uh i do a smasher showcase series and sharp's name started as sharp the duck like that that's something i found out from him uh he did that like i think it was like club penguin or minecraft or something like that but that's there you go that's a little little drop of history in the knowledge bucket for you but we're gonna be seeing the joker come out and we're going to the smashville man yeah uh more some more smashville more animal crossing as we've mentioned earlier tonight this is ben's preferred stage so home field advantage in terms of favoritism but you're gonna fight joker a top tier but then beat a pikachu can they beat a joke or nest next on the tier list to many yeah well joker does do things a bit differently i mean obviously we're gonna see that counter um the rebels guard could honestly be a huge uh well they're going to be great if they did not die immediately yeah i don't know what happened there that was just a really weird interaction but um i'm sure we'll see sharp kind of uh you know figure out the game plan as we go forward here but rebels guard and uh catcher card right no no what's the uh what's the beefed up encounter yeah it's a tetra card if it's physical and makara karn if it's a projectile oh gotcha i didn't know they had different names man i don't know anything about persona i i'm a real persona fan i've played at least five all right so anyway but yeah so like uh obviously both of those can come in really really handy when dealing with the knight and any sort of setup that ben has and honestly can bring out um arsene a lot quicker than ven might like so then it does have to be very careful about how they um kind of throw up these approaches indeed indeed i like sharp fighting back a bit by bit tooth and nail here finding stuff here and there like that drag down down smash excellent work but because of that first stock you still need to make more happen and it could yeah and uh so far uh sharp's doing a very good job we did see an unfortunate situation um i i know there was a weird interaction but i feel like i i feel safe calling it an sd uh so we saw sharp kind of sd that first stock um and uh it's it was unfortunate but right now shark's making a decent run i know they're still a little bit behind but able to find a way to even up the stocks here and the way that joker puts down some damage sometimes oh my god never mind never mind until the kills that lightning kick the heels of doom uh do sharp in there and that is pretty rough okay all right so let's see where these guys kind of go from here right now ben sitting pretty and there we go gonna get arsene popping out that's what i was talking about hey if you'll give me that meter i'll take it oh for sure that's like a three full meter too and there's that reflect a bit it's actually dying from it you saw that sharp got hit by the lightning kick but the reflected knight was all it took to destroy then there not even at 100 i think after the reflect so that's pretty solid stuff and that puts sharp back in the game at a deficit but back in the game no you're absolutely correct there is a bit of a deficit but again joker has some great combo tools okay i thought he was gonna be looking for that rebels guard there again which probably could have gave him arsene uh which would really put it to a tough spot for venn but i assuming what he's trying to do is get a bit more damage on there so that when our scent does actually pop out it comes in when it matters most and it allows sharp to possibly close off the game yeah controlling that meter is so important you've got to be on top of that because as you said timing is crucial and that meter is almost full and as sharp finds that more damage our set is just one hit away here it's gonna be a regrab not getting hit yeah but there's our scent and i would do want to point out all that's huge not going to be able to kill though but see i mean we're already in a situation where we might be seeing then lose the stock he's not kept at all he didn't react enough to it but gets that drop off forward air the knight could not come out fast enough to protect the princess and after a dubious first stock sharp takes the dubious first game mm-hmm that uh was definitely absolutely crazy just goes to show the uh confidence that sharp has with joker being able to get into a spot where um he was able to win that game especially after that first stock which was very unfortunate but i mean like wow what a comeback from sharp indeed indeed so that's still van's preferred stage but we're kind of seeing van gogh back to the drawing board real quick go into that select screen so i'm not sure if then has a pocket secondary to pull it out but it looks like both players are being pulled off so this could be venn switching off of that preferred smashville could we be seeing town and city could be seeing more animal crossing tonight what do you think skiff it's definitely a possibility um i'm not sure i think then like you said does have to go back to the drawing board because like we saw sharp win that game right basically being down a whole stock like from the very beginning now what if we don't get that situation again like it becomes a possible even stronger game it looks like we are changing stages so i mean we'll just have to see where we go from here uh one thing i do want to point out is there is a really really smart and we're seeing the character change i do but i do want to point out that sharp had a couple like one of the ways i think he helped control that game a lot is he used his usage of gun was amazing in that game uh yeah and like uh we saw a couple times where he got a couple like small combo extensions just getting a couple shots in there so i mean that's just that's just good stuff all around but we're gonna be seeing this coming out it's probably because we're going to a ps2 this should be interesting indeed and it looks like that then also changed pallets for zelda he was playing the brown hair zelda were they listen i know for a fact that changing your color helps your performance in bracket i've seen it time and time again and if venn wins this game it just goes and proves that even further so sephiroth's biggest tools here are going to be shadow flare and sometimes the projectile uh in flare and it's upgraded versions but again venn has a reflective here so sharp has to be careful with how to use that otherwise it's gonna be a lot of poking with that forward air with that back air getting some grabs getting that nare especially out of shield is gonna be crucial and just putting ben in uncomfortable situations to utilize the craziness that is set for off especially with one winged angel out it's like at least 24 if not 30. all right tell us about the be in are you going to be able to get back the stage originally i thought uh that first taco slash that we were going to see a um a stage spike but no then barely able to get on top of the stage there so got a little bit lucky okay let's see what the option is here cintilla is on the board but never mind that up here gonna be able to blow up that first stock steph roth is a light boy incredibly light very tall very easy to hit and very easy to kill sharp was really struggling to land there and that's what really made it great for venn that one wing angel form does give you an extra jump but you can only go so far with it because ben is going far with the second stock yeah that was actually a really great recovery um just recognizing what the option was and just kind of getting sharp away from the ledge two allowing ben to just get back to the stage that was this beautiful gameplay indeed indeed one full stock up though ben is doing pretty handy this sephiroth is not quite the uh the angel that sharp needed i mean when you're up a game i don't think he really needs an angel uh but it's just a matter of like candy close it out and he's definitely playing around too much he's moving around too much and venice catching him wherever he goes uh i don't think the setback is quite the play it's not looking to be at least in this game one thing to say though because sephiroth is at a disadvantage right now when angel's going to come out much faster like he's 39 now instead of like 80 something one angel is gonna be out for a decent chunk of time yeah but i still think it's kind of crazy to like um he's already down this much and like his he's moving around too much he's he's using his jumps uh his double jump or whatever just kind of get different positioning but ben's been all over him he's got to find a different way to kind of move around the stage here yeah the traversal is not ideal that's an elevator to the top nice di keeping yourself alive but yeah like you said earlier though we got the one wing out and he's gonna be here for a bit so i mean we could see a situation where uh sharp could turn this around but 96 percent that's tough oh excellent though catching that jump i will say one when angel feels like an entirely different character sometimes with that speed and damage upgrade but because sharp got this box one angel is gone for now it will return later with a little bit more percentage but right now we now just got base separate off nothing special nothing bizarro about him yeah i don't know if we'll see one winged uh come out again it's gonna be a while for sure thus he could have landed with cintilla and could have put on a good amount of damage on the vent here he's definitely being careful and we could see potentially a turnaround here another comeback which would be absolutely insane spacing from sharp is immaculate as well you have to keep that in mind and that's the spike just when you thought that ben had it under wraps the reverse three stock courtesy of that sephiroth the look to the screen of yeah you're not worth my time and the walk into the flames and the walk into the top eight dude sharp on top of his game just feels so so unstoppable man what a beautiful way to end that set not only getting the reverse restock but ending it like that 45 percent finding this the spike
