give him a praise we are grateful we're grateful we're thankful you know they said back in the day there is no place like home some of us have traveled near we've traveled far and no matter where you have gone on vacation no matter where you have visited whether a family or whether friend or you've gone to some remote location some exquisite place it was great while you were there you took advantage of excursions and had great food and a great time but then there came with time perhaps in your experience when in your heart you became homesick and you said there's no place like home and in the past 18 months we have been home we have been praying we have been watching we have been trusting god we have believed in god we have worshipped god and now tonight we give god thanks and praise for this homecoming revival crusade here at the first baptist church of glen arden we're thankful and we're blessed good evening good evening good evening good evening you may be seated in the presence of the lord amen amen and amen my name is pastor dwayne dickens senior i serve as special assistant to pastor jenkins and it is indeed my honor and privilege to serve in this capacity tonight as president of this service on behalf of our pastor and first lady and the leaders of our church we just want to say once again welcome home and we're thankful for all of you who have who have carved out the time to be here tonight but we also want to also thank an audience that's beyond this tent there are untold numbers of people who are watching us online and so family would you help me welcome those who are watching online and just lift your hand and give them away just say hello hello god bless you good to see you good to see you good to see you good to see you god bless you i was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the lord but this is the day that the lord has made and we're going to rejoice and we're going to be glad in it there is a word from the lord i'll be reading tonight from 2nd chronicles chapter number 7. we're going to read the first four verses and then we'll drop down to verse 11 and conclude in verse number 14. second chronicles chapter 7 verses 1 through 4 i'll be reading from the new king james version of the bible and then we'll drop down to verse number 11. when king solomon had finished praying fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices and the glory of the lord filled the temple and the priests could not enter the house of the lord because the glory of the lord had filled the lord's house when all the children of israel saw how the fire came down in the glory of the lord on the temple they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement and worshiped and praised god saying for he is good for his mercy endures forever then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the lord verse 11. thus solomon finished the house of the lord in the king's house and solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the lord in his own house then the lord appeared to solomon by night and said to him i have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice when i showed up to heaven and there is no rain or command the locust to devour the land or send pestilences among my people if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then what i hear from heaven heal their land and i will forgive and i will forgive that sin and i will heal that land the word of the lord has been spoken let us pray father tonight we are just thankful we're honored and we're humbled to be in the house of the lord one more time lord we give you thanks and praise for your goodness and for your mercy as the scripture said we can say that the lord is good and lord you have blessed us and you have kept us and you have watched over us go lord you have been a waymaker you've been a provider you've been a healer you've been a deliverer you have been our joy you've been our peace you've been our provider you've been our way you've been all that we needed and so much more and so tonight we have assembled for these three nights we ask you lord just to have your way tonight we come before you tonight like empty pictures we ask you to fill our cups speak to our hearts lord we want you to have your way lord and we thank you lord god that as people have gathered from all around and as people are watching online all over the world we're thankful and we're grateful that you never missed a case you never lost a patient you never lost the case there's nothing that that you did not see nothing that you did not know no place that you was not in that place and so tonight we're coming we've come home tonight home is where we belong in our father's house is joy and our father's house is healing and our father's house is deliverance and our father's know we've been here for a minute i'm not gonna hold you alone grab your bible let's go to first samuel chapter 11. first samuel chapter 11. i'm going to read from the first verse i believe they're going to put it on the screen for me first samuel chapter 11. if y'all pray for me i'll preach if you don't pray for me i'm gonna preach anyway but first samuel chapter 11 verse one i'm going to read from the message bible for the sake of time let's go so ney hash went after them and prepared to go to war against jabash gilead and the men of jabesh petition nahash make a treaty with us and we'll serve you they has said i'll make a treaty with you on one condition that every right eye among you be gouged out i'll humiliate every last man and woman in israel before i'm done and the town leaders of jabez said give us some time to send messengers around israel seven days should do it and if no one shows up to help us we'll accept your terms the messengers came to saul's place at gibeah and told the people what was going on and as the people broke out in loud well saul showed up he was coming back from the field with his oxen and saul asked what happened why is everyone crying they repeated the message that had come from jabesh the spirit of god came on saul when he heard the report and he flew into a rage y'all stay with me tonight he grabbed the yoke of oxen and and butchered them on the spot and he sent messengers throughout israel distributing the bloody pieces with this message anyone who refuses to join up with saul and samuel let this be the fate of his oxen and the terror of god sees the people and they came out one and all not a laggard among them saul took command of the people that bezek and there were 300 000 men from israel another 30 000 from judah and saul instructed the messengers tell this to the folk in jabesh gilead help is on the way expect it by noon tomorrow i know you got your mask on but i need you just to encourage your neighbor and tell them hell is on the way tell them now you can expect it by noon tomorrow be seated in the presence of the lord brethren i don't know where y'all at but i need y'all to kill this fan for me wherever y'all at kill this fan for me thank you dr jenkins holy spirit told me to start tonight's message echoing this prophetic decree that we find in hagar chapter 2 when god was encouraging those who were building the temple and he says these words the glory of this ladder house will be greater than the former yo somebody say help is on the way help is on the way [Applause] i want i just want to encourage somebody tonight because the last 18 months have been crazy but let me help you what's coming is better than what's been i came to prophesy tonight that everybody up under this tent everybody watching on the website everybody watching on facebook every one of you in this room you're walking away from tonight's experience with peace somebody just grabbed a hold of that you going home with peace tonight you going you go home with peace tonight my my assignment tonight is clear i know why god sent me here tonight it's to help you to elevate the level of your expectation my assignment tonight is clear on this opening night is to get you back into a place of radical faith where you have the mental the emotional and the spiritual capacity to believe god for anything i'm not sure if y'all touching each other but just push your neighbor tell them anything is possible i i hope you understand that that your pastor wasn't just trying to get you all together to have church your pastor heard from god and this is not just another churchy tent meeting but many of you had to be in the tent tonight because you're at a spiritual crossroads [Applause] and god is saying to us tonight who am i talking to i'm at i'm at a spiritual crossroad and and i feel like god is about to do something big i just we're at a spiritual crossroad tonight and god brought you back in this solemn assembly to say to you what paul said to the corinthian church test yourself to see if you are still in faith because the reality is over these last 18 months some of y'all been in church but you ain't been in faith god called you here tonight to get you back in faith and watch this whatever it is you are dealing with right now outside of the pandemic whatever that thing is that's stressing you whatever that thing is that has you about to break god said to remind you it's just a test [Applause] watch this it's just a test and tests are only given when it's time to move on to the next level let me say that again tests are not given until it's time to move on to the next level so my assignment is clear tonight you have got to leave here with elevated expectation i said you've got to leave here tonight with the level of your expectation elevated and in order for you to do that you are going to have to win the war for your soul you got to stop listening to the devil who's trying to convince you that you are setting yourself up to be disappointed again listen i'm on assignment tonight my assignment tonight is to get you out of your feelings [Applause] come here my assignment tonight is to get you out of your feelings and to get you back in faith so that when god does what he's gonna do tomorrow y'all didn't missed it just that fast i said when god does what he's gonna do tomorrow i ain't got but about 55 of y'all who's still with me somebody jump up and holler tomorrow that's when that's when that's that's that's that's that's what i'm that's when when god does what he's gonna do tomorrow you don't miss the move of god if i'm talking to you tonight and you feel like god is about to do something just talk to yourself and tell yourself help is on the feelings i'm not expecting things to get worse i'm expecting things to get better just go and put it in the atmosphere i'm expecting things to get better say it say it i'm expecting things to get better i i have a i have a holy expectation that by the time you get back to your car you are going to be free from nay hash some of y'all didn't forget already nay hash is the thing that keeps the people of god are in tonight's text that they're working through lowered expectations they've been attacked and they're in a place where they're trying to figure out what their next move is jabez gilead is expecting god to help him jbs gilead is expecting god to free them from nahash because after watch this agreeing to serve nay hash the condition is they would have to have their right eye gouged out i'm talking to people tonight because your expectations are so low you're considering accepting nahash's offer [Applause] but if you take neyhash's offer stephen you gotta have your right eye gouged out let me help you understand what god is trying to say to you tonight because anytime you agree to serve the enemy it will always cost you at least half of your vision [Applause] yo yo you grew impatient and you agreed to serve something or somebody that god never assigned you to watch this and because your right eye is gouged out all you can see is what's left god help me cause you lost half your vision now ain't nothing right cause all you can see is what's left oh but here's here's the good news tonight saul who is assigned to help you has heard about what's happening with you this going to make sense to you in just a moment saul who was assigned to help you has already been anointed all right look at verse six let me just walk you through it says the spirit of god came on saul when he heard the report and he flew into a rage i got to tell you you ain't the only one mad about what's going on with you let me drop this on you so you go home knowing you got something to celebrate your your help is not just skilled they are not just experienced but your help is anointed [Applause] i wish you would push your neighbor and tell them my help is anointed y'all my help is anointed somebody shout help is on the way help so i'm tonight walking away from the first night with an elevated level of expectation i'm gonna give you two things that you can expect after tonight my my level of expectation is elevated and the first thing i'm expecting is write this down you all ready i am expecting strength okay i know y'all thought it was gonna be deep but that's what god say thousand men and another 30 000 stephen from judah look at somebody tell them their strength in numbers and god said to encourage you tonight and tell you i'm about to gather people around you who respect your enemy but they ain't afraid of your enemy [Applause] somebody say help is on the way help help god said to tell you i'm sending strong leadership to help you navigate this season so you don't lose sight of what's right and so the enemy doesn't have opportunity to reduce your vision and cause you to see everything from one side only god told me to tell you to be strong and to tell you to expect strength to come from everywhere just i need you to prophesy over yourself lay your hands on yourself and just say strength everywhere straight lay your hands on yourself say strength everywhere strengthen my ankles strengthen my knees strengthen my back strengthen my mind strengthen my belly somebody holler strength everywhere i mean i don't know about you but i'm expecting who else in this in this building is expecting something i'm expecting the right people to respond i'm expecting strong people to respond so that the days of being weak and compromised and vulnerable and exploited are behind me tonight we declare our freedom from all of it say it tonight i declare my freedom from all of it and i declare i'll never be subject to that old depressing spirit ever again i need you to take 12 seconds and take a praise break right here and just praise god praise god you coming out of that depression come on praise god that that heavy spirit is being broken off for you yo come on i just just just a few more i'm just i'm waiting on it to catch on to your neighbor just come on praise god that god is breaking that weariness off of your mind i'm expecting i'm expecting will be strategic you will no longer be random and reactive your response meaning what you say what you do and every move you make will be the result of your time spent with holy spirit and the detailed instructions given to you by god god's will for your life is that you not just be strong but that you be strategic i need you to find three people find somebody you came with that you trust and tell them god's will for your life is that you be strong and and strategic i just come to set the tone for the rest of the week somebody say strong and strategic i need you talking cause you getting ready to make some boss moves say it strong and strategic say it again look down your row and say strong listen to me god doesn't just want you talented he wants you tactical [Music] god doesn't just want you christian he wants you calculated he doesn't just want you delivered he wants you deliberate and he definitely doesn't want you divisive he wants you divisive he wants you operating not just with integrity but with intention and god wants you moving from tonight forward with the constraint of a careful plan god wants you strong and strategic so he's sending leadership surrounding the season you're in but god said to tell you you are not going to have to submit to nahash god said to tell you you are not going to have to submit to the ammonites you are not going to
