arena codes ready to just step up in the hopefully jake and just shake off that winner set because this is a new opponent and uh same thing for them though it's just like you just finished the game five beating out on this who beat you game five at msm so that's really good so you overcame one of your problems now you got another problem in jake for you and if you could take a game you could take a set you got to be that mentality so it's just like uh you said you've had close sets before with jake you could definitely make it happen but uh jake's a champion of the box so we'll see how it happens yeah i mean jake is definitely a champion ben's definitely had a couple runs in the top eight i believe a few times i don't know if we've ever actually had ben on stream for a juice box yet uh i mean either way we're gonna be able to get them in just a second here looks like we'll be getting into our first game going to town and city we've got alex taking on zelda here and this should be interesting i know that this stage is generally pretty decent for steve and alex man you know that gives them enough room to really kind of move around here it gives them that short last one on the side that steve loves to kill off of absolutely gonna take a good start here but not sure if uh jake is gonna answer this or not i remember he's had some kind of rough games in the past before so we'll see we'll see we'll see a really good start for venom though for sure for sure yeah we'll definitely see how uh things start to shake out from here i mean ben's definitely doing a pretty good job oh that minecart the boosted minecart gonna give a nice little bit of damage in a backer as well dude steve back here is is not okay it's really not okay it is brutal especially with the diamond but wow what a setup from ledge zelda's mobility isn't fantastic maybe the best option there may have been go to platform on the left or just drop off the stage maybe up air through it without one opening and now already 45 extra credit yeah dude jake is definitely doing a good job listen i couldn't even tell that they just lost a set five seconds ago because the way they're playing is absolutely monstrous they're putting down this damage on the vent and really making them struggle here oh no that's a tough stop to the end man that nero's love is busted i swear yeah that may as well been an sd because like uh this stage spike you gotta be ready for those you gotta be ready for the worst case scenario but two stocks at two amazing extra credit one hit away from uh taking the zelda stock but then trying to close the gap here uh oh okay just a dash attacks nothing super crazy but that could have been very very dangerous for jake yeah definitely could have been a grab there but i think he just wanted a gear and she punched back here though wow what a call out uh diamondback here is i mean i know i was talking about just steve backer in general diamondback here alone is probably one of like a top five top ten move in this game it's so strong it's quick it's a great disc joint as well just such a such a gross move in general but there we go ben's gonna get back to stage gonna get around that forward smash this is brutal right now for vans zelda kick smash man would you if i told you jake just lost his set like 10 seconds ago would you believe me well considering that event has been the best zelda for like multiple smash games brawl smash 4 ultimate venn has pioneered this character for basically a decade so very impressive stuff here for jake and just seems a very difficult thing for zelda to deal with honestly a lot of these tools uh just like even minecart is so impressive for so much of the cast so uh kids stuff to jake going up 1-0 that's one step closer to top four yeah it's like it's a very weird situation because i feel like it's it's a scenario where zelda kind of has to be a bit of a brawler here like has to go in because knight and um didn't spire just don't really do anything to steve they're just able to put up that wall and just hey i'm just gonna gather resources unless you come around so i don't know i don't know what the answer is for ven but steve is definitely absolutely killing it uh jake is an absolute monster yeah you're running it right back to town city incredible stage for both characters yet again uh or not i guess let's take a look at the smash gg what you saw got to say pokemon stadium 2 is actually yeah ps2 the destination you are 100 correct so uh yeah gonna switch it up for just a little bit just take a couple seconds for that but man uh i can't i can't wait to see more of this on the other end of losers quarters though the winner of this set will go up against the winner of 8-bit man and chad which 8-bit man is up 2-1 very uncharacteristic because like check is typically known for beating the players like captain from sito and like 8-bit man so just like i don't know maybe the other players are just having a really good night as well because captain seats are playing really well yeah yeah uh captaincydo's definitely killing it and uh 8-bit man i mean going over uh 2-1 over chag right now could potentially be 3-1 i don't know how that match is going on you could probably check out uh tian could be streaming but 8-bit man is usually always streaming so you can always check out to see how that's going but um the crazy thing here if fence able to find a way to turn this around and take this set we are guaranteed assuming chad loses as well we are guaranteed a new juice box winner but with the way that for game one went i don't know if jake's gonna be uh dropping this that's a good eye man four of the six remaining players have not won a juice box so that's good odds i remember my winners they're dear to me absolutely that explains why you don't think about me come on what are you talking about i always think about you i i lay in bed i say i wonder what rickles is doing and then i imagine you probably broke somebody's shield and you're playing that congratulations thing just to talk them a little bit more you know being yourself does your wife know about this what you do in bed anyway going into game two losers quarters here juice box number 39 uh yeah let's see what we can do for van i think ben's really going to want to capitalize on this stock so uh i love ps2 for zelda because again that phantom just dictates so much of the space on the stage uh phantom i feel like just dictates the pace of the game in general and it's like you mentioned before it's all about counter play around phantom if you could find that you generally have a decent in on zelda and jake seems to be doing it pretty well so far got rid of the crafting table yeah well just in general the threat of that giant up here through the stage is beautiful and wow what a dash of texas stuff hit no more iron on the board enough ford fetch catching that wow we got van taking the stock but not too far away from losing the stock let's see if that can get out of there clang suit let's fire her playing with wobble dude yeah i mean gonna be able to find a way back to stage the down smash was not strong enough but it sure was close honestly that's 28 percent oh my goodness all right you know what it seems like ben is starting to find their group here i spoke a little too soon the dash attack still has a 45 lead here so it's not the worst case scenario but you definitely uh you're definitely doing better than last game that's for sure yeah do a little bit more before we get still played by steve thank god that was so close you almost spoke that right to existence like damn dude i know you beat up vet all the time you don't have to curse him into being beat up at everybody else but you know yeah yeah so we could all flex that i've destroyed that never mind speaking of flexing dude then with the hardest fallout right there we love to see it man what a play and wow the combo starters are coming through i'll tilt the nyrus what whoa hello ben my my goodness i mean i mean they they are certainly pulling out some crazy plays it looks like they're starting to figure out the match up you know what zelda does have to try for some wisdom and hey man ben's looking like a genius right now what you would like master a character for a decade oh you could make some noise that looks so sad dude oh my goodness like imagine you saw that in a regular minecraft game it's just like oh i'm just gonna go fun on a fun mine cart ride oh boom you're gone dude let's look at this final replay dude i want to see that last stock again oh we got we got the second stock come up here first the the combo into uh pharaoh's win which honestly was just fantastic right there oh oh there's something so special about zelda's up here man it looks so cool there we go down tilt into the forward air slow mo look at that and then see you later wow dude the control that zelda has over that in all the past smash games zelda would go in the freefall after that by the way too so she could never use it off stage now she can actually recover i thought she could use a um she wouldn't go into free fall in four or is it definitely start in ultimate i think it starts in ultimate because it's the same way bouncing fish okay yeah yeah but man wow what up what a answer back especially after that game one i mean ben definitely came out here delivered some crazy stocks absolutely beautiful pieces of work but i mean now we're getting into a game three both players with a game on the board here and really game three can mean a lot going forward so both these players gotta make sure they're doing their best they definitely don't want to be giving up random socks or anything free for their opponent absolutely man let's see what we can do going into this man uh one to one it's a van with a convincing game too man and now tacking up a little bit extra damage here but now both of them within ko range okay interesting setup there actually no i do like that you know he put the anvil down so he could stand on the infield and actually position the up smash just a little bit higher so i do like that almost got it but like oh that was almost the same setup we saw for the first stock in game two that shield blow yeah this stock is lasting a long time for both characters both are making it count for sure wow gotta be careful here about how you get back on oh maybe enough yeah i i think becca or even after would have both done it so that's amazing yeah yeah dude uh ben actually really looking good here i mean that was definitely the most competitive first stock we've seen so far in this set but um yeah vent gonna be coming out at with the advantage there and now jake's gonna find a way to you know dig the way back into the lead that angle was insane got the damage and made still was able to drift the ledge after that oh man that nero's love definitely coming in clutch here a few times now in this oh no yeah but that's gonna be the stock we're gonna get the boosted mine cart and vince is not gonna be able to have an answer for that oh man the amount of space that seems to control on here from center stage man but either direction you got a good hold on this matchup but there we go 52 percent off of one opening no bad landing but very safe player with the uh nyrus oh very fantastic catch i mean recognizing that jake does like to go for those mine carts as soon as he lands just to kind of throw out a hitbox and ben was ready to land right on top of it just getting that hit getting that kill and obviously they got a nice little lead here but the forward smash is not gonna be is that two up these stocks now was zelda i think so right this game i forgot what the first stock was to be honest i thought it was like the uppy to the silver edge and it just ko'd right oh it might have been yeah oh wow the di though and the diamond tool as well i mean the diamond dash tag not gonna be enough there yeah they definitely need to be getting some good extra credit here you don't want to be losing that stock soon jake does such a good job when he's able to close up the stock even with the deficit because he's able to make up this damage and one up tilt so i mean ben's got to be very very careful there we go combo starter here oh wow combo breaker get out of my face yeah right there we go there's that cart coming out again throwing out nero's love trying to dis disrupt anything that jake is gonna get going but there you go man he's gonna get the percentage lead and they find their way through somehow dash attack off stage won't get the lightning kick or the phantom opportunity here for ben trying to intercept with an update i might have done it actually alex is not very heavy at all but now both of them within ko range but uh i think jake has the edge right now literally the killing edge oh no held out a little bit too long there the sour hit oh the myth oh my god oh my god there's so much happening right now i don't know what i don't know what please yeah please oh there we go now that's so that's something you gotta be careful of man if you land on zelda shield with a move that has too much commitment behind it she can immediately lightning kick right out of there and absolutely decimate stocks at higher percentages so that's something look at that wave landing see that is a wavelength that oh that's right oh my goodness that is probably the best wavelength i've ever seen because it's not one it's not between stocks and two there was an actual purpose behind it it led to a whole stock absolutely gonna hit off of the side right there and now we got a very uh different game uh van going up 2-1 that's a big deal man i'd love to see it yeah and uh on the other side we got currently two to two between chag and eight bit man so i mean chag is definitely starting to wake up here a little bit but it could be too little too late but outside of that let's get back into this game right here back to small battlefield and like you said then up 2-1 jake's got to find something quick yeah back on small battlefield let's see what these two can do against one another i i really don't know what jake can do differently here i think he could be respecting phantom a little bit more and also he he's got to be able to close up the stock a little bit sooner but uh again against someone like then ben's not making it easy wow the spot dodge actually gonna get him out of the potential of getting a grab and now taking a percentage lead here gonna miss that tech and eat a backer for it yeah this pressure that jake is applying here on this game is looking pretty solid so far let's see if then can turn things up and close out this stock oh yo vent is really starting to find some good counter play especially oh my goodness you mentioned counter play around night and right now it's all about ven finding the counter play around the mine cart we've seen nero's love and knight both come into play that absolutely disrupt it and oh my goodness not gonna get the stock there though jake's gonna work a little harder for it i love that positioning from ben to teleport to the center but uh gotta be careful here wow a really safe option there can't do that move does everything for you everything for you here comes the minecart dude honestly my car is oh there we go gonna be able to take out the stock as i said one there's one of the most ridiculous moves in the game i mean not only is it a projectile but it's also a command grab um and a good hitbox too you're able to find the uh the boosted minecart yeah but the two just traded side views but it was a huge mileage for event because events actually did damage it's uh speaking of damage 72 basically off of one opening now jake's back in the game yeah that all started because then committed to that barrowers win and you're gonna run right into the up smash yeah this is definitely a bit of a scary situation here gonna get the setup for the tnt no way the replay what i think that sent the knockback back to jake does it does it use the redstone too what was that then really got hit by that minecart but now we got one stock each one stock away from uh then moving on to top four jake is facing elimination unless they can wake up right here and now i need to i need to see the replay on that stock because i think it used the redstone to actually push the explosion back i don't know i'm so confused but either way final stock situation here like you mentioned jake sitting here with diamond tools that could have been here right there oh my god dropped it yeah let's see what we can do here good teleportation right there oh the down uh there is almost enough use that phantom just to create a little oh all right well we're dying there i don't know if that was just bad the eye but um can we see that stock again the second segment there was no kill screen for that that's crazy hold up i pretty sure use the redstone i don't know actually i don't know maybe not but still that was that was just a really really well timed uh reflect look at that that was crazy that was crazy well game five situation so that's two game fives and losers quarter finals um and actually chad just took it 3-2 over 8-bit man so i mean are we going to see the turnaround here from jake as well uh wrinkles what do you think man [Music] oh i was muted wow yeah i was talking about sorry about that yeah i think jake is expected to win this like so like he's favored to win it and he's got the set record as well so honestly he just needs one game this is just the best of one at this point but i think this is the stage that ben won on very solidly so he's gonna be extra careful for sure for sure and yeah this actually does continue the tradition between the zelda and uh minecraft steve uh sets between these two where it goes to the final game in the set no matter what a little bit of a fun fact there for you yeah yeah so as for tradition so ben wants to change history like ven did against alan disc just a little bit ago took a lot of damage for that yeah that was definitely a bit of a rough situation and that's one thing i really like that jake does very well is using the minecart to zoom himself across stage or into his opponent's face to get a forward air or in there [Music] yep watch out 110 this is rough another one good job rolling out of there whoa no way dude the swinging the diamond that's it yep oh man that was rough that was just great pressure from jake from start to finish there man then just looked like they were just kind of struggling to get something going or just get oh that could have been about oh my god two stocks a piece man game five stock for stock game for game these two are going at it yeah then does have to dial it back a little bit because i feel like they're allowing jig to get a lot of free pressure they don't need to allow that to happen yeah crazy game so far wow breaking out of that not taking any percent despite being grabbed out of that so uh i guess it's very important to notice is that like if you do get grabbed by the minecart you don't take any damage however you're in there for a while at the point where steve could approach you with a killing blow and there we go this is what we need to see from ben if he wants to find a way to take this victory he's got to be using that nero's love that entire last game we didn't see much of nero's love if any and i felt like that's kind of attributed to the reason that why jake was able to take the w but right now still second stocks got a good little percentage lead here but we know what jake can do with diamond oh wow we're a great minecart man he's been really good with those a lot of the time a really safe landing there from then but a high risk had jake charge that a little bit longer just makes it a little different oh my goodness what a stock from ben this is the opportunity to get extra credit do not let this get away from you and as soon as jake lands diamond is a jake's best friend gonna get some good damage there oh that's a lot of damage and that could be it oh wow what a way to break out of the combo breaker tried and true from zelda man we uh are definitely very thankful for that if you are then jake though gonna even it up one stock a piece now honestly this can go either way yeah i honestly don't know where this will go from here this is a little scary i think for both players here i mean final stock situation 30 percent is really not a deficit for steve or alex just fighting the phantom knight jake has an opportunity to hear a man one opening and he can put himself in an amazing position but ven's not making that easy now ben's gonna definitely dial it back here a little bit not wanting to get caught up in any of steve's shenanigans i mean jake's gonna get his materials either way one way or another there we go yeah the wind box is gonna help up with a bit there you go one opening oh wow good to find their way out of it good di yeah i'm gonna avoid the up smash but still evening it up oh then then like to control their space without the up tilt follow jack definitely has the edge here but honestly one lightning kick could be enough yeah you're definitely looking for it oh god oh what a landing that nero's love is so clutch for venn minecart oh no iron though can't even do it you might just rely on the smash attack yeah you got to get way too aggressive yeah oh wow grates up the vent though finally getting a win on the steve but i felt like for jake he just could have dialed it back a little bit tried to get some of his iron resources because i feel like so much of his game relies around that but great victory from then uh gonna be able to close it out with yet another lightning kick and man what a set that was fun moving three two over jake uh eliminating jake at fifth place so really good stuff to vent advancing this far in the juice box i know they've been wanting it for a very long time i think usually then if they ever do make it to top eight at the juice box they lose their on stream set so a big w two in a row game five over at alan dis and then game five over jake and now a rematch with chad because chad is the one that put van into losers so uh earlier in the winners top 64. so i think ven's very happy about that and uh yeah you know so right now with the four players that are left we have a three and four chance a 75 chance that there's gonna be a new champion
