 40 years and they have no idea waiting 40 is it it's not even relevant make her know these internally yeah we wouldn't matter if she do he was a terminator she get over it they'd have to have a few late to be fair like every time the term they would go to the car or ever though by all figures they shouldn't be able to drive two cars with bikes like this they should be wrecking this is the suspension oh yeah that's true ooh it'll it weighs everything eyes are as well the how do they don't know you're a machine must put it that way guys that are need iddyn have the kid II and II fostered it oh no yeah it's not his kid it's not his kid sorry it's not they don't do breeding [ __ ] because I was about to get to that they say like how didn't you notice and the the implication of the question is that if you have sex with Arnie surely you'd notice of the kill box and then remove her when the guy gets there and just shoot the SH out of him or whatever it's like okay and then other girls plan is to just run away think right that's she's just like we should just run which is insane well yeah but that's this is the thing right those are two plans and there's these criticisms and things you can do with them but instead of just saying I believe we should run he's like no I will not make her bait we will just be like stretch Oh strangely possessive out of nowhere somewhere in the dark oh I'll drop it oh well oh some [ __ ] right but by poisonously instead of being like all kill boxes the grade here she's like [ __ ] bite Sarah's head off and then the the main girl has to be like gob gawd we used to talk about this rationally as it's very constructed to be it's like we'll see who runs the drapes as groups makes Joe you just had to get them in the movie that's all it is it's very very awkward to be as a whole but they agreed shoulders it and she aims at the two there's two targets and she just fires fires and hits both of them and he might be like well wait oh you know what gave her like how did she do that what gave her the accuracy it's like well sarah said imagine this thing killed your whole family she doesn't have to imagine it look really just dead like yeah dad remember how your family's dead okay no I can but there's it shut off but I don't want them Lee aligned and he says that you need to do a thing with his chip in order to let him learn and they do it and then he starts learning in the film which is I'm really good part of the film in this film he says that once he killed John he walked off and he met those people and he started learning about compassion and then he actually like grew one and just like I don't and if someone wanted to say like oh well they pulled his chip out put it back it's like no they don't know he's activity so that's not possible and he can't do it himself because he literally turns himself off to do it so yeah he was learning without being able to learn and he also just grew a conscience and maybe not a conscience but compassion is the word they use in the film you know they literally say they describe it as a conscience in the film yeah the power of love flipped the switch involuntarily that's what happened is so dumb like unbelievably dumb and that's why I there's the thing he looks at the fridge and there's the van on it he's like my heart and he finds them like immediately after and you just think like wouldn't it be a smart move to have ditched that van back and they could that of going straight to which brings us to the next bit so this is the plot summary of this Sarah Connor and this is reinforced by Rd he just says this is the case he has an old friend in the military who's a major she's gonna ask him for an EMP that's just how that works she does but that part at the point you're doing that you may as well I already have one of those in my talk yes she may as well have just had an EMP cuz so dumb but I mean he in finis J he is used for more than one thing this major piece yeah but I do love the fact that he shows up to like commit treason to like exchange the order give of the MP and he just shows up in his army clothes like yeah so people understand the scope of this there about I want to say five miles away from some form of a military outpost and he's in his military garb providing illegally a weapon to civilians as a favor to a friend and he says that he shouldn't be doing this because it's like super treason but he's just dressed as a major it's just hilarious and he was like being like oh who's that a bodyguard and they looks about like grapes again I can't remember and then and then the other girl starts talking and this major guys just like huh those people I've never met before just here okay this is the one line in the film that I thought was funny like an ironically rough play which one when when the military contact sees areas like I know sir okay that in the film that I found on ironically was when the military guy is like oh is this your bodyguard after seeing honey and honey just says I do drapes yeah I can see why it worked it's okay no III laughter the FL did tend to do this I I'll say right I think can we agree it's the best joke in the film no I don't wanna call one I'm not gonna call you [ __ ] college I like the word recess also I'm extremely funny yeah major guy just gets shot by evil terminator because evil tumor is already here because they don't want to make have another character and as he's chasing them they just shooting down and stuff and then major guy puts a call in to the outpost to set up a like a an airplane for our heroes while simultaneously trying to stop evil terminator from getting to them he just does all of this and you're like wow even know what's happening right now like know who this guy is and why this is say be just yeah he just gets the military fully involved it is it's really weird like I don't know house - really - really afraid that it's just like it just happens I get access this is the thing there's so many set pieces to do and this films not exactly long like it's two hours like all of these different huge moments so they have to jump jump jump jump and um we does get shot which is why he's like also that like you know Russian air if I can do it oh [ __ ] it's not well like that his careers over well yeah they should have been take me to a hospital and then he got a gone oh yeah I got shot by a mugger and then job done yeah the story kinda mean he's like not having normal reactions it's like he knows it's a terminator but this is a desperate situation he need full force for it's like how do you know them oh yeah this believes that the threat is a robot from the future like in a few minutes all of that doesn't matter anyways do you remember um the helicopter like gets like it's some sort of so the reason why they're able to get into the airplane without getting [ __ ] killed by evil Timna is because ela gets trapped his helicopter gets trapped on like a tire with this chain on it yeah some couldn't really make out what it was it was really weird he's like it gets tethered to it by that and it's just like yeah it's like yep that's the thing that happens you okay and it's obviously to just give out here a bit more time which they do they get into the airplane he tries to get on it there anything else I'm missing I think that's just it no they drive into the brace they try to stop him but fail I it to you guys but it's a it's a very minor positive Ani sees him coming and it was us his visor and it's it looks just like it does there's no yes like yeah yeah yeah it's hot yes because all of the new Terminator hoods are all like super hide I advanced as they probably would be it's just the honest good job guys you nailed that my new portion of the film I just figured out if I [ __ ] it in bring back old but not obsolete Arnold you're still fear Isle so yes this thing big aircraft area vehicle carrier thing driving off and like they have a fight but you'll Tim they're losers and you could argue it's almost wish that he that he gets onto there and then falls off because he falls off into the middle of like what could be like a suburb he just hits some guys shed yeah are you good [ __ ] off with he's on his own in his shed that's that's it and he gets out of it that's when he delivers that line we were talking about were he just says we're just sorry about the shed sorry about should have especially when using capacitated with ani doing the back-and-forth that would be a great time to of you wouldn't have [ __ ] up their plan though why oh you mean because they would have impede the airplane yeah yeah yeah if it was that powerful to destroy this figure it's gonna be at that point you probably like set it back down immediately I don't know it's not gonna be a shortwave burst it's gonna it's gonna take out the plane the neighbor yeah and ungrazed to a degree it would like [ __ ] a or something for a while and she couldn't move her yeah I wonder if that would be that would happen or not they never bring that up they never bring up I thought they were gonna bring up that army would be killed by it if it went off for them well she's got enhanced eyes and everything else fire like electronics or ever that's gonna look blinded and like probably I should use leave in their lungs over a heart of a [ __ ] everyone's gonna die I said so they had a chance to use it for a while like throw that whole scene they could have just been like this is it he's right there it's not exactly shortwave it's not like a meteor is it well it looks like there's two grenades in a briefcase it's a military briefcase you know like reinforced metal or wherever but we need to do is give one to Arnie to activate and get ready to throw while they were in the car and he gets out and other half is that um a look in there EMP box it's gotten it's got three bullets in it and then they open the case and one bullet missed and one bullet went through one of the EMP grenades and the other bullet went through the other EMP grid no I think actually two went through one and one one for the other one cuz sworn I just had one hole in each but yeah I could be wrong doesn't matter the point is Lumpy's done they don't have the MPs anymore because for some reason I guess they left it out in the open shrug moment of like oops well I guess we gotta do something else now you know so that black soldier guy just died for nothing okay well I can't believe he died though this there maybe because they bring him on to the airplanes are talking to him I remember feels like hobbles off it I really can't remember with this one because at this point when they go through these parts of the film I'm really like just bored because like yeah yeah he's chasing them okay and then they're gonna like do a chase scene in the air okay okay okay now we're gonna have some more plot okay let me get our next law dump he explains that Danny is hero of humanity he's gonna like bring everybody to I don't know she actually mention that they they don't say anything about winning a war do they know there's always it's not what about win an award based list it's leading the revolution you know yeah um they don't explain she she says that she sent grace back but they don't explain how like because they just yeah it feels as if they like well it's terminator of course you have a time machine it's like no no they have to explain this [ __ ] you have to because t2 and t1 both explained how that's a possibility I know that's it which is believable to a degree if it's just a matter of technology those guys you know the machines work they make better machines and make better machines ba ba ba um so they made the time machine they sent a terminator back but they made it just too late because they they lose the war just as the humans take over and then the humans use its MP it's like okay I cancel even though technically shouldn't time have changed immediately after a [ __ ] it I can't be else think about right now depends on how you think type works but in this film they're just like those type of [ __ ] what is this isn't thing if they didn't even win the war how the humans have a time machine how did that happen no they have cyborg technology as well and they're not just like survive it well like in the well in the old pasture now does not exist those are the old Future past but doesn't exist [ __ ] is confusing it's all dirty and like it's all 80s style went with like the plasma rifles in there and they're all pulse rifles and then in this it's just regular ballistic guns but they also have cyborg technologies it's kind of weird like is humanity honest like last like rinkle but because he's still like developing technology still like discover a new science augment people's yeah this is not like I don't know it they don't explain their they don't they don't cover enough of it but they but it's there to like raise a question and it's like [ __ ] sakes what are you doing yeah the point of the scene to reveal that it's not Danny son it's dad all you sexist bigger it's get [ __ ] shamed on from like I said it's just flashbacks already of the [ __ ] comments from Sarah and she are whoa oh and the [ __ ] the constancy of the [ __ ] the [ __ ] she says she literally says um you are not the mother of some man who saves you are the future and I just [ __ ] shrunk inside why does it matter it's a guy so much it's like guys it's okay he saves the universe Connor literally spells out for the whole audience she's like you're John Connor like you're John you're not me you're John phone call well yeah you know like if we get meta for a second they care that's what savior of humanity and replaced him with a girl who saves humanity you're like okay that's odd well the digital disco for this I have the universe or they like the future is cyclical and they'll always repeat itself all it always shape up to be this some kind of figure it's almost tune into the matrix where there's gonna be there's always a chosen one who will lead the revolution against the machines is it this case it's the Mexican Danny or ever every sequel Terminator film has tried to argue why John would be a good leader and they try and argue that good tactics or he's good at encouraging people he's gonna put in people gather all that because of Sarah and Kyle's influence that he knowledgeable he knows what he's doing yeah it's not bringing is like and in this one I just like oh well we're gonna have it's with different leader leads me like okay but what happened to John cuz you would obviously end up leading to with what we know it's like oh he was killed killed by you when it's like after t2 is hit with a shotgun like what yeah which is the other thing if they like trying to kill Danny like for the well then while it was trying to kill Danny they typically couldn't use their like just given up like for a few days and others left they're like you know go back to adorable life and they'd come out again because I think that's how they kill John John got killed just because Sarah was like oh let's go to the Bahamas or something you know yeah and they get interrupted because evil Tiffany a [ __ ] crashes his airplane in today's and again I'm just like how the [ __ ] did he get you so quickly but that's just the thing now then you get the whole scene where they're like in partial zero-g partially not we're all floating around all beating up the Terminator while also trying to survive a falling airplane and it's kind of just like Nicolas yeah there's nothing to really say about choreography cuz it's all extremely convenient the way everyone moves around and how everything happens it's still just a bouncy pretty much I still just figure of like the epic scenes like in t2 like with Arnie with a minigun like taking out well not take him out any of the police officers but at the same time shoot them all up just so that they over treat from the siege against the the Skynet building or rather you know yeah oh and he's got it like not wound any of them and the buses out of the the SWAT van with a gap well he doesn't have a gas mask but all the rest of them do and he just like walks around to shoot with them whilst they all just like you know pepper spray him with bullets I like it they never do that well nobody in never manages like guys with action scenes like that in there any of the other Terminator films I don't think you know during the fight at one point Arnie and evil man get put right to each other and he just punches him again and again and again is doing nothing you're like and you really really do it a clever job here well this if Ali's always been feature creeped like every single film but he always remains on top II he's like [ __ ] Rocky Balboa like every type of his opponent like almost like is 1ups he's like still manages to fight him you know yeah even though he could well this is the thing it's only until right up until the end of the film the whenever he fights on he doesn't use his stabby weapons but the second he does it works and it's just why didn't you just do that straight away idiot yeah he just has a gentlemen's brawl with him because they don't want it like he fighting the tears off his arm doesn't it yeah it's character yeah is its plot arm obviously but it just really lazy because again he could just slice his arms off at any given point and he couldn't be quick enough to stop it but it doesn't because reasons um the same way he doesn't just use guns where like you know shooing them for attacking them with a range weapon would be the preferable takedown but instead you know he just runs up to the tries to stab them and he always announces himself because he's never that good at it like infiltration because he always reveals himself before you kill it goes in for the kill is stupid and remember he blows open the the back with with the grenade launcher and I'm pretty sure that's one of the many moments where the films goes dun dun dun dun and then unleash a grenade launcher that's like he does in the other Phil and Brad Fidel should sue the [ __ ] so this is this pause it's gonna be happy to like really structure what happens next so it's like the airplane pretty much exploding but they all out of the airplane in a Humvee that has parachutes on it and it gets opened up but just too late so they kind of crash into a dam because it's not enough for them to land on you know be a ground or even water it has to be some structure they're in it's a dam huge like industrial dam and they swing off the edge of it and they're held up by parachutes only and then Annie is dropped into he's like fighting the terminator in the water they fall into the water and he's fighting him below look at the bottom of it okay and the bed at the river or Ivor and he gets sort of incapacitated I think that's where they pull pull his arm off right yeah actually like his the evil terminators pull on his arm until it breaks off yeah yeah yeah see cuz this at this point the Terminator or the evil - there's always he's always shedding his is like skin or his metal skin with his gooey skin [ __ ] - like it is as weird as we make it sound and again it's just proved that like he wasn't like trying hard enough at the start he didn't go of his best plan eat he like you know back you can split into two killer robots it's like you should just [ __ ] done that to begin with like just assume I'm impaired and just go after them but he did that the one time and then he failed miserably because he just brought a [ __ ] shitty pistol and he also learned very much in terms of like he keeps incapacitating Arnie like throwing him away or pushing or just breaking an arm off it was a reason he never actually disables him it's one of the things I liked about the t1000 was you eventually like okay you have to be stopped you're actually getting in the way way too much yeah how that works I guess so instead of allowing him to get to the Humvee they cut it so it goes underwater and I don't know what I have to say about the realism of that scene but they're like waterproof for a decent amount of time underwater in the Humvee with a necessity Lincoln and their plan is let the place filled with water because like Sara shoots him through the glass so of course that's gonna let Warren and she wants to activate a parachute on him the second he tries to attack them to tangle him up and then they'll both swim out seems risky to me it's like alright I guess this will work and it does perfectly like that well yeah again he should have had the advantage will be tall his to like just stab them like in water but they could normally yeah like you'd stab through a parachute why you just think being on the war like how like you know flex about how agile you are compared to like it'll be labelled on grounds you know um and yes so the the get-ups to service Sara's dislocate her arm and our hero Gill is doing him medical tizen oh yeah she's having a moment what it's just a it's just a MacGuffin to whenever it is they are where she in this moment because this is they this is probably the one with the most characters only given time in the film isn't it yeah like like Genesis had freaks here Sarah John and on for that life towards it for towards the end but yeah that's just the main cast as that well this one I'm looking for quite a few more extras you know either way they're outside of the like in entrance to the dam Sarah's incapacitated to a degree so is our hero Gil and so it's like you have to run cuz you know he can't protect you then Adi turns up with a syringe just he said you dropped this on the airplane can you imagine that it's like he forgot this on the a plane did he pick that up before all that [ __ ] happened or is it during it he was like oh syringe no yes good boy and so she gets fixed up and then Sarah by the way despite her arm being like not usable according to or he's able to wield a shotgun that just fine so I guess yeah I work that badly okay and back what a factor at all talking about how there's just not enough time for the movie alright so they're on foot they've got weapons everyone's back together they haven't got their EMPs and they know the Tim Minuteman is coming it's like right what's the plan they're like what we need to run and then Danny is like no this is our kill box there's a stand like I was like what do you be this is like a week nothing to have one shotgun and that's it yeah and the [ __ ] plan is to hit it with a hammer and a chain yeah they've got like the most primitive weapons going and this is like now they're ready for the fight is if like it's some you know shitty show enjoy a film or anime or like a like you know like the friendship comes together now they're ready to take out the back they try to kill him with all the things he can duplicate or like replicate with or mold to his body they use to try to kill him can't be creative when Adi gets hits like an area and he accidentally drops he's like happening but he's like doing god those that are now what that's like oh look at that the turbine and that's it though that they just they keep beating him with things and so as a viewer you'd rightfully be wondering like what the [ __ ] gonna happen because this isn't gonna do anything and there's just this turbine to the right of them that's spinning really fast and it's like Oh Roman there I guess I don't know which they manage to but not at the cost of Ani getting almost destroyed and I'll terminate a good girl getting stabbed in the chest which and because she's human that rocks are up quite a bit I think you guys may have noticed the Sarah gets like grabbed and pushed by the Terminator several times but never stabbed could deploy was nice like yeah before bring her back it's good to be able to promote them what if Skinner's paper-thin he's getting thrown around but she's okay she shouldn't break a hip or anything yeah they toss him in there and it all explodes and he comes out of it like you'd expect that he'd come out of it maybe with you know like he'd reform you just be annoyed but like he gets full-on [ __ ] up like it's like missing an arm I think it's very little of him remaining yes to like limp toward them that's how useless you oh wow apparently all his skin is gone as well so a lot of his goop I don't know why it wouldn't just detached it from himself got rid of the goop as I thought that I didn't yeah I don't know yeah if you like Sarah is okay the other two pretty much knocked out and then she walks up to this like fire and she's like he's not dead cuz she couldn't hear like noises and she's just a big head gun at the fire and that he jumps out of it like you know pushes her aside like what if we could you walk right up to a fire in the fire and yeah luckily she doesn't get killed because obviously I'll kill stare at this point like I said I think if they made a sequel they need it for Mark look it's like you two still watch it and yet cuz cuz grace is old tis me she's like you need to cut my power core out of me shove it into his head because it'll kill him which is just like out of nowhere I don't remember to set that up before it's like oh okay like sure I guess I think right before there they did have their last fight she's just like I have something in my body that can kill but that makes me die and no we can't do that and then they have to do it anyways yeah it's such an interesting moral conundrum yeah so yeah the point is that the big payoff is gonna be our protagonist has to tear out the power core of the hero or to defeat the villain okay oh she does fingering her yes like she didn't really tell her exactly where it was she could have stabbed him poked around but like is this it there's like no yeah so she gets it yeah she runs over to do you remember this [ __ ] she like has she wants to have a [ __ ] fight with the timid err the cookie what a [ __ ] she's like hitting it with a bat like dude it's such a like feels good moment for like I grabs her leg and pulls it back if the timin has got you by the leg that ankle is going away and they struggling and they're a good like [ __ ] five or six meters away and Sara sees it and she's just kicking Oddie's they wake up [ __ ] kicking it wakes above it's like oh okay there's no like electricity already that you just wakes up and he just tid's up next to the fight and saves the day I just like oh did he roll over oh she's fine and uh yeah the the thing goes into the bad man's skull and protagonist Gill saves the day almost but ami has to finish it off grabs bad terminia both fall down a big tunnel and that our heroes look at them as they're about to explode and on he says for John as he blows up this film had the t800 at-6 I remember a text I want to get onto the main point it'd be you know you have all of T to happen and then it's like these people telling you a fanfiction like how sad would it be if that Tim and I killed John and he felt bad about it and said that died later and said for John it's just like [Laughter] he did help poetic he died to to redeem himself from killing Jews like he's a robot he's a [ __ ] toaster it's can you imagine us in the beginning he just really hard to define II Canon when you have multiple releases of film what you can do is just make it specific to your review so like you can review the film as a sequel to one of those three editions I would pick the director's cut because I can best cut so um it's the directors cup mostly go with the director's cut for Canon right after check is it's the same with dstwo I reviewed
