the lord in prayer father we're so grateful that we have one more opportunity to come before your throne of grace just to say thank you for forgiving us of all of our sins for cleansing us from all unrighteousness for just giving us a word that is forever settled allowing us to come to you with all of our cares being able to cast our cares on you knowing that you are all knowing knowing that you are all powerful so we come to you today and we say thank you thank you for our husbands thank you for our children thank you for our grandchildren lord just thank you father for every good and every perfect gift that you have blessed us with we honor you today for your loving kindness for your tender mercies we want to gather to hear your word and we're praying that we would not allow any part of your word to fall to the ground that we would understand how important your word is that we would seek after you with all of our hearts our soul our mind and our strength we come asking that you would do a new thing in our lives that you would just pull out your spirit upon us a fresh and a new god we need a clean heart we need a right spirit so we're praying for that kind of anointing that destroys the yoke and we're also asking god that you would lead us and guide us show us what you would have us to do and each day give us this day our daily bread and we want to be able to forgive and not hold any art any bitterness in our hearts we're praying today for a heart that forgives a heart that would love we're praying that your healing virtue will go out right now and if there is anyone that is sick in their bodies that you would just touch them and heal them from the crown of their head to the soul of their feet if there's anyone tonight that is filled with anxiety father we're praying that you would give them peace that passage all understanding if there's anyone that may be grieving on tonight we ask that you strengthen them god that you draw them closer to you that you just wrap your loving arms around them and they will feel the comforter comforting them on tonight god whatever is going on in my brothers and my sister's life if they need a financial blessing father we're asking you to open doors for them make a way for them father for you said whatsoever we put our hands to do that you would just bless it god if my brother and my sister are traveling we pray for travel and grace that you would just watch over them as they travel from destination to destination and if they're struggling with the words of their mouth god we're asking that you would fill their hearts with love that you would fill their hearts with your word because we know that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speak god so we're praying on tonight that you would bring us together in unity you would bring us together in one mind god that we would gather our families together so they can come and dine at your table so that they can come and hear your word god we want to pray on tonight for the dale family we just ask that your anointing would rest upon them in a mighty mighty way that you would just get the glory out of their lives god we want to pray for every family member lord that you would just rest upon them in a mighty way be glorified in the lives of your children we pray for our pastor tonight as he come to send forth your word that there will be such an anointing that go out through the airways that lies will be changed that your anointing would go forth and destroy yokes and lord those that are held captive would be made free on tonight that we would not just be hearers of your word as we gather together lord that we would be willing and obedient to do all that you are commanding us to do that we will follow your word and we would honor your word because you said that it's forever settled you said that heaven and earth will pass away but your word will stand forever you said that man will not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeded out of your mouth and we thank you for your word on tonight what a privilege it is to honor and worship you just to come and dine at your table we want to thank you on tonight and give you you and your family a man two deaths in the family in one week a first cousin i believe in the 80s she he was sick in the hospital she told me but this that tragic loss of our sister minister eliza nephew that was very tragic 29 year old amen in us virgin island we we pray for the family and we are our heart goes out to you when your heart will hurt amen and i know that's what i love about new covenant we stand with our people during that time of loss and we stand with them when they rejoice amen and just like all of you stood with me in the loss of my brother our church is a great we have a great group of church family a great group of church family don't let the devil or anybody tells you that there are people in our church that don't love you that devil is a liar we love you we love you we love you and lady betty and i love you and we are so honored to be serving amen to be serving this local church body i think he's the best uh is the best church on this side of mississippi i our prayers we are going to go right into our word tonight i'm going to read from the book of hebrews the second chapter hebrews chapter 2 somebody may want to uh uh i don't see pastor brown i don't those young people sister fleming the need to be in bible study is important the word of we need the word of god this is a church bible study this is not just an online streaming this is bible study it's a corporate bible study where we come together on this medium to study the word of god together to hear what they'll say the lord and read together amen this is the way we grow spiritually this is the way we grow the shape of god's pasture never means a feeling when you find yourself that the zeal of god's house is not in your heart anymore you may be backsliding you need to look forward to worship services you need to look forward to bible study you need to look forward to fellowship look forward to friday night live look forward to prayer amen that's what's going to keep us in this season that will give us victory in jesus christ you know don't be alone don't don't let the devil catch you by yourself amen it's going to wear you out you need to you need to be a part of the corporate corporate prayer corporate bible study corporate worship that's how we get strength i draw strength from you you just you draw strength from me when you see people that are weak in faith weak in their work with god is because they have no accountability i mean look at jesus christ being god almighty he had 12 men that walked with him 12 amen and even when he went to pray he took three with him and then let him stay and pray and he went further to pray amen so you need to be careful the bible says beware because as you see the day of christ approaching that we should not uh neglect the assemblies of ourselves together we choose to assemble on this medium every tuesday for bible study and we like all of you to be there amen so uh pastor we need to tell our youth and young adults amen i may even make it a point praise him that i'm not in bible study should not be singing i don't want to hear no no no no we're not looking for for talent we're looking for anointed people of god that will sing the word of god amen that will sing under the anointing of the holy spirit amen so you need to be careful that you don't get into a position in this season where because in a way you you backslide you don't even know you have been you're already getting cold amen so i'm going to be driving that into all our youth and young adults they need to be in bible study amen all right uh we're gonna read the book of hebrews chapter two hebrews chapter two uh i'm gonna read one verse tonight hebrews chapter two i'm gonna read one verse therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we had we have heard lest any time we should let them sleep i'm reading from hebrews chapter 2 verse 1 therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard lest any time we should let them sleep amen god bless you may the lord bless the reading of his holy word tonight i want to teach on this thought take heed take heed in our text tonight to take heed means to pay careful attention to and is the opposite of disregard to god's word take heed pay close attention be careful see the writer of hebrews tells us that christ is superior to prophets and to angels and because the revelation of god in christ is superior we ought to give honest heed to the things that we have heard amen and because jesus is the final and supreme revelation of god we are to give special attention to god's message as it is revealed to us in christ jesus my brothers and sisters tonight we're going to consider some things that truly deserve our careful attention take heed we're going to talk about different things that all of us must pay close attention to you don't want the devil to make a fool out of you you don't want to be sleeping amen in this season and i'm not talking about you just taking a rest i'm talking about sleeping spiritually where you are actually back sleeping and you don't even know it you are cold to the things of god you are cold when it comes to prayer you are cold when it comes to bible study it doesn't excite you to come to bible study you got to be careful and check your spirit to make sure that the devil is not finding its way into your heart amen so we need to pay some attention and to some things careful attention to some things tonight that we need to take hit off the first thing i want to talk about tonight is number one take heed to the doctrine taught by others take heed to the doctrine taught by others amen uh in the book of mark chapter 8 verse 15 the bible says take heed beware of the leaven of the pharisees and of the level of herod amen you see it was very necessary for jesus to issue this warning because his disciples had come out of this uh uh uh the teaching of the pharisees the atmosphere where the pharisees and the sadducees were teaching and they will meet the pharisees again and again jesus christ combined a warning amen concerning the pharisees with a warning concerning herod amen christians we need to beware of on spiritual and irreligious teaching take it or deductions that are taught by other people you know i've heard people that say you know i just love to listen to that preaching on the radio i love to watch that picture on television you need to be careful the doctrines that are taught by other people you need to pay close attention to those doctrines be very careful beware because many online right now are teaching the doctrines of devils yes let me say it again they are teaching the doctrines of devils things that are not even scriptural i've you know i watch a program where this man preached without even opening opening the bible didn't even say nothing about the bible just told a bunch of stories just a bunch of stories and a bunch of illustrations but no scriptures people clapping people are happy they are jumping up and down yeah they're going to get some money they're going to get married they're jumping up up and down let me just tell you you need to take heat or deduction that's taught by these people amen because many of them are not even truly saved many of them are not sent by god and i'm not judging anyone i'm just inspecting the fruit i'm a fruit inspector amen i can listen to what somebody is saying for 5 10 15 minutes and can tell if they are sent off god because especially when they always bring them glory to themselves it's all about them it's all about their you know large auditorium it's all about their airplane about the money about all of it's all about fame take heed the doctrine that's taught by especially about people that you don't know their lifestyles you may pick up a demon from the person you are listening to especially if you're married and he preaching and he don't leave his wife first wife his second wife his thought wife is fought twice on the fifth wife what do you think will happen to your marriage amen you need to beware you need to know the ones the ones that are labor among you that's why i don't just open up our puppy to just anybody hallelujah because i want to make sure the people of god are fed the word of god amen and just be careful there are so many voices in the air that are that are preaching and teaching and while i'm on that you know you know i know the the verdict was out today on george floyd's murder and the police no the ex-police officer i'm not even going to say his name uh i'm going to say judge floyd's name but the ash police officer was convicted he was guilty on three or the three counts and people were so relieved to know that you know the african-americans the black rays you know their life matter amen doesn't matter who is preaching and teaching you know i remember i posted a video where a preacher was talking about is a scene for a white man to marry a black lady or a black man to marry a white woman i said those are doctrines of devils those are doctrines there's only one race and that race is a human race we are all humans whether you are tall short black white asian hispanics whoever you are we are all human race and we are all god's people so you need to beware take heed of the doctrines that people are teaching that that are not biblical they are doctrines of devils the second thing we want to talk about tonight uh you need to take heed that no one deceives you about jesus christ take heed that no one deceives you about jesus christ amen in the book of matthew 24 the bible says take heed in verse 4 that no man deceive you for many shall come in my name saying i am christ and shall deceive many you got to be careful it is amazing how successful some deceivers have been through ages being able to use eschatological programs and teachings about the second coming of our lord and many have claimed to be what jesus is the christ our messiah we need to beware of those who seek to lead us astray be very careful take heed and no man deceive you by jesus christ there's only one jesus christ and he is lord almighty amen he is the same yesterday today and forever he was the one is the one that was prophesied amen that mary would be conceived of a child he was the child that was born i believe isaiah a man prophesied about him that unto us a child is born unto us his son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulders and you shall call his name wonderful counselor the mighty god the everlasting father the prince of peace amen let me just tell you right now beware that people don't deceive you by jesus christ amen there's only one god there's only one god only one mediator between man and god amen the same god in genesis that said let there be light he's the same god that robbed himself in flesh and came among us amen don't you let nobody teach you an erroneous doctrine let me tell you jesus christ is god almighty to the glory of the father jesus christ is the father amen because when the when isaiah tells us that a child is born and his son is given a government shall be upon his shoulder you're going to call the child the son wonderful counselor that child that son the everlasting father the mighty god hallelujah that child that was born amen that was mary's child but the son was given that is divinity when jesus was born you have a fusion of humanity and divinity hallelujah when you looked at jesus christ when they looked at him or walking the street of galilee they were looking at god or my dear somebody may say well pastor i thought god is spirit yes god is spirit hallelujah but the bible tells us in john chapter 1 in the beginning was the word that word is jesus christ and the word was with god and the word was god the same was in the beginning with god all things were made by him without him was anything that was made that was made was made in him was life and life was a light of man and the bible tells us in john chapter 1 verse 14 and say and the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we behold hallelujah we behold we are looking of the glory of the only begotten of god what am i saying to you tonight jesus christ amen is more than just wearing a cross on your neck jesus christ is more than just saying the name jesus christ is more than just a teacher oh yes he was a good teacher jesus christ was more than just a healer yes he was a healer jesus christ was more than just a prophet yes he was a prophet jesus christ amen he is god almighty the fullness of godhead dwelled bodily in jesus christ amen he is the father in creation he is the son amen he is the son in redemption when he redeemed us from our sin and is the holy spirit in regeneration hallelujah the same jesus christ he is the one in genesis that said let there be light and it's the same one that robbed himself seven flesh amen to save us if you get to heaven you're not gonna find three thrones i believe john tells us in the book of revelation i feel like preaching tonight but i need to teach in the book of revelation amen john tells us that he saw one throne everybody said one throw one throw one throw no two not three no nine one throne and there is one sitting on the throne my brothers my sisters hallelujah his name is jesus christ when you say jesus you say it all this is why i pray in jesus name this is why i cast our devils in jesus name this is why i baptized in the watery grave in the water in jesus name because there is only one name mentioned on the heaven whereby we must be saved at the name of jesus every knee shall bow every knee shall bow whether you are baptist methodist pentecostal apostolic catholic or burger king it doesn't matter every knee is going to bow at the name of jesus so my brothers my sisters take it that no one deceive you about jesus christ you need to know who jesus christ is in your life hallelujah i i didn't hear no amen thank you sister jesus christ yeah they preach good they are good orators they are good encouragers but are they preaching jesus are they preaching jesus i'm asking you you got to preach jesus there's no other name mentioned under heaven whereby we must be saved is the only name mentioned under heaven that will save us he is the only one that came hallelujah bled and died for the sins of the world and he rose up on the third day with all power in his hand hallelujah and he is alive for evermore so my brothers and sisters my brothers and sisters take heed that no one deceives you about christ let's go to my thought point tonight let's go to my thought point on tonight take heed to god's word take heed to god's word we have also a more sure word of prophecy according to second peter 119 where onto you do well that you take heed us onto a light that shines in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star arises in your hearts take heed to god's word the word of god is powerful it is sharper than any two-edged sword hallelujah it cuts going in it cuts coming out we need the word of god i said we need the word of god don't give me sugar cookies don't give me the catechism don't give me what you hear on internet give me the word of god i will never leave you i will never forsake you give me the word of god he is the very present help in time of trouble give me the word of god hallelujah the lord is my shepherd i shall not want give me the word of god it makes me to lie down in green pastures he restores my soul give me the word he is the lord the heal of thee give me the word he will bless you going out it will bless you coming in give me the word i've been young now i'm old i've never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread give me the word don't let your heart be troubled believe in god believe also in me jesus says in my father's house are many mentions if we're not so i will have told you i go to prepare a place for you amen and then he said i'm going to come again somebody shall give me the word give me the word i need the word preach me the word of god i don't need you to entertain me i don't need you be very careful i don't need you to tell me you know you're doing all right all of us are okay we're going to get better now we're going to get better if we keep living in sin give me the word say i can't you need to get saved you need to believe you need to repent of your sins you need to take on the name of jesus christ and water baptism you need to receive the holy spirit akin you need to love your wife as christ loves the church amen preach the word of god to me you don't need to preach me a new house i don't need you to pray for me to get a new house all i need is a good credit and a down payment hallelujah and i can't take it with me when i die preach me into heaven tell me to repent tell me to treat my brother's right tell me to treat my sisters right preach and teach me to pray unto god teach me to have faith teach me how to fast how to have faith in god and believe god for miracles in my body for for healing that's what i want you to preach to me don't preach to me that i'm going to get a new car hey i don't need you to tell me about a new car if i want a new car i'll go put a down payment down and get a new car i don't need your preaching i don't need your prophecy about the new car i don't need a prophecy but let me just tell you right now keep your prophets to yourself before you go and prophesy is me getting a new fancy cloth a new gucci purse a new house a new car no i need to lord created me a new heart i renew the right spirit within me hallelujah preach to me for me to stop living insane for me to stop shacking up with persons i'm not married to for me to stop sleeping with someone somebody i'm not married to to stop cheating and lying amen to stop running the street amen to some doing the most like the young people say hallelujah that's what i want you to preach to me preach me the word of god i i don't want to i don't want you to preach me happy so that you know i just feel good i don't want to feel good i want to feel convicted of my wrongdoing if i'm treating you wrong i want the preaching of the word of god to convict me pastor brown thank you i need to change hallelujah all of us need to change we need a change hallelujah praise god man i feel the holy ghost tonight amen i offended at the preaching from person from pastor brown on sunday when he's telling you to change if you don't you need to change change the way you eat change the way you dress change the way you talk to people change the way you treat the waitresses change the way you treat your co-workers change the way you treat your mamas your daddies your grandmother and your grandfather change the way you treat your children and your grandchildren hallelujah many of your parents you you rack of debt for your children then you died how you got to pay your bills the devil you supposed to live inheritance for your children and children children listen to me you ought to honor your mama and your dad you all know i'm at a church when a young person get a job the first thing i have them do if they want me to bless them and bless their job to get increased i ask them to pay their tithes and then i ask them to pay another tight from their first check to their parents yes and i do it at our church all the time for my babies that really will listen to the instruction of god there's a pastor why do you do that because i want your mom and dad to lay hands on you and pray for you and bless you i want you to take that first check if it's a thousand dollars just take a hundred dollars say mom and dad you'll take each other out to go eat this is from me and you get on your knees and let them lay their hands on your head and bless you this is a problem in this generation children are cursed they are not being blessed by their parents anymore amen we need to start blessing our children we need to start blessing our grandchildren you know i love spending time with my grandkids i bless them every time i see them amen i you know i've already trained and raised my children now i'm working for my grandkids amen to be a blessing to them to live inheritance for them and this is what it's all about so be very careful amen that you take heed to the word of god make sure your eyes and your ears don't deceive you there is no doubt of the truth and certainty of god's words we constantly need to focus our minds on god's word concerning our blessed savior our blessed lord amen and amen let me go to my point number four hallelujah hallelujah i feel the holy ghost yes yes yes yes in the house number four take heed to what you hear about responsibility take heed to what you hear about responsibility amen uh let me say this about responsibility it is all of our responsibility to come together to worship i can worship for you you can worship for me when we come together under our parking lot our driving services which will be in heaven if you're joining us live tonight and i know many of your churches closed down we in closed down since pandemic started we never shut down we just changed the way we do ministry we have driving service and we've been having a great great driving services we've had new members join the church from the driving services hallelujah even on sunday i met so many of them that came to the driving service amen don't forsake the assembling of yourselves together as the mother of some east even as you see the day of the lord approaching all of us we come together and we sing our part we do our part when we come together we are like an orchestra amen and there's only one ticket that's printed and sold and guess who body jesus christ he's the only one sitting on the throne and say i love that worship i like what i hear i can smell the aroma of their worship of their prayers you need to come on out and praise the lord with new covenant hallelujah worship the lord with us get out of those four walls and get in your car get your mask on and park your car amen on our parking lot you're going to see us out there under a tent lifting up the name of jesus christ amen all of us got a responsibility responsibility to pay our tithes responsibility to pay our tithes and our offering ministry don't go forward we can preach the gospel we can do the ministry with our finances i thank god for our one million dollar building amen amen uh today all week long all last week i've been in the building i know many of you have been in there amen today today today i want to take this opportunity to thank all of you that have given towards that building because of what you have done we are saying the fruits of our labor we are we are planning to dedicate the building to the lord in a few weeks amen uh today today they spray the ceiling all black so it's really nice up in there hallelujah and uh we ordered our carpet already so the carpet should be coming in a few days i am ready amen to be able to put a ribbon around and cut the ribbon and you're going and see what you have built for god so i want to thank all of you for your faithfulness and tithing and giving because of your giving in the past three weeks we were able to pay seven thousand dollars today to do that selling isn't that wonderful that we didn't have to borrow to do it amen so i thank god for all of you that are faithful amen and not just in houston we got faithful people that are living in houston stafford cady sugarland amen uh uh richmond uh wisconsin all the way in wisconsin all the way in new york we are people sending our ties and offering from from from other states to our church because they watch us online they feel like they are part of new covenant amen and we thank god for them amen we appreciate all of them so we thank you for what you are doing in the kingdom because of what you've done generations will come to that building and be saved and because of you when they see you in heaven they're going to say thank you for giving to the lord i was one of the ones that came through that church thank you for giving to the lord amen it's our responsibility to build a house of worship where we can come together amen and worship god it's our responsibility to also take care of it i want to thank dick and dj i want to thank pastor brown i want to thank uh brother kian i want to thank all those young people every one of them a member of the clan amen uh brother jim all of them for what they do to take care of that overcharged with soffiting and drunkiness and cares of this life and so that they come upon you on our ways all right babies be very careful take it to yourself don't get carried away with drunkenness don't get carried away with smoking weed don't get carried away with turning up don't get carried away with just you know all this immorality in our world and i pray that you will never be part of the decay of this generation in jesus name amen take it to yourself jesus issued this blanket warning to his disciples and all of us who will follow them he wants us to guard our hearts against being weighed down with dissipation drunkenness and anxieties of life people are so anxious anxieties of life we need to ward off anything that will prevent us from watching constantly for the return of our lord jesus christ sinful living and obliques would deem the sense of hope and expectancy for the lord's return and this loss of expectancy leads to sinful living when you get weary of waiting all day they said the lord is coming back and you get weary and you slide back you start coming late to church you don't pay your tithe no more you don't pray no more you're not loving on our brothers and sisters on our church family and the extended family of god you're not trying to witness to somebody inviting someone to the house of god you you know you literally you are going away from the faith
